*Bunnymund's P.O.V*
It has been nearly an hour sense I had sent Jack to Sandy's castle and yet even with Sandy's help I was struggling against the summer spirits that dared to enter my domain. The summer spirits were furious I had let their 'friend' get away as apparently he had missed an important matter though the way they said it had dripped with what I could only describe as lethal poison. These spirits were giving off such ill intent that the egglets were cowering under various rock formations and the warrior eggs had flanked me and sandy without being given the command or sign.
These spirits were here to finish jack off however I wasn't going to allow it if I could help it. Just as the summer spirits started yet another attack vines had wrapped around the group rendering them immobilized. The vines appearing had stunned everyone in the room as I didnt have that ability and Sandy had golden whips though soon everything in the warren started growing back from the ashes that lay littered all around us which had instantly told me who had entered while we were fighting as well as the rest of our team besides Jack for obvious reasons. Where he was he would be safe from the reach of the summer spirits.
Mother Nature's P.O.V.
I was beyond thankful that toothiana and north who had brought some of his yetis specifically trained in combat had gotten me and had told me what the guardian's plan was to keep Jack safe. They both had told me that they were just planning on talking to the summer spirits to find out why they were attacking Jack who was now a guardian that was needed to keep children believing and though though toothiana wasn't the biggest fan of violence she was willing to fight along side north if the summer spirits became hostile.
I get why the other guardians would want to have a conversation with the summer spirits to understand why they attacked jack though I didn't like that they didn't tell him their plan ahead of time and instead sent him somewhere safe from the spirits though I knew it was necessary. If Jack would of found out his stubborn nature would have put himself in the direct line of danger even with him currently recovering from the summer spirit's last attack. When I counted how many had been entrapped I relized their leader was missing and their second in command was with them instead. In total there were about six summer spirits and that alone angered me but when I saw that they had converted the items given to them that were meant to help them in case the need arised into literal weapons meant to severely harm or kill others.
What was their leader thinking!? Did he literally think I wouldn't find out? Was he that dense and blinded by anger for their opposite element that was needed to keep the balance that he was willingly planning to kill them. Was it just Jack he was after or was he trying to kill spring too? Judging by how banged up Bunnymund was it seemed to be the case as he was missing patches of fur from burns and had blood running down his nose in a steady stream. Another thing I noticed was the small but, somewhat deep cuts along his shoulder and right leg as he was avoiding pressure on them so his body could heal them with the assistance of the magic in his Warren.
Sandy though seemingly unharmed was keeping his eyes trained on the surroundings and though silent was clearly on edge and had a dream sand snowball in hand ready to toss it at any given time. Toothiana had went over to bunnymund with some bandages to wrap his leg and shoulder while north stood near me looking at the spirits in front of him to get a good look at the ones that had attacked the Warren.
The summer spirits simply sneered back seeming to think they still had the upper hand which put me and North on edge before the sound of crackling fire could be heard behind everyone which instantly distracted me causing the vines to loosen altogether setting the summer spirits free and instantly went to their leader who was named Ember. Ember was a rather tall man at about seven feet with tan skin and had hair that was bright orange with red tips with a scar over one eye from a freak accident that only he knows about.
Ember's P.O.V
"Well, well it seems my little plan worked and caused you to leave your snow spirit unprotected. You four thought Sanderson's castle was safe didn't you well hate to tell you but, it wasn't enough." Right after that I had tossed a beaten and bloodied Jack back at the guardians with enough force to knock them all back however what I didn't expect was Bunnymund to jump up and grab jack before landing with a thud but, that motion had caused his leg injury to open back up which gave me satisfaction that my team did as I asked.
I was tired of winter and spring getting in the way of summer. Yeah summer was hot but, it had more activities humans could do without becoming too cold or events to be rained out. Summer is seen as a thorn in everyone's side and I didn't understand why as there were plenty of ways for humans to cool off if needed. The humans used to be way more adept to the weather changes but, as time went on they became less tolerate to the heat though I'm pretty confident that winter is the main killer of humans and animals. Jack should of kept to his own devices and though I knew manny summoned jack he should of chose me and my team instead of a kid that will never grow into adulthood because his time was frozen.
I don't know what the winter nuisance did to even be considered to be a guardian but, I doubt it was anything worth while. Down below Bunnymund was fretting over the winter spirit while north and the others made a barrier around the two which intrigued me. Bunnymund never cared for jack in the past and now he's showing concern for him. It seems the tough aussie bunny actually has a soft spot which gave me an idea however with the others around the two I couldn't get close though my team could. I just had to distract Mother Nature and the other guardians to give them an opening.
With that in mind I had looked to the other summer spirits and gave a hand signal only understood by them. Before any of the guardians or Mother nature could react the other summer spirits sent out fire balls to force the remaining three guardians out of the way and as expected one of the guardians got Mother Nature out of the way as well which gave me the opening I needed. In seconds Bunnymund and jack were sent flying into the complete opposite side of the Warren and into a wall which quickly sent a soil slide down burying the two under it.
Judging by the lack of movement I figured they were both passed out and now on a time crunch to be unburied but, suddenly out of nowhere I and the others heard a muffled growl under the mound before it was broken with enough force that it sent soil everywhere and standing in its place were two pooka one white with blue and Bunnymund's gray.
They were both standing on all fours and because of the magic of the Warren had become massive while a tourquise aura circled them as if it was a force field of their combined elements.
Before I knew it everything became a mix of color as the two lunged forward and used their hind legs to send me into my team and into the water effectively canceling out mine and my teams own element till we dried off but, it was enough for Mother Nature to immobilize all of us before she said a farewell to the guardians when north made a portal to her domain. The last thing I see before the portal closed was the white and blue pooka transforming back to the winter spirit himself which had effectively made me keep my mouth shut from pure shock.
