Hiccup and Elsa Haddock are the children of Stoick the Vast, chief of Berk. So there's already a lot they need to live up to. But they seem to choose different paths than the one their village wants them to be. When Hiccup took down the Night Fury, they discover a Light Fury, who's his mate. After they bonded with the two dragons, they knew nothing was going to be the same.

All things considered, the dragon riders had been doing pretty well in their war against the Dragon Hunters. Of course, that was before they were stranded a millennium in the future, ghost hunters on their tails, a thief lurking in the shadows, with their lives resting in the hands of a dead sixteen year old.
