It seemed like a regular day at Beacon. Well, as regular as it can get with inter-dimensional beings can be. Hugo's screams were heard through the whole Kingdom of Vale since Trigger Happy put some sheep in his closet. Pop Fizz had made the chemistry lab explode a few times when making more of his sodas and potions. Terrafin often dug up the school lawn, and many other things, but were kept to a minimum.

This day, however, something seemed off. Spyro felt something he hadn't felt for a while. He ran into Team RWBY, Trig, Gill, Stealth, Jet, Eruptor and Chop at Beacon's Cliff.

"So, what's going on?" asked Spyro.

"I don't know," said Trig, "Stealth just said she felt a familiar presence here for some reason."

Just then, a rumbling was heard. From the ground, a giant machine came out. It was a massive robot with a single, very large arm at the end of which is his main weapon and reason behind his name, a giant drill. He has a round face with round eyes and prominent thick metal eyebrows, as well as a mouth full of rectangular teeth.

He holds a machine of some kind on his back which produces dark smoke, with tubes and gears attaching it to his main body, and walks around with four legs which help him grasp surfaces and climb up the various platforms in his oil rig.

"Is that Drill-X!?" exclaimed Stealth Elf.

"Who's Drill-X?" asked Weiss.

The Drilling Machine then slammed his drill down, and sang.

🎶 It's the end of the track, Skylanders!
This drill-bot is on the scene!
I'll knock you forward and back
with a robo attack
'cause you're messing with the wrong machine!

Drill-X then almost hit the group, with everyone dodging, and rocks flying around!

"He's stuck!" yelled Spyro, "GO FOR THE DRILL!"

Just then, some projectiles came flying, and hit the drill.

"Need some help?" asked Tree Rex, as the Giants and JNPR came forth.

"Why is Drill-X here?" asked Bouncer, dodging lazers.

"Kaos must be after something underground," said Spyro, "It might be below the academy!"

Ozpin and Goodwitch came out, and saw what was going on.

"What is this?" asked Ozpin.

"It's called Drill-X," said Gill Grunt, "He's a Drilling machine belonging to Kaos! Whatever he wants, it must be underground!"

Just then, Drill-X pulled his drill out, and glared down at the team, and what he said next almost made Ozpin crap his pants.

You don't stand a chance, Skylanders!
It will be different this time around...
'cause my power won't drop
and my drillin' won't stop
until the Maiden and Relic are found!

Drill-X then used his drill like a saw blade, almost cutting down everyone. They all dodged just in time, and the drill stopped on the other side.

"And you couldn't come up with a better song?" asked Trig.

Drill-X got mad, and smacked the Gremlin away. Just then, the lazers came down once more, and Weiss blocked them with her glyphs.

Tree Rex grabbed the drill, and threw it up, as Drill-X got his balance on the platform.

Hold on, time out, Skylander!
There's something up with my drill.
But you better watch out,
you'll be down for the count
when I show you my smashing skills!

Drill-X's drill then came apart, held by cables, as he slammed it down, making shock waves, and everyone almost falling over.

"Come on!" said Tree Rex, "Let's finish him off! THE DRILL PARTS!"

Everyone fired mercilessly, as more lazers were seen once more. The team was shielded by Glynda, until Blaster Trolls appeared, and shot at her. She had to dodge, and take out the Trolls.

Drill-X was not letting up so easily this time, and kept slamming down, no matter how many times they hit him.

"Hey, Yang! I have an idea! Swarm, give us a boost!"

Tree Rex and Yang headed to Swarm, and he boosted the two up, and Tree Rex said, "Punch him right in the face!"

"Now you're talking!" said Yang, as she readied her shot.

At the same time, they uppercut Drill-X, and he started sparking all over.

W-W-What did you d-d-do, Skylander?!
You've j-j-just won the final round!
🎶I-I-I can't k-keep the beat
and I'm f-feeling d-defeat
and my systems are all shutting down...

Drill-X then fell over, and everyone cheered for their victory, as Spyro asked Ozpin, "Professor, is there something under the academy? Drill-X said something about a Maiden and a Relic."

Ozpin looked at Spyro, and said, "I feel that Kaos maybe involved with something very big. You maybe entitled to something I trust only a few with."

Glynda then said, "Ozpin, you can't be serious."

"Their enemy could be working for her," said Ozpin, "We must tell them."

"Kaos working FOR someone?" asked Trig, as they walked to the top office and getting the other Skylanders, "that'll be the day."
