Feeding must be in large proportions. Guideau gets poor fuel mileage. Increase the proportions on physical active days. Bear in mind, low calorie foods will be utterly rejected.
Misha dutifully listened to the instructions. She wondered what kind of food Guideau preferred. Ashaf, for his part, was already an expert on the subject.
It didn't take him long to figure out that the petite woman consumed far more food than her slender body gave away. Her appetite exceeded what he, with his tall and lean 6'1" frame and 170 pounds ate in a typical day.
It had been an amusing discovery. On the same day they met and crossed paths he had a front row seat to Guideau's voracious appetite.
"My, my," he said lighting a cigarette with magic and taking a drag. Guideau, across the table, was busy devouring the last remnants of a large steak and fries. The Farmingtin siblings, seated on either side of Ashaf, wore twin expressions of dismay. Falvell's fork hung in midair between her fingers, her own meal forgotten.
Guideau swallowed the last remnants of her plate, and looked across the table at the little girl's.
"Are you gonna eat that?" she demanded, her voice hoarse like a growl.
The young witch was too intimidated to refuse.
Hours later, back at home, and after a few phone calls to the Order, Ashaf found himself helping the two children and the beast with their accommodations. Guideau was the last to be installed. After getitng her some clean clothes and making sure she didn't destroy anything, Ashaf was ready to call it a day and head home. He was turning around when he heard her calling him.
"Hey, you," she barked with a choice of pronoun that was derogatory. "You got any more food? I'm starving after that damn battle."
Ashaf suppressed a smile. What an interesting character.
"You didn't find the food on the train satisfactory?"
"You call that food? Don't make me hit you."
Ashaf had to suppress a chuckle.
"Well, I'm afraid our options are slightly limited at the moment," he explained patiently. "But perhaps I can find something for you".
He returned a few moments later. "Here," he said, handing Guideau a loaf of bread and a jar of jam. "This should do until the morning".
The petite girl looked at him skeptically. She snatched the food, gave it a disgusted sniff, and took an obligatory bite before refusing to eat any more.
"This tastes like garbage."
A hidden emotion flickered in his eyes for half a second. He twirled the keys around his finger and headed for the door.
"Stay here. I'll see what I can do."
I'd love to have Ashaf's patience and budget lol
