For my sister.

I had a pretty dress in my closet at the Mikealson's and Kol definitely had a black suit somewhere. As the self proclaimed runner up, I needed to look better than Caroline and all the current participants.

Usually I'd go early to help with set up but I found myself caring less and less about these silly town events.

"What's your plan when I go off to college next year?" I asked turning to face Kol. It was the next morning and both of us laid under the covers undressed.

"I think traveling the world is a better plan for you. There's so much you can see and you'll be wasting time going to school." Kol replied, I pouted he clearly dodged the question.

"It's the normal human thing to do, if it doesn't work out then I could do some traveling. But I'm joining the coven also."

"You are so much stronger than those New Orleans Witches could even dream of.."Kol said, I snuggled deeper into my pillows and let out a sigh of content.

"Will you be with me?"

"Are you trying to get rid of me, Darling?" He asked, I rolled my eyes and climbed out of bed the sound of excited paws and rushed foot steps made me quickly grab a long T-shirt to cover up.

"That's not a no. And Bonnie's here." I replied, Kol looked up at the door and shrugged.

"She's talking to the blonde and is going to her room, come back to bed." He said, I scoffed and did as he asked.

"You are extremely dodgy." I stared up at him through my eyelashes. He let out a deep sigh and put both his arms behind his."But that's fine, now would be a great time to tell me more about the Occult exhibit."

"It was boring, nothing worth sharing."

"Right." I hummed not really buying it. Kol was taking an awful lot of time deliberating on Shane. I was starting to feel like I'd come to the wrong Mikealson about it." Any idea of when Rebekah will be back?"

"That is between you & Nik." Kol replied, shrugging. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my phone from my nightstand. I wasted no time dialing Klaus's number. He however took his sweet time picking up.

"Klaus."

"Alicia what do you want today?" Klaus asked, sounding annoyed. I rolled my eyes partially curious how he knew I wanted something.

"Funny you ask that."

"Why do I sense it's not actually going to be funny?" Klaus replied, I glanced over at Kol who was holding back a laugh.

"When are you going to undagger Rebekah?"

"After we've found the cure." He replied without even thinking about it.

"Wouldn't she be more helpful to us in getting it?" I asked, I knew she was. An extra set of unkillable hands were definitely always needed.

"No. Rebekah will remain where she is."

"But Klaus!" I whined he immediately shushed me.

"No." And without another word, he hung up. I pulled the phone away from my ear and stared at it in shock."You knew that would happen."

"I told you it was between you & Nik for a reason." He replied with a small smile clearly amused over my disappointment.

"But you know where she is." I pointed out, and Kol's smile dropped completely from his face."Tell me and I'll go get her, Klaus won't know you had anything to do with it."

"I rather she lay in a box than I." Kol snorted. I narrowed my eyes at him and scrolled through my contacts. I made sure to hover over Elijah's name before I showed the phone to Kol.

"Okay. I'm gonna have to bring out the big guns."

"You bring Elijah back at your own risk, I'm sure he's already aware of Nik's plans."Kol replied, I raised an eyebrow. Surely Elijah wouldn't be okay with a dagger being in his sister's heart for nothing.

"I hate dealing with you people." I scoffed climbing out of bed.

"Where are you going now?" Kol groaned watching me move around the room. I grabbed a change of clothes and wordlessly climbed into the shower.

I got out and quickly got dressed, Kol didn't have to assist in my free Rebekah plan but I knew somebody who would.

"You're gonna go undagger Bekah anyway aren't you?" Kol asked when I emerged from the bathroom fully dressed.

"I'm gonna go stop by Tyler's and hang out for a bit that's all."

"The mutt? Didn't you briefly date him?" Kol asked, scrunching up his face.

"I'm looking for Tiana, the hybrids tend to hang out there if Klaus doesn't need them. And he next to never needs her. Plus Miss Mystic set up. " I replied, it was a small lie. If Tiana was one of the few unsired bonded Hybrids then she most likely would be with Tyler & Hayley. Despite the outcome the other Hybrid received from it.

Being one of Klaus' hybrids, Tiana most likely knew where Rebekah was. But I also didn't want to be the reason she died.

It was a tricky situation, but I'd figure out something.

"What am I do to all day while you run around with Nik's play things?" Kol asked exasperatedly.

"Whatever your black heart desires." I grinned scooping my phone up from beside him. I ruffled his hair a bit and ignored the glare he sent me."Stay here, I'll be back before you know it."

"Unless my brother kills you."

"Then he'd have to find another witch, and the only other witch in town would kill him for that." I shrugged heading out the door. I noticed Rudy was sitting patiently by the door and frowned, without even needing to prompt him he bolted into my room and hopped into bed with Kol.

I grabbed my keys from the bowl by the door and went outside. I shot Tiana a text to meet me at Tyler's, they were about to start setting up for Miss Mystic and I'm sure she was already there anyways.

I parked behind the many cars in Tyler's driveway, it was a bit inconvenient but whatever I expected it anyway.

It would be extremely hard to avoid Elena & Caroline who would no doubt be looking for me since I never confirmed I wasn't coming.

I still really didn't plan on lifting a finger for the set up. I ventured all through the house as stealthy as possible but there wasn't any sign of Tyler or Hayley. Tiana was a lot harder to find than she should've been also.

I'd nearly ran into Caroline at every turn and it was starting to frustrate me.

"Hiding from the reigning Queen?" Klaus called from behind me. I spun on my heel and shushed him, Caroline literally had vampire hearing. If he sold me out this way, I'd definitely have grounds for getting even.

"I'm not setting up shit, I'm just looking for Tiana." I replied cautiously, glancing over my shoulder.

"She did mention to me you wanted to see her." Klaus replied he moved closer to me and whispered into my ear."She doesn't know where Rebekah is so don't bother."

"Just show me where my friend is." I scoffed unfazed, Klaus stepped away from me and pointed out the door. "Backyard, of course."

I quickly and quietly got out of the house, Tiana was sitting off at a bench far away from everybody else. The poor girl looked lost in her thoughts.

"Hey." I whispered softly. She pulled her eyes from the ground and looked up at me. Her big brown eyes were full of sadness."How are you?"

"I'm okay, I died once." She replied, obviously she did. I just wasn't sure where exactly she was going with this."So I sorta know what to expect, but I don't know how to handle someone else dying."

"Everyone handles things differently." I said after a brief pause, my method of coping was horrible and the last thing Tiana needed."I kinda stop caring about others around me and I force myself into relationships I probably wouldn't have jumped into if I wasn't grieving."

"You dated the second Hybrid to exist and are involved with an Original Vampire. It can't be that bad." She scoffed, I let out a snort and put my arm around the younger girl.

"Oh it's not, but the only good thing we can take away from this is, Chris is in a better place. He doesn't have to take orders from anybody, he's free to find peace."

"I don't think peace is really for our kinds." Tiana replied leaning her head onto my shoulder."Maybe you witches but us? We have to kill to survive and that's severely frowned upon."

"I've killed, plenty of witches have. This whole supernatural thing is kinda like the food chain, most of us have to kill to survive or else we'll be killed."

"I miss being normal." Tiana sighed, I stood up from the bench and held my hand out to her.

"Fuck being normal, normal is boring. You are one of the most powerful creatures to ever exist, embrace it." I said, Tiana took my hand and stood up. I turned and motioned to Tyler's house behind us."I want you to come tomorrow, and then I want you to leave town."

"But Klaus."

"I'm looking out for you, I'll tell him I'll abandon my quest to undagger Rebekah if you are granted your freedom." I offered, Tiana stared at me hard for a second.

"You'd do that for me?"

"I happen to really like you, and I'm sure Rebekah would understand." I replied shrugging. I really did miss Rebekah but it wasn't lost on me the part Tiana played in yesterdays fuck up with Elena. She may have dodged a bullet but she would only be able to dodge so many.

"I'm sorry I didn't listen to you."

"It's fine, I'm just happy you're still here. Now do me a favor?" I replied, Tiana scrunched up her face and scoffed.

"What is it?"

"Just run me to my car. Caroline is 9 seconds away from finding me." I said, the younger girl snickered and grabbed my arm running me back around the front."Thank you, now go have fun."

"I will."

Tiana rushed off as I climbed inside my car, I was proud of my job well done of not getting caught. I backed my car out the driveway and headed back home, hopefully Kol stayed put. And hopefully Klaus was willing to go along with my deal of letting Tiana go.

I parked my car in front of my house, and pulled out my phone. I dialed Klaus' number once again and was relieved when he picked up a lot sooner than earlier.

"Twice in one day." Klaus purred, although now he sounded like he was in a much better mood.

"Come to my house, I have an idea." I replied hanging up. That was a bad idea but I also didn't expect Klaus to really question too much. I went onto my porch and sat down on the chair, I never mentioned how urgent things were so Klaus might just immediately come here.

"You summoned me little witch?" Klaus cooed leaning against the banister." What is this idea of yours?"

"It's more of a deal." I replied, Klaus cocked his chin intrigued."I won't try to undagger Rebekah if you grant Tiana her freedom, this town will get her killed."

"That's it? Deal." He replied without even needing to think about it."Although I do wonder what it is about that girl that you guys keep bartering for her."

"Who else?"

"Caroline." Klaus replied I raised an eyebrow, I hadn't heard about this or why Caroline would even care about the girl.

"What did she ask for?"

"A hybrid's life, in return I'm her date tomorrow." He grinned cheekily, I stared at him for a second alarmed. Caroline willingly had him allow one of his hybrids to be slaughtered for a date?

"Why did you do that?" I was confused, Hybrids were a dying breed and not too many existed. A date with Caroline wasn't worth that."Scratch that, you never told me what the hell happened with Elena."

"Young Jeremy was a potential hunter, by killing Chris he began his own hunter's mark." Klaus explained, I blinked shocked.

"What the fuck."

"Pass Kol my regards, I can hear him upstairs playing with that mutt of yours." Klaus said before rushing off. I stared where he once was still in shock about what I'd just learned. I shook it off and pushed open my front door, when I placed my keys down in the bowl I noticed Bonnie's were gone.

I made my way up the steps and to my bedroom, when I opened the door. Kol had Rudy laying across his lap while he watched Superbad. I snapped a picture on my phone quickly and climbed into bed with him.

"Where's Bonnie?"

"Went to meet the professor. He's apparently judging the pageant tomorrow." Kol replied, willing his eyes away from the TV.

"Huh? And that's not weird?" I asked, kicking my shoes off and petting Rudy on the head.

—-

I woke up early the next morning, I had to go get my hair and nails done and pick up our clothes from Klaus's.

I had my curly hair pressed all the way straight for once, got my nails painted black with tiny silver stones. I did my make up natural looking and paired it off with a pink lip.

When the two of us were dressed we looked absolutely amazing. I couldn't help but wish he'd been the one I went with last year instead of Tyler.

"What's on your mind, Love?" Kol asked, I snapped my eyes away from his tie, I'd been tying and looked up at him. A sly smile sat on his lips.

"Just thinking how great you look, and how I might've won last year if you were here." I replied with a shrug. I took a step back from him and looked over him again." You sure you wanna do this? It's very human and below you."

"It's something you want to do." He shrugged, I grinned at him out of his thoughtfulness."It'll give you the opportunity to question the professor with me present also."

"Touché." I replied grabbing my clutch. The two of us headed downstairs, Kol grabbed my car keys before I even got the chance to enter the living room. I playfully rolled my eyes and headed to the kitchen, my Dad had been kind enough to get a doggy door installed so Rudy could come and go as he pleased. I filled up his bowls before Kol & I headed outside. He opened up my door for me and I climbed inside the car, a second passed before he climbed into the driver's seat.

"Do you have an idea of exactly what you wish to get out of the Professor?" Kol asked after a moment of silence. I had plenty of questions, what exactly was he so interested in about Bonnie.

"His fascination with Bennett witches." I replied with a slight eye roll."You wouldn't happen to have any insight on that though would you?"

"You come from one of the most important bloodlines, only an imbecile wouldn't be fascinated in you." He said shaking his head."You need to learn more of your history."

"I know every major event one of my ancestors were behind. I think that's enough." I replied with a shrug."Elijah mentioned one of my ancestors was your mother's mentor. So technically Bennetts helped make you guys without helping."

"Ayanna, she was firmly against what mother did." Kol said his eyes glazed over momentarily as if he wasn't really there with me for a second." She helped us as best as she could but there was only so much she could do."

"As a servant of nature she couldn't do much." I replied sadly."I'm sure she tried to intervene."

"She did, mother wouldn't listen to her though. Alas it's in the past, nothing we can do to change it."

"Would you be interested in taking the cure?" I asked, it looked like Kol held his breath for a moment before he let out a chuckle.

"I would do anything to experience the feeling of magic again but I happen to like being immortal."

"You as a witch would probably be scary with your knowledge and the grimoires you own." I shuddered thinking about the damage Kol could do if he owned even a slither of magic.

"That's why I'm going to teach you everything I know." Kol replied, I stared at him gratefully. Although I saw myself as powerful I knew I could be so much more.

"Have I told you, you might be my favorite Original?"

When we pulled up at the Lockwood's mansion, Kol & I immediately separated. I'd run into Caroline & Elena and he couldn't careless about the girlie conversations.

"No way." Caroline scoffed looking me over."You skip out on helping but show up this beautiful?"

"I was busy." I replied awkwardly, I rocked back and forth on my heels and grinned. Caroline snorted while Elena looked as awkward as I'd made my voice sound.

"Not mad anymore, Kol is kinda cute." Caroline replied, the two of us giggled while Elena pushed her lips together.

"So what's so bad about Damon but you're okay with Kol? Kol is one of them." Elena said, shaking her head. I raised an eyebrow why was she defending Damon right now. Shouldn't she be worried about Stefan?

"You're dating the Ripper of Monterey." I pointed out, Elena awkwardly shifted from side to side and let out a deep breath." And I love Damon, but be mindful of what exactly he did to Caroline. Alaric? My mom? Bonnie? I understand how he ticks so I'm not holding a grudge but Kol hasn't done anything to us except break Matt's arm and snap Damon's neck."

"He pretended to be Jeremy's friend, and has some sort of freaky magical hold on you." Elena argued. Caroline & I looked at each other." You guys wouldn't understand."

"Uh excuse me." We heard a voice behind us, I sighed in relief seeing it was Shane." I'm a little lost, I'm here to interview contestants."

"You're professor Shane." Elena replied, Shane nodded.

"Inside in the Parlor." Caroline replied almost as if she sensed my immediate discomfort.

"Thanks." He replied heading inside. Caroline shot me a look and I nodded. Almost as if she was starting to think something was weird about the little guy.

"He's the one who told Damon how to break the hunter's curse." Elena said, I stared where Shane disappeared to. How would he know that?

"He's also the one who has Bonnie so obsessed with practicing magic she bailed on pageant prep. At Least Alicia was getting her freak on." Caroline scoffed.

"And now he's the pageant judge. Pretty creepy if you ask me." I commented, shaking my head."So who are we hoping to win?"

"April." Caroline said, I nodded as the three of us headed inside and up the stairs. It felt like only yesterday when I was roaming the halls of the place half naked. I stared at Caroline. It must be awkward for her, I hadn't gotten the chance to ask about Tyler but if Klaus was right and Hayley looked the way she did …. Man. That had to suck.

Caroline knocked on a door and then opened it up, April was standing inside holding up two dresses wearing a rob.

"Thank god! Help me blue or red." April cried out holding both dresses out to us, the blue was cute but the red dress. The red dress was absolutely perfect.

"Blue." Elena & Caroline answered at the same time, April turned to me expectantly.

"Red." I replied she smiled at me and turned the red one toward herself to look at it again.

"The blue seems a bit safe." She replied.

"Safe is good with the judges." Elena said, she was right but at the same time it was better to stand out also. Although the red dress was a different style than the dress I'd chosen last year it reminded me a bit of it, the way it walked the line between being sexy and tasteful.

"She's right. Gracie Lockwood had a 3 foot slit in her year and practically got laughed off the court." Caroline said. The four of us couldn't help but laugh, we all loved Tyler but absolutely hated his older cousin with a burning passion.

"She's got my vote." Damon commented walking into the room, Caroline & I turned on our heel he shouldn't be in here.

"Get out, lurker." Caroline sneered, I snorted at the bluntness of it.

"Ouch, where's Professor Shane?"

"Check the judges table." I replied, he pointed at me and smirked. He took one look at April's dresses and nodded.

"The red."

"We've agreed that the red is a bit too showy." Caroline argued. I sighed thinking Caroline was about to take this opportunity to argue.

"It's a pageant that's the whole point." Damon argued which he definitely had a point. You have to stand out to win, if you blend in then you'll be overlooked.

"Did you win Miss Mystic Falls last year? No I don't think you did." Caroline scoffed, I raised an eyebrow that was a weird argument. If that was the case than Elena & my opinions didn't really matter.

"Neither did Elena and she wore blue." Damon commented, I glanced at Elena who looked like she was heavily considering what Damon was saying. And I didn't blame her. He had a way with words and that red dress was pretty.

"Nobody cares what you think."

"I care!" April said still holding the two dresses in her hand, although you could tell she was cradling the red dress a bit more than the blue.

"See April cares, and Alicia already picked the red. Red, right Elena?" Damon asked turning to Elena.

"The red is pretty."

"And my work here is done." Damon dramatically dusted his hands off before turning and walking away.

"Uh? What happened to 30 seconds ago when you hated red? What happened to safe is good?" Caroline asked, I winced and tip toed out the room. I was completely uninterested on the impending argument the two of them were about to have.

I rather go find Kol and be entertained than have to ref the two of them fighting. I wasn't trying to seek him straight out so I walked around for a bit, helped myself to a drink and headed outside.

I nearly dropped my glass and did a double take when I spotted Hayley and Tyler arriving together. The brunette went straight for the crown and tried it on. I rolled my eyes leave it to the out of towner to do that, I didn't even try on Caroline's crown and that is my friend.

When I strolled over Hayley jumped a bit and put the crown back onto its pillow.

"We haven't properly met." I plastered a fake smile on my face."I'm Alicia."

"Hayley." She replied looking disinterested. The more I looked at her, the more I knew the girl would be nothing but trouble.

"You should be careful with touching things, wouldn't want to give the girls fleas." I replied, Tyler rolled his eyes and placed his hand on Hayley's arm. It annoyed me but not because I was jealous, because it felt highly disrespectful to Caroline.

"Yeah, I don't wanna catch bitch."

"Damn you might wanna ease up off of Tyler then. He's caught plenty of it from me." I smiled, flipped my hair and walked off. Was it childish of me? Fuck yeah. Would I do it again? Fuck yeah.

Caroline was announcing the girls, they'd each come out one by one and April was the most breathtaking.

"They're highly fortunate you didn't enter." Kol said coming up behind me. I turned and grinned because of course I thought the same thing.

"Oh yeah, but it looks like April's got it in the bag." I replied. It looked like the poor girl got abandoned for a moment shades of last year when Stefan bailed but Matt stepped in for her. Hopefully Caroline could keep her from being disqualified like Elena.

"When did you want to make your move?" Kol asked, the two of us pulled our eyes away from April to Shane who sat with the other judges.

"Soon as it ends, no reason to pull his vote away from April." I shrugged, I looked from Shane to Klaus and Tiana, Klaus was staring fondly at Caroline while Tiana stood uncomfortably beside him. I waved her over and she sighed in relief before pointing at me. Klaus sent her a nod and the Hybrid made her way through the crowd.

"The fact you managed to bond with the girl is very telling of your character." Kol commented, Tiana rolled her eyes as she came to a stop in front of me.

"Her name is Tiana, and she's a sweetheart. She's honestly the last person Klaus should've made a hybrid." I replied giving her a hug."Did you decide where you were gonna go?"

"My families back in Philly so I'm gonna go there for a while, but Klaus gave me one last job."

"And that is?" I asked getting annoyed, I'd bargained for her freedom and he had the audacity to ask for something else of her after the fact.

"He wants me to meet you in New Orleans when you leave. If I decide to stay is up to me, he just wants someone there looking out for you." She replied my frown immediately softened. Kol & I looked at each other for a moment almost as if we both were skeptical.

"Kol's coming with me."

"Doesn't mean I can't watch from the light while he watches from the shadows." She replied with a smile. I pulled her into another hug.

"When do you leave?"

"I just came to see you, I'm leaving straight from here." She replied pulling away from the hug."Klaus bought me a plane ticket and gave me enough money that my family won't want for anything."

"Take care of yourself. I better see you in a few months." I smiled, she gave me a smile back and walked away quickly vanishing in the crowd.

"I don't know how you did it, but you seem to have Nik wrapped around your little finger." Kol snorted, I scoffed and shook my head. Klaus held his glass up to me and smiled, I waved at him as he sipped it.

"I think all he really needed was a friend, I want to set him on fire most days but he's actually pretty chill when he gets his way." I shrugged, I grabbed Kol's hand and led him inside the house. I wanted privacy when I cornered Shane so I picked out a room nobody would go into.

I made sure to cast a silencing spell and the two of us sat down on the couch and waited, I sent Caroline a text telling her to direct Shane to the north wing of the house and that his pageant expertise would be needed on his first break.

"So tell me about expression." I asked, Kol raised an eyebrow at me."I'm just curious about it, I have no interest in trying."

"It draws on dark magic so malicious most witches don't discredit it as magic, I'll teach you Kemiya." He replied I grinned cheekily at him because that was something I already knew.

"I actually learned a bit with the quarter witches."

"And who do you think taught them?" Kol grinned just as cheekily at me. I rolled my eyes and leaned on his shoulder staring up at him fondly.

"You Mikealson's are full of surprises." I replied, the door opened up and Shane stumbled in awkwardly. He took one look at Kol and I and turned to leave but I used my magic to pull him away from the door and then slam it shut.

"Alicia, what's up?" He asked nervously. He looked away from me to Kol and had this weird nervous yet excited look on his face."Kol Mikealson, you're one of the original vampires."

"I've got three more of those." I shrugged."I want to know what your obsession with my sister is." I stood up from the chair and stalked around Shane he wisely kept his eyes glued to Kol.

"I just want to help her get her magic back."

"That sounds like bullshit to me." I replied leaning against the door, I nonchalantly picked at my nails."Honestly when you said you knew about my Gramms was what gave you away, she'd never tell you about herself let alone us."

"But she did. I was a believer she felt comfortable with me." He argued.

"Yeah no, if there's anybody who knows that's bullshit it's me. So tell me everything." I smirked Shane opened his mouth preparing to argue but I held my hand up." And if you think about lying to me between the two of us we can make it really hurt."

"You'd do better to listen to her, Alicia can be pretty nasty when she's angry." Kol said never moving from the couch.

"You wouldn't hurt me, Bonnie would hate you." Shane challenged, I snorted and focused on his arm.

"Incendia."

Shane jumped and violently swiped at his arm as the flames burned the forearm of his jacket.

"Stop! Stop!" He yelped. I dropped the spell and he clutched his arm fearful.

"Bonnie doesn't need you, Kol knows more about magic than you ever could."

"That may be true, but you're gonna need me. How else are you guys gonna know how to find the cure?" Shane stupidly uttered, Kol stood up from the couch and now stood directly in front of Shane.

"Since you've brought it up, you've gotta tell us now." I replied.

"Where's the cure?" Kol asked, he attempted to compel Shane but the dude just giggled.

"Oh that doesn't work."

"God you're a dickhead." I shook my head."You do realize he's gonna torture you now."

"It's more fun to do things the hard way anyway." Kol shrugged and rolled up his sleeves, I cringed as he snatched Shane up by the collar and slammed him against the wall.

"Where's the cure Shane?" I asked again when he didn't answer Kol slammed him against the wall harder, I winced when I watched his head bounce off the wall.

He stared defiantly at me, almost as if he didn't really think I'd let Kol actually bludgeon him to death.

"Alicia asked you a question." Kol said in the blink of an eye, grabbing Shane's hand and snapping his wrist. Shane let out a yelp as Kol squeezed the injured limb.

"You can have the cure." Shane whimpered, Kol let go off his wrist and went back to holding Shane by the collar."I just want Silas."

"What did you say?" Kol asked I moved a bit closer taken a back by how shocked he sounded."What do you know about Silas?"

"He's the world's first immortal being who just happens to be imprisoned with the cure." Shane said smuggly, before I could even react Kol snapped his neck.

"Why did you do that?" I jumped as he let Shane's body fall to the floor.

"He wanted to raise Silas. Silas will be the end of us . He had to die." Kol replied, running his fingers through his hair.

"Who is Silas?"

"You know who Quetsiyah is but you don't know Silas? She created the immortality spell and Silas took it, he cannot be awakened." Kol replied he grabbed Shane by the foot as if he didn't weigh anything and tossed him over his shoulder.

"I believe you. Just get rid of him." I replied, moving away from the door and giving Kol freedom to leave. He disappeared in the blink of an eye and I sighed, pulled myself back together and walked out of the room.

I pulled out my phone and called Bonnie, there was no use in allowing Bonnie to stress and think Shane abandoned her. I intended on fully it telling her my part in this before she had to find out some other way.

I strolled outside to my car and frowned when I remembered Kol still had the keys. I leaned against the car just as Bonnie answered.

"Bonnie where are you?" I asked staring back at the Mansion and frowning.

"I'm home now, why?" She asked I could hear Rudy's collar jingling in the background.

"I just need to talk to you about something." I replied, running my fingers through my hair. I hated wearing it straight because I felt less inclined to just leave it alone than I did when I left it natural.

"Okay. I'll be here how'd it go? Who won?" Bonnie asked I scratched my head and looked around. I had zero idea.

"I'm not really sure I got side tracked but we'll talk when I get home."

"Okay."

The two of us hung up, I sent Kol a text telling him he's got my keys and flopped on the hood of my car and closed my eyes.

"Car trouble?" Tyler asked, I opened my eyes and leaned up frowning.

"My boyfriend ran off with the keys." I shrugged, making sure to put extra venom onto the boyfriend word."Shouldn't you be with your trailer trash?"

"Alicia. Hayley isn't that bad." Tyler defended. I snorted rolling my eyes.

"You cheated on my friend."

"It's not like that." Tyler defended, he leaned closer to me his lips practically grazed my ear."We're not dating it just needs to look that way to keep Klaus from knowing what we're doing."

"And why would you tell me?" I asked pushing him away from me. I was still pissed off about that woods stunt from the other day.

"Because you still care about me, the last thing you'd do is hurt me." Tyler replied, I scoffed and slid off the hood of my car.

"Funny because I thought the same thing about you."

"You moved on, you're past that." Tyler mentioned. I rolled my eyes for him to even try and tell me what I was feeling.

"Am I interrupting something?" Kol asked, Tyler stepped away from me and glared at him. I raised my eyebrow when I noticed they both did the whole puffed out chest alpha male thing.

"Nope. Ready?" I asked pushing past Tyler, Kol strolled around and opened the passenger seat for me before climbing into the drivers seat. Tyler rubbed his jaw and stared at us as Kol backed out the driveway before storming off inside his house.

"Anything I should know about?" Kol asked eerily calm, he was jealous and didn't need to be. I was seeing Tyler for the disgusting dude everybody thought he was.

"Nope."

And I hated that Tyler was right, because I wouldn't ever betray my friends' trust.
