Hiccup wants to leave Berk because everyone hates him. Stoick marries him to Astrid. When she breaks his heart, he leaves for three years to join Dagur, ends the raids and makes Dragon island his home. After three years away, does the village want him after he became a warrior and does he still want Astrid.

22. Return To Berk

Astrid walked past caven after caven to find Hiccup.

Valka ask "still trying to find my son?"

Astrid frustrated whines "I search all these caves and I can't find him! It's like he disappeared into thin air or lefted the Sanctuary! Toothless is still here."

Valka smirks "didn't you and him go to the hill on Berk to look at the stars and relax after a long day's work?"

Astrid comments "I suppressed my memories about Hiccup that I forgot about him because I thought he was useless and wasn't worthy of being my husband."

Valka sighs "I always thought you two would be dating by thirteen. You two were inseparable when when you both were kids from what Hiccup told me."

Astrid sighs "is there a place here for him to go watch the stars?"

Valka sighs and leads her to a tunnel that leads up to a cliff and says "you hurt my baby once. don't hurt him again."

Astrid sighs and follows the tunnel out to an opening cliff and Hiccup sitting on the ground and says "H-hiccup?"

Hiccup turns his body to look behind to see Astrid standing there and ask "was it true that you consummated with Snotlout after I ran away from Berk?"

Astrid answers "honestly, if you didn't break off the marriage, I was planning on seducing Snotlout because I couldn't stand being married to you.

After you learned how to train any dragon, my opinion of you changed and I see what you have to offer."

Hiccup comments "please go Astrid. Leave me because apparently I meant nothing to you."

Astrid gasped "no, Hiccup. I'm not leaving you. I'm sorry for being honest, but you mean everything to me now."

Hiccup turns away and ask "did you really desire to sleep with Snotlout?"

Astrid nods her head "yeah because I wanted to remain a shield maiden for a few more years."

Hiccup sighs "what stopped you from doing it?"

Astrid teary-eyed answers "being married to you, my maiden head should go to you because your my husband still when I wanted to break off things over stupid traditions."

Hiccup ask "why did you kiss Snotlout in front of me?"

Astrid grumbles "are you going to return with me back to Berk so we can live married?"

Hiccup shakes his head at her ignore the question and decides to ask him to return to Berk.

He scowls "return to Berk?! Return for what?! I gave Snotlout the position of heir so you could be his lover and be his wife and

Astrid gaped "you did that for me when I messed up with you?"

Hiccup snorts "you proved that you didn't want me, so I decided to leave you behind and find a new girlfriend to marry and had a daughter with her."

Astrid sniffles "please don't leave me again. I'm sorry for treating you horribly."

Hiccup shakes his head "do you still want to sleep with Snotlout?"

Astrid sighs "Hiccup, I want you and I kinda have feelings for Snotlout, but there not deep feelings."

Hiccup gets up and says "you should straightened out your feelings."

Astrid blushes "maybe I want you both."

Hiccup sighs "I'll go back to Berk for my father."

Astrid whines and hugs him "I love you, Hiccup."
