It was awhile later, and time for the big move against the Liberation Front. Kuri was given the job to infiltrate with Mirko, as she was the only one known who could purify Nomu. But she was hoping to sneak out and find her brother Hawks.

Kuri snuck into the lab with Mirko. "It's too quiet; I don't like it."

"Keep on your toes then." Mirko said impatiently. "Come on let's go."

Kuri headed inside and then stops and gasped. "Death…"-Her eyes blanked out and she fainted, her proxy going up and joining her sister.

A semi-solid projection flew up and joined her sister and brother upstairs.

Miko caught Kuri's body. "Dammit."

"Sis?" Reiko said with a start.

"Oh hi. How did I…"

Hawks visibly flinched. "Sister?"

He had seen her flit in from around the corner.

Kuri quickly hid. He wasn't supposed to see them yet! "He saw me!"

"You just appeared. Aren't you supposed to be with Mirko?"

"I was…I think I still am…"

Hawks returned to battle, believing Twice was mocking him with images of his sister, he attacked the villain.

Kuri, alarmed, ran after him. "Wait hawks!"

But Dabi ambushed them, hitting them with his fire. "Ha ha no you don't!"

"No!" Kuri pitched and rolled, taking damage from the flames.

"Shit! We gotta get outta here!" Reiko cried, trying to heal her sister.

Meanwhile, Hawks was attacking Twice, trying to protect his family from whatever Twice knew about them. He struck Twice down, panting.

"Brother no!" Kuri screamed.

"Aw how cute a family reunion. Now allow me to cut it short!" Dabi attacked Hawks.

"No!" Kuri caught him, trying to put out his wings. "Brother speak to me!" Tears were running down her cheeks.

"Stay back!" Hawks tried to fight.

Dabi burned Hawks. "I'm talking to the girl!"

Hawks cried out in pain.

"Brother!" Kuri handed him over to Reiko.

"No!" Reiko rushed over and tried to heal him.

"I'm gonna kill this bastard!" Kuri cried.

Yes yes. Attack me like you did Overhaul. Show me how ruthless you are!" Dabi laughed.

Kuri shook her head. "No…no…that's not how heroes act!"

"Who said anything about heroes? Your the one we should have kidnapped…you'd make a fine addition to the league." Dabi smiled mockingly.

Kuri struggled. "I can't act like that! Not as Deku's partner! He has faith in me!"

Reiko finally lost it and used her foxfire on him, an illusion of burning. "How dare you say that to her!"

Dabi screamed, thinking he set himself on fire.

"Like I'm taking advice from you, vindictive child…Toya Todoroki." Kuri glared and flew them out.
