A/N: The title is a direct rip off of the Dual Monsters cards Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Dragon from yu-gi-oh!

Regaining consciousness, Chase's eyes shoot open and he jumps up to his feet in taking a defensive stance, only to stagger and almost fall back to the floor. Head pounding painfully, Chase brings a hand up to cradle his head as he groans in pain. Closing his eyes, he tries to center himself, taking some deep breaths.

Somehow he can't seem to remember what might have happened to make him end up like this. Releasing a deep breath, he lowers his hand from his head. While he still feels oddly unbalanced both mentally and physically, he can manage to ignore the remaining pain.

Slowly opening his eyes Chase lets his gaze wander around the room for any trace of who or what might have been the cause for him to wake up on the floor.

Keeping his breathing deep and steady, his nose crinkles as he suddenly catches an unfamiliar scent. Twisting around, his eyes quickly scan the room and lock onto a foreign white shape.

Staring at the huddled mound, Chase scents the air again, trying to determine what it might be. The smell is somehow familiar, but he can't figure out why. With equal amounts of suspicion and curiosity he slowly approaches. As he comes closer, he notices that it seems to be shaking lightly. Curiosity peaked he quickens his step, wanting to know what it might be.

Keeping his eyes locked on the white bundle he watches curiously when it seems to curl in on itself tighter, as he comes closer to it. When Chase is only a couple of yards away a scared whimper suddenly escapes it.

Surprised by the unexpected sound, Chase halts his approach. Looking over the strange thing he notes that it's indeed shaking and seems to be made of some kind of white leather. Eyes narrowing, Chase carefully moves closer to get a better look. At a closer inspection Chase notices that it's not leather but appears to be made of soft looking white scales. Something about this detail makes alarm bells sound in the back of his head. And that scent, what is it.

Licking his lips, Chase lets his jaw relax open and he takes a deep breath through his mouth, scenting the air. The first thing that hits him is the overwhelming scent of metal and oil clinging to the air around the white bundle. There's something achingly familiar about it, but his mind refuses to focus. Frustrated, Chase takes another breath, trying to ignore the familiar metal and oil smell, and instead scent what's hidden underneath. There's sweetness, like some kind of fruit, and that too feels familiar. Though there seems to be something strange mingled with. An odd mix of what might be a reptilian scent, like a lizard of some sort, or… Eyes widening in realization, Chase steps back with a growl. "Dragon!"

Falling back into a defensive stance he calls for his Heylin magic, but instead of magic filling his veins he staggers as dizziness overtakes him. Feeling oddly disoriented he looks down at his still human body, not finding a trace of his dragon transformation present.

Taken off guard by his failed transformation, Chase stares down at his clawless hands in confusion. His failure to transform is enough to briefly distract him from the newly identified dragon until loud pitiful whimpers reach his ears. Snarling he steps towards it, causing the white dragon to flinch and if possible curl in on themselves even more. Scoffing at the dragon's pitiful whines, Chase moves around it, not fearing attack from this pathetic cowering creature.

It's then that he catches sight of an anxious garnet eye peeking up at him from the bundle. As his eyes lock with the dragon's sudden recognition washes over him and he grimaces. "Spicer."

Letting out a frightened squeak, the eye disappears behind white once more.

The familiar scent of metal and oil really could have given it away earlier, especially in combination with the sweet fruit scent of the soap the genius seems so fond of. He has no idea how he didn't work it out right away.

Closing his eyes Chase pinches the bridge of his nose and takes a deep breath. "What did you do?"

Getting no response, not that he truly expected one, Chase sighs and crouches down in front of the other. "Spicer?"

Whimpering, Spicer curls tighter in on himself.

Exasperated Chase lets out a tired sigh, if this is any sign how this will continue, he will never get any answers. Clearing his throat he tries to soften his voice. "Jack, look at me."

Twitching at the sound of his first name, Spicer slowly moves, what Chase now realizes is a wing, revealing his eyes. Following the hesitant movement of the other, Chase can't help but be intrigued by Spicer's wings, even while they're lying flat, tightly hugged around his body they look strong.

Tearing his eyes away from the wing, Chase returns his attention to Spicer's face. Meeting the self-proclaimed genius' eyes Chase holds his gaze as he stands back up, gesturing for the other to do the same. "Now stop cowering."

Letting out a concerned mewl, Spicer shakes his head and stays hidden under his wings.

Barely managing to resist the urge to growl in frustration, Chase can't quite keep the irritation out of his voice. "If I wanted to kill you, I would have already done so. Now stop this pathetic display."

Shrinking back at the harsh words. Spicer glances up at him before hesitatingly moving his wings down, letting his head and neck peek out.

"I said, stop cowering."

Flinching, Spicer briefly curls tighter before he slowly adjusts his wings, finally straightening, but only partly, still staying crouched low to the floor. Frowning, Chase opens his mouth to once more tell Spicer to stop cowering but stops himself when he notices the structure of his wings.

Spicer isn't actually cowering but leaning forward on his wings, which Chase can finally see also function as his forearms. Fascinated, Chase steps closer. Inspecting Spicer's form which seems to take after a wyvern rather than his own drake-like appearance.

Leaning down he grasps the young genius's slime snout, forcing him to straighten up as he brings his head up to eye level. Wobbling on his back legs, Spicer tries to balance by flaring his wings out, bringing them back. As Chase grips the other's face he offhandedly notes how much slimmer it is than his own wide maw, before his eyes gets drawn in by the movement of the wings and flashes of red. Glancing over at the wings, he's momentarily stunned by the vibrant red underside of them.

Eyes flickering over the outstretched wings, he's surprised by their unexpectedly wide span. Gaze trailing up the curve of the wing his eyes catch on a vicious dark claw at the bend of the wing. Eyes darting down the wing he notes that each point of the wings are adorned with dark, sharp talons, made to eviscerate.

Whining, Spicer draws Chase's attention back to his face.

Stroking his thumb over Spicer's snout, he can't help but smile at the other's wide-eyed concern. Stepping back Chase abruptly withdraws his supporting hand from Spicer's chin and watches with interest as the wings frantically move, stirring up the air causing the warlord's hair to swirl around him before Spicer finally regains balance.

Running his eyes over the other, Chase must admit that this new form suits Spicer. A quite striking sight of lily white and stark red. His physic is slender, clearly made for flight, with its sleek and lean body.

Slowly walking around the other, Chase runs one of his hands over a wing, feeling the soft yet strong membrane. Pressing against the skin he feels it flex slightly under his fingers. Feeling Spicer shiver under his touch, Chase smirks as he strokes the wing up to its apex and the wicked talon there. Tracing the curved claw, he feels the sharp tip even through his gloves.

Fascinated by the wing structure he traces the bone down to the withers, and down to the middle of Spicer's back where red spines are going down his back like bloodied daggers. Following the red trail with his eyes, Chase's gaze travels down a slender tail. Contrary to his own muscled, short tail, Spicer's is thin and long, doubling his length. The end is adorned with sharp tail fins, almost like a rudder.

Admiring the other's dragon form Chase will admit that Spicer makes quite the beautiful dragon. His appearance is so different from Chase's own dragon one. The contrast of bright white scales, red spines, and black claws are beyond striking, making his own colors seem muted. Where he is wide and strong, Spicer is slender and lithe. Having more of a likeness to a predatory bird, a raptor, rather than his own, who could only be compared to a monitor lizard or crocodile. Hulking, strong creatures, not the graceful, sleek form of a hawk or falcon.

Coming to a stop in front of Spicer, Chase clasps his hands behind his back. Waiting for the young genius' eyes to meet his, Chase finally asks, "How did this happen?"

Hesitatingly meeting the warlord's eyes, Spicer slowly glances over to the side. Following the other's line of sight Chase sees a pile of black tatters and resting among them is the Sun Chi Lantern.

Looking back Chase meets the other's wide worried eyes. "The Sun Chi Lantern. Really, Spicer?"

Wings curling in Spicer lowers his head down with a miserable whine.

Letting out a tired breath Chase relaxes slightly as he now knows the reason for his physical exhaustion and lack of magic. "At least this means that your current state isn't permanent." Head jerking up Spicer chirrups and stares at him with hopeful eyes. "Though I am uncertain on how long you might stay like this." Wings sagging Spicer's face turns down.

"Your current form is caused by you absorbing my Heylin magic. This should mean that the same principles apply here as they usually do for me."

Stepping closer Chase reaches out with a hand and tilts up Spicer's chin. "You need to calm down and relax."

Eyes wide and incredulous, Spicer gives him a doubtful look.

"I am fully serious, Spicer. For you to return to your human form, you need to relax."

Reaching up with both his hands, Chase places one on either side of Spicer's cheeks. "Close your eyes and breath slowly."

Closing his own eyes Chase takes a deep breath through his nose and then slowly releases it through his mouth. Opening his eyes back up he looks expectantly at Spicer to do the same.

Stiff like a statue Spicer does the exact opposite by keeping his eyes open widely, breath shallow and panicked.

Sighing Chase leans in, touching their foreheads together. Keeping the other from turning away, Chase holds Spicer's gaze with his own. "Close your eyes." Staring into Spicer's anxious red eyes Chase slowly blinks at the young genius before repeating himself. "Close your eyes, Jack." Under his hands Chase feels Spicer swallow thickly, before he lets his eyes drop closed.

When the red finally disappears behind white Chase closes his own eyes. "Now take a deep breath." Breathing in slowly through his nose Chase feels Spicer's forehead press closer to his as the other does the same.

Releasing the breath through his mouth, he feels Spicer mimic him as warm breath blows across his face. "Perfect." Opening his eyes, Chase strokes his thumbs across the scaled ridges of Spicer's cheekbones. "Continue just like that."

Slowly but surely the scales under his hands recede. Smiling, he watches the form in front of him change. "That wasn't so hard, was it?"

Eyes shooting open Spicer jerks back, out of Chase's hands, face blushing bright red.

Smirking at the young man's reaction Chase is about to inform him about his lack of clothes when Spicer's eyes catch his attention. Taking a hold of the young man's chin Chase forces him to meet his eyes. Staring into Spicer's eyes Chase lets out a displeased sound as he notes that the pupils are still elliptic.

Tightening his grip on Spicer's chin, he traces the genius lips with his thumb. Stopping at the corner of the mouth Chase pauses before he without warning pushes his thumb into Spicer's mouth, forcing it open. Immediately Spicer's pupils dilate, fangs extend, and an unnatural hiss escapes the young man. Humming in interest Chase leans in close and turns Spicer face to look over the needle-sharp fangs the teeth have turned into.

Still within a hairsbreadth of Spicer's face Chase withdraws his hand, letting his thumb catch on the young genius bottom lip. Leaving Spicer to stare at him in stunned shock.

"Seems like you will be staying here for now. Can't have you transforming out of control." Stepping back Chase smirks as he gives Spicer a thorough one over. "Sadly, it seems that your clothes got ripped to tatters as you transformed."

Frowning, Spicer looks down at himself and squeaks in mortification and tries to cover himself with his hands, only to wince and withdraw his hands when his claws come in contact with delicate parts. Desperate, the young genius turns around to try and hide himself, but this has the opposite effect of showing himself off further. Granting Chase a new view of his pale back and ass.

Chuckling Chase lets his eyes run over the newly displayed skin. Stepping around the flustered genius, Chase gestures with his hand for Spicer to follow him. "Come now, I'll take you to where you will be staying." Turning away Chase's smile morphes into a wide grin. "I might have something for you to wear."

Dragon info: A wyvern, also called winged two-footed dragon, is the kind of dragon whose front legs/arms are also its wings. A drake, also called wingless dragon, is a four-footed dragon without wings. Then there's the traditional European dragons that have four feet and two wings, often referred to as true dragons. There's many more types of dragons like traditional Chinese Lung dragons, Lindwurms and many more.

Sun Chi Lantern: When used, it allows the user to absorb the "chi" energy of anyone illuminated by its light. In case that the chi belonged to the Xiaolin Monks or/and the Heylin Villains, the user would acquire elemental abilities and/or heylin magic, for a short period of time.

I take this to mean that you would absorb Chase's dragon-ness if you used it on him. It is sort of a part of his heylin magic after all.

If you like this concept, you can take it and use it basically as a prompt or inspiration for a fic of your own. I don't mind.
Would love it if you dropped me a comment if you did though. Always fun to see what people can make from my delusional ramblings.

Hey, you got this far so why not leave a comment?
