STORY START
"BREAKING NEWS, An Ilegal street racing has appeard in Zootopia tonight, causing destruction on several public facilities." Said Fabienne Growley, the News Anchor for ZNN on the news. " One the ZPD Officer, Judy Hoops, was involved in brutal high speed chase to apprehended the suspects, the first suspect was a male tiger driving a red Furarri 360 and the other one was a male polar bear driving a white Bosche Coupe 911. For now, the identity of the suspects is stil unkown, but they are managed to be stop." The news showed the picture of red Furarri that already damaged after crashing a vehicle and white Bosche that got into the groceries store with heavy damage on both the vehicle and store.
"One of the suscpect is having serious injury and now on the way to the hospital for medical attention while the other one is immidietly apprehended for further investigation." Continued Peter Moosebridge, Fabienne's news colleague. " ZPD asking the citizen to remain careful on the street and immidietly report if they saw or have any information about another street racing around their neighborhood."
" We're in ZPD are doing our best to investigate this brutal street racing and gonna make sure the citizen safety is our main priority and we will bring whoever behind this to justice." Said Chief Bogo while being interviewed by repoter at the crime scene with many paparazzi taking his picture.
After managed to stop the racers and helping Nick at the crime scene, Judy decided to go home to her apartement at Grand Pangolin Arms to get some rest for tomorrow's briefing in the ZPD. It was a very long and exhausting day for the bunny, she never thought this day will happen. She may already risking her life when she trying to uncover former Mayor Bellwether crime against this city, but this is totally different. She almost lost her life because of some irresponsible street racer that can cause destruction into city. After change her uniform to her pijamas and brush her teeth, she immidietly go the her bed and get some sleep when suddenly…….
"Arghhhh!! What now?!" Judy was pissed when her phone suddenly rang when she was about to go sleep. It was her parents. Judy knew if she didn't ansewer this phone, her parents will be worried about her. So she immidietly pick up her phone.
"Judy?! Honey are you okay?! Are you hurt?!" It was her mother, Bonnie Hopps calling her via video call.
"I'm okay mom, i'm not hurt, see?" Judy replied by showing to her mom there's no scars or injury on her body.
"Judy, We just saw the news, you're chasing the bad guys!! Did they hurt you?!" Bonnie is getting more concern about her daughter.
"No mom, it just….." Judy not sure how to say this to her parents.
"It just what honey?" Bonnie ask her daughter.
"It just……." Judy with one little deep breath. "They broke my wind shield with a hot dog stand while i was chasing them."
"WHAAAAAAAAAAATTT?!!" Bonnie scream at top her lung along with a male voice behind her.
"HONEY ARE YOU OKAY?!" It was her father this time, Stu Hopps who suddenly appeard on the screen from behind, this makes Judy little bit stunted.
"Woahhh woah woah dad, I'M FINE I'M FINE!!" Judy try calm down her father who's really worrying and anxious about her. "Thank god it hit the right side of my cruiser, not the driver seat.
"Phewww, thank goodness our daughter is safe." Stu said while embrace his wife with love knowing that their daughter is okay. Then he continued "Judy tell me, what happened out there? Why suddenly there's someone who drive recklessly that can cause someone get injured or hurt? It's been week this city free from the Night Howler terror and now we have this?!" Stu said with curious and high tone.
"I don't know dad, but I think, this is more than just a street racing." Judy said.
"What do you mean honey?" Bonnie ask judy along with Stu who give a curious look from their phone.
"I managed to get information from one of the suspect before he unconscious, the one who drive the red Furarri. He said that he do this because someone is promising him a job at ZWC by winning the race."
"Whaaaatt?" They both shocked at the same time.
"ZWC the big four firm?" Stu wondered. "Why someone risking his life by doing a reckless street racing, just to get a dream job at one of finest firm and company in Zootopia? I thought this was a place where anyone could be anything."
"That's what I'm thingking of dad." Judy replied. "And this job was promised by a guy or someone called Malin, according from what he said."
"Malin? That name is kinda odd." Bonnie added. "I think that's an alias, not a real name."
"So you don't know this Malin was guy or girl, how do you gonna find this person?" Stu thingking the same way.
"Tomorrow we have briefing on ZPD, I hope Chief Bogo already got a lead from this case, also I'm gonna tell him what I found from that Furarri driver. Hopefully this will be our clue to find out what's going on and find Malin." Judy said.
"We're counting on you Judy, this city is counting on you and ZPD once again. You save Zootopia once, I knew you can do it again honey." Bonnie giving her daughter motivation.
"Yeah Judy we're all counting on you!! Teach that Malin guy for do not mess Hopps fam….WHOAAAHHH!!!"Stu was giving his daughter a pep talk when suddenly all of Judy's little brother and sisters run towards Stu who's holding the phone to cheer their big sisters, this makes Stu lost his balance then fall to the floor.
"You can do it JUDY!!" Said Cotton after grabing the phone from Stu's paw with joyed face
"Hey hey my turn!! My Turn!!" This time it was Timmy Hopps who managed to still the phone from Cotton's paw. "Hey Judy, go kick some butt for them!!"
"Hey I was first!!" Cotton said with angry face to Timmy.
Then all of sudden, Timmy bite Cotton's arm, this makes Cotton run away while crying then timmy chase her with joyed face then dropped the phone.
"Yeah Judy!! Go big sister!!! Show them what you have!!" Said the rest of her 275 little brother and sisters from the phone screen.
This makes Judy's heart very touched, knewing her whole family are cheering her up for solving the case and save Zootopia once again. Her eyes start to dripping tears of joy seeing their little brother and sisters from the phone with their cute faces, the she wipped her tears from her eyes.
"Okay okay!! Play time it's over!! Now go to sleep or no breakfast in the morning!!" Said Stu to the kids after get up from the floor.
"AWWW DAD!!" The kids said simultaneously then dropped the phone and they all go their rooms with disappointed face. After that, Stu picking the phone from the floor, fortunately the phone is not broke any at all after got crowded by many bunnies.
"Okay sweetheart, you got a big job tomorrow, sleep well." Said Stu.
"We love you honey, take care of yourself, goodbye." Said Bonnie with a kiss bye to her daughter.
"I love guys so much, bye bye." Judy said then kissed her phone screen for her parents, then the video call ended.
Judy wasn't expecting this, one of the worst day become one her best day in her life. When she was handling the Night Howler case, she never got a support from her family like this, she almost give up from solving the case and her parents said that everyone is making a mistake at the first time they tried and it's okay to quit, in fact they support her to become a meter maid which is the safest job in the ZPD in the first day of her cop career. But now things has change, the city is need help from her, Nick, and ZPD to bust the racers and Malin once and for all. Not for long, she fall to her sleep.
The next day, Judy are on her way to ZPD HQ for briefing from Chief Bogo and other officers. She accompanied with her partner Nick, after they arrive at the HQ, they can see there already many reporter, journalist and Paparazi in the front of the HQ. Judy never thought that this case is same as the Night Howler incident, everyone wantsa know what is really going on.
"Whoaahh, we're getting more famous Carrots." Said Nick with a grin on his face.
"Shut up Nick!!" Judy said also with grin on her face while jab Nick's hipps.
"Ouchh!! Hey relax Carrots, today we're gonna solve the case together again just like we did on Night Howler case. We're both make a great partner."
"Oh for your information, we're not officially partner back then, you're just a Pawpsicles hustler that not paying his tax for years and I give you a second chance to become a better person, if not because of me, you already sentence for five years in jail. We become partners for the first time when busting out flash." Judy reprimand him.
"Tchhh, also if not because of me, you don't know exactly where Emmit Otterton go which lead us to Mr. Big, then find out that predators is going savage and what Night Howler was, then find out he was being captive on Cliffside Asylum by our Mayor Lionheart, then finally find out Bellwether was involved too and I'm must pretended I've become savage to make her confess about her crime. So yeah, we were partners from the start………Carrots."
Judy was tired for hearing his big mouth lecturing her. So she immdietly stomp Nick's right feet so hard then leaving him behind.
"OUUUCHHH!!! CARROTS?!" Nick said while still in pain with his feet then try to catch Judy from behind.
After they reach the front door of the HQ, there already dozens of reporter asking them about the case.
"Officer Hopps! Do you think the city was in danger again because of this racers?" Said the beaver reporter.
"Is there gonna another race on this city? Do you think we should blockade whole Zootopia?" Said the female deer reporter.
"Do you know why the suspects risking their life for doing this brutal street racing?" Said another reporter.
The question is keep coming and coming like flood to her head, this makes Judy start to get stress for dealing with this case even is not started yet. That's when the rest of ZPD officers try blockade all of the reporter and journalist that keep asking Judy for ansewer. After they got inside the HQ, they were relieved, especially Judy. Then they saw someone in the desk looking anxious.
"Clawhauser?" Judy looked at the cheetah with a curious and worried face.
"Oh Thank god Hopps you were here!! Those reporter is keep trying to get in here, asking about a race that cause city into panicked. It's giving my vibe of Night Howler incident again." Clawhauser said with a sad face, remembering those days that he forcefully to work in the archive instead of radio dispatcher because he was a preadator who could be savage at any time.
"Don't worry Clawhauser, we will solve this case soon, and we're gonna find out who's in charge in for this race." Judy said while grabbing his paws and rubbed them for comforting him.
"Thank you Hopps, Wilde. The Chief are on his way to the briefing room, good luck you guys." Said Clawhauser with smile.
Then they both entered the briefing room, they can see that all of ZPD Officers already standby for briefing from the chief, Judy and Nick are sitting next to each other at the front line.
"TEN-HUT!!" Said one of the ZPD Officers.
The briefing room start to get noisy from the ZPD officers who welcoming their chief into the room.
"Alright QUITE NOW!!" Said Chief Bogo when already entered the room and stand on the podium. After the room already silent, he continued. "As you know, last night, our city was shocked by a mysterious illegal and brutal street racing that cause damage on several public facilities, if we don't stop this racers, there will be a casualties and victim from this reckless racers. Thanks to info I got from Officer Fangmyer and Wolford, we knew that one of the racer who drive the White Bosche 911 Coupe was a Polar Bear Name Gonzalez, they both managed to received vital information from after we apprehended him last night and interrogate him immidietly. Apperantley he was competing in some kind of race competition and the winner will promised get their dream job instantly by someone called Malin. In this case, Gonzales was promised a job at Skodden, one of the precious Law Firm in Zootopia. This race was to prove who's the last man standing by crashing and bumping on each other by any mean and don't care what happen to the other racer until they can only be one winner."
The ZPD Officer was listening of what their Chief saying and began to understand about this case. Then the chief continue.
"Gonzalez said that there are racers and some of Zootopia citizen who interest for joining this competition for getting their dream job. This race consist of four stage: The Downtown, Tundratown, Rainforest District, and finally the Sahara Square. Because there is no winner in Downtown last night, they will held the race in there again soon, but this time with more contestant. Our job is find out who is this Malin guy and why he held this dangerous race just to make someone to get their dream job. Any question?" Chief Bogo asked the officer after briefing the case.
"Chief?" It was Judy who raise her hand.
"Go on Hopps." Bogo replied.
"I also got information from the red Furarri driver before he passed out, he also promised by Malin a job at ZWC." Judy explained
This makes the whole room gasp and confused, knowing how hard it was to get a position in ZWC without an excellent track record and not to mention where he/she take the Bachelor degree and somehow this Malin could place anyone he want at the precious company by winning an illegal street racing.
"And also, I think Malin is not his/her real name, maybe it was an alias. So we don't know who's this person was." Continued Judy.
"Hmm, this is getting more interesting." Bogo was also shocked yet curious about Malin, how he/she have such a powerful authority and connection to place random people in special place. Then he continued. "So in order to expose Malin, we need someone to do undercover job by competing on the race, winning all the four event, and that may take us to Malin, find out why he/she did this. I knew this job was too risky for all you and you may not survive from this brutal racers, but this is the only way to bust out Malin and stop this street race once and for all. So anyone volunteer for this mission.?"
After Bogo asking the officers, it seems no one brave enough for assign this mission, they knew if they competing on the race, their life was in danger and may not survive the first event, not to mention their driving skills are nothing compared by the racers. Even they survive, they may cause another destruction into city not mention casualties from their reckeless driving, something they will never forgive in their life. Bogo seems to have lost hope on his crew, but suddenly…..
"I'm in." Said someone who raise her hand then standing up, it was Judy.
Everyone in the room was shocked once again.
"Carrots?! What are you thingking?" Nick said with a low tone and shocked.
"Chief, it is my job as ZPD to serve and protect this city, this is my dream job since I was just a little bunny. My family is supporting me for solving this case, so I'm volunteer for this undercover mission to expose Malin, busted all of the racers, and make Zootopia a better place." Judy said with confident on her face.
The whole room was silent for while, but then Officer Wolford giving her applause, then continued by Officer Fangmyer, Delgato, then the whole room give her applause for her courage and brave.
"Wow, you supprised me once again Carrots." Nick said while giving her applause next to her. Judy response by jabbing his shoulder.
"Ouch!! Stop that."
"Okay Quite now!" Chief Bogo said after the whole room applausing her. "Since officer Hopps is volunteer to assign this undercover mission, the rest of you may dismissed."
After that, all of the ZPD officers leaving the room.
"Goodluck Carrots." Said Nick while winking at her then leave the room.
"Okay Hopps, you may now proceed to the basement level, where you get all the tools for this mission. After that, meet me at my office for another briefing."
"Yess sir!!" Judy salute her Chief.
After Chief Bogo leave the briefing room, Judy immidietly headed towards basement level of ZPD HQ, she never been to this part of the HQ so this makes her getting exicited. After the elevator reached the basement level, she can saw there was someone who's waiting for her.
"Officer Hopps right?" It was a badger in lab coat who greeting her.
"Who are you?" Judy asked.
"I'm Ken, gadget specialist for ZPD." Ken said while try to shake hands with Judy
"Oh okay." Judy said while shaking his hand.
"I see you already sign for this task from Chief Bogo right?" Ken said while taking her a walk at the basement.
"Yeah?"
"Because of that you need a special vehicle for this job, a ZPD cruiser will not stand a chance for dealing with this brutal racers, you need a vehicle that strong enough for pummel other racers without taking serious damage for your vehicle but also fast enough to get you in the first place place and win the race."
"What kind of vehicle should I drive?" Judy wondered.
"Thanks to my geniuses and for not sleeping until morning, I managed to make you a vehicle that may help you for this job. Here." They both stop at one parked vehicle that still in cover, from the looks of it just look like an ordinary sedan.
"You giving me that ride?" Judy was unsure about this vehicle. "Show me."
"As you wish." With that, Ken immidietly open the covers, and revealed what vehicle is that.
"No……..way." Judy dropped her jaw with expressionless face.

"I present to you, Catson GT Nighawk!" Ken showed his masterpiece work to Judy with a proud face. The vehicle was a black sedan with very muscular look. ( Just read about Carson GT Nighthawk at Burnout fandom for futher information about the vehicle, lol.)
"Wow this is very cool." Judy was still amazed about the car while circling the car full of supprised.
"Yup, it is six gear speed, fast enough to catch other racers and also equip with reinforced bumper, doors, and wind shield. So you can smash and destroyed other racers in instant without worrying the damage for your vehicle." Ken said "After you finished one event, just bring me the car to me, and I will fix it for you, and maybe put some another suprises for your car."
"Ken, I don't know what to say, thank you for helping me."
"Ah it's nothing, it was Chief Bogo who giving this idea to me, I have an old muscle vehicle in home that nobody wants to use it again, so I decided to modified this vehicle just for you."
With this, I could easily beat all the four event and busting all the racers!! And Malin……I'm coming for you! Thought Judy with a grin on her face.
