"Dispose of it." Arlong said, as he threw the boy's corpse towards his subordinates. Sanji immediately ran out and kicked the Fishman about to catch the boy. Sanji then gently caught his body and took it back towards the Straw Hats.

"Thunderbolt Tempo!"

After she saw the boy's bloody mangled body, Nami instantly dropped her delusional plan to solve all of this peacefully, and used her strongest attack the instant Sanji came back. Her lightning slammed the area where the Fishmen were concentrated, which was around Arlong, and it zapped most of them. After the subsequent thunder, smoke rose from the targeted Fishmen's bodies.

"He's not breathing." Sanji said as he performed CPR on the kid. Nami waved him away and put her hand on the boy's heart, and didn't feel it beating. "This better fucking work." Nami prayed as she started producing Thunder balls and sticking them towards the boy's heart. Every Thunder ball jolted the child's chest, but it didn't show any difference, only serving to splash the boy's blood on Nami, and everyone else.

Just before she lost all hope, during the sixth time using her impromptu 'defibrillator', she felt some movement on his chest. The boy's heart was at least, somewhat beating again, if only a bit lightly.

"Sanji, take him towards Cocoyasi and find the doctor, quickly!" she ordered and Sanji immediately carried the kid off towards Cocoyasi. Nami then looked back the Fishmen, whom were slowly getting back up. Everyone of them seemed injured, some more than others, but none fatally so. She than started making more and more clouds, readying for a fight, but then she noticed something.

"Chew isn't here!" she was alarmed when she realized the missing presence of the long mouthed Fishman.

"Usopp, Johnny, Yosaku, find him and take care of him, and whoever's with him." Zoro commanded them to take care of an officer in Arlong's crew, like it was some mundane chore.

Before the three could argue though, Arlong, who was finally able to stand up, sent a literal handful of water towards their group, at speeds that would kill most people. Zoro reached out his palm and spread his haki to make a barrier that blocked Arlong's attack. The water simply splashed harmlessly from the barrier, hurting nobody, but it still sounded like a shotgun hitting a solid wall. He then put his hand down and turned back to face the three.

"Just go."

"O-of course!" "Sure thing bro!"

The trio quickly left, thinking they'd be safer just dealing with a single officer, and possibly some lower level goons, than being on the sidelines in Arlong Park where the stronger ones from both groups will fight.

"Hachi Ink Jet!"

Thinking that he could use Zoro not facing the Fishmen to sneak attack, the octupus Fishman Hachi spat out ink towards Zoro, to which he just cut the spurt of ink with his hand in a blade position. He then appeared behind Hachi and sent a light chop towards the back of Hachi's head.

'Sorry Hachi, but you'll probably thank me for this later.'

Hachi flopped towards the ground, face first. Zoro gave a silent apology towards a future ally, while thinking if and how he could improve using the next attacker's skills. Zoro already sensed the attacking ray Fishman coming from behind him.

"Forearm Slash!"

Zoro calmly dodged Kuroobi's attack despite narrowly avoiding it. He then continued to narrowly avoid all the other attacks Kuroobi throws at him, as if mocking Kuroobi's inability to hit him, with Zoro's calm demeanor only aggravating Kuroobi even more. Zoro then sent a blunt flying slash using his blade hand towards Kuroobi, which sent him careening off, cratering him towards a wall.

With Kuroobi out of commission, some of his weaker subordinates tried to attack Zoro, with absolutely nothing to show for it. Zoro dispatched them all only using elbow strikes and chops, while skillfully dodging all their unrefined attacks. While dispatching of them, he watched Luffy and Arlong start their fight, and Nami personally fight some of the Fishmen herself.

'With Luffy's better speed and his rudimentary observation haki, their fight is going far better than what I remember...A very faint but still existent armament haki is hardening Nami's Cima-Tact...' he made observations in his head as he judged his crewmates' abilities.

Arlong kept swing Kiribachi, his giant serrated blade, at Luffy, but with Luffy's superior maneuverability and already active observation haki, he didn't get hit once. Luffy then saw an opening, and countered Arlong with an overhand right after Arlong's swings became just a smidge more sluggish. The problem was, Luffy sent him straight towards the water.

After getting his bearings back, Kuroobi saw his subordinates all laid out on the floor around Zoro, who was watching Luffy and Arlong fight. 'You think this is over, Roronoa!' Kuroobi then tried to minimize the noises he made as he approached Zoro outside Zoro's field of vision, aiming to catch him unaware.

"You better show me absolutely everything that you've got. The next time you come to, it'll be over." Zoro declared confidently, not even looking at Kuroobi despite obviously referring to him, and still looking at Luffy's fight. "Luffy! You're faster and already activated your observation haki. You're not even a candidate to become one of the candidates to being the Pirate King if you let any of these losers take even a nick off you." Zoro shouted at Luffy.

"Yeah! I know, you nagged me enough about Krieg!" Luffy just smirked and shouted back at Zoro, but never letting his focus waver away from Arlong, who's currently underwater. Arlong shot out of the water at hypersonic speeds, but Luffy was ready. He grabs Arlong's collar, and used that leverage to turn him around so that he hits the back of his head first.

"Thousand Brick Fist!"

Kuroobi threw the strongest punch he could possibly muster towards the back of Zoro's head at the same time Arlong charged out of the water. Zoro simply turned around and stopped it dead on its tracks. Kuroobi couldn't believe how a human could even match a Fishman's strength, much less completely overpower him like this. Zoro then transitioned from gripping Kuroobi's fists to holding unto his arm. Zoro performed an Ura Nage on Kuroobi, using his far superior strength to make up for the enormous difference in weight, throwing Kuroobi towards the water. Kuroobi quickly swam back to the surface just to see Zoro already on the edge of the water, tying his bandana above his eyes.

"Fishmen are much more powerful in the water than on land right?" Zoro said, as jumps into the water. He left his sword behind deciding that he didn't really need it, and dunking Wado in seawater for this fight isn't worth it, in his opinion.

"You fucking monkey!" Kuroobi felt insulted by the fact that Zoro is clearly giving him all the advantages, and at the same time extremely ashamed that despite of that fact, he still couldn't even hit, much less hurt him. With all those emotions, he threw his strongest techniques at Zoro. Underwater Kuroobi's entire physical ability massively increased, his movements much smoother, and his maneuverability has quite literally opened up in a different dimension. He threw his entire arsenal at the man, but still to no avail. But even though from the outside it might look like Kuroobi's attacks aren't really progressing any differently, he was actually improving quite a bit. In combination with the shame he's feeling with the fight, the culmination of all the hours of training he's put in Fishman Karate, the very big possibility of death he instinctively feels, and the fact that he's feeling all of it in his natural environment, under the sea, his techniques and the influence he has over water kept improving. Slowly but surely Kuroobi was progressing by leaps and bounds, unknown even to him, and to everyone else, except one.

Just by willing it, in just several seconds, Usopp managed to activate his observation haki. The trio was searching for Chew and asked the residents of Cocoyasi if any of them knew where Chew headed. They pointed them in the direction of Gosa Village, which was where Chew was with two other Fishmen with him, as sensed by Usopp. They were at the shore of the now devastated village.

"Weren't they docked here? Those motherfuckers took our cut!" Chew was pissed. Nezumi was supposed to "confiscate" Nami's stolen loot and return most of what they got back to Arlong. They're stuck here, sucking on their thumbs, waiting at the supposed drop off point for their money.

"He'll fucking regret this! The only reason that they even got the money is because we TOLD them about them and we LET them take it."

He waited for a few minutes more before deciding to call it a day. But when he turned around, away from the ocean and towarda the town's ruins, he saw a human running, for a fraction of a second before he was obscured the ruins.

"Isn't this place declared to be declared as a 'no entry' zone already? Why is there sum'body 'ere?"

"We didn't see nothin boss..."

His two subordinates turned around a second too late. All they saw was the aftermath of Momoo's trail and rampage.

"Split up and go find 'im. Blue jacket, black haired human."

Chew just wanted a target for his anger and when he saw the human, he knew it would be a quick and easy. Or at least that's what he thought. The three split up in different directions. They all searched around, to no avail.

But then after a few minutes, he heard a commotion quite a distance away from him. Thinking one of his subordinates found the human, he took his time and strolled towards it.

"Ahh!"

But when he was within earshot, he heard a cry of pain. He then immediately sprinted towards it, recognizing the voice to actually be one of his subordinates.

"Water Machine Gun!"

Chew was greeted by the sight one of his subordinates lying on a puddle of blood, and the other quivering on his knees while covering his eyes, with 2 humans standing over him, ready to strike him down. He immediately spat out multiple rapid fire of water towards the bounty hunters. Due to Chew not having aimed properly and the bounty hunters immediately booking it the moment they saw him, Johnny and Yosaku both got away virtually untouched, with their coats only being grazed by some of Chew's shots.

"Smoke Star!"

Chew looked over his subordinates for a split second before continuing to chase the two. But he was unable to do so because a pellet hit the ground in front of him in front of him, which exploded into smoke, blocking both his breathing and his view, and caused him to back away coughing. When he got away from the smoke, Chew stabilized his breathing then took a deep breathe, readying himself to run through the smoke. But when he started to sprint and just about to enter the before he could entered the smoked area, he was hit by a pellet on the mid section.

"Triple Gunpowder Star!"

The pellet shot towards Chew's torso exploded upon impact. A second pellet hit Chew's conscious subordinate, who was just regaining his vision, square to the dome. When he saw the explosion on his subordinate's head, Chew was stunned, and didn't even see the third pellet aimed at his head. It exploded on his left temple, dropping Chew and opening a big gash.

"Let's go! I gottem! I didn't even have to use it."

Usopp, 5 houses away, jumped up in happiness. He felt euphoric after beating Chew, who was so much stronger than all three of them combined.

"You got Chew Big Bro?!"

"That guy's worth 5.5 million!"

Chew's easily the highest bounty the bounty hunting bros has ever beaten. Naturally, they were very ecstatic as well. Their strategy of Usopp making noise to carefully separate the 3 Fishmen, shooting them with Pepper Stars on the face, and Johnny and Yosaku ambushing the helpless Fishmen, with Usopp providing backup for any mishaps that might happen, worked almost perfectly. The only way it could've worked better was if they got Chew first, and didn't almost get hit by his attacks.

"Let's go grab the losers then."

They then walked over to where they ambushed the Fishmen and waited a minute for the smoke disperse. When they did, they only saw 2 bodies, with Chew nowhere to be found. The three instantly readied their weapons, expecting Chew to come out of a corner somewhere any second now. And Chew did, but they didn't expect him to come back looking like a balloon.

"Water Cannon!"

Johnny and Yosaku tried to block with their blades, but the rampaging torrent of water coming towards them simply just bulldozed through, sending them flying. Usopp faired much better with his shield. The water did also send him flying, but he still remained conscious and mobile, more than what either Johnny and Yosaku could say about themselves.

"Gunpowder Star!"

Usopp immediately tried to attack Chew once he got over the pain of bouncing off the ground. Despite his injuries, Usopp was able to quickly aim a pellet right on target, dead center of Chew's face.

"Water Shotgun"

Chew spat a wide squirt of water, drenching the pellet, slowing it down, and causing it to simply crumple on his face harmlessly. "Gunpowder doesn't work while wet." he said venomously, vengeance obviously on his mind. He then sprinted towards Usopp, readying a punch. Usopp panicked and instinctively put the shield over his head, opening up his lower torso, which Chew happily took advantage of. Instead of punching Usopp, he kicked him, ragdolling him off the ground again.

'FUCK!This shit hurts!' Usopp thought to himself while using a Ketchup Star to fake a pool of blood around him. 'This should be okay right? I mean, Zoro himself said he could take care of all of them right?!' Usopp justified to himself while trying to remain as still as possible as to not to alert Chew. 'Chew might take hostages once he sees the rest of his crew is already losing...Usopp. Don't fucking chicken out! Zoro knows you can beat this guy, that's why he sent you to take care of it. What's the point of training if you fold in every fight that you can't instantly win on?!' Usopp, while still clutching his injuries, stands up in front of Chew. "That the best you can do squirt face!" Usopp taunted him. Chew was kind of impressed that Usopp would stand back up and ask for more, and he was more than happily to oblige and started to charge at Usopp again. But just as he was less than a meter away from Usopp, Usopp drops his shield and shows a nozzle attached to his left hand, which was previously holding his shield.

"Usopp Fire Surprise!"

Instead of a singular stream of burning liquid, Usopp modified the nozzle to spray an area in front of him. This caused the Pyrous fire to be able to cover most of Chew's front side near instantly. Chew tried to kill the fire with his water, but it simply didn't work. Then he tried to roll around the ground which became muddy from his earlier Water Cannon. The mud managed to smother most of the flames, but he never managed to capitalize on it. While Chew was rolling on the mud, Usopp threw his shield full force down towards the back of Chew's head, multiple times.

"Usopp Shield Bash! Usopp Shield Bash! Usopp Shield Bash!...

'Attaboy, Usopp.' Zoro congratulated Usopp in his mind. He felt Chew go completely unconscious near Usopp. 'You on the other hand, is finally reaching your limit.' He then looked at his opponent, or maybe those aren't exactly the most accurate terms. He sensed the person generously demonstrating his martial arts to him to the best of his abilities.

(AN: This is going to be my in-universe explanation of how Zoro managed to copy Foxfire style and how he'll copy similarly weird martial arts. If some other explanation pops up in the future, feel free to tell me about it and I'll change it.)

Throughout Zoro's 'fight' with Kuroobi, not only was Zoro carefully observing Kuroobi's form, but also the 'breath' of his techniques. Zoro has observed throughout his journey people's ability to change the 'breath' of their attacks to produce supernatural results, similar to his ability to 'cut nothing but also cut steel'. The first time Zoro has tried to copy other's ability to change their 'breath' was with Kin'emon's Foxfire Style and its ability to control and cut fire. Now, Zoro's trying to incorporate not only Fishman Karate's physical techniques, but also it's ability to influence water.

Due to Luffy already taking on Arlong, Zoro had to settle for Kuroobi. Kuroobi's ability to influence water is incredibly weak, but with the addition of them fighting underwater and Kuroobi entering his flow state, Zoro manage to feel the 'breath' of Fishman Karate influencing the water. Zoro immersed himself in its 'breath', and kept trying to mimic it, unbeknownst to Kuroobi himself. After several minutes of submerging himself, Zoro even used what he's learned to subtly increase his speed underwater when he went up to take a breathe. Both Zoro and Kuroobi improved rapidly, but soon Kuroobi's manic pace caught up to him.

He started to slow down. He knows it, and he knows Zoro knows it. 'It's either you or me. I have to go even further beyond!' Kuroobi sent multiple blows towards Zoro, which all whiffed. Kuroobi even controlled the water to shoot out of his every attack, but Zoro perfectly read the trajectory of it all.

"Are you simply going to avoid all of my attacks you weakling?!"

Kuroobi was fading, so he tried to provoke Zoro into taking his attacks, despite knowing Zoro isn't the type of person to bite unto such an obvious bait as that. Kuroobi then swam around to build up momentum, then he started spinning. Using his two spinning arm fins, he tried to attack Zoro.

"Sea Render!"

Zoro, uncharacteristically, used his armament haki to harden his entire body, his clothing, and his bandages, and took the attack head on. Unsurprisingly, Kuroobi's attack didn't do anything to Zoro's entirely hardened physique.

"I give you my gratitude, I'll be taking that. Shark Serration!"

Zoro used a similar attack to Kuroobi, but instead only using a single elbow, slashing Kuroobi's torso diagonally. The force of the attack threw Kuroobi out of the water. He then used his new influence over water to shoot out of the water himself and back on the shore. He was then served with the sight of Luffy swing around Arlong by the nose like a hammer in order to destroy Arlong Park. It ended with Luffy hammering Arlong, nose first from the rooftop down to the basement and demolishing the entire building, hammering the final nail in the coffin of the Arlong pirates.
