Double Repost Today : Although I split the chapter up, to make the story flow better.

Episode 2 : Wondercolts Forever . Part 2 : Sunset .

CHAPTER .

"An Intruder?" A... yellow girl raised an eyebrow, staring at Rose. Not the first humanoid Rose met, with a primary color as their skin pigment... though the bacon coloured hair was odder then most hair styles.

"I thought everyone who came here, got turned into a teenager. Got to say, I feel cheated." informed the teenage girl. She only appeared 16... yet her eyes spoke of centuries.

"Don't worry my faithful student," Celestia smiled. "I have not, nor will I ever, lie to you. Rose Tyler here, merely used an unknown mechanism, to force herself into my realm. It allowed her to sync herself to my universe's laws, without being altered by them.

"Unfortunately, the strain of this, damaged the device. I would like you, and the rest of the technomancer club, to study the device, and try to repair it. I, and some of my servants, will aid you where we can."

The bacon haired girl smiled. "A personal project with our beloved Eldredge Abomination? Sounds fun. Been a while since you had me reverse engineer something. I'm sure Twilight would love to help."

The bacon haired girl stepped up to Rose, "Sunset Shimmer, that's me." Weird name. "And I got to say. Excellent work on bribing your way in here. Last intruder to try this, just got dumped on a desert island, to starve to death. Flank Face really refused to take 'no' for an answer."

Rose hesitantly shook the teenager's hand. "My only bribe, was to fix it and let me leave."

"Really?" Sunset blinked.

Celestia expressed, "Like the last intruder, Rose Tyler has already met her potential. Though I am eager for her to meet my sister. She smells of quite the ferocious warrior."

Sunset looked Rose up and down, clearly not seeing it. "No kidding? While come on, mighty warrior, let's see the gizmo you broke."

Rose hesitantly handed over the Dimension Canon.

Sunset frowned, opening it up and laying it on a nearby desk. "This thing doesn't have an ounce of magic in it. No wonder it fried itself. It's only working with half the laws of interdimensional physics... pretty ingenious design for what it is... so Great Warrior, you got a brain in your head? Can you actually tell me anything about this device, or do you just use it?"

Rose glared, "I know how it works just fine."

"Then what you waiting for? A starter pistol?" the teenager rolled her eyes, then locked them on the full grown woman. "Tell me what you know, it shouldn't take long."

Rose wanted to growl at the girl... until the actual explaining started, and Sunset asked questions only a proper genius could think up... questions Rose didn't always have answers for...

Sunset made Rose feel very, very... stupid. It was like sitting through one of the Doctor's rants. Rose only understood about a quarter of the things to come out the girl's mouth.

"Don't feel bad," Sunset smiled boastfully. As the two finally left the lab, and Celestia's side, to take a break for lunch.

"Celestia only accepts the best and brightest." Sunset's smile was so cocky... and after spending hours with the girl, it was obvious that had been earned.

"You managed too keep up better then I thought you would. Not often warriors know the technical side to their gear. Their usually more Smashy smashy, then deep thinkers. Though I suppose, if Celestia thinks Luna would want you, you would have to be both. I've only met Celestia's sister a few times, and she is very picky about the ponies she accepts."

Sunset suddenly smiled wider, putting her arms behind her head, as they continued their walk to the cafeteria. "I'm not even the smartest pony here! If you can believe that." Something she would have had trouble admitting, during her first few decades in this realm.

"Pony?" Rose blinked. Not missing anything. The Doctor taught her how to observe little details like that.

Sunset shrugged, arms still behind her head, and cocky smile firmly on her face. "I'm from a dimension of unicorns. Sure, the place was hell for me, but i like remembering it... I used to let Celestia 'cloud' my memories...

"Like how most of us are geniuses. We also tend to have horrific and brutal past. To the point it's taboo to ask someone about their life before this realm.

"I'm more lax about it, as Celestia managed to eat the feelings I had for my most traumatic memories... not everyone is so lucky. As we don't get to her quick enough."

"But you... 'clouded' your memories anyway?" Rose steered back to that.

"Well sure, it was still bloody traumatic to think about, even if the worst of the emotions weren't there... and no... I don't want to talk about it. Just telling you this to give you some friendly advice.

"I was an intruder, at one point, I came here by accident... was resistent to Celestia's kindness. After I accepted her offer, to let her feed on me... I've never felt so carefree and happy. Everything feels new to me, even after 700 years.

"I tried the clouding thing, but found it wasn't for me. The first time Celestia lifted the veil, so I could help explain things to another intruder... i didn't want to go back... it scared me. I hadn't even remembered I used to be a pony. So I decided to suck it up, and live with the memories, to heal naturally... which Celestia allowed...

"What you need to remember, is the people here want to be here. Our lives sucked, often made worse by our genius... with people using us for it... while trying to break our spirits. Celestia loves us, but more along the lines of how a child would love a plushie. We're her treasured collection... objects of sentimental value. and for many of us, that's far better then the lives we came from.

"Celestia saved us from misery, and gave us this golden cage. Any of us could leave, if we wanted, but we don't want to... even if we are objects. The feeling of being loved and valued for the first time... never goes away here. The wonder and joy at the beauty of the universe... never goes away...

"We wouldn't give this life up for anything... and trying to take us from it would be a fate worse then death... just... remember that. And try not to give us too much grief while your here."

Rose was in deep thought. The feelings Sunset described, Rose could understand... because that's how the Doctor said he felt, when he regenerated... and these regressed kids, were kept in a permanent loop of that...

Having seen the Doctor, during his first days of regeneration... it really would be hell to take that away from them.
