I have recently experienced something rather horrific. Something I thought I would never see in America. I've seen it a lot in Port au Prince, I heard a lot about it here, but I never thought I would see a man die in my arms. Robin Gran was a homeless man who lost his family to an unfortunate accident misfortune plagued his every step. You would think that someone who has seen corpses, killings, and even died themselves would be used to death. I hope I never get used to it, I hope never reach the point where I find it okay to take a person's life.

Pa once told me a story about his friend who died. It was a shooting accident his friend's brother found a gun and they were playing with it and it went off and a bullet went through his neck. He says that he was afraid of guns for a long while until he joined the army. One of the first things he taught me was that a gun's job is not to kill but rather to defend and provide. I took my gun with me that night not with the intention to use it but to defend myself in the worst timeline.

I was lucky that Robin Gran was a good person even if he almost killed Daniel. Daniel himself has forgiven him so should I. I plan to look for the poor animals' souls that Gran killed in his magic stupor. The "creature" I caught is pretty restless, but I believe I came up with a solution to send it back.

A sort of improvised ritual I created a faux summoning circle but it sends things to the afterlife rather than bring them from it.

Magic Entry 002

I like to think of magic as an undiscovered element y'know another form of energy that could be harnessed.

Yesterday I did a little experimentation that I tried out last night. I figured that if I assign certain actions to certain words like chòk with well shock. It tends to have a stronger effect and really differs from language to language as to chòk and shock. Shock is more of a visible electricity aspect and works on electronics and Chòk is sort of a sneaky attack that feels painful.

Here's a list:

Shock-Chòk-Choque-Choc

Speak-Pale-Decir-Parler

See-Gade-Ver-Voir

Shock is pretty self-explanatory

Speak is a pretty tell-all "spell" if you can even call it that. It allows me to hear the voices of things like animals, ghosts, and objects. Not everything has a voice but it's pretty convenient if you lost something or your bird is acting weird.

See is sort of like speak you can use it to see where something is or to see from the subject's perspective. Like a Seer I assigned It to see because it encompasses more things and I'm lazy.
