24. Story ProgressPlans

Not an actual chapter but not bad news either!

So I haven't stopped dreaming. Haven't stopped thinking of this. Life is just. Difficult. But then everyone knows that. Its not hard to know why I haven't written. I didn't want to. Things got in the way.

Priorities and all that. But! The news. I'm updating everything. A lot is being changed. Editing, adding things. Shifting.

First off, getting rid of the journal entries into something more first person. If I miss things I'm sorry. Not perfect but I'm going through the whole story slowly. Things will shift between Ella's first person perspective and different people as I see fit. I'm still not a writer. I still don't do this except to do what I want. But I'm cleaning things up. Plugging plot holes.

So I'll be slowly working from the first chapter to the last one out until I've changed things. While the story as a whole won't lose its big beats or characters, there will be more in everything. And trying to show more than just tell. Again, tryyyying. But honestly Ella's voice is going to be most of it. Maybe other stories I'll succeed in a better written thing. But its not going to change here.

So new viewpoints and different ways of conveying information are expected. One might ask why I don't upload it as a new story? Mostly cause I don't want this one to be the one I remember. I adore it but its not what I want it to be.

So as of this posting, the first redone chapter will be going up almost immediately after. Then hopefully over the next month I'll get done and onto the conclusion of Lance versus Ella that I've yes, been imagining ever since I updated last before this.

I don't make promises because I really don't know when I can finish things but this feels like when I uploaded chapters every other day in how much I am excited for it. Take that for what you will.

Addressing things again,

To those who are pming/reviewing about show versus tell. I get it. I'm going to be a bit better but probably not at all anything great compared to other stories. Not even close. Thanks for the suggestions/comments but yeah, its not going to change for this story. Thanks for reading what you did and the advice. Less so those who are more than a little...Impolite. I've heard it though. And those who kept reading despite it? Thanks muchly.
