Chapter 1: History Lecture-51

Hey everyone, I'm once again back.

If the title is an indicator, this is a sequel directly after my other IC fic, "Into the Multiverse You Go!", so read that fic in order to understand what is going on in this one. Plus reading L1701E's "History Lesson-51" and the final scene of "Local Gathering" will help. Along with reading chapter 11 of "Counterpart Conferences" by Michael Weyer.

Another thing, this fic will contain some R-rated references. Just thought I'd give you readers a fair warning on that part.

Now, on with the show.

Earth-61610

Several years ago

"She's coming out of it."

The voice was from someone that I did not recognize. I woke up. This was not my bedroom. The room that I was in looked like a laboratory. Panic was in my mind now. Had one of my enemies found out that I am Spider-Man. But why was I called she.

Immediately after I opened my eyes, an old man with a mustache wearing a lab coat walked into the room and sat on a nearby chair. I didn't recognize him.

He then spoke to me, "Hi, my name is Dr. Miles Warren. Now I need you to relax. And don't try to talk or move, your body hasn't stabilized yet. We had to sedate you to stop you from harming yourself."

I was even more confused, what did he mean by that.

Warren continued, "I know you may be freaking out about now in your mind, but don't worry about that, my dear. We're going to solve that."

Despite the friendliest tone he tired to muster, I could tell that Warren was BSing me. Mainly the part that he said he was going to solve whatever problem I had with my mind.

"Now, you probably remember right now that you're Peter Parker, Spider-Man. But you're not. You're not even a him. You're a her. You're a biological replication of Peter Parker. There's a story to that. It will all be explained soon, when you're stable. For now just rest. You're ok and safe now." Warren finished.

I can still tell that man was still BSing me, especially the part that I'm ok and safe. Wait, did Warren just say that not Peter Parker anymore.

But before I can fully comprehend what Warren was saying. I blacked out as darkness enveloped me again.

The Void between Worlds

Inside the magnificent space/time ship called the TARDIS, the Tenth Doctor had navigated his ship onto a place that was near their next target, General Zod. So that he can scan him and various of other individuals affected by random changes throughout the Multiverse.

Besides the famous Time Lord, he also had three companions. From the destroyed Earth-85551531 were Marty McFly and Jennifer Parker, two teenagers who already had experience with time-travel before meeting the Doctor. From Earth-61610 was Jessica Riley, the superhero known as the Ultimate Spider-Woman who was recently forgotten in her native world.

"This looks heavy then." Marty said, knowing that the severity of the task ahead.

"Not the saying I'd use. But heavy indeed." The Doctor responded. Knowing his companions lack of knowing on both histories of Earth-51, he explained, "General Dru-Zod is a kryptonian general who fought Superman in both histories of Earth-51." The Space-Time Visualiser, now a part of the TARDIS scanner, then showed a black haired man with goatee wearing advanced looking battle armor. He carried a sort of military gruffness that those types had. On the chest of the battle armor was a stylized Z.

The Doctor continued, "In both versions of history, the battle was mainly in Metropolis. In the original version of history, the battle was just Superman fighting Zod's army. Due to Superman spending most of his life on Earth exposed to yellow sunlight, he had the upper hand over Zod's forces. But the damage caused by the battle was enormous. In fact, it actually turned public opinion against Superman for awhile. But what this battle resulted in was Zod's ship, along with his army, being sent back to the Phantom Zone. As for Zod himself, well…"

The scanner changed, showing Superman and Zod fighting across Metropolis. Damaging various of buildings and who knows how many civilians were being killed as a result of this recklessness. The combatants then crashed into what looked like a train station, civilians running from the fight between on what to them looked like two gods battling for the fate of Earth itself. Both kryptonians landed on the floor. Superman then held Zod onto a neck-hold.

Zod then guttered out words to Superman, "If you love these people so much, then you can mourn for them."

General Zod then unleashed his heat-vision onto a nearby family, the red lasers slowly approaching them.

"Don't do this!" Superman yelled at the evil General. "Don't!"

General Zod's heat-vision moved closer to the family. Superman yelled don't again.

Zod then continued using his heat-vision and said, "Never."

The Doctor gave a scowl and turned away from the scanner, knowing what was about to happen next.

On the scanner showing a scene that would go down in infamy. Superman snapped General Zod's neck, killing the rogue kryptonian. The Last Son of Krypton was now really that at the moment as Kal-El yelled in emotional pain at what just happened, Lois Lane running to his side to comfort him.

Jennifer then commented on what she just saw, "That was a bit dramatic. I mean, was killing that Zod guy necessary?"

"No." Jessica stated, a little bit disgusted at what she just saw on the scanner. "I never kill, even for the most deplorable people. I let the justice system decide for those types. Besides, if I do start killing my enemies I'd be no different from the Punisher."

Marty and Jennifer didn't know who that person was, they decided to ask Jessica about the people from her world another time.

Marty said, a bit of disgust as well in his voice, "I have to agree with Jessica, there could have been another way."

Jessica nodded, "Yes, exactly Marty." She then turned to the Doctor. "But let me guess. Since Zod is the next guy we're gonna scan that sonic screwdriver of yours with, the alterations have brought him back to life as well."

"Correct Jessica." The Doctor stated like a teacher. He then used his sonic screwdriver to switch to another scene on the scanner. This one of the new history of Earth-51.

The scene on the scanner one again showed Superman and General Zod fighting in the skies of Metropolis. But the three companions noticed something different in the background.

"Hey, wait a minute. The city has a lot less damage, at least compared to the original timeline." Marty stated.

"Correct Marty. In this version of history, Zod still arrived on Earth. Though only with two other kryptonians that followed him, Faora and Non." The Doctor explained. "Also in the old version of Superman was just starting his superhero career. In the new history, Superman had been a superhero officially for several years."

"What do you mean by officially?" Jennifer asked.

The Doctor answered the question, "Well, he was secretly active as a superhero since he was a teenager. Including the time he traveled to the 31st century by becoming a member of the Legion of Superheroes."

"So this Superman guy is also a time-traveler?" Marty asked.

"Yes, Marty." The Doctor stated, "Though only to the 31st century as far as I can tell." He continued his lecture. "And before you asked about Faora and Non. Superman had two friends in this new timeline."

The scanner then changed to a new image. It showed Non, a large muscular man with a buzzcut brown hair, fighting an armored man. The armored man's plating was black with orange kirby lines on it, though his face was exposed.

The Doctor explained on who the new character was, "That is Edward Lytener aka Luminus, he build a suit capable of manipulating and altering light. Including the ability to convert energy into red sunlight, which saps a kryptonians powers. He was blackmailed to fight Superman by a mob boss, but Superman helped Edward out of his predicament and convinced him to become a hero like him."

The scanner showed Luminus releasing a beam of red sunlight that weakened Non. The kryptonian was already weakened by being blasted with rays of red sunlight several times before. This blast was enough to knock the brute unconscious and make him temporary powerless.

The image on the scanner changed to show Faora, a breathtaking black haired woman, using her heat vision against an attractive looking latina woman. The other woman was holding back Faora's heat vision with what looked like strange colorful energy to Marty and Jennifer, but Jessica immediately recognized it as magic.

The latina woman also had black hair and her costume, consisting of leathery pants and shirt, that partly exposed her large cleavage. It was enough to make both Marty and Jessica blush by looking at her.

"That is Lourdes Lucero aka La Encantadora." The Doctor explained, "Like Luminus, she too was in a bad situation. Though in her case, it was due to the Mists of Ibella, the source of her magic…"

Marty interrupted the Doctor, "Wait, you said magic. Don't you mean that she was using some form of advanced science? That's what Doc told me what magic basically is."

"That's what I thought as well. But after seeing the magic stuff with Dr. Strange and his sorcerer buddies, plus the Ancient Greek and Norse Gods being real, anything is possible." Jessica said nonchalantly.

"I'm sorry, did I hear that right?" Jennifer said with total surprise in her voice. "The gods from ancient mythology are real and so is magic apparently."

"Yeah, listen I had the same reaction when I teamed-up with Dr. Strange for the first time and saw the stuff he did while we were fighting against an evil sorcerer named Xandu." Jessica explained to her new friend.

"Okay, you're just making things up now." Marty said in a little bit of sarcasm.

Jessica just turned her head and said, "Yeah, and I suppose your gonna wake up right now and discover that all those time-traveling adventures that you told me about was all a dream." Her sarcasm was bigger than Marty's.

The Doctor decided to just continue with his lecture, "Anywho, the Mists were affecting Lourdes' mind, driving her mad. Superman was able to help her see that she was better and stronger than she thought she was to break free of the Mists of Ibella hold and control it."

The fight on the TARDIS scanner ended with Encantadora speaking out a powerful incantation that was enough to subdue the super-strong kryptonian with supernatural energy. Faora had dealt with several magical blows and as a result, like Non, was defeated.

"Both Luminus and Encantadora were not only able to help Superman stop Zod, Faora, and Non. But there was far less infrastructure damage compared to the original timeline." The Doctor explained. "But this is the most important change to this battle."

The scanner then changed again, showing the familiar scene of Superman and Zod fighting and crashing into the train station, Superman holding Zod in a neck lock with one arm, and Zod firing his heat-vision at the family. But with the same result as before of Superman snapping Zod's neck and the rogue General falling to the ground, though the noise from the snap being lighter than the one from the previous timeline.

"What gives!" Marty exclaimed, "It's still the same as before Doc. Just with less damage to the buildings and just two extra grunts for Zod."

But before anyone else spoke again, the clip on the scanner showed Luminus and Encantadora arriving on the scene, running towards Superman.

The Man of Steel then spoke, "Lourdes, I've knocked Zod unconscious, but I don't know how long he'll be out. Cast a sleeping spell."

Encantadora muttered said incantation that would for sure completely knock out Zod into a coma. Superman then told Luminus to place a red sun collar on Zod's neck to drain him of his powers completely, which he did immediately.

The heroes had successfully defending Earth, triumphant over Zod, Faora, and Non. Earth was saved once again.

Lois Lane then, walked to Superman and hugged him. She then said to her boyfriend, "How are you feeling Clark?"

Kal-El sighed, "I tried to reason with them Lois. But they just wanted create a new Krypton at the expense of humanity. I couldn't allow it. I hoped that I could have shown them the error of their ways and make see that they were better than this, like I did with Edward and Lourdes."

Luminus spoke to his friend and ally, "Kal, I know that you want to see the best in people, like you did with us. We did our best, let's be proud of that at least."

Encantadora smiled at Superman in approval for what he did.

"Your right Edward." Superman said, smiling again, "Maybe one day, I'll find another kryptonian that I can call family. But for now I am happy that I have you three as my friends."

The scanner then showed Jimmy Olsen, a young photographer in this new timeline, approach the Man of Steel and his friends and took a photo of Superman, Luminus, and Encantadora standing heroically over an unconscious Zod.

The scanner ended with the Daily Planet and several other news outlets of Earth-51 praising Superman and his allies for saving the Earth once again.

The Doctor was the first to respond after the film ended, "Well, anything to ask me? Anything?"

Jennifer was the first to answer, "Yeah. How did Superman knock Zod unconscious? It looked like a repeat of the first video that you showed us."

Jessica actually responded to the question, "He used a sleeper hold on Zod. What that is, is a move that knocks someone unconscious by blocking the blood supply to the brain. I learned that from my S.H.E.I.L.D. training."

Marty then asked, "But isn't Zod some sort of alien though?"

The Doctor answered, "Kryptonians can easily pass as humans on the inside as well. After all, that's pretty much how Superman was able to pose as Clark Kent on Earth for a long time."

Marty then said, "Oh, okay then. But before this video began, you said that Zod was imprisoned by some organization?"

"Yes, the Department of Extranormal Operations or D.E.O. for an acronym." The Doctor stated, he then turned Jessica. "Think of them as filling the roll of S.H.E.I.L.D. does on your world Jessica."

Jessica nodded. Though she was lost in thought at the moment, thinking about on where she came from.

Earth-61610

Several years ago

God, my life is fucked right now.

You want a recap, okay then.

I have at least around 15 years worth of memories telling me that I'm Peter Parker. An average nerd for most of my, er, his life until when on a school field trip to Oscorp. During that field trip I was bitten by a genetically-altered spider. I then fainted and when I woke up.

Well, you most likely know how the rest of the story goes. Gaining spider-powers. Trying to gain some extra money, Uncle Ben dying, catching his murderer, and learning the whole with great power must also come great responsibility schtick. So I, er, he decides to become a superhero and protect New York City from an assortment of villains. From the Green Goblin to Doc Ock to the Kingpin. Teaming-up with the likes of Daredevil, Dr. Strange, and even the Fantastic Four.

Only for all of those memories to be worthless to me. Warren (I'm definitely not calling him a doctor) tells me that I'm a clone of Peter Parker from a blood sample that Warren took from him. I'm only several months old at best, artificially grown inside a tube.

But to make my artificial life even more of a joke, for whatever strange reason I am now a woman. Yes, you read that right. Even I can't believe it myself. But every time I look at a mirror, I don't see a reflection of Peter Parker. I see my own face, a female version of him on it.

Right now I am sitting in an office and I'm supposed to be talking to my therapist. Except that this one is sponsored by the shady organization as I like to call them. Her name is Klein. She seems to have doctorate hanging on the wall back of her desk. Though like with Warren, I'm not calling her by her supposed title.

"You've been silent for ten minutes Jessica. Do you have anything to talk about today?" Klein said in a stereotypical German accent. Or at least I think it was a German accent.

I replied to her."Fuck off." I did not want to reveal anything to her and whoever she worked for, especially anymore stuff relating to Peter Parker being Spider-Man.

Klein remained unfazed by my words. She then said, "I understand that you are suffering from a breakdown because of your… situation."

I snapped."Oh, by situation you mean because I'm in the plot of a very cheesy sci-fi story! That most of my memories are a lie! That I am now a girl!"

Klein said calmly, "Now Jessica, there is no need to yell. How about you tell me something on your mind at the moment?"

"Okay." I responded, "Why are you here?"

I got a blank stare from her.

I continued, "You are my shrink to evaluated not just me, but who I came from. You know that I barely have anything to say, after all I am a few weeks old biologically speaking. But Peter, he has info to whoever you work for wants."

"You have his memories." Klein stated, "And you inherited his personality and powers. You are fascinating… er…"

"Specimen." I finished for my supposed therapist. I then continued, "You see me as nothing more than a thing to poke and prod at. Which brings me to the first question that was on my mind, why make me in the first place?"

Klein said the same story she's told several times before, "As Dr. Warren told you when you first woke up, it's to create an army of super soldiers for…"

I interrupted her,"Yeah, yeah. I've been told that part already. I mean the real reason why the CIA decided to create me and several other clones of Peter?"

"CIA? Both of us are working for the FBI." She stated like that had always been that way.

I was now confused again, a feeling that has been happening to me a lot since I was 'born', "FBI? Why would the FBI want to create me and the others? I mean, CIA I get. Because they're known for their shady shit. But the FBI is mainly a criminal investigation agency, at least from I'm aware of."

"You've always been a subject of the FBI." Klein coldly stated, scaring me a little bit. She then continued with that icy tone, "I think that our session is over for today. Chen will escort you to your room, hopefully our next session together will be more productive than this one."

The door to Klein's office opened and Chen, along with a couple of guards, entered the room to escort back to my cell. Yeah, I know Klein said room, but my living arrangements essentially were a cell. A nice one with a somewhat comfortable bed and a bathroom, but still a cell.

I frowned since I once again, I was with Chen. He was a muscular Asian man, who never smiled. He is supposed to be my martial arts trainer for various types of combat moves for whatever organization made me wether the CIA or FBI. But he was a bully, plain and simple. A man who delighted torturing me, even for a minor mistake.

I so wished for the collar on my neck that shocked and prevented me from using my powers so I can beat that asshole. Oh, I tried to do that for the first week when I started training. Hoping that I can overcome it and break free from this nightmare. But all that resulted in was Chen and his goons beating me up. Now I have no choice but to wait for the right opportunity to break free.

Chen and his goons escorted me to my cell and soon as I entered it, I saw a teenage girl around my own age (well, biological age) sitting on my bed. She had the red-hair and freckles that at first glance made me that whatever organization made me also made a clone of Mary Jane. Though after a couple of more glances, I saw that she had several differences, her eyes were blue, not green. Her red hair was a bit lighter when compared to MJ. Along with her face being a bit thinner.

Before I could ask Chen who this girl was, the door to my cell closed.

She then spoke, clearly uncomfortable at her current surroundings, "Hi. I'm Lindsay McCabe. Are you my client?"

"What?" I asked Lindsay, assuming of course that was her real name.

"The company that you work for hired me to be your, umm…" Lindsay tried to think of the right word to use, but I knew what she was supposed to be.

"Call girl." I stated to her.

"I suppose that is what I am." Lindsay said, her speech still showing signs of being uncomfortable.

I sighed. Biologically speaking, I was still a teenager, but these psychos. CIA, FBI, whatever. Apparently, they thought if I was more comfortable with some sort of companion I would be more compliant to them.

Then I yelled at the ceiling, knowing that those psychos were listening in, "You think this is funny?! I fucking swear, you people are really sick if you think that I will comply to this!"

Lindsay then spoke quietly again, "I'm not going to hurt you, I swear."

"Relax, I believe you at least." I said gently to her. I then asked, "Do you at least have an idea on where we are?"

Lindsay shook her head, "No, sorry. I working on the streets of LA when these men offered me a job with a lot of money. After I accepted their offer, I think they chloroformed me and next thing I know, I wake up in this room around an hour ago."

Fuck, I thought to myself. This facility could anywhere. I then sighed and said, "You can sleep in the bed with me. But please, no sex. I'm already disgusted with them for dragging you into this and what your meant for me."

Lindsay said, feeling a little more comfortable, judging by her voice, "Thanks. But what's your name?"

I replied, "Jessica Drew, at least that's the name these assholes gave me." I didn't want reveal Spider-Man's secret identity to her. In case, it causes problems for Peter down the road.

We then lay on the bed. Dreaming and hopping that this nightmare will end soon.

Earth-51

Jessica's thoughts were interrupted by the landing noise of the TARDIS arriving on Earth-51 again. She was leaving her room in the time machine when that happened. When she entered the console room, she saw the Doctor and Marty dressed in very sharp black suits, the type that one would associate with the Men in Black.

She knew that this was their disguise to get inside the DEO and scan Zod's mind for any trace of the changes in the Multiverse.

"Damn, very sharp Agents J and K." Jessica said, in response to the outfits the two were wearing.

Marty, not knowing the reference, replied to his new friend, "Well, the Doc told me to wear this outfit. Besides, you and Jennifer are dressed in basically the same outfits as us. It's so we can pass as for agents for that… What was that organization called again?"

"D.E.O." The Doctor stated.

"Okay, but I used to work for an agency like them. You're gonna need a form of ID in to get pass their front door." Jessica explained.

"That is why I have these." The Doctor stated. He then showed Marty a wallet. But when the time traveler from the 80s opened it, all it contained was a blank sheet of paper.

"Hey, what gives? It's blank." Marty said, with a bit of disappointment.

"It's called Psychic Paper." The Doctor explained, "Basically it shows the person you're showing this to anything you want them to see. For example, with what we are doing is saying that we're D.E.O. agents from HQ coming in to check on Zod and his friends. Once we show the psychic paper to them, they'll believe us and lead us straight to where Zod is being held. That's where you two come in Jessica and Jennifer. You will go inside to disable the security system to Zod's cage for a brief moment, when I give you a signal to you two." The Doctor didn't seem to realize that Jennifer wasn't in the console room and hearing his plan.

Jessica replied, "That cool." She was getting a little bit impatient on when Jennifer was going to arrive and hear the Doctor's plan. "But what's the signal?"

The Doctor thought for a moment. He then said, "Red star."

Then Jennifer arrived, dressed in her her casual 1980s clothes she wore like before. She clearly had a look of doubt on her face.

Marty said, "Jennifer, are you alright?"

"Look, whatever plan you guys are doing. I don't think I can handle this." Jennifer stated.

"What do you mean?" Jessica asked.

Jennifer then explained, "I'm not as experienced as you and Marty. And especially the Doctor. Can I be, I don't know…"

"Gal in the chair." Jessica finished. She then explained, "It's a term from my world."

"Sure. Let's go with that." Jennifer said.

"I'll think about it." The Doctor said, "But right now, I got a Zod to scan. Allons-y Marty and Jessica."

The Doctor, Jessica, and Marty then left the TARDIS to go out and enact the Time Lord's plan. But plans usually do tend to go awry when comes to being sneaky.

I might just have to help them on this one.

Well, that's it for now. Onto the Author Notes.

To give you readers a reminder, Jessica is based on the Ultimate Marvel version of Spider-Woman (from the comics). In fact the opening flashback is based on a scene from Ultimate Spider-Man #102 (January 2007), with an alteration of including the Earth-61610 version of Miles Warren instead of a non-clone variant of Ben Riley.

Obviously the Earth-61610 version of the Clone Saga is based on the Ultimate version that lasted for eight issues, rather the mainstream one of the 90s that was overextended. Plus cues from two fanfic adaptions of that arc, "Ultimate Spider-Woman Origin" by fa5e and "SmallvilleX Evolution Year 3.2: Clones, Copies, and Collectors" by ben10987654321.

The Doctor and his companions expressing their feelings on DCEU Superman killing Zod pretty much reflects my own opinion on that infamous scene. To quote the Fifth Doctor at the end of "Warriors of the Deep": "There should have been another way."

Jessica mentioning Xandu is in reference to the first team-up between Spider-Man and Dr. Strange in the comics in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #2 (October 1965). Jessica is recalling from the memories of her version of Peter Parker, who had experienced a variation of that adventure.

I'd like to thank L1701E for telling me his idea how Superman defeat Zod in the new history of Earth-51. According to him, Superman learnt the sleeper hold move from Legion of Superheroes member, Karate Kid.

Jessica's creators changing their story in that they're working for the CIA to FBI is in reference to a continuity error in the Ultimate Clone Saga. In this story however, it is intentional. Meant in-universe to screw over Jessica mentally.

With Lindsay McCabe, she's based on a character of the same name who is associated with the mainstream of Jessica Drew (along with a little bit of lesbian subtext according to TV Tropes). She first appeared in Spider-Woman #14 (January 1979). I imagine the use of Lindsay McCabe is gonna be a bit controversial to some. It's supposed to be a little bit dark, along with the implication of her being an underaged prostitute. I warned you readers that there was some areas in this fic that might have an R rating.

Jessica's term of "gal in the chair" is variation of the term of "guy in the chair" by Ned Leeds in "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

That's all for now. Tofa and see you readers next time.

Next Chapter: Agents Smith, Riley, and McFly
