Fast forward to a few hours later
The reunion had moved from Deny's Applebee's Max to a bar. The D.A.M. had closed so they had to relocate for the time being. Wendy had stayed with Bebe throughout most of the reunion, catching up on old things and stuff like that. When the reunion moved to a nearby bar, Wendy had taken a couple shots after relocating. She was just tipsy throughout the rest.
"How many shots did you take Wendy?" Bebe said giggling
"Not t-to much.. hic I think… I could use a few more.." Wendy replied
"What are you waiting for? Don't be ashamed! Pretty much everyone is drunk already!" Bebe said teasingly
Wendy giggles
"Well… I guess you're right.. Okay! I'll g-go for a few more.." Wendy replied
"You go girl!" Bebe cheers
Wendy walks over to the bartender. But on her way there she bumps into another man. She started to apologize but then.. She looked at his face and started getting nervous and excited at the same time
"S-Stan?" Wendy asked
Wendy had no idea what to feel. She felt excited since she hasn't seen him in years nor talked to him. But she also felt nervous because after her breakup, she got with his best friend and married him. She doesn't really know how he feels about that since she left South Park by the time they married.
"Wendy?" Stan asked
"Y-yea! That's m-me!" She replied
"Woah Wendy! I haven't seen you in years! How are you?" Stan said in a warm tone
"I-Ive been great! Amazing actually!" Wendy replied
"That's good!" Stan replied
"What a-about you Stan?" Wendy asked
"Eh I've been the same" He chuckles "Just caught up with work shit… not really important.." He changes the subject "Oh, I heard you got engaged a couple years ago! Who too?"
Wendy was extremely hesitant to tell him… but she ended up telling him. "I got married to.. Kyle…"
Stan was kinda shocked to hear this "Really? Late congratulations then!"
They both laughed. It wasn't even funny!
"Y-yea its been years since we married.. Its been.. A ride lets say.." She tells Stan
"Better be a fun one!" Stan replied "Also its kinda hard to explain but... you look so different but… You still look like the same old beautiful Wendy… do you get it?"
This gives Wendy butterflies in her stomach… what is this feeling? No, she shouldn't be feeling this… another man can't be giving her butterflies… why is she feeling this? She's hoping it will go away soon..
Wendy giggles "Yea… I get it!" she laughs "And you don't look too bad yourself…" She says in a small flirty tone.
She feels weird saying this. She's not sure if she regrets it or not… oh well… lets see where this goes…
Stan laughs "I don't look good, trust me I've tried going on dates.."
"Well you don't look bad either…" Wendy replies
"Thanks! You kinda gave me a boost there.." Stan says
"Glad I could help!" Wendy says
She thinks for a moment.
"Hey Stan… could you maybe like… give me your number? I really want to catch up with you but I don't feel like we'd have enough time discussing it here… maybe we could meet up for lunch? If that's okay with you of course.." Wendy says
"Sure of course! I'd love to meet up! There's so many things I want to talk to you about… and you're right. We wouldn't have enough time to talk here. Besides, we have other people to talk to, right?" Stan replies
"Yea yea… other people… so could we like… meet up for lunch?" Wendy asks
"Yea of course!" Stan replies
Stan proceeds to give Wendy his phone number.
"Just call or text me when okay?" Stan says
"Okay..! I'll let you know.." She replies.
"Cool. I'll see you later!" He says
"O-okay! Bye Stan!" Wendy replies
As Stan walks away, Wendy feels really weird from that whole interaction. Did he just give her butterflies? Nobody has given her butterflies besides Kyle… but thats when they first started dating, same thing with Stan.. but this time, the feeling never went away. She still felt butterflies because of Stan. She starts pushing her feelings aside, "No Wendy! Keep yourself together! You're married and he's your ex boyfriend.. You love your husband..". She repeated this to herself and started feeling better.
A couple hours pass by and the reunion ends. Everyone either is staying at a hotel or at their old parent's house. Wendy is staying in a hotel with Kyle for the night. She closes her eyes and falls asleep.
