Author's Note: I am Handicapped with Aspergers, Dyslexia, OCD, ADHD and a whole lot more so please bare that in mind if my spelling is off. I use spell checker. I also have a slight mental disability so please excuse any mistakes. I do the best I can with writing these stories and trying to post chapters. Also, I am a very sick person so there will be periods where I don't update. But ALL my stories will be updated eventually.
Also, when I come up with a story idea, I can't stop myself from writing it down and posting it. I literally can't sleep to I have written it down. So that is why there are so many stories.
Now updates might be far in between because my computer crashed last September and I have no money to but a new one. I am borrowing one from time to time while trying to get my iPhones fanfiction doc working. I have only managed half of that at the moment. Fingers crossed I figure it out soon!
I hope you enjoy this!
Introduction
Rose comes back after Journey's End. But she is far from the same. She lands outside Torchwood. Can Jack help an emotionally crippled Rose Tyler who is a LOT older than she was and who has been drastically changed by Time? And who has basically lost her name and humanity to time?…
Chapter 1: The Wolf and her Captain
The Wolf didn't know how long it had been since she had lost everything. She lost HER John suddenly he was just erased from existence, along with their two children and her unborn twins. Then she lost her parents to old age and then her brother a few decades later. And her nieces and nephews followed. Wars and invasions came and went and through it all the Wolf remained unchanged. Untouched by time or death. She had tried everything to die and yet she couldn't get it to stick. She was doomed to watch the worlds go by alone. And this wasn't even her own universe.
She had lost her name to time. But she now went as Bad Wolf. Her name struck fear into most species of the universe. And her name started and ended wars with the howling of wolves.
But through it all she had been along. She had been abandoned by someone she had loved. And if given the chance to be with that man again she didn't know if she could forgive him or even love him. As she barely knew what was love anymore.
She knew there was one person that could possibly know what she felt. But he was a universe away. And she hadn't found the motivation to try to jump worlds to try and find answers and peace.
But the Wolf found felt something inside of her telling her to take a leap of faith. There was this urgent feeling inside of her telling her to jump.
The Wolf knew she had nothing left to lose and how bad could a jump be? After all her powers were already unstable and seemed to be exploding out of her. So bad she had taken to inhabiting abandoned planets to keep everyone safe.
So what did she have to lose?
So concentrating on her powers she reached out with her mind and seemed to connect with something. The Wolf's body glowed gold and her eyes glowed a bright feral gold.
And so the Wolf jumped into the darkness and tried to have faith that the Time would deliver her to where she needed to be…
(Torchwood: Cardiff)
The Captain sighed it was late and he was still doing paperwork. But luckily he didn't sleep much. His team was still here and he knew he should send them home. They had done great work in the past few months, with the Earth being Stolen and did great when he left with the Doctor unannounced. He left with the Doctor to find out what happened to himself and because he needed a little break from his team. After the stunt they pulled. Yes he forgave them. But it didn't mean he forgot.
Suddenly an alarm goes off.
The Captain jumps up and races out of his office.
"Tosh what have we got?" the Captain asks.
"Major rift spike just outside our base", Tosh tells him typing away on her computer.
"Give me CCTV footage of outside now", the Captain orders.
"Sir it is ten times more powerful then we have ever seen before except for when Abaddon was released", Tosh tells him.
"That can't be good", Owen grumbles with a wince remembering Abaddon.
"Got footage", Gwen calls out.
"Is that a woman?" Ianto asks.
The Captain looks at the screen and can't believe what he was seeing.
"Impossible", The Captain whispers seeing the familiar golden haired woman.
She looked just like his best friend. But it was impossible she was meant to be in a parraell universe. The Captain knew he had to check this out alone.
"Everyone stay here", the Captain orders them.
"You can't go up there on your own", Gwen protests.
"I can and anyway…what can kill me?" The Captain jokes.
They were surprised he went to the hidden platform and activated it. He steps on it and lets it take him up. He knew the perception filter would be useful to observe this woman.
He arrived at the top to find the woman still standing there looking at the area the TARDIS normally landed on.
The woman had the same golden blonde hair his best friend had and the same body type. Before he made any other observations the woman turned to him. Her face was exactly his best friends. But her eyes with glowing slightly golden.
The Doctor had told him about this.
But how was it possible?
Those eyes once held so much love and joy now were full of despair and distress and he saw in them want he saw in his eyes sometimes when he looked in the mirror. They showed that they had seen too much death, destruction, devastation, pain and war to be normal.
"My Captain? Help me", the woman pleads her eyes full of despair.
"Rosie?" the Captain asks not bothering at the moment to comment on how she could see through the perception filter just yet.
"Is that my name?" the woman murmurs, "I am the Bad Wolf. My Captain…Jack Harkness?"
