Three days later, he discovered that another Dragon Ball was located in Aru village, but the place turned out to be deserted. However, while the two were looking around, an elderly man, Sherman Priest, used an axe on Kara as a form of self-defense which caused it to chatter. He revealed that the reason they were hiding was because there was a shapeshifting demon named Oolong who kidnapped little girls. Meanwhile, Kara was amazed to see females apart from herself for the first time.
Like the original, Kara disguised herself as Pocawatha but this time, she was captured by oolong since she was distracted from urinating. Luckily, Kara was able to break free and attack the monster, which knocked him unconscious. After a few minutes, the demon reverts to his default pig form. When Oolong woke up, he was mortified to see the angry scowls of the villagers and by the fact that he was beaten by a child. Anyhow, he was forced to show where his victims were held captive, which turned out to be a mansion. Thanks to Kara's heroic actions, Boxers was finally able to get the Dragon Ball. However, since he never had an interaction with Oolong, he did not force him to come with them. Plus, his traveling buddy is a young girl.
Once Kara and Boxers landed on Diablo Desert, the blue-haired boy decided to use one of the capsules but realized that he had dropped the case into the river. So the two had no choice but to walk. Unfortunately, while Boxers was sleeping, Yamcha and Puar came up to Kara. Since Boxers is not a woman, Yamcha does not get distracted as he injures Kara. As he was about to take the money, Boxers came up by, screaming at him for attempted robbery. Which led to Yamcha knocking him down.
The next morning, the two regain consciousness again. Anger filled Boxers' head as he wanted to take revenge on Yamcha. He also scolds Kara for deciding to "give up" defeating him. She explains to him that she doesn't have any energy when she's hungry. She decided to hunt so she could get breakfast. Meanwhile, in Yamcha's Hideout, he was stalking Kara and Boxers again, this time, he has learned about the dragon balls. This made him feel optimistic about stealing them and how he would finally end his girl phobia. When he and Puar arrived, Boxers was horrified and disgusted. As he screamed and verbally abused him. This irritated Yamcha and he knocks him down on the head. Kara's eyes spark with fury as she challenges the bandit to a fight. Yamcha smirks and thinks that this wouldn't be a challenge. However, since Kara has gotten enough energy from the food she's eaten. She was able to defeat him easily by punching him in the mouth, which caused him to lose a tooth. Yamcha was mortified by the fact that he was beaten by a little girl.
