Ch 103 The Reveal Pt 1

It's been a couple of Days since arriving at the Stone Family Vacation, it was a refreshing place not like the Mansion. However, she likes the fresh air of Mossdeep City, a nice change of pace.

Helena spends her Day helping around the House with Giulia, her Husband Gregor the Gardener around the Gardens. From time to time, she receives cramps which is perfectly normal around this stage of Pregnancy.

She also receives updates from N on the investigation of Team Magma with the former Team Plasma Grunts now the Potter Family Guardians he sent.

It was the middle of the Day, and Helena was baking her Pokepuffs in the Kitchen due to the fact she'd been craving some. Two Months left and she's still having some cravings, "Lile is life, I suppose." Helena sighs,

"Sylve?" Sylveon looks up at her trainer, assisting her with the baking.

"Kirlia, la," Kirlia was there too, using her Psychic to lift the baked Pokepuffs from the Oven. She looks at Helena, hearing her talking to herself.

Helena turns to her Partners, hearing her Words. "Oh. I was thinking out loud Kirlia, Sylveon." She smiles, catching someone entering the Kitchen.

"My, what a lovely aroma. It smells just like a Bakery in here, right Bellsprout?" Giulia walks into the Kitchen with her Partner, smelling the fresh baked goods.

"Bellsprout, Bell." The Grass/Poison-type Pokemon agreed with his trainer.

Helena turns to the Housekeeper, hearing her comment. "I just need to fill them with the Berry Fillings I made," She said, returning her attention to the three different colored bowls. "I'll give everyone some when I'm finished adding the Filling."

Giulia clasps her hands, excited to hear Helena has offered some of her Pokepuffs. "That would be great, Lady Helena. I can say for the both of us and everyone we can't wait," The pink-haired Woman happily said.

Helena heard someone entering the House and walked into the Hallway. "Ah, Steven you're here!" She greeted her Boyfriend, "Guilia is preparing Dinner right now. But there are some leftovers from Lunch if you're hungry. I'm making Pokepuffs as well" She informed him as Sylveon stepped beside her,

"Sylve," The Intertwining Pokemon greeted the Champion of Hoenn,

Steven looks up, giving her a weak smile at his Girlfriend while taking his shoes off before entering. "That sounds great, Helena." He said, still giving a cheery tone.

The red-haired Woman could see the false expression on his face. "Steven is something wrong? Your face is telling me that something's bothering you." Helena said,

Steven blinks before chuckling at Helena figuring out that quickly. "Heh, you can literally read me like a book, Ellie." The Champion said,

The two went to the Living Area where they could talk, Steven told her what recently happened today at Mt. Chimney.

"So you, Flans, and Brendan all Battled Team Magma and Aqua on Mt Chimney?" Helena asked, sitting on the couch with Sylveon sleeping on her lap.

Steven nodded, crossing his leg over his other leg. "Yes, though I have no idea what they were doing, but I have an inkling it's not good." The Hoenn Champion said, sharing what he knows so far.

Helena could see Steven was worried, the way he crossed his Legs the tone of his voice, and the expression on his face. "Steven, what is it?" She asked her Boyfriend, knowing that expression.

"I met him, the Leader of Team Magma." The blonde trainer said, looking at Helena with real concern for her.

The red-haired Woman looks at Steven, "What is he like?" Helena asked, curious about who this Leader might be.

Steven looks up at Helena, almost not telling her about the Leader of Team Magma. However, Helena had the right to know what was going on. "Team Magma's Leader, it's Maxie…"

"Maxie…the Name sounds familiar," Helena said, knowing that Name but couldn't place her finger where she had heard that Name before.

"It should, he's the one at the Masquerade Ball with my Uncle," Steven said, reminding Helena of that Night at his Parents' Masquerade Ball.

Helena ponders for a moment before remembering the red-haired Man in the red coat. "You mean Professor Lund's Friend? He's the Leader of Team Magma?" The red-haired Professor asked her Boyfriend, receiving a nod from him.

"That's right, but he also said something rather strange," Steven said, tapping his chin, trying to unravel what he meant.

Helena continued petting Sylveon while she heard her Pokemon outside playing with the ones in the House. She knew that Team Magma's goal had something to do with her Research, "What did Maxie say to you, Steven?"' She asked, wanting an idea of what Maxie and Team Magma were up to.

Steven nodded, answering his Girlfriend's request. "He said…"

Flashback

"Metagross, Flash Cannon!" Steven held his hand to his Partner, glaring at the Team Magma Grunts.

"Meta!" Metagross's X glowed before releasing a silver beam at the Numel, Mightyena, and Golbats.

The Grunt's Pokemon cried out, being blasted away from the Shiny Pokemon's Attack. There were some former Team Plasma Members who were Battling both Teams' Grunts at the foot of the Mountain.

Brendan held his hand, seeing some Team Aqua Pokemon, consisting of Corphish, Crawdaunt, and Mightyenas heading their way. "Grovyle use Leaf Storm on Team Aqua's Pokemon!" The brown-haired trainer ordered his Partner.

"Grovyle!" The Grass-type Pokemon leaps in the air, spinning around as a bunch of leaves appeared and hurled straight for Team Aqua's Pokemon.

Grovyle landed right in front of Brendan, huffing at the fallen Pokemon. "Great job, Grovyle. But we still have more to go." Brendan said, motivating his Partner to continue Battling.

The Wood Gecko Pokemon nodded, ready to continue Battling. "Grovyle."

"Alright, Mags use Overheat!" Flannery cried out, ordering her Partner to Attack the Opponents' Pokemon.

"Magcargo!" Magcargo's Body began to overheat before her mouth burst into flames. She released a wave of Flames at the Enemies, bursting them away from them.

"Gah! The Flames are too much!" A Team Magma Captain steps away from the Flames produced by the Lava Pokemon. "Retreat, call back your Pokemon! Retreat to the foot of the entrance!" He ordered the Grunts.

"Sir!" The Team Magma Grunts all called back their Pokemon.

The same goes for Team Aqua Grunts, "Tch, retreat! Everyone retreat!" The Team Aqua Leader commanded his Team's Grunts.

"Aye!" The Team Aqua Grunts replied as they and their Pokemon retreated from the Flames.

Flannery held her fist, looking at her Partner before her. "Yeah, we got them running, Mags! Way to go!" She cheered,

Steven looks at his Friend, not liking bursting the bubble. "Sorry to cut your celebration short Flannery but we still need to get to the top of Mt. Chimney to end this truly." The Steel-blue haired Champion said,

"Right, right, sorry Steve," Flannery said, getting back to the task at hand. "Anyway, let's go, Mags!" She called out to her Partner,

"Magcargo," The Lava Pokemon nodded, following her Partner to the path to the top.

The Hoenn Champion turns his head back, checking on Brendan and Grovyle. "Sorry for dragging you into this, Brendan. I know this isn't a typical part of a trainer's Journey," Steven apologizes to the brown-haired Pokemon trainer.

Brendan looks at Steven, shaking his head at what Steven said. "It's fine, Steven. I've dealt with Team Magma before," He said, knowing what these People are capable of. "If they are here on Mt. Chimney then it won't be good. Right Grovyle?"

The Wood Gecko Pokemon nodded, agreeing with his Partner. "Grovyle,"

Steven smiles, appreciating that this young trainer who has no business with Team Magma or Team Aqua is willing to lend a helping hand. "Then put an end to this Brendan." The Hoenn Champion stated,

Brendan could see the Chrisma Steven was emitting when he spoke. "Right," He nodded, following Steven and Metagross up the Volcano.

The three Pokemon trainers ran up Mt. Chimney, knowing the Leaders of both Team Magma and Aqua.

Approaching the top, Steven and the others saw a few People already on top of the Volcano. Standing at the Mountaintop was a Large Man with black hair wearing a red Admin coat similar to the Team Magma Grunts.

Before the Man were two connected purple heads like Pokemon with a large X on the larger one and a circle on the smaller one.

"Don't give in, Weezing! Use Sludge on Walrein!" The Large Man ordered his Partner to Attack the blue Walrus-like Pokemon.

"Heh, don't think you got me, Tabitha!" A tanned-skinned Woman with black hair and a blue streak in her hair laughs. She wore a blue tight diving suit that covered her upper torso and arms to her legs, leaving only her abdomen revealed.

"Walrein Sheer Cold!" The Team Aqua Admin ordered her Partner,

"Walrein!" The Ice Break Pokemon cried out, releasing a blue beam from his mouth.

Both Attacks hurl straight at each other, however, Walrein's Sheer Cold freezes over Weezing's Sludge causing it to fall and shatter on the ground.

Tabitha gritted his teeth and clenched, "Weezing, dodge it before it hits you!" The black-haired Man said, ordering his Partner.

"Weezing," The Poison Gas Pokemon quickly floated to the side as the Sheer Cold went into the Lava within the Volcano.

"Damn you, Shelly. I won't let you disrupt Leader Maxie's Plans!" Tabitha exclaims, pointing at the tanned Woman.

Shelly, Team Aqua's Leader's right-hand Woman smirks at Team Magma's Admin. "Ha, Leader Archie's Plans is the only Plan that will succeed, Tabitha!" The black-haired Woman announced, "Now Walrein finish Weezing with an Ice Shard!" She ordered her Partner.

"Wal….Rein!" The Water/Ice-type Pokemon gathered his Energy, releasing a large shard of Ice at Weezing,

"Weezing, Gyro Ball!" Tabitha reacted, quickly retaliating against the Opponent's Attack.

"Weezing," The Poison-type Pokemon's Body began to glow a metallic aura, spinning around rapidly. He propels himself forward, shattering the Ice Shard into pieces as he rushes towards Walrein.

Shelly smiles, having a counter against the Gyro Ball, "Walrein, use-"

"We need to sneak around them without getting caught," Shelly paused, overhearing voices down the path heading down Mt. Chimney. Her eyes glowed a blueish hue, enhancing her vision, and she saw three uninvited Guests.

"Think you can get past me without me seeing you a few feet away?" The tanned Woman immediately shifts her attention to Steven, Flannery, and Brendan who are trying to sneak past them.

"Walrein, use Body Slam on Weezing and send him flying at those People!" Shelly ordered, holding her hand towards the Champion and the others.

Walrein jumps in the air, slamming the spinning Weezing at the newcomers to the Mountaintop.

Steven and the others saw the incoming Weezing Gyro Ball heading their way, "That Walrein launched that Weezing while doing his Gyro Ball!" Brendan exclaims, not expecting that the Opponent would use their Opponent's Pokemon's Move like that.

"Metagross!" Steven cried out as his Partner went in front of them,

"Meta!" The Iron Leg Pokemon's Body turned to a metallic color, using Iron Defense to rebound Weezing back at Walrein.

"Walrein-WALREIN"' The Ice Break Pokemon was propelled back by the impact of Weezing's Gyro Ball.

Both Pokemon were thrown back against the Volcanic Rock Wall, making them unable to Battle.

"W-Wow, that's a strong Iron Defense," Brendan commented, impressed by how strong Metagross's defense was. "Your Metagross is strong, Steven." He added,

"Grovyle," The Starter Pokemon nodded, adding to the comment.

Flannery chuckles, smirking at the young Challenger she'd faced before. "Those two were together since we were in Trainer School. Naturally, they have a strong Bond." The red-haired Gym Leader said,

Steven smiles at his longest Friend's comment. "Heh, that same should go for you and Mags." The Champion said before getting to their mission at hand.

"Tch, the Champion, and the Lavaridge Town's Gym Leader is here." Shelly clicked her tongue, already called back her Partner, ready to send out her next Pokemon.

"Great, just great. Just when I think I already have my hands full in dealing with Team Aqua's right-hand Woman." Tabitha said, calling back his Pokemon and taking out his next one. "Now we got more nuisance. All Grunts available!"

Shelly turns to the Grunts who were Battling with Team Magma Grunts. "Stop the Gym Leader and the Champion!" Both she and Tabitha commanded the Grunts from both Teams.

The two Admins tossed their next Pokemon, releasing their next Pokemon. Shelly had Cloyster out; as for Tabitha, he sent out a purple sludge-like Pokemon.

"Cloyster, take down those uninvited Guests, for Leader Archie!" The tanned Woman ordered her Pokemon.

The Ice/Water-type grins, obliging her trainer's request. "Cloyster,"

"Grimer, take care of them. Leader Maxie's Plans must not fail!" Tabitha commanded the Poison-type Pokemon before him.

"Grimer!" The Sludge Pokemon cried out, heading towards the three trainers.

Every Grunt ceased their current Battle with one another, turning their attention to Steven and the others.

"O-Oh shit didn't expect that," Flannery gave a nervous chuckle, seeing just how many Opponents they were going to face.

"It doesn't matter, we need to get past them. Metagross, get ready!" Steven looks at his Partner, telling him to be prepared for a nonstop Battle.

Metagross nodded, ready for the onslaught of Team Magma and Aqua Pokemon. "Meta," The Steel/Psychic-type was prepared awaiting orders,

Brendan turns to his Partner, nodding at him. "Ready, Grovyle? This is going to be a tough one." The brown-haired trainer looks at Grovyle, prepping him for the upcoming Battle.

The Grass-type Pokemon nodded, already ready for this. "Grovyle-" He then paused, sensing something from above. "Grovyle!" Grovyle points to the sky, gaining everyone's attention.

"Grovyle? What is it?" Brendan asked his Partner, seeing a purple flame coming crashing down on the Enemys' Pokemon.

Steven and the others covered their faces from the dust created by the sudden Attack. "That was Psycho Cut, who could've-"

"Da-er Mr. Stone!" Steven turns around and sees a young Nineteen-year-Old trainer with white messy hair and blue eyes similar to his step forward. His face looks familiar, almost bearing resemblance to Helena if she was a male and N. He wore a former Team Plasma Uniform (Neo Team Plasma Uniform but it's inverted to White).

The Guardian of the Potter Family looks at Steven, Flannery, and Brendan. "We'll help out here, just go and get Team Magma's Leader!" He shouted as a purple armored Pokemon with flaming blades for hands stood beside him.

The white-haired trainer looks at Ceruledge, helping the Champion and the others. "Ceruledge, use Solar Balde on the Enemies!" He ordered his Partner,

"Cerele!" The Ghost/Fire-type Pokemon rushed forward, his blades blazed up before slashing at the Pokemon.

"T-That's a Ceruledge!" Flannery exclaims, recognizing the Paldean Pokemon. Picking up what the trainer did, she proceeded to add a little more support. "Mags use Lava Pump between the staircase and the Opponents!"

"Magcargo!" The Fire-type Pokemon raises her head, causing the ground to burst, creating magma spewing out as it hurls straight for the group.

The Attack blew a few Pokemon away, creating an opening for a few to get through along with the Lava Pump made a barrier between the path and the Team Magma and Aqua members, ensuring a clear passage. "Edge," The Fire Blades Pokemon landed next to his Partner before heading out once more.

"Go, we've opened a path for you!" The white-haired trainer looks at both Steven and Brendan

"That's right, we got this handled," Flannery said, returning her attention to the Grunts with their new Companion.

Steven nodded, turning to Brendan, Metagross, and Grovyle, "Brendan, ready to go?" The Champion asked the young trainer.

The brown-haired trainer nodded, "I'm ready, Steven." Brendan said, ready to meet and stop whatever they were doing at the peak.

"Meta!" The Iron Legs Pokemon nodded,

"Grovyle," The Grass-type nodded as well, both following their trainers heading up the stairs of the Volcano.

Magcargo and Ceruledge Battled both Team Magma and Aqua's Pokemon as their trainers gave them orders and how to use their Moves.

Flannery smiles before looking at the new guy. "Say, I don't think I've ever seen you before. Are you new to Ellie's and N's Family Guard?" She asked, getting used to the idea that her Friends have some sort of Secret Service protecting them.

The white-haired trainer's blue eyes turn to the side before answering the Lavaridge Town's Gym Leader's question. "Y-Yeah, I just arrived…" He said,

"Got a Name? I prefer to call you by your Name than just calling you all the time." Flannery said, keeping tabs on her Partner.

"Casey...St-Evans." The white-haired trainer informed the red-haired before returning his attention to the Battle. "Anyways, focus on the Battle," He said, continuing to watch his Partner.

Running up the stone stairway, Steven, Brendan, and their Pokemon saw some exchange of Attacks, indicating both Leaders of the Teams were Battling, However, there was one larger Attack that decided the outcome.

"That was a powerful Attack," Brendan commented, still seeing smoke at the peak of the Mountain.

"Come on," Steven said, running up to the final steps of the Volcano having a bad feeling about this.

Up on the Mountain, a muscular tanned Man with a dark beard dressed in a blue Pirate's coat with a blue bandana with an A at the center. Was a golden anchor with a Keystone chained around his neck.

"Sharp…edo…" A navy-blue Shark Head with a white stone inside was a navy-blue and yellow flame connected to a pierced ring on his fin. Sharpedo fell on the rocky ground. A red beam went straight or Sharpedo, returning him to his Pokeball.

After returning his Partner he huffs, glaring at the red-haired Man with a Camel who'd beaten him. "How futile, seems like you haven't learned a thing from the last time, Archie." Maxie, Leader of Team Magma said, staring down at his Rival.

Archie glared at his Rival and gritted his teeth. "Damn you, Archie. You won't get away with this." The Leader of Team Aqua stated.

"Get away with what?" Maxie asked, looking back at his Subordinates, finished with the Analysis of the Meteorites on Mt. Chimney. "We've already got what we came for. Hmm?" The red-haired Man looks at the People making their way to the top of the stairway.

Steven, Brendan, and their Pokemon arrived at the peak of the Volcano. "Ah, now this is expected, but it's a waste of time," Maxie said, placing his hands behind his back.

Archie turns around, hearing footsteps coming up from behind. His eyes widen, realizing who is there. "Ngh! Steven Stone, the Hoenn Champion!" He exclaims, knowing who this Man is. "What is he doing here?" He asked,

"Really, Archibald, it's obvious why the Champion is here," Maxie said, seeing his Partner stepping in front of him.

"Maxie…" Archie growls, glaring at his Rival.

A large orange Camel Pokemon with two small Volcanos as humps. Steps forward, ready to defend his trainer. "Camerupt, stand down. There's no need to be hostile when we've already gotten what we came for," He said, greeting the Champion of Hoenn and the young trainer he'd met in Slateport City.

"I must say, it's impressive you all made it past all of my Subordinates and Archibald's Men with ease," Maxie spoke, greeting the Champion and trainer. "You must have an equal amount of People holding both my Subordinates and Team Aqua back to meet us."

"We're here to stop you, Maxie from trying to wake Groudon!" Brendan exclaims, stepping forward, announcing their purpose here.

Maxie raises his brow, curious how they know what their motives are. "Tell me, how did you figure out our Plan? I'm sure everyone in my Organization won't any information leak out to the Public." The red-haired Leader said,

Steven looks at Brenden, shaking his head at him indicating not to answer any question he might ask. "Brenden, no," He said, wanting to prevent Helena's Name from being mentioned.

Maxie took a moment to observe the Champion and the trainer causing much trouble for his Organization. Taking into account how close Steven was to the Person he was interested in, it only took him a few seconds to understand. "I see, even now, you're still protecting your Significant Other, Mr. Stone. Professor Helena Liliana Stone…was it?"

"I have to admit, she's an interesting Person…"

"Don't speak her Name lightly, Maxie. You don't have the right to say it after you attempted to kidnap her." Steven stated, defending his Girlfriend from the red-haired Man.

"Why? I'm merely saying that she's an interesting Person…" Maxie stated before continuing, "Even if she has no prior background about her Past…"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Steven asked, demanding to know what the red-haired meant by what he said.

Maxie smiles, closing his eyes as he continues to question the Woman who captured Steven's Heart. "Simple, I have my People investigate Professor Potter before we make our move. When they returned with the results, they didn't have anything on her." The Leader of Team Magma said,

"That's because Helena came from a-"

"Remote area of Hoenn? Yes, I've investigated the many known places where Pokemon are scarce." Maxie said, looking at the Steel-blue haired Champion. "And yet, none of the locals have information about a Girl leaving their Towns, let alone met one of us till that moment."

Maxie looks at Steven, asking him some questions. "Mr. Stone, tell me, has Professor Potter revealed her Past to you? About her Parents, her old Home, or-"

"Shut up!" Steven shouted, not wanting to hear anything from Maxie about Helena.

"Meta!" Metagross supported his Partner, also not liking how he was speaking about Helena like a stranger.

Brenden and Grovyle agreed with the Champion, not seeing the black-haired Professor as someone with hidden secrets. Sure there are People with things they want to keep a secret, but he didn't think Helena would have a huge secret.

Suddenly the young trainer and Grovyle heard some propellers slicing through the air. Looking up, they saw a red Helicopter hovering just above them with a large M on the side. "Steven, look! He's trying to escape!"

Steven quickly acted, holding his hand out. "Metagross, use Flash Cannon-"

"Camerupt. Bulldoze." Maxie ordered his Partner, preventing Steven nor Brenden from interrupting his escape.

Camerupt roared, raising his front legs before slamming them onto the ground. The ground shook, causing everyone to be off-balanced, falling to the ground.

Steven fell to the ground, not before looking at Metagross. "Metagross, now!" He ordered his Partner, not wanting them to escape.

The Shiny Metagross nodded, floating up so he wouldn't be effective by the Bulldoze. "Meta!" Metagross's X began to glow brightly, ready to release his powerful Attack.

"Flamethrower!" Flames came hurling from the Helicopter, causing Metagross to evade them. This also causes his Flash Cannon to miss his target.

"Leader Maxie!" Maxie looks up, seeing his Grunts standing near the side of the Helicopter, returning their Pokemon to their Pokeball. "Hurry!"

Maxie nodded, calling back his Partner not before looking at the Champion. "Before I leave, Mr. Stone. With the lack of background information on Professor Potter, I find it best for you to find out more about your Partner and who she really is." The red-haired Man said, leaving parting words for the Champion.

"As for you, Mr. Smith, if you're so determined to stop us. Try and stop us," Maxie said, boarding the Helicopter and making his escape.

Once the tremors ceased, Steven got up from the ground recovering from the Bulldoze. "Steven, are you okay?" Brendan came up to the Champion after he and Grovyle recovered from the tremors.

Steven turns around, seeing that the Grunts from both Team Magma and Aqua already started to retreat. "I take it Archie escaped as well?" He asked,

Brendan nodded, seeing no signs of the tanned Man. "Yeah, he's gone once Team Magma's Helicopter came." The brown-haired trainer said,

"Grovyle," Grovyle nodded, supporting his trainer's statement.

"Meta," The Steel/Psychic-type Pokemon nodded, looking around and using his Psychic abilities to sense if there were any more stragglers.

Brendan looks around, seeing they've failed to stop Team Magma. "We better head back Flannery and tell her the news." He looks at the Steel-blue haired Man, seemingly he has something in his mind. "Steven?"

Steven snapped out of his mind, looking at Brendan. "Y-Yes, let's do that." He said, receiving a nod from the young trainer,

They proceeded to head down the peak of Mt. Chimney to meet with the others. While walking, Steven couldn't stop thinking what Maxie said about Helena, 'Ellie…'

End of Flashback

Helena looks down at Sylveon, petting her after hearing Steven's experience on Mt. Chimney. "I...see…what happened when you got down from the top of Mt. Chimney?" She asked, getting a bit anxious, awaiting for the question Steven was going to ask.

Steven looks at Helena, "We've met up with Flannery, though that guy who helped disappeared." He continued explaining receiving a nod from his Girlfriend.

The Hoenn Champion couldn't help but think back on what Maxie said. Even though it was a ridiculous notion, he couldn't help but be curious. "Helena…are you keeping something from me?" He asked, wanting to know what Maxie dug up on her.

The Ability User looks at Steven, opening her mouth. "I…"
