A/N: Now for something out of the blue.
The last prompt I did was the CQ dialogue where my editor and I asked character questions about a lost character of ours. I asked mine about the blind swordswoman, Katti. Doing this made me fall in love with the character all over again, and I wanted to reintroduce her. To do this, I'm going to do her Intro Dialogues with the MK X/11/1 Newcomers and the GbNF OCs, so I won't be here for ages.
As usual, let's begin with her Intros, Variations, and Fatals, and for the first time since I started doing these Outros.
Katti
Character-specific Kameo: Elysium
Intros
Psyche Up: Katti takes off her blindfold and says, "Here we go," before covering her eyes.
Astral Entrance: A rift of Astral Chaos is opened, and Katti jumps out before closing the rift behind her.
Ruthless Guardian: A glimpse of her fighting skill is revealed as Katti ruthlessly and efficiently kills a Lost Soul by decapitating and kicking its head off in two clean motions before turning to her opponent.
Eyes of Truth: The camera closes in on Katti's face, revealing she has one eye altered by her prolonged stay in the Astral Chaos. (Constantly changing colors like it's the Northern Lights) Her other eye doesn't have a regular pupil but instead has the same symbol as the Eye of Truth. (Will be revealed in the UA Reboot when it reaches the Melee Arc)
Fatalities
Glimpse of Chaos: Another Astral Rift is opened, and Katti kicks the victim into it. The camera then shifts primarily to the victim who after looking around confused, an ensemble of Lost Souls and Malefics attack mercilessly. Taking limbs and leaving gaping holes before another rift opens and a Lost Soul accidentally pushes the victim into the rift and back to the mortal plane where Katti awaits before slicing the victim in two, ending their suffering. In the style of MK1, the camera shifts to the on-the-ground shot as Katti turns around with her Kameo as she takes her blindfold off after sheathing Entelechia.
Collateral Crossfire: Similar to the first fatality, an Astral Rift opens. Instead of just the victim, both Katti and the victim go inside. Katti immediately recognize where they are and slays the Lost Souls that attack the pair. The victim isn't doing a good job, and a Winged Lost Soul spears and attempts to take Katti with them. But Katti notices what it's trying to do and after killing the Lost Soul she was fighting and smoothly decapitates both the Lost Soul and the victim. She then runs out, using the victim's corpse as a decoy so she can return to her post.
Variations
Astral Sage: Default style. Katti combines the minimal Ice Magic she knows with her punishing take on Iaido and enhanced strength and reflexes to fight her opponents. This is symbolized by her dress losing the clouds turning it into a pure white.
Fortuitous Warrior: Katti's style before becoming the Soul Swords' Guardian. With a more patient take on swordplay, Katti gains more stances and parries to push enemies into making mistakes. This is symbolized by her regaining her old blue cloud dress and her eyesight.
Summoner of the Lost: Rifts of the Astral Chaos randomly open in various spots wherever the fight is happening. If Katti gets near one and with a button press, a Lost Soul or a Malefic will come out and shortly assist Katti in fighting her opponents, each with different levels of aggression and effects. This is symbolized by Katti phasing in and out of the mortal plane like a desert mirage.
Outros
Beautiful Eyes: Katti wipes the blood off the Entelechia and her dress as much as she can. She then takes her blindfold off, revealing either her blind eyes, her Astral Eye and the Eye of Truth, or her normal black eyes before saying, "ཁྱེད་རང་གིས་ངག་རོགས་པའི་ཡོད་པའི་ངག་ལོ་ལ། (Sorry for getting so rough out there)" She then smiles warmly at the camera.
Fate of the Victim: This outro can go one of two ways. If Katti beats a Force of Light, she walks up to their unconscious body and says: "ངས་བསྐྲུན་འཇུག་རོགས། ཁྱེད་རྒྱུ་བཟང་པོ་ནི་མེད། (My apologies. You'll be okay)" before walking off. If she beats a Force of Darkness, however, she draws Entelechia and says: "ངའི་དུས་ཚོད་ལུ་འགོག་པ་ཡོད་པའི་དུས་དེའི་སྐར་ཆ་དེ། (Your time is up, unfortunately)" before slicing the victim's neck with their blood spilling onto her dress. She then wipes the blood off of Entelechia and walks away.
Astral Exit: After sheathing Entelechia, a rift of the Astral Chaos opens, and she doesn't hesitate to walk through it to leave the mortal plane and her opponent's sleeping body. Before walking through, she looks at the camera and says: "བསླབ་པ། (bsal-ba) (Goodbye)" She blows a kiss and walks through.
Astral Guardian: Before checking on the opponent, a rift forcefully pushes her back into the Astral Chaos. After recollecting herself, she immediately slays an aggressive Lost Soul and is almost instantly entangled with a Malefic afterward. Seeing that another Lost Soul is going to attack, Katti ducks the Malefic's attack and in one swing of her sword, she slays both the Malefic and the Lost Soul before running to get back to Elysium.

Cassie: You wanna see how?
Katti: Please do, Cassandra.
2nd:
Katti: I'm not the first blind swordsman you've met.
Cassie: One of my superiors, Kenshi, is blind too.
Katti: Interesting there's another out there.
3rd:
Katti: I heard you made racist remarks to Kimura-chan.
Cassie: I already apologized, Katti. / Of course, another Nip would take her side.
Katti: After she rightfully broke your nose. / I'm Bhutanese, not Japanese.

Cassie: Great, another Asian trying to join Special Forces.
Katti: Do I have to bring this up to your parents, child?
Cassie: You won't get the chance, Katti.

Cassie: You're very dark-skinned for a Nip.

Jacqui: It's kinda sad you think that way. / Never thought I'd be blushing today.

Jacqui: I've been sparring with Kenshi-san, Ms. Katti.
Katti: He couldn't adequately prepare you for my style of swordplay.

Katti: I can see why, being dangerously sure of yourselves.
Jin: It's just confidence, Katti.
Vs. D'vorah

Katti: Who or what are you?
D'vorah: This one is D'vorah, human.
Katti: Wonderful, a hive-mind species.
2nd:
Katti: Did a Lost Soul escape Astral Chaos?
D'vorah: This one is Kytinn. / The Emperor granted them asylum in Outworld.
Katti: You'll be slain like one. / He risks his realm's destruction.
3rd:
Katti: Why are you here?
D'vorah: You trespass, Earthrealmer.
Katti: Your death will be my way out.

D'vorah: You question this one's loyalty?
Katti: Hive-minds like you are only out for themselves.
D'vorah: This one acts in the Hive's best interests.

Katti: Don't know, never had to eat one.

Katti: I do, they just don't work. / I prefer not to use them. / Why is everyone so obsessed with my eyes?

Katti: I have enhanced hearing, and I don't hear him.
F/T: Then Ferra is only one who hear.

Katti: No, but just as insane.

Katti: Shao Kahn fed you nothing but lies, Skarlet.

Katti: I felt in his soul he has zero intention of completing your training.
3rd:
Katti: I'm grateful for my blindness during times like this.
Skarlet: What makes you say that, Katti?
Katti: So I don't have to watch you grovel.

Katti: Being anything like you would make my skin crawl. / As a subservient yes woman? No thanks.
Skarlet: You wound me, Katti of Bhutan.

Skarlet: Your blood is consecrated.
Katti: I seriously doubt that. / The Astral Chaos might have tainted it.
Skarlet: I must know what it tastes like.

Skarlet: The Astral Chaos should have killed you!
Katti: I'm tougher than my appearance suggests.
Skarlet: Only for me to end you today.
Vs. Frost

Katti: To think you would betray Sub-Zero.
Frost: He had nothing of value to teach me.
Katti: You truly have learned nothing from him.
2nd:
Katti: I'm bringing you back to Arctika.
Frost: Try it and die.
Katti: Either come willingly, or in a coffin with a tombstone and eulogy.

Katti: I command ice as well, Frost.
Frost: Your pitiful snowflakes don't compare to my ability to freeze.
Katti: Hence why I bring so much more.

Frost: Your sword must be enchanted.
Katti: Quite the contrary, an item of high sentimental value.
Frost: Then you'll provide a worthy challenge for me.

Frost: The Cyber Lin Kuei can restore your sight.
Katti: But I enjoy not having to look at your supposed homely face.
Frost: That earned you a slow and agonizing death, Katti.

Frost: You're nearly as old as the Edgemaster?
Katti: He's merely a year older than me. / You disregarded his words of wisdom with your decisions.
Frost: I'm the only one who can look out for myself. / Of course you knew as the guardian of the Soul Swords.

Frost: People disappoint, and why I push them away..
Katti: I may not be much of an improvement, but allow me to try at the very least.
Frost: You had the chance to take the Soul Swords for yourself but didn't. Why?

Vs. Sindel (Twindel)

Katti: No wonder Shao Kahn flocked to you like a starved pigeon.
Sindel: Why wouldn't he after witnessing my natural beauty?

Katti: Allow me to close the Astral Rift in Outworld.
Sindel: By all means, after pledging Shao Kahn your fealty.
Katti: Heh. You're playing a dangerous game, Your Majesty.
3rd:
Katti: Your attempt at killing Baby Dakini wasn't unnoticed. (Wha!? Then again, it is Twindel)
Sindel: Benjamin found out?
Katti: Sending Reptile didn't help your case. / We were all privy the moment Fujin revived you.
4th:
Sindel: Such a beautiful face you possess, Katti.
Katti: I... wasn't expecting that, Your Majesty. / What are you playing at, Sindel?
Sindel: Indeed, as you'll make a wonderful sex slave. / I'll be making you my personal mistress.
5th:
Sindel: That sword holds some value to you.
Katti: Entelechia was a gift from the man who raised me. / If you have any 'smart' ideas, I'll happily reunite you with your ex-husband. / It holds no value as it's just well-crafted.
Sindel: I will be taking it for my own purposes. / My dear Katti. You don't have a choice. / I see you are the true prize in that partnership.

Katti: The ship has sailed, Your Majesty. / I never pegged Outworld and Edenia's Queen as a liar. / Make your proposal so I can refuse it.
Sindel: I knew I shouldn't have trusted Kollector's word. / Watch your tongue or I'll cut it off. / Join the kourt or die.
A/N: Seeing as MK1 doesn't have new characters, we'll just do dialogues with characters who returned after long absences.

Katti: As well as its ability to corrupt its wielders.

Ashrah: And live in peace among kind-hearted mortals, Ms. Katti.
Katti: Koun o inoru, Ashrah. (Probably missing the translation) / You don't have to be so formal.
3rd:
Katti: The Shaolin Demon?
Ashrah: I rather like it, don't you?
Katti: While fitting, don't you think it's irreverent?

Katti: I'm touched but must keep a close eye on more potential Astral Rifts.

Katti: Of course, though I'm a handful. / Prepare yourself, Ashrah, I'm not an easy opponent.

Katti: Guess it was only a matter of time until I encountered a vampire.
Nitara: How did you decipher my identity?
Katti: I smelled your scent from three miles away.

Katti: If permitted, I'll close it for your people.

Katti: Shao's rebellion opened a slew of Astral Rifts.
Li Mei: Do you know of anyone who can close them?
Katti: Today's your lucky day, Constable.
2nd:
Katti: Your sense of duty is to admired, Li Mei.
Li Mei: Such high praise coming from one as selfless as yourself.
Katti: I'm merely trying my hardest.
3rd:
Katti: Your feelings toward Benjamin are justified, but you're treading dangerous territory.
Li Mei: I will not let him as well as Ms. Jade and Sareena down.
Katti: As long as you understand the consequences.
4th:
Li Mei: You and Edgemaster are a pair to be feared.
Katti: I am only a fraction of the swordsman he is.
Li Mei: He said much the same of you. / How touching.

Li Mei: What do you see inside my soul?
Katti: Duty, content, and longing. (Interesting...)
Li Mei: Nothing escapes you, does it?

Li Mei: I challenge you, Katti.
Katti: Challenge accepted, now prepare yourself.

Vs. Reiko:

Katti: I sense your underestimation, Reiko.
Reiko: I've no reason to fear a blind woman.
