Chapter 1: The Stranger

7 AM, June 29th, 1841

Arendelle Woods

He was tasked with finding the source of the disturbance which had appeared just as suddenly as it disappeared. On the crisp morning of the 29th of June, the young soldier with dark brown hair and a handsome face was sent by order or his captain to investigate the sudden storm that originated only in the heart of the woodlands. The storm had appeared right as the sun was rising and had then disappeared mere seconds after its appearance. The oddity of the situation did not end there as the storm had only appeared over the region that was home ot the legend of the trolls. No one ever saw them and thus they were passed off as folk tales by the people of Arendelle and the surrounding countries that shared its borders. As he travelled through the woods, his boots crunched on the leaves that had fallen from the trees, a testament to the disturbance caused by the sudden and mysterious storm. He pulled out his map and used his finger to trace where he was and found that the storm's location should be just a few feet directly ahead. His lips curled up into a smile as he thought of the wonderful company of his wife that he would soon be able to return to after the mission's completion. Far sooner than he thought he would need to spend on this small mission. He went around the bend and froze. In front of him lay a crater that looked as if an Earth Giant had smashed into it and left its mark. He looked closer and suddenly realized what appeared to be a person lying on their back in the middle of the crater. The stranger had bluish black hair that looked untamed yet elegant. The spiky locks on both sides of his closed eyes frame his face that is home to a sharp chin and a youthful but pale face. The blood under the body that seems to leak out of one side of the stranger was what ultimately drew his attention away from the oddity of the situation. He made his way carefully down the slope of the crater and stopped a foot away from the stranger.

"Are you alright?" he called down to the man lying on his back. When no answer came after waiting for a few seconds, he realized the man was unconscious. However, when he went to check if the man was still alive, the cold metal of a sword rested against his neck just as he outstretched his hands to wake the stranger. He froze and did not dare to move as the blade rested barely a hair's width from his neck and he had no doubt the blade was extremely sharp and as such any sudden movements would most likely result in his untimely death. When he finally mustered enough courage to look down at the blade, he realized the design of it was foreign to him with its thin slender blade that seemed to only have an edge on one side and was blunt on the other. As his eyes travelled towards the blade's guard and handle, he found a small circular guard followed by a similarly slender handle that was wrapped in some sort of string like fabric in an elegant yet simple fashion. His eyes finally found the hand that held the blade and realized it looked remarkably similar to those he was sure he had seen on the hands of the stranger lying on the ground. Wait! The stranger! His eyes turned back towards where the stranger was and saw to his relief that he was still unconscious.

"If you value your life, step away from the body slowly." The monotonous cold voice beside him spoke softly yet with an underlying threat as he moved to obey. His hands trembled as he slowly moved his nearly unreasponsive legs back until he was standing a few feet from where the stranger was. When he had finally gotten his breathing and nerves under some form of control he raised his eyes to the sword-wielding man and realised with a start that it was the stranger himself! He looked back towards where the stranger was on the ground only to find it empty but for a small cloud of smoke that was already dissipating in the small breeze that wafted through the crater from the surrounding forest. With trepidation and an unsettling feeling of fear in his stomach, he tore his eyes away from the absence of the body to the stranger standing before him with his sword at his side, though not sheathed. He cursed himself for forgetting to draw his sword before he went into the crater; not anticipating anything would happen although he should have raised his guard when he found a crater where the storm had hit.

"W-Who are you?" His voice trembled as he used all his willpower to ask the stranger. It was at this moment that he noticed that the stranger's eyes were unique looking red orbs with three dots that seemed to chase each other as well as three thick stripes that extended from the three dots into the edges of the irises. The stranger stared at him with those eyes that slowly morphed from the unique pattern into red eyes with three identical comma shaped patterns surrounding the pupils. Finally the stranger seemed to have finished his assessment of him and offered his own question.

"Why are you here and where am I?" The man's voice was definitely young yet he could feel the tangible power surrounding the man and pressing down on his body as the stranger's intense stare did nothing to alleviate his already heightened stress. He decided for the sake of his livelihood that he should not make the stranger agitated less he turn him into ribbons.

"You are in the kingdom of Arendelle and I am a guard who was sent to investigate the storm that appeared here earlier this morning." He offered the answers to the stranger's inquiry and followed with one of his own.

"If I may ask, who are you and how did you get here?"

"My name is Uchiha Madara and you do not need to know of how I ended up here." The stranger replied evenly and carefully.

"Well then, Mr. Uchiha, I would need to take you to the King and Queen since you appear to be the cause for the sudden storm." He said carefully and with a slightly trembling voice. He hoped the man would not see this as a cause to attack him and potentially make himself an enemy of the kingdom.

"Very well, I will go with you to see the King and Queen of this Arendelle. I have much I need to know and they seem to be the ones who will have the most answers for me." Madara finally answered his request and at long last sheathed his sword within the full body cloak that he wore over his body. With his sword sheathed Madara's eyes also changed into twin black orbs that neverless shown with power despite appearing ordinary if a bit exotic for a kingdom located near Norway. When he saw Madara appeared to be compliant and had not taken his life, he finally breathed a sigh of relief and motioned for this Madara to follow him back to Arendelle for a meeting with the king and queen.
