Suzuno sat in her room as Lucifer laid on the floor, enjoying the breeze from her fan. The door opened and Ashiya walked in, having returned from dropping Chiho off at home. "I feel bad for forcing her home, but we cannot let her get involved in this matter." Suzuno declared before looking up. "Alciel, I need to ask you something."

"If you want rent, forget it." He snapped back.

"Not that, you buffoon." She replied. "It's about the Devil King of yours back home. What drove you to attempt you to conquer the world? What went through your mind as you went about subjugating the land?"

Ashiya sighed before turning his head. "I have to say, I envy your refrigerator." He said, confusing the inquisitor. "Each time you crack it open, the produce and dairy are perfectly perserved. If you're low, you can resupply, go home and feast. In all likelihood, we invaded Enta Isla for something like that. We'd do anything for it.

"If you don't understand, that's quite all right with me. If every last one of us works hard, we can return home soon. And we can continue our dream. Do you understand me, Urushihara?"

The NEET turned his head in annoyance before returning to the fan. "Don't worry. I'll work for you when I can."

"You leech."

The Next Day

As the sun cracked through the curtain, Natsu yawned as he pushed himself up, rolling his shoulder. "Damn it, I'm sore." He groaned, rolling his arm. 'No telling when Gabby shows up…' The Dragon Slayer looked over and petted the child's head. 'Not a chance in hell is he getting Alas Ramus.'

"Mornin', sunshine." Natsu turned around and found the angel in the room. Pushing himself up, Natsu dropped into a fighting stance, only for Gabriel to cover his mouth. "Shush. I'm not going to do anything stupid, okay?"

"Says the guy who broke into the room." The Dragon Slayer growled back.

"Didn't we agree that we would talk this out yesterday?" Gabriel reminded him.

"You want Alas Ramus and Emi's sword, right?" His question received a nod for an answer. "Then you're not getting either of them. Anyone messes with my friends gets roasted."

"Is that because I've got wings?" The angel asked, pointing to his feathers.

"Keep it down…" Maou mumbled as he and Emi woke up. "It's only five in the- holy crap! Why are you here!?" He grabbed Alas Ramus as Emi summoned her sword.

"Sorry, didn't mean to disturb your slumber." Gabriel declared, the tip of Emi's Sacred Sword pointed at his neck.

"Leave now, or we'll disturb your face." Maou snapped back, his 'daughter' waking up.

"There's the nitty gritty." The guardian smirked back. "If you won't give the kid and the sword, I'm fine taking one or the other." His words shocked the trio as Gabriel crossed his arms. "See, Yesod was split into fragments when it was stolen. It's my duty to find the pieces, and trust me, they're all over. There's one."

He pointed at Alas Ramus before turning to Emi. "And there's another." Emi seemed stunned at his words. "Wait, you mean you never wondered what that purple crystal was?" He grabbed the blade and pulled it tight. "Give up. The sword can't defeat me in it's current form."

"Well, how about this!?" Natsu swung his fist towards the face, only for Gabriel to catch it. He pushed it aside and Natsu flew into the fridge, twisting the metal door. "Ow!"

Outside the room, Ashiya banged on the door, trying to force himself in. "Now that I've spelt it out, wanna give me one?"

Maou set his kid down and then surprised everyone by bowing at Gabriel. "Just leave Alas Ramus alone!" He begged. "If you do, you can take my head. Good deal, if you ask me."

"Don't be such a moron!" Emi shouted. "If anyone gets your head, it's gonna be me!"

"Well, this is a turn of events." Gabriel chuckled. "Tell me... Why would the Devil King offer his own head for the life of a young girl he barely knows?"

"I was saved from a really terrible place. Her shard became a symbol of hope to me." Maou explained. "Somewhere along the way, I forgot about all of that. But now that I have her back, I'll keep her!"

"Look, that was really touching, but she belongs in-"

"Oh please, I know all about the legend of the ancient king Satan." Maou cut him off. "I can't let her go with you. I refuse."

"Okay… quick change of plans." Maou was suddenly lifted off the ground, gasping for air. "I've heard your case, time for me to take out the demon trash. It's your own fault for mentioning that legend. And once you're dead, you'll have no reason to carry that sacred sword. Sounds pretty good, right Emilia?"

"Piss off!" The Hero snapped back. "I don't care about angels or what heaven wants! I'm going to be the one who cuts the Devil King Satan down, not you!"

"Get out!" Natsu pushed himself free of the metal and kicked Gabriel in the face, forcing the angel to let go of the blade.

"Fine. Now you all get to die." The angel glared as he clenched his fist, choking Maou even harder.

"STOP IT!" Alas Ramus suddenly rushed in front of Maou. "I hate you, bad guy!"

"No, I'm the good guy." Gabriel clarified before slightly spreading his white wings. "Look at my wings."

"You're a big ol' liar!" The child snapped back, her hair rising up as the mark appeared on her head. "Malkut told me everything you did. You all became gods because of your lies. You took my fwiends away from me. You locked us up. And worse, you were mean to Mama, Dada and Unki! I HATE YOU BAD GUY!"

She glowed in a bright yellow right before suddenly slamming into the angel, destroying the wall behind them. "Since when could she do that!?" Natsu asked in shock.

"Better question is where did she go!?" Emi replied. "Divine Boots of Flight!" Wind whipped around her feet before she took off into the sky.

"I'm coming too!" Natsu roars and he jumps through the hole. "Happy, let's go!"

.

.

.

Natsu looks back with his arms and legs spread out as he realizes one thing…

…Oh. Right… Happy isn't here..." Natsu says before he screams in terror, falling to the ground and crashing with a loud thud. "Ow!"

The door finally burst open as Alciel and Suzuno raced in, Maou coughing from his forceful choking. "Sire, are you alright!?"

"They all just took off!" He shouted back. "Suzuno, get me up there."

Instantly, the flock of angels blocked the hole in the wall. "Halt, human! None shall interfere with Lord Gabriel!"

"Wow. Quite an attitude you have there." The three turned to see Urushihara standing in the doorway. "Do you even know who you're talking to?… Move." The angels moved to the side and sheathed their blades. "You guys should be fine now."

Ashiya was stunned by the sudden usefulness of the gamer. "How did you…?"

"Did you forget what I used to be?" Lucifer asked, showing his black wings. "Before I fell, I was the leader of the archangels. A bunch of heavenly regiment lackeys aren't about to defy me."

"What do you know… you're actually useful sometimes." Maou said.

"You don't have to add 'sometimes', Maou." Lucifer groaned in annoyance.

"C'mon, Suzuno!"

"Very well. Climb onto the head of the hammer!" She declared before she jumped off, Maou clinging to the weapon. "Hang on tight!"

A lone woman pushed her curtain aside to let the sun in. As she yawned, Gabriel and Alas Ramus flew past her window, confusing her. "Must be the drugs…" She mumbled, going back to bed.

Not far behind, Emilia flew after the pair as fast as she could. "GET AWAY FROM MY BABY!"

"Trust me, I'd love to!" Gabriel said back, keeping himself from being speared in the gut. He moved aside and let Alas Ramus fly past him, only to get hit in the back. He managed to stop his momentum before hitting the ground and flew from the child.

"Alas Ramus, are you okay?" Emi asked.

"She's great! I'M the one getting walloped." Gabriel said back before summoning his sword again. Alas Ramus stopped mid-flight and flew over towards Emi.

"Careful, Mama. That sword is real strong!"

"So that's Durandal, the sword of Gabriel…" Emi mumbled.

"Bingo." The angel declared. "Built to last and can slice through just about anything like butter. Pretty awesome." One swing and Emi's sacred sword was sliced in half. "As Yesod's supervisor, I refuse to let that shard slip away from me again. One move against me, hero, and I'll be forced to bring the wrath of heaven down on your tush."

Maou suddenly crashed into Gabriel, sending the two tumbling through the sky. "Emi! Do it! Kill us both!"

"You idiot! There's no way I can do that in front of the kid!" She shouted back.

"This is your only chance!" Maou declared before getting kicked in the gut. Gabriel flew away as Maou started to plummet, forcing Suzuno to rush over.

"Mama…" Alas Ramus spoke up as she turned to Emi. "Are you and Dada gonna be togethwr forwvwr?"

"…Yeah, and Uncle Natsu too." She promised with a nod.

"Yay!" The baby hugged her mama before she started glowing. Silver boots and gauntlets formed onto the Hero as her sword regained its blade.

"Sorry, Gabriel. But it looks like you're going home empty handed." She declared.

"Well I'll be. Looks like the Church gave you more than one piece of Heavenly Sliver." The angel chuckled. "Someone's a lucky girl. But that luck ends here."

Emi suddenly rushed past him, a cut appearing on his arm. "Looks like angels bleed red just as we do." She said while Gabriel freaked out. "Now go home. I have no intention of meddling with the affairs of heave, I just don't to see that girl cry."

"Sorry, but it doesn't work that way." Gabriel nervously said. "I'm not exactly in a position to just turn around and leave, y'know."

"So, you still want to fight me with that sword?" Emi questioned as the blade was suddenly cut in half.

"Fine… but I'm not giving up." He held our his hand and a portal appeared behind him. "With time, I'll collect every single shard of Yesod, including yours." He sank into the swirl mass as Emi floated to the ground.

Suzuno rushed over to her friend as Natsu panted in exhaustion. "Finally… Made it…" He huffed. "So where is that feather freak!?"

"Gabriel's gone." Emi declared.

"Aw, man!" He huffed in annoyance. "I was hoping to get in a couple hits!"

"Hey! Emi! Where's Alas Ramus?" Maou asked, forcing Emilia to turn away in shame. "No way…" He dropped to his knees in shock as Emi gripped her sword.

'What am I supposed to do now?'

Hours had passed since the battle and Maou was still in shock of Alas Ramus' passing. Inside a small coffee shop, Emi and Natsu sat across from Chiho. "Did you hear about what happened this morning?" Emi asked.

"I stopped by the apartment." The high-schooler replied. "Did… did the bad guy take her away?"

"…This wouldn't have happened if I was stronger." The Hero declared.

"Don't talk like that!" Natsu growled back. "If anyone's to blame, it's me. I was freakin' useless today. I should have punched that bastard out cold the second he showed his stupid chicken wings."

"Unki Natsu! Don't say bad words!"

"Right. Sorry." Natsu apologized before both his and Chiho's eyes went wide. Looking under the table, the two found Alas Ramus sitting on the ground before she crawled over to Chiho.

"Hi, Chimi!"

"How the!?"/"Alas Ramus!?" Both were in total shock as the girl climbed into the seat next to Chi.

"Wait, I thought you said she was gone." Natsu questioned his 'sister'.

"Honestly, I don't even know how to explain it." Emi confessed. "During the fight with Gabriel, Alas Ramus… ate my sword." Chi and Natsu tilted their heads in confusion. "Just watch." The Hero held out her hand and the child turned into a golden powder before transforming into a short dagger in her hand. "Alas Ramus became one with my sword and armor."

"Unki, Chimi. Do I look cool?" The living shard asked.

"That is freakin' awesome!" Natsu's eyes sparkle in awe.

"But why you didn't tell everyone else she's okay?" Chiho asked. "Mr. Maou was so depressed, he barely got anything done today."

"I'm sorry, but I think he would benefit from a taste of what it's like to lose something precious to him." Emi confessed. "But the truth is… I have my own problem now. This might seem cute right now, but it'll suck when I defeat the devil. I'll have no choice but to make Alas Ramus kill her dad…"

Emi grabbed her head in frustration as Alas Ramus returned to normal, landing in Natsu's lap. "I mean, you could always try not killing him."

"I have an idea of what you should do first." Chiho said, catching Emi's attention.

Maou's Apartment

The Devil King sat outside his broken home, the funeral fire burning once again. "You're resorting to arson now?" Emi teased as the three blocked the setting sun.

"I don't feel like talking to you today." Maou dryly replied. "Leave."

"And after I came all the way here to show you something." She held out her hand and Alas Ramus landed in front of Maou before hugging him.

"What the- how?" He asked, hugging the child to his chest. "This isn't some messed up prank, is it?"

"Hey, Emi was going to let you cry about it for a few more days." Natsu spoke up. "Me and Chiho convinced her to actually be nice to you."

"That was not it!" The Hero huffed with a small blush. "It's because someone demanded to see dada- wait, are you crying?"

Maou felt his face and found tears flowing from his eyes. "Dada, did you get booboo?" The child asked in concern.

"Your daddy is just really happy to see you again." Chiho said with a smile. "Right, Mr. Maou?"

A blush on his face, Maou wiped his tears away before running up the stairs. "These are't tears! I'm sweating from my eyes! I knew she was here the entire time!" He slammed the door on them as Chiho chuckled.

One Week Later

Maou's Apartment

A depressed Maou opened the hallway door with Chiho behind him. The damage from the battle still hadn't been repaired, but what surprised him was the fact that Emi and Natsu were helping Chiho move some boxes. "Hold on, are you moving out, Suz?"

"Never refer to me by that nick-name again." She requested.

"Shouldn't you be doing the same?" Natsu asked, confusing the new arrivals.

Suzuno walked forward and reached into her robes sleeve. "Read this." She pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to the Devil King. "Refrain from fainting like Alciel."

"'Residents, due to upcoming maintenance, I ask that you temporarily vacate the premises-' VACATE!?" He shouted in shock.

"You received that notice two weeks ago." Suzuno added. "I'm moving in with good Emilia and Natsu for the time being but, I-"

Maou marched past her and walked into his own room, finding Ashiya and Hanzo on the ground in shock. Ashiya pushed himself up, hopeful for some relief by his king. "Is this a bad time to mention that I'm gonna be jobless for a little while?" Maou nervously asked, causing his general to faint all over again.

Hanzo forced himself up and placed a box between him and Maou. "The landlady sent this the same time she gave us that letter." He said.

"You gonna open it or not?" Emi asked, ripping the tape and packaging off. Opening the box, she found only a video tape.

"Too bad that tech is virtually extinct in Japan." Lucifer declared. "We have no way to watch it here. So let's pretend we never got it. If it's anything like her postcard, we'll be better off without ever seeing it."

"I think my family still has an old VHS player." Chiho spoke up. "Wanna watch it at my place?"

Sasaki Residence

"If it isn't the famous Maou!" Chiho's mother cheered, much to her daughter's embarrassment. "And you two must be Emi and Nate Yusa, am I right?"

"Thank you for having us." The Devil King replied. "Again, I'm sorry we brought this up on such short notice. Please, take this as a token of appreciation." He offered her a bag and the mother took it.

"Aw, you're just as sweet as Chiho tells me you are." The older woman chuckled as waved them in. Quickly reaching the living room, Chiho put the tape in and pressed play.

The first thing that came onto the screen was a pyramid. "Egypt? Talk about fancy."

The landlady walked into view looking like a cheap version of Cleopatra. "I've heard that you boys have gotten into a bit of trouble. Fortunately for you, repairs are a landlady's responsibility. However, you'll need to leave the apartment for a bit while Mommy cleans up."

Natsu looked over from his spot on the couch to find Maou about to hurl chunks. "In return I have something to ask of you. I have a niece just outside of Chiba. She runs an adorable little snack shack down by the sea side. All I ask is that you young men go and lend her a hand. Just call the number right here…"

A number appeared in the screen and Maou quickly dialed the number. "Sorry for calling so late. I just got word from Miss Shiba that you have a job opening?" He said on the phone. "Sorry. Our communication had some… hiccups… Maybe. I'd a few more details about the gig. All I know is that it's at a beach."

A pen and paper were given to him by Chiho's mom and he quickly wrote down the information. "TEN THOUSAND A DAY!? Sounds great! How many workers you need?… 3 strapping young men…" He hung up the phone and turned to the family members. "It's a done deal. We start working the day after tomorrow."

"On the phone… you said you were bringing three men?" Chiho questioned. "Does that include Urushihara?"

"Ashyia and I will have to cover for his slack." Maou mumbled.

"MY EYES! MY EYES!"

The four looked to find Natsu on the ground, trying to claw his eyes out. "Nate, what's wrong!?" Emi asked. Maou suddenly fell over onto the table, pointing his finger weakly at the tv.

Maou Apartment

"What happn to Dada and Unki?" Alas Ramus asked from Urushihara's back.

"Was it really a cursed tape?" Ashiya asked, picking up Maou.

"Cursed, my ass." Emi huffed with her 'brother' on her shoulder. "What kind of man dances because of some girl dancing? That's just rude."

"D-dancing…" Lucifer mumbled in fear.

"Well, good news for you dweebs. You got a place to live and work." Emi declared, turning to the Fallen Angel. "All of you."

"What!? No way!" Lucifer snapped back as Alas Ramus jumped to her 'mother'. "It's too hot to work on the beach. We're gonna melt."

"Maybe think of this as rehabilitation." Suzuno spoke up. "Once you come out of this, you won't be such a hot mess."

"Back off. I've never had a real job before." He snapped back. "I'll probably just get in the way."

"Mama, help him." Alas Ramus requested. "No bully por Losefier."

"Screw you, guys! I can work just as hard, if not harder than Maou!" He shouted back, huffing away.

The two girls carried Natsu and Alas out of the room and into Suzuno's apartment. "I'm surprised you assisted the Devil King today." The Grand Inquisitor confessed.

"If he gets desperate, who knows what they might do." Emi rationalized. "Let's not forget Lucifer has a history of making trouble for Japan."

"Understood. Should we attempt to follow them?" Suzuno suggested. "If they start any trouble, we won't reach them quick enough from here."

"You're right…" The Hero nodded. "But I can't just take time off all of a sudden. We need a reason to follow them…"

"P-pocket…" Natsu mumbled, catching their attention. "Back… pocket…" Suzuno rolled him over to his side and pulled out a crumpled pamphlet.

Emi crawled over to look as Suzuno opened up the paper only for both girls to stare in surprise at the contents. "You have GOT to be kidding me!" Emi shouted in shock.

"Kitty?" Alas Ramus innocently asked.

Three Days Later

Train Station

The three demons stared in shock as they looked across at Suzuno, Natsu and Emi holding Alas Ramus, suitcases next to them. "Oh, look. They're coming to Choushi too." Chiho said with a smile.

"What are you three doing here!?" Maou asked in annoyance.

"Yeah… that one's on me…" Natsu chuckled, reaching into his pocket. "Someone at my job signed me up for this, and the boss tells me I have to go."

Maou took the paper and opened it up, letting the other three look at it. "'Best Body Battle'?" Lucifer read aloud. "Surprised you didn't throw a fit, Emi."

"Why should I care?" She huffed back, trying to hid a blush. "It's not like I can stop this stupid thing. I'm going to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid."

"Can we just get this over with?" Natsu asked, his face a sickly green as he stared at the train. "Not looking forward to going there anymore than you are."

After what felt like an eternity riding that damn torture device called a train, twice, the group managed to pull Natsu out of the second train as they arrived at the Choushi station. "Oh god… I'm hate this stupid world." Natsu gasped out on the ground.

"Am I interrupting something?" The group looked up to see a tan-skinned young woman with thigh-length black hair tied in a ponytail and blue eyes looking at them.

"No, he just sucks at riding vehicles." Maou replied. "I guess you must be Ooguro?"

"You got it." She said with smile. "Amane Ooguro, at your service. So uh… who wants to load up Pinky Pukes-a-lot in my ride?" Amane tapped the hood of her car, making Natsu threaten to hurl again.

"Oh, don't be a baby." Emi huffed. "It's just a car."

"So what's with the extra bodies? I thought only three of you were coming." Amane questioned.

"Can't speak for those two…" Lucifer pointed at Emi and Suzuno. "But Chiho here wants to help out. As for him…" He pointed downward at the recovering Dragon Slayer. "Nate here is part of a some beefcake contest being held here."

"Wait, he's in that Beach Body Battle?" The tanned lady asked before turning to Natsu. "Damn, kid. You must really work out! Not many people come out of town for that anymore."

"Yeah, guess so." Natsu chuckled. "So, I guess I'll meet you guys at the place, right? No way all of us can fit in-"

"Sit in the car." Emi ordered.

"Why won't you just kill me?" He asked back before obeying her request.

The ride to the beach hut finally ended and Natsu kissed the sandy ground. "Oh, solid ground! How I missed you!" He cheered.

"Unki weird." Alas Ramus pointed out.

"Not as populated as I would assume." Ashiya said, looking around.

"Well, beach season doesn't start until tomorrow." Amane explained. "You'll only see surfers out here right now. And some people catching the sunrise. But in a couple of days with that contest coming up, this place will filled with people. For now, I'll show you where you boys will be staying. Unload your stuff and then meet me out front. We got some work to do."

Quickly placing the bags on the floor, the group of eight stared up at the empty beach shack. "It dirty." Alas Ramus declared.

"You said the beach opens tomorrow?" Maou asked.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be honest with you guys. We're in trouble." The owner chuckled.

Maou walked into the shack and flipped on the flattop. "Okay, we have power in the kitchen." He said with a smile as he started scrubbing the grill. "Ashiya, you get the floors spick-and-span. I want them totally sand free."

"Of course." He nodded before rushing off.

"Got anything for us?" Emi asked as she, Chi and Natsu walked over.

"Wait, seriously?" The Demon King asked.

"Dude, you're never gonna get this place cleaned with just you and Ashiya." Natsu declared. "Might as well help."

Maou quickly wrote down a small list and handed it off to Emi. "Buy this stuff, but don't spend more than five thousand yen. And keep the receipts."

"I know, I know." She chuckled as she walked away. Suzuno brought Alas Ramus towards the beach as Maou and the others started to clean the shop.

The sun set as the only major source of light came from the lighthouse. Fireworks were a sign of celebration of a job well done as the crew waved around. "Wanna see something?" Chiho asked Alas Ramus, still in her 'mothers' arm. The child nodded and a spinning firework went around before the fire stopped, revealing a paper bird and cage.

"Birdie say 'tweet, tweet, tweet'!" Alas Ramus cheered before looking at the shoreline. "Big lights…"

"Are those fishing boats?" Emi questioned.

"Weird." Maou mumbled walking over. "Back on Ente Isla, fires on the sea are a bad omen."

"Oh, it's just the Moren-Yassa." Ooguro chuckled, confusing the other worlders. "The ghosts of those who died at sea. It's said those lights appear when they're nearby… Still doesn't make any sense to me. Why would ghosts wanna come back here of all places?"

"Maybe they miss their friends." Natsu suggested, covered in sparklers. A deep echo filled the air as Alas Ramus started crying. "Was that a monster!?"

"No, just the foghorn." The owner replied. "Something people put in to stop all the shipwrecks. Fog must be coming in pretty thick now."

"It was so clear just a minute ago…" Maou said, looking out at the sea.

A thick fog hit the land before Amane ushered them back inside. "It's not safe out there like that. Guess we should hit the hay. See ya guys in the morning!"

She went into the back of the hut and closed the door behind her. "She weird." Alas Ramus declared.

"Don't be rude." Emi scolded before she and the other girls went out the door. "You sure you don't want to come to inn with us?" She asked her 'brother'.

"Hell yes." Natsu definitively answered. Emi closed door behind her as he looked out a window, trying to see through the fog. "Wow, it is really thick out there." He mumbled. "We left a lot of stuff out there. Maybe I should-" A harsh scent caught his attention and he burst out of the restaurant.

"Hold up, Natsu!" Maou shouted, following him into the fog. Alciel and Lucifer followed the two before bumping into Maou. Lucifer looked beyond his king and found himself staring up at a massive, red skinned being holding a spiked club fall forward.

"A Cyclops?" Lucifer asked. The giant pushed himself up and started speaking, at the group.

"Guys, to the left!" Natsu spoke up, making the trio turn to see a centaur-like demon suddenly appear next to them, sword at the ready. "You wanna fight?"

"Natsu, stop it!" Maou snapped. "He can't understand you anyway. They don't speak Japanese, remember?" He stepped forward to talk, only for a swirling mass of wind to take the demons into the sky. "The heck was that?"

"Sire, incoming!" Alciel tackled his lord to the ground and Natsu did the same to Lucifer as a thud landed behind them. Sand kicked up and blocked their view as another voice spoke up. The dust faded to show a bird monster in black clothing.

"Camio? Is that you?" Maou asked in surprise before the sky started swirling again. "Quick, get him inside!"

Natsu was the rear guard and ignited his fists as Lucifer flapped his wings, clearing a path. "Let's go!" The gamer shouted before the wizard punched the attacking wind. Rushing inside, Natsu shut the door behind him as the fog started letting up.

"What happened?" Maou questioned before turning to the Tengu, slumped up against the wall. "Camio, are you okay?"

"I don't know who you are, but it seems I've already caused you trouble." He said in shame.

"I get the confusion." Hanzo replied, stepping forward. "These two look like d-bags, and you never meet Natsu, but no way you forgot about me." His wings returned on his back, causing Camio to push himself up.

"Indeed, you're Lucifer." He joyously replied before looking to the side. "And you must be Alciel. Then, you must be…"

"Hey, sorry I've been away for so long." Maou chuckled.

"King Satan himself!" Tears were in eyes as he addressed his lord. "What a glorious stroke of luck!" He dropped to his knees and bowed before Maou. "Forgive me, I was unable to protect the realm in your absence. Chaos has gripped the land once again…" He dropped forward and started glowing, blinding the four men.

It died as quickly as it came, leaving only a tiny bird sleeping in Maou's hand and a sword and clothes on the side. "So… what are we gonna do now?"

Well, this chapter took a while to come out, didn't it? That was not my intention, but… damn my life started sucking when this was going on. Still, I think the whole thing came together well enough. And now that my life is starting to get back on track, hopefully the next one won't take so long. Not much left to say, except see ya next time.
