The Legend of the Five:
Milo and Lexie were still hiding under the desk and Mr Danbury was still in the room. The toad started croaking and Mr Danbury walked over to Milo's bed and took his toad out of the box.
"Oh those sneaky little kids, they just took you," said Mr. Danbury. "What did those brats do to you?"
Mr Danbury started cleaning his toad, Milo made a noise and Mr Danbury turned towards the desk and saw the two sitting down. He put the pad back down on the bed and took a step towards the desk.
"I hear you, I'll count to three and you'll crawl from under that desk, said Mr. Danbury. "Three, two, one.
"Yes!" Said Milo.
Milo and Lexie anxiously crawled out from under the desk and stood face to face with Mr Danbury. The two took pegs off their noses and Milo started to hide behind Lexie.
"Not showing up for detention is very stupid of you, very stupid, but taking my toad is unforgivable! Come with me, immediately!" Ordered Mr. Danbury.
"Yes," said Milo.
Milo and Lexie walked towards the door, Milo turned and watched as Mr Danbury put the toad in the box and closed it.
"Percy!" Said Milo
"Shut up, you'll regret this joke for a long time, very long," said Mr. Danbury.
Milo became quiet, Mr Danbury pointed to the door and Milo started walking and left the room. Mr Danbury also walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.
In the meantime, Skyla and Percy were at school, they had hidden in Mr Gibson's classroom to begin their mission to spy on him. Percy looked around to make sure the coast was clear, then grabbed his recorder and turned it on.
"The mission has started, the goal: following Mr. Gibson/Leopold and looking for evidence that proves that he is part of the Dark Druids," said Percy.
"And what if he sees us?" Asked Skyla.
With a good hiding place, that is impossible," said Percy. "Come."
Percy turned his recorder off again, he and Skyla snuck to the back of the classroom, Percy looked around for good hiding places.
"This is a good hiding spot for you, said Percy, as he pointed to the spot. "Stay hidden and don't make any noise, not matter what Leopold does, okay?"
"What you do mean?" Asked Skyla.
Percy carefully looked up through the window and saw that Mr Gibson was coming, he and Skyla went to hide. Mr Gibson entered his classroom and sat down at his desk. Percy and Skyla saw that Mr Gibson had a pair of glasses in his hands, he took off his glasses, then opened the glasses case and took out a pair of glasses from it, and this pair of glasses had a red lens on one of the lenses and Mr Gibson put on glasses. And as soon as Mr Gibson had put these glasses on he also took them off again, he put the glasses in the pocket of jacket and put his own glasses back on, he grabbed his bag and left his classroom again. Percy cautiously looked up to see where Mr Gibson was going.
Percy and Skyla had given chase and had followed Mr Gibson to that library. Skyla and Percy hid behind the bookcase and spied Mr Gibson again and this time too he had put on the glasses.
"What is he going to do?" Asked Skyla.
"I believe he is looking for something," said Percy, he grabbed his recorder and turned it on. "Leopold has put on glasses with a red seeker. He possibly looking for tracks."
Skyla and Percy saw Mr Gibson looking their way and they quickly canvassed away. Carefully they raised their heads again and thankfully Mr Gibson did not realise they were there, the two saw Mr Gibson standing by the wall and that he was examining the wall.
"Maybe you're right, maybe he is a member of the Dark Druids," said Skyla.
The school bell rang, Skyla and Percy quickly ducked behind the bookcase before Mr Gibson could see around. Mr Gibson did hear something, he took off his glasses and looked in the direction of the bookcase.
At the same time, Anastacia was in the corridor by her locker, talking to herself in the mirror.
"And the leads of the musical go the Anastacia and Raphael," said Anastacia. "Thank you, thank you."
Anastacia closed her locker and Ms Mills walked towards her.
"So, are you studying for the auditions?" Asked Ms. Mills.
"Studying? Well if you've a voice lie mine, studying is unnecessary, an audition is just a small step," said Anastacia.
"Are you guys going to rehearse today? I would like to be there, I've promised Raphael to help you a little bit. I'm a member of the jury after all," said Ms. Mills.
"The jury? You're a member of the jury?" Asked Anastacia.
"Yes, I believe in you, so practice a lot," said Ms. Mills.
"Yes," said Anastacia.
"I'll see you later," said Ms. Mills.
"Yes," said Anastacia.
Ms Mills walked off again. Anastacia's smile disappeared completely and was replaced by a nervous look, she opened her bag and looked for her phone. Anastacia had found her phone and called Lexie, but got her voicemail.
"Lexie, where are you? We have to rehearse!" Said Anastacia, she was about the hang up her phone, but quickly put it back against her ear. "So, I'll see you later, bye."
In the meantime, Skyla and Percy were still hiding in library, Mr Gibson had meanwhile left the library.
"I really thought he would've seen us," said Skyla.
"Me too," said Percy.
"Now what?" Asked Skyla.
Percy said nothing, he walked towards the wall that Mr Gibson was looking at with his special glasses earlier, he took his recorder from his pocket and turned it on.
"Leopold was looking at one of the walls of the library with special glasses with the red seeker, but there is nothing to see on these wall, What kind of glasses are they? What is Leopold looking for?" Asked Percy.
Yes, and why did he tell us about his daughter? And what does he want from us if he is member of the Dark Druids? Asked Skyla.
"Lot of questions, not enough answer," said Percy.
"Can't we go talk to him again?" Suggested Skyla.
"That's too dangerous," said Percy.
"He wanted to tell us something last time," said Skyla, she saw that Percy didn't know what she was talking about. "When you passed out, remember?"
"If he is member of the Dark Druids, it's too dangerous, We don't know what he wants and we can't any risk..," said Percy.
Percy did not finised his sentence, he stopped talking as soon as he saw Winnie enter. Skyla and Percy left the library again.
In the meantime, Milo and Lexie were now also at school and stood in front of the headmaster's office along with Danbury put the pad back in the boos and then looked angrily at the two teenagers, Lexie looked anxious, Milo tried to put on innocent smile.
"There is only punishment for kidnapping my toad, I've warned you miserable brats," said Mr. Danbury. "Apparently two weeks of detention isn't enough for you."
"We'll never do it again," said Lexie.
"You should've thought of that sooner," said Mr. Danbury.
"But Percy…," said Milo.
"Silence! You two get a full month of detention added to your two weeks, starting today. Onwards you come to my office during every break and before class," said Mr. Danbury.
"Every break?" Asked Lexie.
"But that's too often," said Milo.
"You've noticed, Mr. Fletcher," said Mr. Danbury. "I'll see you at noon."
Mr Danbury walked into his office and closed the door. Milo walked towards the door and called Percy's name. Anastacia was walking down the hall at that moment, she saw Lexie standing there and walked towards her.
"Lexie! Where were you? Ms. Mills will be there during rehearsals at noon and she is a member of the jury, so you have to sing," said Anastacia.
"But the Headmaster," said Lexie.
"I don't know if you remember that you're staying at my house," said Anastacia and Lexie nodded her head. "You were going to do something in return."
"But..," began Lexie.
"I'll see you at noon, during the rehearsals, don't be late," said Anastacia.
A few moments later. Mr Gibson was sitting in his classroom looking at a picture of him and Emma.
"We need to be patient my sweet Emma, Percy and Skyla have to trust me first, without them I can't save you, I have to do it, I've to tell them about the Five," said Mr. Gibson.
In the meantime, Milo and Lexie were at the lockers and Milo felt like a failure because his mission had failed.
"I've abandoned him," said Milo.
"Don't say that," said Lexie.
"We've to go back," said Milo.
"In his office?" Asked Lexie.
"He'll do the same for me, because I'm his best friend," said Milo, he started to look down at the ground with a sad facial expression.
Milo looked up into the corridor again; he saw Percy standing there. Milo rubbed his eyes and then Percy was gone again.
"I'm missing Percy so much, that I see him walking around," said Milo.
"But I can see him too," said Lexie, as she saw that Percy was walking their way.
"Percy! Little Percy! Yay! Percy! I'm so happy the ointment worked! You're free!" Said Milo.
"Free?" Asked Percy.
"Too bad we saved Percy, right, little witch?" Said Lexie.
"Oh, Percy, I'm so happy you're back, I thought you would stay a toad forever!" Said Milo.
"A toad? What are you talking about?" Asked Percy.
"Give a hug," said Milo.
Milo gave Percy a hug, but he found the whole situation confusing. Skyla noticed that Lexie was staring at her with almost a threatenig looking expression.
Meanwhile in the school Master's office. Mr Danbury was sitting at his desk with the pad in his hands.
"They nearly ruined the ritual, Herman," said Mr. Danbury. "Yes, but they will be punished, Just a little while longer, and we'll help Kent with the first incorporation."
Mr Danbury started grinning evilly and started petting his toad.
A few moments later and the Anubis residents and their fellow students were sitting in history classroom for class. Mr Gibson entered the classroom and dimmed the lights. Milo got up from his chair and knelt beside Anastacia's chair.
"Anastacia, this light is so romantic," said Milo.
"Go sit over there," said Anastacia, as she shoved Milo out of the way.
Milo sat back down in his chair. Mr Gibson stood in front of the class in silence and looked into the classroom, the rest of the class continued talking, but became silent one by one when they saw that Mr Gibson wanted to start.
"Go sit over there," said Anastacia, as she shoved Milo out of the way.
"Today, I want to talk about…," began Mr. Gibson. "About the Legend of the Five, I've told you about the Dark Druids. Druids who want power over this world. Luckily this was always prevented by humans with special abilities, throughout history. Like King Arthur and Knights of the Round Table."
"And like Superman!" Said Milo.
Milo got up on his chair and started imitating Superman's ditty and almost everyone in the class started laughing.
"Milo Fletcher, sit down!" Yelled Mr. Gibson.
Everyone stopped laughing and Milo quickly sat back in his seat. Skyla and Percy looked at each other after Mr Gibson's angry reaction and both found this suspicious. Lexie raised her hand.
"Lexie?" Said Mr. Gibson.
"What is the Legend of the Five?" Asked Lexie.
"Just like King Arthur and his knights, the Five are destined to stop the Dark Druids, The Legend of the Five is about Five children with special abilities, abilities they've to develop before they can use them against the Dark Druids," said Mr. Gibson. he saw that Lexie had her hand up again. "Lexie."
"Where does the legend come from?" Asked Lexie.
"Merlin, Merlin's prophecy, A druid, King Arthur's wise man," said Mr. Gibson.
Mr Gibson picked up a book and showed the class a drawing of Merlin and then started telling more about Merlin and the prophecy of the Five.
"According to Merlin's prophecy the children will be born before the year 2000, so that means that the Five are with us already, without them knowing anything about their special ability," said Mr. Gibson.
Anastacia and Raphael did not seem to think much of Mr Gibson's story. Milo had clearly become impressed by the story, and Percy and Skyla looked at each other again, thinking there was more to it than just a simple history lesson.
Will Skyla, Percy, Milo, Anastacia and Raphael now realise that they are the Five? Will Mr Gibson's plan work to gain Skyla and Percy's trust now? And what are the toads for in the ritual?
