Months passed and everything is going well. Especially those who are not privy to the most minute details of the relationship. However, as the luster of the first few months, Sakura was finally able to feel that something is missing in their relationship.

"I love you." Sakura murmured as they watched the sunset from the top of the Hokage mountain.

Kakashi hummed as a response and planted the heel of his hand into the ground and leaned into it, away from Sakura. Sakura noticed the subtle movement, a flicker of distance that had become more noticeable in recent weeks.

Sakura felt the prick of tears in her eyes, but she just looked away. She really love the man, and if she doesn't question anything that she sees questionable there's no problem to worry about. She took a deep breath and tried to chase away the thoughts that plagued her mind.

"Sakura?" Kakashi called her. "What would your advice be for a friend, if there's something that they want to tell their partner but they can't because they will hurt their significant other?"

Sakura turned to Kakashi, her expression thoughtful. "I would advise them to be honest. Communication is key in any relationship. It might be difficult, and there's a risk of hurting the other person, but keeping things bottled up will only lead to more problems in the long run. It's better to address the issue early on and work through it together."

Kakashi nodded, his eyes reflecting a mixture of understanding and contemplation. "You're right, Sakura. Honesty is important. I... I have something to tell you."

Sakura looked at Kakashi, concern etched on her face. "What is it, Kakashi? You can tell me anything."

Kakashi took a deep breath, choosing his words carefully. "Lately, I've been feeling a bit... overwhelmed and inadequate." he admitted. "I don't know anything about relationships or how to act when you're in one. And honestly, I don't like the restraints that comes with relationships."

Sakura listened attentively, her concern deepening as Kakashi shared his feelings. She reached out, placing a comforting hand on his arm.

"Do you want to break it off?" Sakura asked. She is hoping for the best but she braced herself for the worst.

"Yes." Kakashi answered her without hesitation.

Sakura felt a pang in her chest as Kakashi's words sank in. The admission hit her harder than she expected, and she took a moment to collect herself before responding.

"Okay." She responded before standing up. She brushed the seat of her pants before walking away. There will be no tears. She will not cry. She'll just walk away and give him what he wants.

But in her heart, she hoped. She hoped that Kakashi would stop her. That he will tell her that he was wrong. But when she approached the edge of the forest, and Kakashi didn't moved an inch, she knows. Her fairytale story already came to an end.
