A\N: I'm having writers block and to get over it, I'm free styling this little oneshot without editing it so it means this will probably be messy and full of mistakes but it's what makes me a good writer. In this Willicia oneshot, Alicia is drinking away her sorrows in a bar and the bartender calls the first number on her speed dial. Who is the first number on her speed dial and will they come and pick her up or leave her there?

He's in the middle of a dream that involves him, Alicia and a dalmatian puppy in the park when the ringing of his phone pulls him out of it. He frowns when he sees it's 12 am and that it's Alicia calling him.

Why is she calling me at this hour? She NEVER calls me at this time, at least not for a good reason. He thinks to himself as he answers the call, fear seeping into his body.

Phone call:

Will: Alicia, are you okay? What's going on?

Alicia: This isn't Alicia. This is Josh from The Vets bar, Alicia is drunk and can't drive home, are you able to pick her up?
Will: Yes, I'll be there in 20 minutes. Keep her safe.

Josh: I'll keep an eye on her until you get here.

Will: Thanks, man.

Josh: No worries.

Phone call

Will rips the covers off him and changes into the first pair of jeans he gets his hands on, a t-shirt and sneakers before running out of his room and out of his apartment, grabbing his phone, car keys and wallet on his way out to drive to the bar.

Will doesn't care what he looks like walking into the bar, looking for Alicia. He spots her sitting at the bar, a row of shot glasses in front of her with a half-empty one in her hand.

"Come on, Leesh." He says as he helps her to her feet and leads her out of the bar to his car. "Alicia, do you wanna go home?" He asks as he gets into the driver's side after clicking her seat belt over her drunk body. Alicia leans her head on the car window and mumbles incoherently so Will just drives back to his place, deciding that she won't want Zach and Grace to see her like this. He knows something is going on with her: he's only seen her like this once before.

It was in Georgetown, after their Mock Trial had made her feel like shit after ripping the plaintiff to shreds. He found her at the bar the two of them frequented, drunk out of her mind.

He comes out of the memory as he pulls into his underground parking garage. He kills the engine and looks at his oldest friend and ex-lover who hasn't moved her head from the window. he un-clicks his seat and exits the car, walking around to the passenger side door, lifting an almost sleeping Alicia into his arms and carrying her into his building.

For once he's thankful he didn't lock his door when he left. He closes the door with his foot and carries her to his bedroom, laying her on his bed before getting her one of his long t-shirts to wear so she doesn't have to sleep in her court clothes. He takes off her heels and the rest of her clothes, pulling the long t-shirt over her bra. Once he's tucked the covers around her, he leaves the room and goes into his kitchen to grab a glass of water and an Advil before texting Peter on her phone, as much as he hates the man for putting Alicia and their kids through numerous hells, he knows Alicia would want Peter to know where she is.

Peter: Peter, it's Will, Alicia is with me, she got drunk at a bar and the bartender called me to pick her up. I took her back to my place. She's passed out and will be home when she's ready to come home.

It's the best he can do without damaging their relationship even further. He places her phone on his kitchen island face down and goes back into his bedroom where Alicia is passed out, or close to passing out. He puts the glass of water and Advil on the nightstand and leans down to brush a kiss to her forehead.

"Sweet dreams, Leesh." He whispers as he straightens up. He looks over his shoulder to a sleepy looking Alicia holding onto his arm. "Stay?" She requests softly. He sighs and looks at her. He really shouldn't but he wants to. "Alright, I'll stay." He says as he slips off his shoes and jacket before getting in bed beside her, pulling her into his arms and watching as she falls asleep. It doesn't take long for him to follow.

Alicia wakes up with a pounding headache and in a strange bed. She sits up, the covers falling around her waist. She's hopelessly confused. Then she recognises a photo on a nightstand that's behind a glass of water and two Advil pills: the photo is of her and Will on a night out in college. Her eyes widen: this is Will's room. She's in Will's bedroom. She groans as she grabs the two pills and swallows them with the water before getting out of Will's warm and large bed.

She pads out of Will's bedroom and into the kitchen where she sees a shirtless Will Gardner standing at the stove, the smell of bacon in the air. She smiles and leans against the kitchen, staring at his back muscles as the ripple with his movements.

"Staring at me, Leesh?" Comes his smug voice. Alicia jumps when she hears his voice. Her eyes lock on his. She looks away from his face to the plate of bacon and with toast in his hand as he places it on the island in front of her with a knife and fork with a cup of coffee beside the plate.

"Eat." He says as he takes a sip of his coffee. She picks up her fork and takes a bite of bacon, smiling. "This is good bacon, Will." She tells after she's taken a sip of coffee. "Thanks." They're both quiet as Alicia finishes her breakfast, until Will starts talking to her.

"Wanna tell me why you got drunk last night?" He asks, Alicia shakes her head: she has no intention of telling Will the reason why she got drunk last night, not even if he uses the 'I'm your boss' card, which he won't, he'd never pull rank with her for something that happened outside of the office. "Not particularly, no." She says, finishing her coffee, she hears Will sigh.

"Alicia, I've only seen you the way you were last night once before and that time was brutal, and you promised me never to do that again but you broke that promise." Will states. Alicia scoffs as she stands up.

"You do not get to use that promise against me, Will." She snarls at him before she walks back into his bedroom to shower and change. She steps into his shower, allowing the hot water to run down her body, images of the fight she had with Peter flashing through her mind.

After showering in Will's bathroom and dressing in the clothes she wore last night, Alicia walks out of his bedroom, her heels clacking against his hardwood floors. Will is washing the dishes, having put on a shirt. She feels guilty for snapping at him earlier.

"Will?" She says, causing him to turn around. "I'm sorry for snapping at you." She apologises to him. Will just looks at her, an eyebrow raised: he's waiting for her to tell what made her go out drinking.

"I told Peter I wanted a divorce last night and he didn't take it well." She explains to him with tears in her eyes. Suddenly she's wrapped in his arms, her chin resting on his shoulder.

"And whatever he said to you was bad enough that you went out and drank." Will finishes for her, she nods against his shoulder. "Yes and please don't ask what he said because I can't repeat what he said yet." Alicia warns him as she lifts her head to look at him.

"Okay, Leesh, I won't ask." He says as he sweeps a lock of her hair behind her ear. "Will, I want to be with you, but they'll be a lot of blow back from the divorce announcement, not to mention Peter, Zach, Grace, the firm and the press will be all over the divorce." Alicia says says she stares into his eyes. Will smiles and kisses her softly on the lips.

"I don't care what the repercussions will be, I don't care about the press, and I especially don't care about Peter, Zach and Grace will be happy that you're happy and everyone at work already know how I feel about you. I'm in this, we can go at your pace, Leesh. I love you, so much." Will tells her softly, Alicia smiles as she kisses him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I love you too, Will." She says as Will leads her back towards his bedroom.

They're both glad that the bartender called Will to pick her up at 12 am.
