Chapter 4 Meetings.

Well that's the 5 down. I thought covering the villain in capture foam. 2 Hours, and I'm free to go home! I thought to myself as I teleported to a roof. So apparently I'm also able to teleport using my portals, and air is a viable surface. Good to know! I shook my head, Not like it took me half a month to learn that tidbit, no sir! Welp anyways back to work- I could hear the sound of cloth moving as I was wrapped in some kind of white bandage. It's strong! I thought as I tested it. I could still break it if I used my strength enhancer quirks … probably?

I was turned around to face a scraggly man. He was wearing yellow googles, a completely black outfit, and a black, and grey toolbelt. "So you're the new vigilante huh?" Huh why does he think I'm a … makeshift outfit, check, no weapon check. Leaving after taking care of a villain. Check. I sighed Damn this is just stupid, wonder if I can beat him though? Probably yes? "I'm not a vigilante." I said "Ok then, show me your license." He replied. "My left pocket has my wallet, and hero identification, check it." he did, and undid his scarf the moment he verified my job.

"Huh, that so. Well sorry for the mix up." he said before trying to leave. "Wait, a minute." "What?" he stared at me a bit annoyed. "Can I have a bit of your DNA?" he frowned, "Why do you want my-?" "My quirk, it allows me to store copied of other peoples quirks, after ingesting their DNA." he nodded, and sighed. "Well here." he picked out a hair from his head, and I moved my mask as I ate it. "Thanks a lot …?" "Eraserhead. See you around Nexus." I nodded and watched as he went away. To be honest I didn't expect that getting a quirk like erasure would be this easy. I smiled. I don't even need to blink.

"Well time to get back to work." I said before trying teleporting to the middle of the sky. Wait did I call the police on that villain? Nah it's probably fine. I shook my head as I activated my float quirk. The ability to stay at any altitude even for 5 minutes is pretty great. I looked down at the city, using my enhanced senses to find crime.

-(1 hour, and 40 minutes later)

Seriously? I thought as I stared at the burning building when I'm almost done too. I sighed as I heard a couple other heroes arrive. Watalfa, a hero with the ability to create water falls. She'll probably be enough to handle this I thought as I stared at the bigger threat. SKREEEEE! a giant screech resounded in the area.

What's that? I looked at the source of the sound again, it was a person with some sort of lizard quirk, they were also breathing fire. A dragon? The dragon had a black tongue, no hair, and red scales covered their entire body. they had 4 limbs, but its arms also counted as wings. A wyvern then. they were also 5 Meters tall. Well what quirks can I use to deal with them.

I jumped up and floated. "Hey Fugly!" I yelled at the wyvern, as they looked in my direction. I flipped him off. "Fuck you you ugly son of a bitch, I was almost done with my shift you fucking prick!" they roared at me, and spewed a fireball from its mouth, I opened a portal infront of, and one behind it. they flew up, but I just created another portal in their trajectory, making them come face to face with its own attack.

BOOM! The attack connected, and the red lizard screeched. "Shut up already, You're messing up my ears!" I said to provoke it, Success the idiot flew towards me. Heh I opened a portal in front of it, and a portal above the ground. THWACK it hit the ground Hard and got knocked out. That entire fight took less than 5 minutes, and incurred no injuries. Overall it's a success. I heard a few cheers as I realized that I was surrounded by civilians. I'm being recorded? Well I guess that was my debut. Pretty good one I'd say I teleported to a roof, and called the police to collect the villain. Wonder why he had a black tongue? I questioned. Probably for heat resistance.

-(15 minutes later)[Izukus PoV]

"Mornin'" Mr. Cain said. "M-Morning" I replied. "Hungry?" I nodded a little sleepy. "Alright, go watch some TV While I make some breakfast ok?" "Ok." I said before moving to the living room, and sitting down on the couch. I tried to look at the kitchen from here, to no success. He won't hurt me if the TV Turns on too loud right. I shook my head. No! He wouldn't do that he's nicer than the other homes. I shook in fear. But what if he's just acting? I hugged myself as I stared at the black screen. I miss you mom, dad I cried a little before sleeping again.

-(10 minutes later)[Cains PoV]

I shook Izuku awake. Guess I underestimated how sleepy he was. I thought. "Breakfast is ready hun, If you don't get up tt'll get cold." I told him as he rubbed his eyes. I still can't get over how cute he is. I smiled and ruffled his hair. And he flinched away. My smile twitched as the boy sat properly. I ve said it once, and I'll say it again I'll kill those fuckers.

I sat down next to my child as I turned on the Tv, He likes heroes right? I thought as I turned on Quirk News. A channel for news about heroes. He'll love it … I hope. I shook my head and watched along with what was happening on the TV.

-is New Underground hero. Or should I say Metal hero. Has recently made his first big fight. Now what do you think about the fight Micheal?" I watched my fight be live streamed on the Television, with both new reporters Talking about how I could've done better. Some of those are pretty good tricks, while the others are just complete garbage. I noted the useful advice in a txt document.

"he's so cool!" I heard my kid whisper as he watched my fight on the screen. He apparently keeps a notebook with him under the blanket too. Quirk analysis. Ah it's those notebooks huh. I smiled as I watched Izu write down notes about my quirk, and adding comments about the portals. Man wonder how he'll react when he learns I am Nexus I chuckled silently at the thought.

-(15 minutes Later){Park}

I watched silently as my kid was playing with the slides, before a brown haired man, with spiky hair, and a mustache sat beside me. "Hello." I said simply. "Hello." we sat in silence for a few moments. "So, which one is your kid." he asked "I'm still choosing." he choked on his soda for a second and I smiled. "It's the green haired one with freckles." I said as he managed to get the liquid out of his throat.

"Izuku?" he said surprise. "How do you know him?" I frowned as I stared at him. "Woah Calm down, His parents were friends with us." he said before looking at the playground. "That's my boy there, His name is Katsuki Bakugo." "What's your Name?" I asked him. "Masaru Bakugo." I nodded in realization. "Well why didn't you take him?" I asked as he looked at his feet.

"We tried, but for some reason he didn't want to go with us." I nodded. He was probably scared of katsuki. "Where is your wife?" he looked at me for a moment. "At home, She's sick." "Ok then. Do you want to talk to him?" he nodded and I called my son over.

"What is it Mr. Cain" I could feel Masarus questioning gaze as he looked at me. "Well Mr. Bakugo here said he knew you, do you want to catch up with him." the boy looked like a deer caught in head lights before he nodded so I lifted him on my lap.

"So how have you been little guy." Masaru pet the boys head and he flinched. He looked at me in anger for a moment before continuing his conversation with my son. "Is he hurting you?" he asked and Izuku looked at me for a moment before shaking his head. "I've been with Mr. Cain for 2 days and he is the best!" he smiled and Masaru sighed in relief before looking at me apologetically. He opened his mouth but I beat him to it "Don't apologize I would've done the same thing." he nodded as he continued his conversation with Izuku.

"Where's aunt Mitsuki?" "She's really sick right now so she couldn't come with us."

"How's Kachaan?" "Katsuki's doing just fine."

Izuku asked a lot of questions before he was satisfied. "Can we go to the swings Mr. Cain." "Let's say goodbye to Mr. Bakugo first." we exchanged numbers and izuku said goodbye before we played for the rest of our time in the park.
