Wile E. Coyote was sure that the old reliable giant rock trap would work on the Road Runner. Oh how wrong was that poor mammal.

"Rocks can damage flying objects quite well... let's see if it can get that blasted bird." Wile Coyote said to himself as he rigged the giant red rock onto the catapult, waiting for the speedster to dash on by.

As if on cue, the Road Runner zipped by, glancing at the coyote as he kept on running, with Wile activating the catapult as the rock fell onto him, crushing him in pain. Wile groaned as he crawled out, kicking the rock in frustration as he went to get another rock.

In a different part of the canyon, Wile had a different sized rock, this time being on a cliff as he didn't felt the need to use the catapult. As the Road Runner zipped on the road below, Wile pushed the boulder, with him unintentionally falling with it as it came close towards the ground, and just narrowly missing the Road Runner.

"Beep beep!" The Road Runner greeted an annoyed Wile as he took off again, while Wile was flat like a pancake, moving about as if he was an accordion.
