Author's Note: This story takes place after Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and Thor. This will follow 'The Avengers' and the other Marvel movies. I don't own Avengers or its characters. I only own Angela 'Ange' Stark whose face claim is Hayley McFarland. Now on with the story!

Of Heroes and Villains

Chapter 1: The Daughter of Iron Man

Year: 2012

Location: New York, USA

Angela's POV

I opened my eyes as I woke up from my slumber and sat on my bed to stretch a bit.

I then removed my pale blue coloured pyjama shirt and trousers to put her clothes for the day.

A soft grey sweater with a bunched up top and white frills lining the bottom. The sleeves of the sweater were long, sit off the shoulders, and are folded inwards at the bottom to reveal black cuffs underneath. The sleeve of the right arm has two pins on top, one pink and one purple. The front of the sweater features a pink silhouette of a chibi rabbit's face with a white arrow cross in front of it. The letter H and an exclamation mark can be seen on the right side of the sweater. A small black cross was at each end of the sweater. Underneath I placed on a knee-length blue jeans. There was a slit on the right side that's fastened by a grey button on the hem. Lastly, a pair of short brown boots and and an Omega pendant on a silver chain around my neck.

As soon as I was ready, the J.A.R.V.I.S terminal on my bed suddenly blinked and opened up.

"Good morning, Lady Ange."It greeted.

"Hey J.A.R.V.I.S."I answered."What time is it?"

"It is 8:30 am."J.A.R.V.I.S declared."I am pleased to report that you have achieved the minimal sleep requirements, for a healthy adolescent of your age, ma'am."

I smiled smugly at my butler's respond.

"Why, thank you."I said in a fake posh tone.

I came out of my bedroom to make my way to the kitchen to eat some breakfast.

Oops! I nearly forgot to introduce myself!

I'm Angela Maria Elizabeth Stark.

But everyone calls me 'Ange'.

I'm seventeen years old and my birthday is on the 21st January 1995.

My father is Tony Stark aka Iron Man.

That's right.

The Tony Stark.

The Genius, Billionaire, Playboy and Philanthropist.

And I'm his daughter.

Well, actually I'm his adopted daughter.

Though I still call him 'Dad' and his girlfriend assistant, Pepper Potts, I call her 'Mum'.

They're a cool couple and seem to like each other a lot.

I never knew my birth parents.

I only know my birth mother died when I was three years old and I was taken to an orphanage here in New York City.

A year later, Tony adopted me and I became a Stark.

To be perfectly clear with all of you, that isn't my entire backstory.

I don't have the gut to tell you everything because…I'm a little scared.

So it's best if you all found out by yourselves.

As a Stark, I'm sort of popular.

I mean I have followers on Facebook and friends at Midtown High School.

But I'm not like other teenage girls.

And, no, it's because my adopted dad is a celebrity superhero.

My dad may have a power suit, but I…have powers.

Super powers.

No damn clue how though.

To be honest it's an utter mystery.

I showed signs of powers by the time I was seven when I attempted to get an orange juice box from the couch when I was busy watching an episode of 'Sailor Moon' on TV.

Well, I was thirsty and said 'Orange Juice Box' before it automatically came on my hand.

Creepy, right?

The only ones who know I have powers are my dad, Pepper, Nick Fury and…agents that work for S.H.E.I.L.D.

Anyway, what's a good story without mystery?

After picking some ingredients, I started making my meal to start the day.

I've made myself some waffles before adding cherry jam and cream on top of them.

Once I prepared myself some orange juice, I started eating.

I'm a healthy eater, but I have a big sweet tooth.

"What do you think you're doing, young lady?"

I munched on my waffles and saw my dad raising an eyebrow at me.

"I'm just added a little something sweet to brighten up my breakfast?"I replied with a bright smile.

"If you wanted breakfast I could've made you something."Tony requested.

I cringed at my dad's respond.

I'm not going to lie, but his a terrible cook.

One time he made pancakes for me on my 9th birthday and they were pretty burned and I had to eat them all up to make him happy. Though my tummy was left hurting for a few days after recovering.

"I know, dad."I replied as I fiddled with my fork."But I'm old enough now to do my own things."

"Of course you are."Tony said with a shrug.

Tony placed tofu on his breakfast bowl as Pepper came back to greet us.

"Hey, mum."I greeted with a wave.

"Hey, Ange."Pepper answered.

Pepper gave me a kiss on the forehead before sharing with Tony a rather small yet passionate kiss which made my eyes revert back on eating my waffles.

I like Tony and Pepper a lot, but there are times when the 'Pepperony' moments makes me rather uncomfortable.

I'm taking about the het ship between Pepper Potts and Tony Stark.

Not pepperoni as in one of the famous toppings most of you put on your pizza.

"Must you guys always do that?"I asked after raising my head up again.

"Don't worry, Ange."Pepper assured teasingly."When you get a boyfriend, you'll understand."

"Sure."I replied in a low tone.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, Ange is not old enough to date."Tony reminded firmly, actijg overprotective."She's just a kid."

"Dad, I'm seventeen."I reminded.

"Exactly."Tony answered."You're still a kid."

I rolled my eyes a bit at my dad's reply.

He tells me to conduct myself and yet he with Pepper?

I then took out my phone to check the latest news.

The latest news of last year was a discovery of a large hammer at the bottom of a crater in a desert in New Mexico.

I've contacted Agent Phil Coulson, one of my uncle figures, to ask him about this hammer that was found and he ended up telling me various things that made my jaw drop in awe.

But I'm not planning to give out any spoilers here.

"Hey, dad?"I asked.

"Yeah?"Tony said.

"People are calling you a futurist."I informed smugly after eating another piece of my waffle."Care to explain that."

Tony placed his hand to his chin.

"Mmm, how to explain? A futurist is someone who tries to predict the future, or in my case, tries to create it."Tony stated."I'm inventing technology for next century. Trying to make the world a better place. For instance, having news an information delivered via wireless signals as opposed to a newspaper."

"That already exists, Tony."Pepper quipped as she walked over to the fridge."It's called Facebook."

"Yep."I agreed with a nod and scowled a bit."And I'm surprisingly one of the followers that is given various love messages because I'm strangely loaded with money. It's not even Valentine's Day."

Tony smirked as he looked at me.

"Well look who's talking."Tony sneered."Never thought I'd see the day J.A.R.V.I.S. didn't report on the damage you did to the training room."

I simply shrugged in respond.

"Well, I figured I don't shake things up today."I admitted."I'm just going to be on normal girl mode. No superpowers or anything based on that."

Pepper placed a plate of French Toast with fruits on the table as she sat down next to us.

"Though from without wearing your suit, you don't really know how to fight, Tony."Pepper admitted.

"What?"Tony said in disbelief."There are loads of people that will disagree with you."

"Mum is right, Dad. You can't always count on your armour, Dad."I stated."You have to be ready for anything."

"That's the whole point."Tony responded."I'm working to know exactly what's coming. I'll know exactly what to be ready for."

I slightly shook my head as I finished eating my waffles.

Dad was a superhero and believed he knew best, always relying on his suit to save the day.

But there are times that I can't help, but be worry about him.

Even though I'm his adopted child, Tony is still my dad.

The one who raised me.

No one can ever replace him.

Never.

Okay. This chapter was short, but I'll make sure the next chapters will become longer. I have a whole story planned out for this fic and I can't wait to see what you guys think. See you all later and have a wonderful day!
