Izuku was three when he heard someone say that life wasn't about heroes or anything like that, more of survival, and that he would have to learn that soon. Only when he was four did he truly understand what it meant.

At a young age Izuku Midoriya is taken from his neighbourhood playground and used as a battery due to his amazing energy generation quirk. After outliving his use he is given a simple quirk and put up against other kidnapped children just for fun. Years he escapes from that horrible facility but begins to encounter entirely new and different problems.

The world of My Hero Academia is full of discrimination and fear, but none more so are feared than All for One. He was an unstoppable force of nature before All Might came along, nobody could hope to stand against him. Which was exactly why the HPSC decided to create him. Unfortunately, he wasn't a gullible child who would do as they say.

Izuku Midoriya wants nothing more in this world than to be a hero. His mother, a former pro hero herself, decides to put her disillusionment with heroics aside to help him achieve his dream. One mistake is all it takes for it all to come crashing down. It was in her blood after all. So it was only natural for her to accept an invitation to study under Recovery Girl herself at the prestigious U.A. and be an honorary member of class 1A.

Izuku Midoriya, couldn't be a hero. But despite this, he soon finds he's a magnet for trouble, particularly trouble involving children. There a lot's of children in the city with quirks that cause issues for them and the people around them. And if their parent's won't care for them then he will! It may not have been the type of hero he wanted to be. But he's a hero none the less!
