Gyokko was growling. He had continuously attacked Hotaru, inflicting him with multiple wounds and even taking his left eye. However, despite all this, the swordsmith continued to polish the sword.
"(Damn him! Damn him! This man! This human! He still won't stop honing after all I've done to him! Even when I destroyed his eye, he kept honing without so much as crying out!)" Gyokko thought before looking down at Kozo's wounded form. "(I know! If I tell him I'm going to kill that one…)" he thought before being interrupted as he dodged an attack from Muichiro as Gyokko saw both him and Gemini free only to find a cut on his body. "(They escaped the Water Prison Pot! How on earth? I have no idea! I thought their deaths were imminent, so my mind wasn't on them at all! No, wait a second. On the other hand, that shows how focused I was! Yes! Hm? Hold on, hold on, hold on! What is that mark on the boy's face? According to the information Lord Muzan gave me, the child with the earrings also has a similar mark! No! Never mind that! How can you stand there looking so nonchalant? My attack should've paralyzed your body! How were you able to summon greater speed to wound me?)"
"You're about to become sushi…you freaky faced…freak." Gemini said as she and Muichiro dashed towards Gyokko
"Blood Demon Art: Octopus Vase Hell!" Gyokko said summoning more pots as out of them came gigantic octopus tentacles that tore the workshop apart.
"Yep, he's mad!" Gemini said, as she avoided the tentacles.
"Stay focused, Gemini! This is your first battle against an Upper Rank demon without any assistance from the others!" Kagane said as he slashed some tentacles to pieces with Yoshistune's blades.
"I know! But strangely enough, I'm not all that worried!" Gemini replied.
"You should be!" Gyokko declared. "I was holding back before, because you all gave me such inspiration…but the time for gratitude has passed! A Demon Slayer of your experience has no chance on her lonesome against the likes of me!"
"You might be right about that… but it ain't just me that's the only Demon Slayer here, now is it?" Gemini asked.
"Mist Breathing… Fifth Form… Sea of Clouds and Haze!" Muichiro called as he ran forward, slicing through the tentacles in the blink of an eye before slashing at Gyokko's neck as he retreated up to a tree branch.
"That's some speed and precision…" Gemini marveled.
"Hahaha. Seems you can't keep up with my pot's speed after all." Gyokko taunted.
"Care to check again?" Kagane asked.
"Huh?" Gyokko said before seeing a nick in his neck as he held it.
"Guess you're getting slow in your old age." Gemini said.
"I'm going to slash you next time. We have better things to do than playing your stupid vase game all day." Muichiro said, aiming his new blade at Gyokko.
"Don't underestimate me, you brat!" Gyokko said before popping up behind him and launching a water attack.
"Oh no y'dont!" Gemini said. "Flame Breathing- Mifune Sword Style! Third Star: Trailblazer!" she called out as she slashed at the vases. "Like him, I don't wanna play with your stupid pots all day…your stupid…tacky…vases." she said with a smirk.
Gyokko looked at the samurai enraged as he summoned thousands of slime-fish. "Blood Demon Art: Ten Thousand Gliding Slime-fish!"
"Kagane, Muichiro! If he doesn't have his projects, he's got nowhere to go! Don't focus on the fish, take out the vases!" Gemini said.
"I see!" Muichiro said as he jumped to a tree before jumping off it. "Mist Breathing: Sixth Form." he said as he slashed up a large number of them. "Lunar Dispersing Mists."
"Hassou Tobi!" Kagane called as his eyes gleamed red before he slashed in eight different directions in a single stroke.
"What?! They slashed them all at once?!" Gyokko said. "No matter. Before those fish turn to dust, they'll disperse more poison. It's transdermal so it'll get into the skin."
"Mist Breathing: Third Form…" Muichiro said as he dispersed the fish and poison. "Scattering Mist Slash!"
Gyokko was shocked, and looked at his three opponents in anger.
"Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide." Gemini said.
"You think that you've beaten me because you've destroyed my vases and thwarted my poison?" Gyokko asked. "I'll give you credit, only two other people have managed to pushed me this far. But they fell…to this!" he declared, as he shed his skin and entered a different form, which bore heavy resemblance to that of a merman. "Witness my true form!"
Gyokko then lashed out at the trio, trying to skewer them with a trident with every strike.
"It's not only his vases and fish. But his strikes too." Gemini said before noticing parts of where he hit and where he slashed, her clothes turned to fish.
"Hehehehe! Whatever I touch becomes the most amazing fish you've seen!" Gyokko said. "With my speed, elegance, strength…I am unstoppable!"
"Oh…well…how do I put this? Even the most powerful or jaw dropping move…is pretty useless if you can't even hit your mark." Gemini said as she and the other two smirked.
The trio leapt down from the tree and dashed towards the Upper Rank, Gyokko's body glowing red. "Blood Demon Art: Killer Fish Scales!" he called his attack as he encircled the three, moving too quickly for any of them to get a clear hit in.
"Mist Breathing: Seventh Form…" Muichiro said as a mist rolled in, obscuring the three. "Obscuring Clouds." he said as the three seemingly vanished.
Gyokko attempted to hit the three anytime he saw them, only to hit mist instead as he grew more and more afraid. "What the hell?! Where did those brats go? It's like the whole area is shrouded in mist!"
"So tell me…" he heard Muichiro's voice say.
"What made you think…" Gemini's voice joined him as the two emerged from out of the mist.
"...that you were the only one not taking this fight seriously?"
Gyokko was so taken off his game that easily as the two walked right past him, his head rolling right off his body after having been sliced clean off by the duo.
"There they are. They've foolishly shown themselves. But…why can't I sense anything?" Gyokko said before he came to realize what had happened after hitting the ground. "What?! I've been beheaded? Me? Of all people? Losing to these uneducated mountain apes?! I lost to them?!"
"Hey." Gemini said. "Do us a favor and shut your eye-mouths already, wouldja?"
"And please…don't reincarnate." Muichiro added.
"Give your fellow demons our regards in the river Styx." Kagane finished.
"You…!" Gyokko screamed before Kagane swiftly diced his head into multiple pieces, leaving only his eyes as they faded to dust.
"Enjoy your trip…straight to the pits of hell." Muichiro said.
"(Judgment.)" Kagane said in Japanese as he pointed his thumb down.
Upper Moon Five, Gyokko

"Are you all alright?!" Kozo asked as he approached, holding Muichiro's sheath.
"Little banged up, but yeah, were good." Gemini said before remembering. "Oh, dangit that's right! The poison in Muichiro! He was probably runnin' on adrenaline this whole time."
"Salvation." Kagane said as a rainbow light washed over Muichiro. "I've purged the poison but he should still rest and see a medic."
"Yeah…he really pushed himself so….wait! We came here to get help against that dividing demon!" Gemini said.
"Hotaru's still polishing Tanjiro's sword. And Hayase went to give the sword to David. Plus we've both run close to empty after that battle. We'd only end up getting in the way if we head back now." Kagane said.
"Dang it, you're right. Guess…all we can do is trust in the others now, huh?" Gemini said.
