"I can't believe it!" This bossy teenage girl. "I want to strangle him so much!" Who unfortunately was his Master. "That idiot compares the HOLY GRAIL WAR to a fucking children's video game." Keep going on and on. "And he dares to insinuate he is better than me, ME!" And on and on since she came back from that boy's house.

Archer sighed to himself. Just his E-rank luck that he was on the receiving end of her venting. Should he just go back and nuke that boy's house? He was going to kill him anyway, and he really didn't deserve to suffer like this. Heh, maybe Saber killing him wouldn't be so bad after all.

"Archer." His Master waved her hand and snapped her finger right in front of his face. "Archer!"

"Yes, Master." Archer replied dejectedly.

"Seriously, that idiot was so insuffer-"

"Stop! Stop! Please, Master, stop." Archer was almost on one knee and begged. "You were ranting for an hour now, please take a break."

"Only one hour?" His Master tilted her head. "I still got more."

"Please, Master, I am begging you." He almost cried. "Why do I have to be stuck here and listen to you ranting about that boy."

"Because you are my Servant?" Her Master said as if it was apparent. "And it's not like I asked you to listen."

Cursed that Command Seals. He had to obediently listen because his Master commanded him not to ignore her.

"Though to be honest. I don't know why." His Master looked at him skeptically. "Just looking at you was enough to make my blood boil."

"Ha Ha Ha." He nervously laughed. He didn't dare to imagine her reaction when she knew about his relation to that boy.

Though thinking back about it, Archer felt something was wrong but he couldn't put a finger on it. Was that boy already like this? At this time? He knew for a fact that that boy was ignorant a kid with a hero complex so big that became suicidal. He didn't remember that boy's relationship with the girl walking beside him at this time, much. Cursed his amnesia. Were they friends before or after she saved him?

Clang

Archer suddenly stopped walking and stepped out of his deep thoughts. He tensed up.

"What is it?" His Master noticed his behavior.

"There seems to be a battle happening nearby." He raised his eyebrow and looked to his right.

"That direction?" His Master asked. "The park?" The only open-field space in that direction. "...Servant?"

"Yes." He confirmed and waited for his Master's decision.

"Can you tell who they are?" His Master asked for more information.

"For that, I need to-" Halfway through the sentence, Archer had a sudden flash of memory. "Saber and Berserker." He said with confidence.

"You can tell-" The realization hit her. "Wait, Saber?" His Master widened her eyes "That idiot!" She instantly grabbed his arm. "Take me there!"

"Master, we don't have to-" He tried to reason with her. He didn't want to drag his Master into danger saving that boy and if that boy died by this the better.

"NOW!"

Archer sighed to himself and obeyed. He would rather not come anywhere near that monster or much less Saber but what could he do. His body already moved obediently when he saw his Master raise her remaining Command Seals threateningly.

When both of them entered the park, they saw the red-haired boy standing in front of the giant unmistakably Berserker with his right hand raised forward.

"I am the bone of my sword."

Archer was still too far from the battle to hear anything from the boy. But the word, the aria, echoed through his bones. Lighting flashed out of the boy's body. In the boy's hand, light shined bright through the park. He knew full well what that boy was doing, what was coming next.

This was wrong. The boy shouldn't know that aria this soon. The boy shouldn't even know what his Magecraft is. The boy shouldn't-.

"BAM!".

Like a baseball, the boy's body rag-dolled through the air from Berserker's too oversized weapon to be called a sword.

"Huh." Archer slipped out loud unintelligently. Well… At least, he could be sure that the boy still has suicidal tendencies.

[Huh...]

Shirou, or what was left of him resting lying in the pool of his own blood. He should be in unimaginable pain right now as almost every bone in his body was broken. Strangely enough, perhaps it was because of adrenaline pumping or it was because his mind was too occupied with something else, he felt no pain.

[This is new.]

Trace on!

Lighting again flashed out of his body, then nothing…

Judging the concept of creation.

Hypothesizing the basic structure.

Duplicating the composition material

Imitating the skill of its making.

Sympathizing with the experience of its growth.

Reproducing the accumulated years.

Excelling every manufacturing process.

Lighting once again flashed, and then there was still nothing…

[This is definitely new.] Of all the lives he had walked, this has never happened to him before. The tracing part wasn't the problem, there was no error or even a hiccup during the process. But when it was the projecting part, the image of the sword in his mind suddenly got chopped up, hazed, and disappeared. It was like the connection was cut off and cost him to project nothing instead.

"That's right. I don't create swords. I create a world that contains infinite swords."

Once upon a time, he said those words while standing against the King of Heroes. Shirou Emiya was only a third-rated Magus, he only possessed one type of Magecraft, the world that embodied his ideal. But the Shirou Emiya now didn't have that ideal anymore, did he? His dream had already passed and what was left now was a broken sword.

[Ahhhh… The pain finally is starting to kick in.] It wasn't the worst pain that he felt. It didn't even make it to the top 10. One time he got the taste of Caster tortured after all. Still, though, Shirou would rather die straight away. Usually, he just projected a sword right through his brain. Added that to 'the thing he can't do anymore.'

"Idiot! Don't you dare die on me."

[Rin?]

Through the blood that covered his eyes, Shirou saw the blurry sight of the black-haired girl panicky covering his wound with her hand. A dim green light glowed out, no doubt that was her healing spell.

[I appreciate it, but you're just making the wound feel itchier.] Shirou Emiya couldn't do itchy. He let out a small whimper. "Sa…be…r"

"What?" The girl was unsure, she knew well that her healing spell would only stop the bleeding, but at least he had a chance to live. But hearing his most likely dying words she couldn't help but follow.

That did it. She made up her mind. Her Master was an idiot. Saber furiously swang her invisible sword. She should have known that no sane person in this world would be convinced that they could fight a Servant. She immediately dodged the blow to her right, the ground beneath shattered. Much less the GIANT right in front of her. Even if it is her, one mistake and she was also a goner.

Saber stomped on the oversize weapon, digging it deeper into the ground. She took her chance while the enemy weapon was disarmed and swung right at the giant's body. To her surprise, the giant simply let go of his weapon and with unimaginable agility dodged her attack and returned in kind to her with a giant fist. To say she was shocked was an understatement, the choreography, and the swift decision-making shouldn't come out from a Berserker Servant. She could tell the Servant right in front of her wasn't just a mere beast, he was a warrior so great that his Mad Enhancement couldn't hide away his talent.

And her FOOLISH Master told her he could take on the Servant himself!? How stupid of her to even believe that nonsense.

Saber wary drew distance from her opponent, she could feel through her connection that her Master condition was critical. But she couldn't simply retreat nor currently, she would have any use to tend to him.

Before she could rush in again, an arrow flew right past her into the Berserker Servant's chest… and it simply bounced off him, not even making a scratch.

"Saber, go to your Master." The Servant in red said dejectedly. "I will hold him off."

Saber raised her eyebrow as if to say she didn't believe him. She knew full well what kind of monster standing in front of her was. And Archer Servant's capability was questionable, to say the least.

As if to answer her, 2 more arrows fired, and… they were bounced off again. Saber was not impressed.

"Look," Archer Servant sighed. "I really don't want to fight that monster alone." He drew another arrow. "But that is not the choice I can make." She could see the red aura coming out of him.

"Command Seals?" She had an inkling feeling.

"My master commands me to help you retreat to your Master." Archer said nothing else and kept firing at his target.

That teenage girl did? Saber was surprised by the gesture. She didn't expect a Master, a potential enemy, to help them to this extent. She gave the fellow Servant a small nod and retreated.

By the time she reached her Master, she saw the dire state of her Master. Although, with the teenage girl's help, his condition was stable so his life wasn't in danger anymore but her Master would have to lie helplessly, paralyzed for the rest of his life.

"What can I do?" They had asked for her presence so she could do something here.

The girl didn't say a word and looked at her Master.

"Hand… mana… heart…" Her Master coughed out those words with blood.

Saber didn't say anything and put her hand on his heart. Strange, she could feel the familiar presence in his body. Golden light shone from his heart and flowed through his body. All his wounds and broken bones were healing at a rapid pace.

"Avalon?" Saber muttered. The girl was also as shocked as her.

It made sense now, why she was summoned by him. Though this wasn't really good news to her, her Master connection to that man became clearer, they are indeed related.

After many minutes had passed by…

As soon as the boy could move again, Saber and Rin Tosaka both shouted angrily. "You're an idiot!"

"Ouch!" Shirou held his head. "Keep it down, my head was cracked. Once is enough for today, don't you think?"

"What were you thinking?" The girl ignored his complaint. "Fighting a Servant, A SERVANT!" The girl hit his head. "Do you have a death wish?"

"Eh, Half and half." He nonchalantly shrugged.

"What does that mean?" The girl grabbed his shirt and yelled in his face. "Don't you know if you die, Sakura-"

"Sakura will be sad, yes." Her Master suddenly grabbed back her arm, hard, almost cushing it. The girl winced in pain. His demeanor and the tone of his voice changed, iced cold. "But do you know?" He looked directly into the girl's eyes. "Right now Sakura is already suffering?" The girl widened her eyes at his words. "That Sakura wished for her sister, her family, more than a random boy being nice to her."

"What…" The girl was stunned by the sudden change. "How do you know that Sakura is my sister?" She muttered while she was in shock.

"Don't force me to become that poor girl's light." The boy almost growled. "Because I can't." They all could feel the helplessness in his voice.

"We can talk about it later." The boy forcefully exhaled, he changed the subject. "Archer won't last long." He sighed while stretching his body. "Luckily for you, Tosaka, your family wasn't the only one is fucked up."

"Master. You just have recovered, you can't fight again." Saber warned.

"Listen to your Servant, Emiya." The girl broke back to reality. "The artifact inside your body may be powerful, but your mana is already low enough."

"Then I will use Od." The boy shrugged. "It's not like I will fight the Servant again."

That earned him the cold gaze of his Servant. "You won't! It was already foolish of me to believe otherwise."

"Yeah, yeah…Ugh!" The boy swallowed at the intense chill his Servant gave out. "Noted."

By the time the party came back, Archer was already covered in wounds. He felt half his knee and exhaled with relief when he saw the Saber Servant reengage and tag him out of the battle.

"Seriously, not even one life?" Emiya mocked her Servant.

Rin raised an eyebrow at the attitude of the boy whose she graciously saved toward her Servant. But she was more curious about the information he said. "Life?"

"Come a lot from the boy who just became a homerun." Archer sarcastically retorted back.

Ok? Why did she feel like her Servant and Emiya were having a beef with each other? Did they know each other? But they were only just met.

"Give me a sword." Emiya asked her Servant.

"Why should I?" Archer retorted. "Make your own."

Ok. They definitely knew each other. "Archer, just give him a damn sword." Rin commanded. "This is a long night already."

"Tch!" A sword flew out of nowhere and almost hit straight on the boy's chest. But Emiya easily caught it and swung it in the air a few times.

"Seriously, this one?" He complained.

Annoyed, Rin hit him in the head. "Beggars can't be choosers." Then she looked at the little girl with long white hair across the field. "And our enemy is getting impatient."

"Archer, you are still supporting Saber. Emiya and I will deal with the Master." She took the group leader role and commanded.

"Yes, Master." Her Servant sighed reluctantly while Emiya just shrugged.

"Onii-chan, you are tougher than I thought." The little girl said.

"Yeah, I get that a lot." Emiya nonchalantly said.

"You are?" Feeling left out, Rin asked the little girl.

"Where are my manners?" The little girl pulled up her dress and greeted. "Nice to meet you, Rin. I am Illya. You should work it out if I make that 'Illyasviel von Einzbern"

"Einzbern…" Rin's body moved slightly as she knew the German Magus family. The white-haired girl smiled happily at her reaction.

"Yeah, my imouto." Emiya added. "Well, technically my onee-chan, but you get the idea."

"Your what?" Rin was stunned at the boy's statement.

"And she wants to kill me." Unhelpfully, Emiya added more. "Told you my family was fucked up too."

She really didn't like the word 'too' added in. Reminded her that the conversation was yet to come about her sister Sakura.

"On the contrary, onii-chan, I want you to become my servant." The little girl said with a cheery voice. "After all, I want my onii-chan to play with me more."

"I have to decline. You know what the Einzbern usually did to their servants." Emiya raised the cheap looking sword. "Here is my counter offer, I'm going to kidnap you from the Einzbern."

"Kidnap?" Rin did a double take. Did she hear what he said right?

"Very well." The little magus summoned multiple bird familiars from her hair. "I want to see you try onii-chan."

Rin cursed as she saw the birds shooted multiple bullets at them, she didn't have any jewel on her right now that could help her defend against them. Suddenly something wrapped around her waist, before she knew it, she was being picked up by Emiya. The boy easily and skillfully danced around the bullets while carrying her. Though she would appreciate it more if she wasn't being carried like a bag.

"What to do… What to do?" Emiya hummed while casually letting some bullet near-missed at her. If she wasn't so scared shitless right now, she would wrestle her way out of this embarrassing position. He then stopped dead in his tracks. "Emiya?"

"Here's our chance!"

"Chance for wha-" Before Rin even got the chance to ask what he meant. Emiya threw… fucking threw her at the enemy. She freezed despairingly as she flew…

Thumb!

She alive? She's alive! She didn't feel any pain on her body and landed on something soft… the white-haired girl lying right under her. Rin panicky jumped back to gain space from her enemy.

"What are you doing?" Emiya's voice appeared right behind her and she felt a pull on her collar, dragged her out the way of a bullet, nearly hit her head. "You had her!"

"I almost died!" Rin yelled back angrily. How dare he use her like a projectile.

"She can't really shoot at herself, can she?" Emiya, annoyed, dragged her to behind a nearby tree.

"Excuse me?" Rin shouted. "She could have some close-range spell on herself."

"If that were true, you would be a deadmeat already."

"That-" Rin was speechless. She couldn't really argue with that logic. But he THREW her like a projectile. "Fuck you!"

"Already did, honey."

"What?"

"What?"

Thankfully, the white-haired girl cut in. "Onii-chan, I must say, you have some interesting strategies." She slowly got the bird circled around the tree. "But this is the end, you're cornered."

Rin couldn't argue with the little girl. She looked at the surrounding bird familiars aiming at them. If she moved out just an inch then her body would be riddled with bullets.

"Got any flash-bang type jewel on you?" Emiya suddenly whispered.

"One." Rin quickly answered back equally quietly, while reaching into her pocket.

"On three, throw it at her." Emiya instructed.

Sorry? What about all the familiars that were aiming at them? But before she could argue about this idiotic plan more. Emiya already jumped to the right and yelled. "Three"

"What?" Rin instinctively followed his command and helplessly stared at the ludicrous amount of bullets coming toward her. In slow-motion, she couldn't believe what she saw. Using the sword in his hand, Emiya swung at the bullets at an insane speed and deflected all of the ones going to hit them. She reacted quickly and threw the jewel.

The blinding light appeared and covered her eye with white. By the time her vision came back, the boy wasn't standing near her anymore. She could see several of those birds lying dead on the ground. And on the enemy's neck was the edge of the cold metal sword.

"How?" The little girl muttered.

Rin asked the same question, how did Emiya move that fast? He was as fast as a Servant could, no maybe he was faster.

"My Reinforcement was a little better than most Magus." The boy shrugged, he then pulled the sword away and lowered his head so his eye was at the same level as the little girl. "And that onii-chan win, no?"

That idiot! He just surrendered his weapon to the enemy. Rin quickly pulled out a jewel. But she didn't react quick enough. One of those birds appeared and aimed at the boy's head.

Emiya didn't even move his body, he held his hand out and flick his finger on the little girl's forehead. "No cheating."

To Rin's surprise, their enemy just angrily pouted and dropped the bird.

"So everything till now was just a game?" Rin couldn't help but shout out loud. By God, she was scared for her life just now.

"Is she dumb, onii-chan?" The little… brat pointed at her.

"Not everyone has a screw loose like we do, Illya." Emiya sighed and patted her head. His comment let the brat pout even more. He then turned and looked deadpan at her. "Rin, did you seriously forget I was almost dying before?"

That honestly slipped from her mind, the image of Emiya now was completely different than minutes ago, lying in a pool of blood.

"You see, Rin, Illya here was the product of being a child properly raised in a Magus family. Don't be surprised if Sakura has some screw loose herself."

"That was the third time you brought up my sister's name, Emiya." Rin coldly stared at him. Now the situation has calmed down. "I need an explanation." She could feel her blood boiling up. If anything happened to her sister. "What's wrong with her?"

"As I said, we will talk about it…" Emiya stopped and pondered a bit. "Bring her to me tomorrow if you can." He then ignored her.

Emiya wrapped his arm around Illya's waist and picked her up in the same position he did to Rin.

"Onii-chan!" The little girl waved her body in rejection. "Treat your sister better."

"I told you I'm kidnapping you, did I?" Emiya smiled in amusement. "And consider this as a punishment for losing."

...

As they walked back to their Servants. Their Servants' battle almost reached the highest point. Saber's armor had many big dents with blood dripping from her arms. Berserker was no better, his body had many cuts and arrows sticking out all over the body. Archer was the same as he wasn't in the battle directly.

"Illya?" Emiya asked his sister.

"Berserker! Fall back." The little girl shouted.

The giant Servant made a big jump backward, the ground below shook as he landed,

"Saber! I got the goods." Emiya shouted while waving his hand too cheerfully. "Let's scram before any cop shows up."

"Cop?" Rin asked. "You're afraid of mere cops?"

"You try to explain why we carry a little girl in the middle of the night then."

"...Good point." Rin tried to counter but words didn't come out, she concurred. "I just hope you said it differently."
