When I got home I avoided talking to Bonnie about Shane, I just kinda told her about Tyler and Hayley to cover up what I originally planned on talking to her about.
In return she'd told me about how Caroline & Stefan think Elena is sirebonded to Damon. Which is an extremely rare thing.
But with the kind of luck Elena had and if both Caroline & Stefan suspected it then it was probably true.
Bonnie & I got dressed and headed to school together for once, it's been awhile since we both attended and I'm pretty sure when June comes we're all gonna get plenty "how did they pass" comments.
The two of us met up with Caroline by Elena's locker, something about the two wanting to question her to see if the sirebond was really real.
I could really care less about it. But whatever.
"Elena, hey is everything okay?" Bonnie asked as soon as the brunette joined us. I rolled my eyes and sunk back against the locker.
"Yeah. Why wouldn't it be?" Elena asked clearly confused why Bonnie would even ask her that. I was suddenly interested because either this would lead to drama or it would lead to nothing.
"Well Caroline told me you had to move out to stay away from Jeremy." Bonnie replied, I tilted my head, definitely intrigued. I take it this had something to do with them making Jeremy kill Chris.
"Matt is staying at the house with him so he isn't alone." Elena shrugged. I raised an eyebrow she was very lax about the whole thing, suddenly something caught my attention her usually bone straight hair looked pretty messy. And not just rolled out of bed messy.
"But are you?" Caroline challenged.
"Wherever you're staying clearly doesn't have a flat iron." I tacked on, Caroline pointed at me and scrunched up her face agreeing.
"Oh?" Elena said you could see the slight blush creep onto her cheeks. Kudus to her for getting laid."I was in a rush. Do you have any plans tonight? I could use some girl talk."
"I'm in Shane taught me some small spells I wanna try." Bonnie replied, I was happy Bonnie's back was turned toward me so she couldn't see how I winced at Shane's name.
"So creepy professor is just Shane now?" Caroline teased. Damn? So everybody seemed to think he was creepy except for Bonnie. How on brand.
"He's not creepy."
"Yes he is." Caroline & I say at the same time, we smile and high five while Bonnie scoffs.
"We're not judging." Elena replied, trying to save grace but it didn't matter. Dude was as dead as all our parental figures.
"We are." Caroline said pointedly.
"So girls night? We can raid the Salvatore wine cellar." Elena said once again trying to save things."You can even bring the dog."
"Are you sure Stefan & Damon want us crashing at their place?" Caroline asked, she seemed like she almost didn't want to have a slumber party not that I blamed her.
"Yeah it's basically my house too." Elena replied. I noticed her eyes follow something, but I intended on minding my business here."I'll catch up with you in a bit."
Elena walked off in the direction I noticed her eyes went, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket so I pulled it out.
Meet me at the car
"And that's my cue." I said waving to Bonnie & Caroline. Bonnie rolled her eyes and shook her head while Caroline sent me a wink.
Sometimes it felt like Caroline was more my twin than Bonnie. She knew exactly what I was going to do.
I headed out the front doors and through the parking lot, finding my car parked in its usual spot. Kol was leaning against it, a few random girls tried conversing with him but he seemed to sense me coming and paid them no mind.
"Scatter bitches." I grinned walking behind them and leaning beside Kol on my car. Once the girls realized exactly what they did the color drained from their faces and they scampered off."God I love being the mean one."
"You know my siblings and I tend to have the same effect?"
"Well yes, you can't be killed. I just beat enough bitches up in middle school that they know not to try me." I replied with a shrug. Kol let out a chuckle while I rolled my eyes.
"You can't fight."
"I could kick your ass without magic and you using none of your vampiric abilities." I replied, crossing my arms.
"I'll take you up on that later. I went to the Professors office." Kol said, I raised an eyebrow confused why he'd even do that."I took some things."
"Things like what?" I asked, he leaned off the car and made his way toward the trunk. I gulped and followed after him, he popped the trunk and a large old rock sat in the middle with a few piles of books beside it." A rock?"
"Quetsiyah's headstone." He replied closing the trunk a bit. I turned on my heel confused as hell.
"So was it actually it?"
"I want you to be the judge of that, it's said to be filled with your ancestors blood so you should be able to feel her magic." He explained he reached in his pocket and pulled out a talisman."You should be able to tell if this belonged to her also."
And just like with Emily's talisman, I felt drawn to it. I snatched the necklace from Kol's hand and clutched it close to my chest. It was somehow uglier than Emily's necklace but the power that radiated from it felt even stronger than any power I'd ever felt before.
"I take it that's a yes then Darling." Kol replied, I tore my eyes away from the necklace and nodded before slowly handing it back. I leaned into the truck and rubbed my hand along the stone.
"It's definitely magical." I commented after a moment, if Shane had this and her Talisman they probably definitely both belonged to her."What do you plan to do with it?"
"Hide them." He replied slamming the trunk shut, I watched dejectedly as he stuffed the talisman into his back pocket." It's better if these never fall into anybodys hands."
"I trust you."
"Great, now let's get out of here." Kol hummed opening up the passenger door for me. I slipped into it wordlessly, Kol went around to the drivers side of the car and jumped into it. I was highly surprised Kol had driven us to the old witch house.
"Why are we here?" I raised an eyebrow as he stopped the car, the two of us jumped out and he went straight to the trunk to reclaim the stone from the trunk.
"The witches hid my siblings and I, I'm sure they'll be happy to hide this." He replied pulling the stone out."I've also acquired the deed for the house and once you sign no vampires can enter."
"There's still the case of Bonnie."
"You'll cloak it, and the witches will cloak it extra. If this stone is the key to freeing Silas they won't want him being raised either."
"Point taken, you might wanna give me that though."I pointed at the stone, Kol gave me a look before nodding when I motioned to the house." Yeah from what I've seen they fried every vampires brain who came in or shut off their ring."
"I'm no ordinary vampire, it's known that I treat witches with the utmost respect." He replied, he attempted to put the stone into my hands but I almost instantly dropped it."You should do something about that."
"I'll start hitting the gym." I rolled my eyes as the two of us climbed the steps. Kol & I entered without a hitch and went straight down to the basement. He moved a shelf away from the wall and punched a hole into it with his free hand.
A few stray murmurs started around us but hushed as quickly as they started.
"I don't think they liked that." I commented as Kol sat the stone inside the hole. He moved to the side and held his arm out for me.
With more ease than I expected the stone went Invisible and the wall looked almost as if nothing happened to it. Kol pushed the shelve back into place and started up the stairs.
"You are aware I didn't do anything right?" I called after him as I jogged to keep up with him. Kol paused in the middle of the living room he fished around a bit in his pocket pulling out the talisman.
"That's okay darling, but I just realized the safest place for this is with you." He replied putting the necklace into my hands. The ghost of a smile crept onto my face as I stared at it for a moment.

I turned and nodded, I couldn't see her but I knew for a fact it was Emily.
"Always." I replied, Kol stared at me I shrugged when I turned back to him and walked out the house with the vampire following closely behind me." You know this could've waited until later, I didn't have to ditch school immediately."
"Perhaps I just couldn't go a whole day without you?"
I got to the bottom of the steps and turned throwing my arms around Kol immediately. For him to be the second most unstable Original after Klaus he had an immaculate sweet side to him.
"So what are we doing? I've gotta go to Elena's sleepover later cause Caroline will kill me if I don't." I replied pecking him on the lips.
"I've also taken a few grimores from the professor, we could look through them and I teach you a bit of kimbya?"
"That's sexy." I grinned as we pulled away from each other, Kol opened the passenger door for me as I took one last look at the old house. Once I signed the paperwork it would become mine and another safe haven for Bonnie & I.
I absentmindedly played with Quetsiyah's talisman the whole car ride. The amount of power that radiated from it was almost overwhelming in the wrong hands, it would be almost detrimental.
"I'm not making a mistake trusting you with that am I?" Kol asked briefly glancing at me. I swallowed and shook my head.
"No, but if Klaus finds out I have it."
"Then it should stay between us." He replied with a shrug, I nodded and slid it into my bra. I definitely intended on playing around with it before stashing it at Gramm's house out of sight out of mind.
The afternoon seemed to fly by. I was able to learn so much from Kol in the few hours we worked at it. If he were one day able to regain access to his magic he'd be a force to be reckoned with.
I was almost sad when it was time for me to go to the boarding house. I wasn't sure when I became that friend but having alone time with my boyfriend was much better than having friend time with my friends.
I stopped at the grill and grabbed something for Bonnie and I,since we were the only ones who needed to actually eat. I'm sure food was forgotten while Elena was doing whatever it is Elena does.
"The queen is here." I called out while kicking the door closed with my foot, my hands were full of food and I knew nobody was gonna move to actually help me. With a frustrated sigh I set the bags down on the table and followed the sound of music, I ended up finding everybody laying in Damon's bathroom. My eyes landed on the tub I could only imagine how many times that thing was filled with blood.
"Two out of three of you definitely heard me yelling." I commented leaning against the doorway, Bonnie jumped off the sink and zoomed over to me holding out her phone. She showed me a video of Elena running and dancing, she looked like she was having fun but they probably shouldnt keep that video for safety purposes.
"I look like superman." Elena commented with a giggle, I snorted it took alot for a vampire to get drunk and Elena definetly sounded like she was." This years christmas card, being a vampire is so weird. Oh my god, I love this bathtub. Why dont we hangout here more?"
I blinked at the random shifts in conversation; whatever Elena was on right now I think I wanted it."Because its not our house?"
"I'll tell you why, think of all the germ-ridden skanks Damon lured back to his den of iniquity." Caroline replied scrunching up her face. I raised an eyebrow because technically she was talking about herself also without realizing it."Okay. I'm sorry I've been good all night. I'm stopping now."
"Are you sure?" I asked staring at Caroline she rolled her eyes and shrugged neither Elena or Bonnie even noticed it which meant Caroline was definitely not going to stop.
"No don't stop on my account. It's only Damon rip away." Elena said I could tell she definitely was annoyed by it but wanted to act a bit cool about it.
"Well say what you want about Ripper Stefan but atleast he wasnt a man-slut." Caroline replied. It took alot to make me not be on Caroline's side but this was legit the dumbest shit she's ever said out of her mouth. I immediately threw my hands up into a T for a timeout.
"Are you really comparing a mass murderer to a dude screwing a bunch of women? I literally watched Stefan rip people apart and put them back together but Damon is a menace for handing out a few free nuts?"
"Alicia stay out of it." Bonnie mouthed to me, I threw my hands up in frustration anything Caroline said after that stupid ass statement was already null and void; Elena already won the argument in my mind.
"So what exactly was it about him that made you jump into bed with him as soon as you met him?" Elena spat. I cringed and grabbed Bonnie's arm pulling her close to me. If the two started fighting I needed to make sure Bonnie didn't get hurt by accident.
"I didn't know what a sociopathic narcissist he was."
"He's always been there for me when I needed him." Elena replied which was true, Damon would let all three of us die if it meant Elena got to live. It sucked and was the sad truth but he'd do anything for her.
"Yeah because he's hoping you'll sleep with him." Caroline said, I wasn't even sure if she was jumping down Elena's throat right now because she had her best interests at heart or if she was just upset about the whole thing.
"Well maybe I did."
I was across the room and high fiving Elena before anybody else could even react.
"You did what?" Caroline asked with her jaw dropped.
"You didn't."Bonnie said just as shocked. I looked between the two of them. Was I the only one not shocked? It was kinda obvious for awhile now there was some sort of connection there.
"Yeah I did. Look, I know you two have issues with him. But I'm happy and I wanted to spend tonight with my bestfriends so I can tell them about it." Elena replied shaking her head." I appreciate you for not judging." Elena gave me a small smile and stormed out the bathroom. Bonnie actually had the decency to look like she felt bad while Caroline just stared at the door Elena had just gone through.
"I'll talk to her, Bonnie talk to Caroline." I ordered walking out the bathroom and down the stairs. Elena was grabbing a trash bag and starting to clean up. The two of us cleaned in a comfortable silence for a bit.
"Thank you for not siding with them." Elena said with a sigh, she flopped down on the couch and ran her fingers through her hair.
"I'm not surprised it happened and neither should they be honestly. You literally almost killed me when I implied to you I slept with him. Plus he'd literally do anything for you."
"I did not almost kill you." Elena scoffed. "I don't know why you'd play like that."
"It distracted you didn't it?" I shrugged Elena rolled her eyes before smiling at me." Do what makes you happy. I'm literally dating Kol. I have no room to judge you."
"That is much worse than dating a man-whore isnt it?" She teased, I playfully rolled my eyes and snorted.
"I'm never taking your side again."
"Don't be like that." Elena laughed. I felt myself being grabbed around the neck an immediately started to struggling. I didn't know what was happening and lack of air meant lack of concentration which meant panic and no magic.
"I can easily kill her." A woman's voice said, I was struggling to stay conscious and had no idea who this even was. I ended up blacking out and hoping that whatever happened would get easily resolved because man if I died I'm gonna be pissed.
I woke up in a dirty as barn with Caroline chained up beside me, I rolled my eyes and tried to focus but my mind felt cluttered
"Why am I here?" I asked annoyed, I literally mind my own business constantly. Caroline let out a scream beside me as girl started to squeeze her wrist.
"Why are you doing this?" Caroline whimpered. I'm sure she was tired of being tortured this was like her 10th time for no real reason.
"To show Tyler who's in charge." She replied, I let out a loud snort.
"So you kidnap his ex and current girlfriend? You are aware my boyfriend will slaughter all of you without batting an eye right?"
"Shut up." She ordered swiftly kicking me in the face. I bit my bottom lip checking it for blood and nodded my head trying to ignore the fact that shit legit hurt.
"I just want you to know you fucked up." I smiled wickedly before licking some blood from my bottom lip. If she cracked my tooth I'm legit going to kill her.
Tyler & Elena barge into the room, the girl takes a slight step back from me and stands between Caroline and I.
"Stop it Kim, Caroline & Alicia are with us. We're all on the same team." Tyler said, I rolled my eyes that bitch isn't on my team.
"They are on your team, not mine." Kim replied, I hummed in agreement. Part of Tyler's pack or not, I'm gonna kill her as soon as my head stops pounding.
I grimaced as the rest of the pack entered the barn, a few of them immediately held back Tyler. A guy walked up to me and I frowned outside of Tiana, I didnt care to know anything about any of the hybrids.
The Hybrid kneeled down beside me and grabbed my jaw almost like he was inspecting my busted lip and probably broken nose.
"Ease up Kim." He let go of my chin and turned to face Kim."Klaus won't like this."
"That's a very good point." She grinned she pulled out a stake with her free hand. I immediately started pulling against the restraints surely she wasn't dumb enough to kill Caroline." Do you think he'll like this?"
"Bitch when my brain stops vibrating I'm gonna kill you." I threatened.
"Kim don't." Tyler orders and a literally light bulb goes off above Kim's head she shoved her stake into Caroline's chest just barely missing her heart and flashed toward me her fangs were inches away from my neck before I could even blink.
"I drink vervain everyday, take a sip." I taunted, I don't know if it was my closeness to the Mikealson's or the fact I was clearly in shock and running off adrenaline right now but taunting Kim felt like the smart thing to do.
"No! Wait torture me instead!" Elena cried out, I raised an eyebrow leave it to Elena to make it about her."If you want to hit Klaus where it hurts take me, he's fixated on keeping me alive. You want real revenge or not?"
Elena in a flash had Kim by the neck and was choking her, I was actually proud of her for that smooth bamboozle she was able to pull. However she wasn't stronger than a Hybrid and most likely was going to get bit.
Tyler broke out of the other hybrids grasp and snatched Kim away from Elena just before she could get bit. He plunged his hand into her chest while Elena scurried over to Caroline and pulled out the dagger. I gritted my teeth as the blonde whimpered in pain.
"I'll rip her heart out right now." Tyler threatened."Kim put you all at risk today, and I'm not gonna hurt her. I'm not Klaus. I don't kill and torture my own friends to get what I want. Now, we broke the sire bond, but if you want to be free, we have to work together. No one can step out of line. Now, you're either with me or you're against me. Submit. Submit, or you die."
The Hybrid who was helping Kim quickly untied me, I shot him a glare as I rubbed my wrist. I noticed the rest of the Hybrids slowly start to kneel. They were accepting Tyler as the alpha and I'm surprised that wasn't already the case with them. He was the first Hybrid well first Klaus turned and Klaus usually left him in charge anyway.
Caroline and I stopped at Tyler's to clean up and change. Neither of us wanted to walk around in bloody clothing especially in a town full of vampires.
I however had enough of girl time and had opted to go back home while the others went to finish hanging out at the boarding house. Tyler had healed me but I was still a bit salty I'd had my face broken.
I'm not sure if I'd always been easily tempted or if spending months with Klaus had made me less morale but I fully intended on killing Kim. Who's to say she wouldn't do something this stupid again.
I sat cross legged on my bed waiting for Kol to show up, I'd texted him as soon as I got home and knew he'd come straight here after he finished whatever it is he did when he was busy. I closed my eyes for a second and smiled when I felt the air shift beside me. I turned to face him and snorted when I noticed he mimicked my exact position.
"How was your ladies night?" He asked, I let out a scoff and his smile dropped immediately." What happened?"
"Well they got into an argument which is cool, but one of Klaus' hybrids decided she wanted to try and kill us. Broke my fucking nose." I hissed, I knew exactly what I was doing by telling Kol and I could careless. The pack will remember Tyler showed her mercy and thats all that mattered. Kim's death was Kim's own fault.
"I have an idea of which mutt." Kol said shaking his head, his demeanor was calm but if I hadn't spent as much time around him as I did I wouldn't have noticed the murderous intentions in his eyes."What do you want to do about it?"
"I get to choose?" I grinned, this was the very fucked up moment where I realized Kol Mikealson might actually be the one. The same mischievousness that danced across his face was also on mine.
Or we'd bring out the absolute worst in each other.
