*Clone Wars: A Galaxy Divided Theme Plays*
One's past cannot be outrun, and must be confronted eventually
Recovery! Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, and his apprentice Ahsoka Tano alongside their Clone Troopers of the 501st have crash landed on the planet Earth after a near death encounter with the Evil Separatist Droid Army! Stranded on the planet, the Republic Heroes have allied themselves with the Teen Titans, who are currently searching for a way to get them home as the Droid Army closes in…
Three Separatist Dreadnaughts, the three that had attacked and destroyed The Warrior now floated along the stars.
Focusing on the bridge we now see a Tactical Droid sitting in its throne and looking over star maps, Earth being one of the planets, and various equations as a B1-Battle Droid Pilot walked up to it.
"If the Jedi were to have survived, they would have to have landed in several of these planets…" it droned to itself.
"I don't know why we're putting so much effort into this sir. My programming thinks we finished our mission here" Stated the B1-Battle Droid as the Tactical Droid looked up to it.
"Incorrect, while our mission was to intercept and destroy the Republic forces in this area, we need to ensure the complete DESTRUCTION of these Jedi. Especially General Anakin Skywalker…whose determination and resilience should not be UNDERESTIMATED" Replied the Tactical Droid before looking "dispatch Probe Droids…if they are STILL ALIVE, we will find them and DESTROY THEM" the droid now clenched its fist as the B1-Battle Droid and used its pad to dispatch the superiors order.
Focusing now on main Separatist Dreadnaught we see several probe droids shooting out from it, looking like shooting stars shooting out from it. Several now shooting towards Earth…and of course North America and Jump City, landing outside the city.
Popping up the Probe Droid, a floating spy droid with several arms and squid like appearance floated up, scanned its environment, and looked around; eventually it sets its eye on Titans Tower and began to float in that direction, where we zoom in to check in on our heroes…
In the Titans combat training area within the tower stood Anakin and Ahsoka back-to-back.
Robin and the other Titans stood around them.
"All right guys, time to see what you got" Said Robin "Titan's GO!" He ordered as the other Titans went in to combat mode.
"Right Snips, remember your training!" Said Anakin
"Yes master" She replied as both drew their lightsabers and began to deflect and counter the Titans attacks.
Ahsoka deflected Starfire's blaster bolts as Anakin used the force to throw Beast Boy, in the form of a tiger, off and at Raven; throwing her off balance.
It was then that Cyborg went in with his arm cannon and blasted at the two, forcing them to move. Starfire then flew back in with another wave of Starbolts at Anakin, who got up and dodged, quickly deflecting after and then eventually used the force to grab one and throw it back at Starfire.
"EEEEE!" She said as it hit her and she went to the ground, being dizzy for a second before seeing Anakin stand over her with his lightsaber pointed at her…before quickly shutting it off, holstering it, and extending his hand to her.
"Those Star bolts are pretty powerful, aren't they?" Asked Skywalker which Starfire nodded and took Anakin's hand.
"Quite, they are my people's primary way of defending ourselves…of course aside from the traditional weapons. We do not use the lightsabers and blasters that are common in your galaxy."
"You know of our galaxy?" Asked Anakin a bit intrigued, not knowing what the inhabitants of Earth or the other planets knew of their galaxy.
"Of course! Tameran has much history with your galaxy, but that is a discussion for one other time…" Said Star signaling to the Titans and Ahsoka approaching.
"All right everyone GREAT JOB!" Said Robin, signaling the end of the training as he and Ahsoka approached Anakin and Starfire. Ahsoka looked narrowly at Robin, sensing a hint of annoyance with Ani talking with Starfire.
However, her concentration was broken as Beast Boy suddenly and comically slid on screen next to her "your so totally gonna have to let me used that lightsaber of yours sometime Ahsoka."
"Honestly after learning more about you Beast Boy, I'd be worried about you cutting yourself in half with it…" admitted Tano to which Cyborg began laughing and Beast Boy had an annoyed anime face and walked off.
Anakin now walked up to Raven "and great job to you Rae!"
She had her hood up and looked at him "its Raven…for someone who is a general I expected a bit more seriousness and less of a carefree attitude" she said walking off now clearly annoyed.
Anakin was kind of shocked, his eyes literally became white anime orbs as Ahsoka and Cyborg walked up from behind him.
"No worries Master…it takes time to get to know Raven. She's only JUST started talking to me this morning more, but BARELY" explained Ahsoka.
"She ain't really your go-lucky kinda gal, she's always been closed off. She was getting better at one point…and well someone betrayed her and the rest of us and she's been more closed off and less trusting of new people ever since" explained Cyborg as the three watched her walk off and follow Beast Boy to the door.
Beast Boy then opened the door and was shocked to see the Probe Droid on the other side of it looking right at him, its claws suddenly shooting out and grabbing at him as its blasted powered up.
"AHHHHH! KILLER ROBOT FROM THE MATRIX!" He squealed as the droid grabbed him and began to drag him off.
"BEAST BOY!" Yelled Starfire as she flew after him.
"Master is that…" began Ahsoka
"Yep…PROBE DROID!" Said Anakin as the others followed Starfire now.
"You recognize that thing?" Asked Robin as they turned a corner.
"Yes it's a spy essentially…usually used to do recon of areas…"
Pho, pho!
Several blaster bolts flew down the hallway at them as the droid kept turning corners.
The Titans naturally dodged as suddenly…
PHEW
Another blaster bolt rang out and the Titans turned a corner to see R2-D2 and Rex with his helmet off standing there, the Probe Droid disabled and Beast Boy struggling to get out of its mechanical arms.
"Gah! Someone help me OUT! IT STILL HAS ME!"
"R2 picked up somekind of other technology at work in the tower" Explained Rex as the droid began helping BB out.
"I'm guessing its not one of ours…" said Anakin to which the trooper nodded.
"No Republic signals have at all been reported in this area…and the last one was our ship which was destroyed…which means only one thing…"
All the Titans and Republic Fighters slowly looked up now as the scene panned out and back to space…
"Sir…Probe Droid 1411 has been reported destroyed, but picked up something I think you should see" said a B1-Battle Droid looking up from one of its monitors.
"Display it."
On screen was footage the droid captured, rummaging through Titans Tower and finding Rex's helmet, before it began moving around…and eventually moving to the portion where it engaged Beast Boy…and spotted Anakin and Ahsoka.
"So the Jedi did survive. With how many Clones unknown…it seems they have allied with the locals of this world…set coordinates for the Probe Droids last reported location…" it ordered as the three Separatist Dreadnaughts began to move now and towards Earth.
Back in Titans Tower all of our heroes were gathered around now as they looked at the destroyed Probe Droid now laid on the table in front of their couch, R2 scanned at the Probe Droid as Cyborg worked on the monitor, trying to follow the signal the probe droid sent before eventually finding it on satellites.
"Before this thing was destroyed it sent out a distress signal, and whatever got it is coming our way. And by the looks of it…it is BIG!" Said Cyborg.
"Can we get any kind of visual on it?" Asked Rex as Cyborg nodded.
"Should be in view of our satellites…NOW" Said the Cyborg as the image of the three Separatist Dreadnaughts came on screen.
Ahsoka glared as did Rex, R2 only let out a nervous beep as he backed up and towards Starfire who tapped him on the top of his dome.
Anakin now looked to Robin who was against the console and looking up at the screen "Robin…Titans…" began Anakin as all eyes turned to him "this is where the fun begins…" he said confidently as it was clear to all in that room…battle was coming…
The Tactical Droid now stood up from its position and walked over to a B1-Battle Droid Commander who saluted him.
"You will take a light company of infantry forces down and raid the island and eliminate the Jedi and their newfound native allies. We cannot land tanks since the terrain is so rocky. We will provide limited naval support with our vulture droids" Explained the Tactical Droid
"Roger Roger!" Said the Battle Droid Commander as we now flash to the sudden departure of a C7-999 and its sudden movement to Earth.
The Tactical Droid watched as it then went to back to its seat and looked to a Battle Droid Technician.
"Find the Probe Droid and use it to open a communication network. I will speak with these natives."
Back on Earth the Probe Droid began to beep, it being connected to the Titans main computer now.
"Looks like someone's trying to talk" Said Cyborg.
"Let them speak" said Robin in a very serious tone as the screen went to static…before eventually displaying the Tactical Droid on screen.
"Greetings Natives. We know you are harboring enemies of the Separatist Alliance. Surrender them now and we will not have to take action against your planet" Ordered the Droid.
"That's NOT happening…you and your Separatist Army have no cause to come down here other than to destroy and conquer. We know who YOU are…and the TEEN TITANS will defeat you if you even step foot on Earth or in our city" Responded Robin, not afraid at all of the droid.
It stood there for a moment, processing what he said before it understood.
"Die well…Teen Titans" it said as the communication line suddenly ended.
"Well this is epic…we're fighting a ROBOT ARMY…from SPACE! I don't know if I should be SCARED…or totally GEEKING out right now" Admitted Beast Boy.
"Focus" Said Robin sternly as it was now shown that the Titans and their Republic allies were now planning and prepping.
"We have 15 minutes max right now before the Droid landing craft arrives" said Rex "most likely they'll be sending a company to attack us since that's what a C7999 craft will hold."
"There will be light units and likely no heavy tanks or vehicles since they have no room to land them on the island" added Ahsoka.
"Which means move fast and take as many as you can while avoiding their fire from the heavier droids" said Anakin to which the Titans responded with a nod as they went out now, Raven showing some awe even with Anakin taking charge.
Standing outside they now saw the C7999 craft descending, getting closer to their island. Rex and CT-1776 taking cover and pointing out where they think the craft would likely begin sending troops.
"Hey that things not that big!" Said Beast Boy as it got closer and was INDEED BIGGER than Beast Boy estimated.
"You just HAD to say it" Said Raven as she shot an annoyed look at Beast Boy and a small anime nervous sweat shot from his face as he looked at the landing craft now.
It wasn't long before the craft 'landed', more so hovering over Titans island uneven edges. Sitting in the command room of the ship was the Battle Droid Commander.
"Send our first attack wave!" It ordered.
The ships ramped opened up now as a formation of B1 Battle Droids marched on out, several racks from under the wings opening and several B2 Super Battle Droids activating their wrist blasters and marching.
It wasn't long before the Droids were in a formation.
The Droid Commander now looked over the battlefield.
"OPEN FIRE!" It ordered as the Droids now began to march forward and began firing at the Titans and Republic Heroes.
"TITANS GO!" Ordered Robin as they all moved forward as Anakin and Ahsoka deflected the Droid blaster bolts, and the Clones began firing.
"Azarath METRION ZINTHOS!" Yelled Raven as she used several spells to smash various droids and throw them around their formation, Cyborg and Starfire respectfully shooting at them, Beast Boy turning into a rhino and smashing droids left and right, and of course Robin using Kung Fu to smash a few B1 Battle Droids down.
He then went to smash a B2 Super Battle Droid with his staff, only for it to only cause the massive droid to slightly lose balance.
"Huh?" went Robin as the Droid now looked at him as used its blaster wrist to try to blast him, him of course dodging to get behind it, where he managed to throw an explosive birdarang into its back.
"I am hit!" went the Droid, grabbing at its back before a few seconds later EXPLODING.
Back in the bridge of the Command Ship the Battle Droid Commander and several other droid technicans looked forward.
"Uh sir…I don't think these natives are harmless" said one Droid.
"Shut up…" said the Commander "deploy the Destroyer Droids and send the next wave!"
Several Droidekas now rolled out of the C7-999 craft and formed a firing line and activated, their automatic shields now coming up as they began firing at the Titans as another line of Droids marched forward.
"Raven! Set up a shield!" Yelled Anakin as Raven used her magic to make a barrier and deflect the Droid fire.
"They got us PINNED!" Said CT-1776 as he shot several blasts at the Droidekas to no avail.
Anakin looked around now for a solution, suddenly sighting some rocks to use.
"Beast Boy, Snips, Star!" Yelled Anakin "Throw those rocks at the Destroyer Droids!"
"Yes master!" Said Ahsoka as she and Anakin used the force to throw said rocks, Starfire picking up and yeeting a rock, and Beast Boy throwing two in the form of a gorilla.
The rocks FLEW and then CRUSHED the Destroyer Droid and various other nearby Battle Droids.
"Uh-oh…" went the Commander as it watched the rest of the company of droids get destroyed before its eyes "Uh…call in the vulture droids to cover our retreat."
"Roger Roger" went one of the Droid techinicans.
The ships ramp now began to lift as the ship was ascending again.
"They're trying to get away!" Said Cyborg shooting at the Ship.
"Starfire! Raven! Beast Boy! Go wreck that thing!" Ordered Robin as the three went to it, Starfire and Raven flying as Beast Boy became an eagle.
"What can fly with no wings? AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS!" Said Raven as she used her magic to tear at the wings of the ship.
Vulture Droids now flew in and began firing at the three as Starfire swooped up and around between them, using her starbolts and eye blasts to destroy the vulture droids.
Phew Phew!
BOOOMM!
Raven continued to tear the ship now literally causing one of the wings to get RIPPED OFF, sparks shooting out as a few explosions rang as she used the dislodged wing to hit at the ship.
"Uh-Oh…UH-OH!" Went the Battle Droid Commander as they were losing altitude now.
The final blow came as Beast Boy flew up as an eagle and then became a STEGOARUS and flew down hard AND SMASHED INTO THE SHIP, causing it completely STOP WORKING and CRASH INTO THE SEA!
"OH YEAH!" Said Cyborg as the three Titans flew back now.
"Victory! WE have WON!" Happily, shouted Starfire.
"We beat a robot army! Didn't think I'd ever do that!" Said Beast Boy.
Ahsoka smiled at Robin who just smirked back
"You and the Titans did great!"
"We did…but we couldn't have done it without you…or Anakin" Admitted Robin who looked at Skywalker "that call with the rocks was great."
"Thank you…while we won today, we do need to keep our guard up. Knowing the Droids this won't be all they send our way" admitted Anakin as he took a bit more serious tone and crossed his arms, looking back at Raven briefly who now had her hood off and was looking at him.
Eventually the Titans dispersed, and it was just Raven and Anakin as Anakin looked out and towards the ocean the crashed C-799 craft.
"Uh…General Skywalker…" she asked
"Please Raven…its just Anakin" he said with a bit of a smirk.
"I would like to apologize for earlier I…"
"Have a hard time trusting people, which makes you almost negative to new people. I understand. I know you don't dislike me but are cautious" responded the Jedi
"Yeah…" she admitted "but trust has to start somewhere. While there's still a lot, we don't know about you, Ahsoka, and the Clones…what I've seen so far…I think I can start maybe trusting you…besides it took me a whole month to trust and stop hating Beast Boy."
Anakin smirked as he walked toward and the two now walked back towards Titans Tower
Back in space on the Separatist Dreadnaught, the Tactical Droid sat in its throne, it had watched the battle from its screen and knew they had lost. It was currently calculating its next move when a Droid walked up.
"Sir…a ship has come out of hyperspace"
"I do not care. I am planning our next attack" Replied the Tactical Droid.
"But sir…it's a Providence class ship, and its clearance code is QUITE HIGH"
The Tactical Droid now looked up, perked by the fact this ship was very important "what is the ships name?"
"The Invisible Hand sir" responded the Battle Droid "you are being requested aboard, a shuttle has already been prepared."
The Tactical Droid stood up, it knew WHO that shipped belong to and knew it was required to meet the individual who commanded the Invisible Hand.
Flashing a bit forward we now see the shuttle with the Tactical Droid leave the Dreadnaught and fly over to the Invisible Hand. Landing in the docking bay, several IG-100 Magna Guard droids waiting as the shuttle descended and the Tactical Droid exited.
"Greeting Captain. HE is waiting for you." Said one of the Magna Guards as it escorted the Tactical Droid through the ship to a very dimly lit room.
Several green monitors lit the room as there was only a throne and in it…sat a mechanical yet shadowed individual, aside from an outline the only distingiuable feature were his yellow reptilian eyes.
"General I…"
"Silence…I AM already WELL AWARE of your FAILURE COMMANDER" the voice was mechanical and hollow, not quite a droid but more fearsome and more alive than a droid could ever be. The individual now stood up and began to walk towards the Tactical Droid, his mechanical body creaking and making technical noises as he moved.
"You FAILED. You were defeated by two Jedi, one of whom was INJURED during your destruction of his ship, with just TWO CLONE TROOPERS and some FILTHY natives…you have NO EXCUSES"
"But sir, the natives they have allied with are not like anything in our databases…I am unable to fully compute a good strategy and…"
At that moment the shadowy figure reached out his mechanical claw and GRABBED the Tactical Droid by the throat and began to squeeze and crush the droid's neck, it struggling a bit.
"I don't care. Whoever they are…they will SUCUMB to the Separatist Droid Army under MY COMMAND" He now CRUSHED the Droids neck fully as it now went limp and the individual dropped the droid.
"These Teen Titans I will CRUSH them first and make them pay for helping Skywalker and his little pet, and this new planet Earth…will soon be under Separatist Control…" Said the shadowy figure as he now looked at a map of the Earth and began to slightly cackle as he now moved, his cape covering the screen and showing only darkness.
