Danny and Palutena walked down the street, both of them not believing what just happened. All Palutena was trying to do was cheer her champion up, and the school thought she was breaking the rules! Danny could hardly believe the school thought he was just like Jazz. They thought he was as smart as her because they were siblings. But when they saw that he wasn't like her, they treated him like he never existed. It made him so mad. Palutena turned to him before placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry for what happened, Mr. Fenton." She said, hearing him sigh.

"I can't believe the school would treat me like this. I can't believe they thought I would be like Jazz." Danny said, feeling more and more hurt.

"What am I going to tell my parents?" He added.

Palutena frowns. She knew that Danny had the right to be upset. She could hardly believe it herself. She just started working there, hoping to ease his life just a little but it seemed that the school had really let their greed get to them. It pains her to see some of the humans she watched over fall from her light over the centuries. She wanted to help them and they all seemed to no longer believe in her. She then pulled Danny into a hug, surprising him.

"I understand your hurt. But I want you to know I'm here if you want to talk." She said, surprising him.

"Thanks, Miss. Skyworld." Danny said, hugging her back.

"I told you to call me Palutena." She reminds him, smiling.

"Right, Palutena." Danny nodded as they broke the hug.

They kept walking down the street, a few people noticed them. Palutena could hear a few people comment on how nice they looked together and how they looked like a family. Of course, some people thought she was too old for him and could get herself in trouble. She ignored that. This town was already messed up as it is and that is without Hades messing with the humans.

'My champion has a greater life than this. It shouldn't matter if he's as smart as his sister. He deserves better.' Palutena thought.

Meanwhile, at Casper High,

Jazz could hardly believe what the school just did to her brother. Not only did they act like he never existed, they thought he was just her! Yes, she was smart. Yes, she had good grades, but she had to study to get there! What in the world made them think that Danny was like her?! And they expelled her brother because the new teacher kissed his forehead?!

"What is with this school?" Jazz asked out loud.

"I was wondering the same thing."

Jazz blinked before seeing a woman dressed in a purple sweatshirt with blue jeans and brown boots that reached her knees. She had black hair and light blue eyes. She even wore a necklace around her neck.

"Can I help you?" Jazz asked.

"Forgive me, I notice you standing here by yourself. I'm Messlia Underworld." She said, confusing Jazz.

"Jasmine Fenton. Though, everyone calls me Jazz." Jazz said, holding out her hand to shake hers.

"Jasmine, A lovely name," Messila said, shaking it.

"So what brings you here?" Jazz asked her.

"Oh, I work for a university that is looking for excellent students. A few schools mentioned you and I came to see for myself. I wasn't expecting an angry mob though." Messlia said.

"One of our new teachers exposed Casper High for their favoritism. All because she was trying to help my brother feel better." Jazz said, shaking her head.

Messlia nods before placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry for what happened to your brother. I wish I could have met him." She said, making Jazz sigh again.

"So, what university do you go to?" She asked.

"It's a new one. It isn't well known just yet. But I was hoping to see some students joining us. Oddly enough, it was named after me." Messlia said.

"After you?" Jazz asked.

"The Underworld University," Messlia said, confusing Jazz.

"I thought the same thing." She said, shrugging.

"Well, I'm going to have to turn it down. With how this school was acting and my brother's hurt, I don't have time to accept any offers to enter any universities," Jazz told her.

"That's fine. I understand." Messlia said before pulling out a necklace.

"For you. When you decide that you're ready to join." She said, giving it to Jazz.

"Mom always told me not to accept gifts from strangers." Jazz said, taking the necklace anyway.

"But, you don't seem like a bad person. Thanks." She added.

"Glad to help, Miss. Fenton." Messlia said, shaking her hand again.

With that, she left, hiding an evil smirk from everyone.

'With that, I have my champion. Poor Palutena. You should have protected them both!' Medusa thought.

Back with Danny and Palutena,

Danny sighed as walked with his now-former teacher. He hasn't told anyone, but he did find her to be very pretty. He sneek a few peeks at her but would remind himself that he was no creep. Palutena did notice his peeks and understood he was trying not to come off as some weirdo. She was well familiar with many humans falling for her looks, some even thought about asking her to marry them.

Palutena didn't want to marry unless she truly loved the person who loved her. She also knew that Danny was only 14, and not even Zeus would allow that to happen. However, she did want to help his life be much better than what he has now. And that means keeping his grades up even after being kicked out of school.

"Mr. Fenton..." She started.

"Danny." He said, surprising her.

"Danny, I know I quit and you were expelled, but I can still be your teacher if you wish." She said, surprising him.

"Huh?" He asked, confused.

"I understand your grades are important. And I wish to help you keep them up. What your school did was wrong." She said.

Danny blinks before thinking about it. He knew she was right. He just started his high school years and keeping his grades up for his dream was needed.

"Okay. I wouldn't mind getting my schoolwork done with you." He said, smiling.

Palutena smiles, knowing this is only the start of making his life better.

"Then, let us find your family and explain what we decide to do." She said, seeing him nod.

They didn't know that two beings were watching from the clouds, spying on them.

"That poor boy." The Female said, shaking her head.

"At least the goddess of light is helping him overcome his darkness." The Male said, sighing.

"She is one of the Gods we still haven't gotten for our master." The Female told him.

"Palutena is not like the other gods. Hades and Medusa were easy to grab because they didn't fully reform at the time." The Male said.

"What should we do to get hers?" The Female asked.

The male started to think. Getting the Goddess of Light power won't be easy. However, he did know that she wouldn't sit behind the sidelines if her champion or the humans she was fond of were in danger.

"Looks like we need to pay a visit to the Underworld." He said, smirking.

"Oh? Who are we releasing?" The Female asked.

"Someone, that could love to crush the gods." The Male said before they both flew away.

And here's a chapter for Champions of the Gods. So, as you see, Danny is still recovering from what his school did, and Palutena is doing what she can to help him. Jazz and Medusa had finally met, but Jazz had no idea she become Medusa's Champion. And I did decide to play a bit off that Danny was a little amazed at Palutena's beauty, but as I said, this is more like a mother-son pairing than a love pairing.

And remember, Danny and Jazz are not the only champions to be picked. Remember, Viridi is supposed to pick Sam as her champion. And the three main gods are going to pick their champions as well. They're all OCs by the way. And, yes, you can send me your ideas on who the champions of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon are.
