Reigniting the Symbol of Peace's Heart
"(This kid, he's almost like me when I was a boy.)" All Might thought after hearing what the boy has to say and ask the question.
But the moment was ruined when All Might started grunting and groaning in pain because he stop to listen to the boy, then steam starts to come out from his body.
"(Oh no, damn it. Not now, not here!)" All Might thought worried of what the boy is about to see as the hero clutches onto his chest.
"Huh, All Might? Are you okay, you look like you're in pain and is there steam coming out?" Izuku shocked worry.
But his shock became more intense when the steam covered his body for a moment and disappears showing All Might looking very, very different almost like a skeleton man as the boy screams.
(With Kirie)
"WHAAAAT?!" Kirie screamed in shock as she arrived at the police station.
"What do you mean All Might hadn't come here yet?" Kirie asked as the officers told them that All Might didn't come with the captured villain.
"I'm sorry, Miss. But All Might hasn't come here to drop of this sludge villain you mentioned." One officer said.
"Damn it, and I ran all the way here for nothing. He must've drop Izuku off somewhere, guess I'll just go search for him. And I'm going to give him a deal headache when I find him for scaring the Hell out of me like that!" Kirie screamed angry, that also scared some of the officers as she walks away.
"I feel bad for the guy." One officer commented.
(Tatooin Shopping District)
The scene shows of the one bottle containing the sludge villain as he woke up wondering what happened to him until he remembered being taken down by All Might.
"Damn that All Might… If it wasn't for him, I would be out of town by now." The sludge villain complained.
But that's when he saw a spiky ash-blonde kid with a soda can in his hand.
"Damn you, Deku. And damn you too… Hell Tomboy." Katsuki grunted, that nickname is what he would call Kirie since she would act a little more boy and the "Hell" part is her catchphrase whenever she gets angry.
"She still choses to be with that nerd when there's a powerful guy right in front of her, guess she's the kind of idiot to be with another idiot." Katsuki said.
Katsuki could still remember the times when Kirie would always stand up to him to protect Izuku or any other person he picked on, but mostly Izuku and she could be able to come out on top because of her Quirk and the stupid scolding is really getting on his nervous too.
"Go ahead and try getting into UA together…" Katsuki burned the empty soda can with his Quirk.
"I'll just blow you two away and be the very best that none of you can hope to reach me!" Katsuki determined with a fury.
But then the sludge villain made himself known to the kid after breaking out of the soda bottle.
"Perfect. I like a skin suit with some fire." The sludge villain smirked.
Katsuki's eyes widen that a dangerous villain just appeared in front of him.
(With Izuku and All Might)
"What… Who is…? What happened, you deflated!" Izuku gasped trying to process what just happened.
"W-Where did All Might go? You, you're not him! Your fake, an imposter! That has to be it!" Izuku accused.
"I assure you that I am All Mi—" His sentence was cut off due to blood coming out of his mouth.
"Impossible!" Izuku screamed, wondering how this could be.
"You know how guys at the pool are always sucking in and flexing and trying to look buff? I'm like that." All Might explained.
"This can't be real?!" Izuku screamed again.
"No, I'm dreaming… All Might is a giant of a man who saves everyone. He defeats all obstacles and wins the day with a fearless smile." Izuku struggled to take in this reality of All Might.
"There's plenty of fear behind that smile, for years now." All Might sighed as he sat down.
"I'm counting on you to keep your mouth shut. Don't go talking about this online or telling your friends like that girl who was with you." All Might said, confusing Izuku until the man lifted his shirt showing a large and painful-looking scar on his left body.
"Pretty gross, right?" All Might asked as Izuku is a little gross out from the sight.
"I got this in a big fight five years back. My respiratory system was basically destroyed. I lost my whole stomach. All the surgeries have pretty much worn me out and it can't be fix." All Might explained about his scar.
"Right now, I can only do hero work for about three hours a day. Rest of the time, this is what I look like." All Might mentioned.
Izuku couldn't believe the most powerful and heartful hero that he looked up to for so long has this kind of condition for half a decade, the invincible hero that everybody knew and always believe has actually been injured.
"No way… Five years ago? So, does that mean it was the fight with Toxic Chainsaw?" Izuku asked, remember reading on article about that right.
"Wow, you know your stuff. But no, the punk may've landed some hits, but he couldn't bring me down." All Might answered.
"Most of the world has never heard of this fight. I did everything I could to keep it under wraps." All Might said as he looks down at the streets, seeing the people just doing what they do before looking back at the boy.
"I'm supposed to be the guy who's always smiling, right? I'm the Symbol of Peace. People everywhere have to think that I'm never afraid." All Might said and looks at his hand.
"But honestly, I smile to hide the fear inside. It's just a brave face I put on when the pressure is high." All Might revealed surprising Izuku.
"This job isn't easy. Pro heroes are always having to risk their lives." All Might paused for a moment, remembering the words Izuku spoke in truth and strength.
"I would say that some villains can't be beaten down without power, but maybe you could be different." All Might said surprising Izuku.
"From the words you said, from how your friend kept encouraging you and pointed out that action and kindness is what being a hero. It started to make me feel, maybe whole again?" All Might held onto his scar.
"Maybe I've been feeling this fear because of how I almost died from that battle, but now I'm reminded of it's okay to feel fear to help move forward and to be strong for the people you've sworn to protect." All Might said as he stands up.
All Might starts to think back in his younger and a woman standing in front of him, offering a hand that he knew would change his life forever.
"(I wonder, could this kid be…)" All Might thought looked at the boy.
"Kid, what's your name?" All Might asked.
"Oh, huh, I'm Izuku Midoriya. Sir!" Izuku answered, jolted of the hero wanting to know his name.
"Izuku Midoriya, you really got yourself a great friend to help keep your spirits up and one really believes in heroes very much, sounds like she could become a great hero." All Might complimented.
"She and I are aiming for UA to start our path!" Izuku mentioned.
"UA, that's tough school to get in, but I have a feeling you might succeed." All Might said as he walks to the door about to go inside, but stop when he wanted to ask him something.
"Young Midoriya, if you were suddenly given the opportunity to gain a Quirk, would you take it even though your friend wanted to help you become a Quirkless hero?" All Might asked, something he wanted to hear for himself.
Izuku thought about this for a moment and remember what Kirie said to him whether or not he would suddenly gain a power of his own.
"I don't think it would change anything, I still want to become the hero who smiles for everyone when saving the day and helping them in any need whether it's fighting villains or helping an old lady cross the street. And the smile would be to help people feel hope like you do." Izuku smiled proudly.
"Very good answer, I think you just helped me in a way." All Might smiled before leaving the rooftop.
"(Oh my super crap! All Might actually believes I can become a hero, a Quirkless boy!)" Izuku thought squealed as he throws a fist in the air.
All Might walk down the stairs thinking back on the boy with those strong words and how the ideal of heroes in his mind, something he almost forgotten until now.
"I'm starting to feel like we were fated to meet each other, Young Midoriya." All Might chuckled.
"All right, now to get you to the police" All Might looked down at the trapped villain only to discover his pocket is empty.
All Might gasp that the villain is suddenly gone and panics hoping he's still in the building and somehow roll himself out of the pants, but then he heard an explosion coming from outside and saw a big puff of dark clouds raising from behind some buildings.
"Not good…" All Might feared this is worse.
(With Kirie)
"Damn it, why isn't he picking up my calls?" Kirie wondered as she tries to call Izuku a few times, but he doesn't answer.
"Don't tell me he forget to turn off the silence on his phone after we left school." Kirie exclaimed.
"Well, I hope he'll get my text. I swear, that guy can be too riskless for his own good." Kirie stated, but then she heard some explosions and people are running to see what's going on.
Kirie decided to go see this as well, seeing a lot of people gather together though she manages to squeeze her way to see there is a villain fight going on, but her eyes widen in shock of seeing a very familiar villain.
"(Hold on, isn't that the sludge villain from before?)" Kirie thought shocked seeing those eyes.
"(But how did he escape from All Might?)" Kirie thought feared that something happened.
"This is bad, that kid is in the clutches of that villain." One male civilian worried.
Kirie heard that and narrow her eyes a little to see this kid hostage only to become even more shocked because that poor kid is none other than Katsuki Bakugo, he struggles to break free and get away from this gooey villain only to fail a few times.
"What the Hell?! How is Katsuki capture?" Kirie asked worry.
Katsuki struggles some more until he finally got his mouth out of that sludgy body.
"You picked the wrong guy to mess with. I'm gonna send you back to whatever sewer you crawled out of!" Katsuki yelled as he starts making explosions from his hands.
"Let me go!" Katsuki unleashed a powerful explosion that seem to have done the trick.
"You got so much power. I really hit the jackpot!" The sludge villain smirked, showing that he is unharmed from that explosive attack.
"With a Quirk like yours under my control, I can take All Might down with one punch." The sludge villain believed as he starts consume Katsuki.
"Oh crap… He's gonna do the same thing he tried to do to me." Kirie gasped, the feeling the villain trying to get into her body causes her to shake in fear.
"It's her! That new hero, Mt. Lady will stop him!" A girl spotted Mt. Lady charging in all big, but she stops all of a sudden.
"My only weakness! I need at least a two lane road if I'm gonna make my way through here." Mt. Lady gasped finding herself at a tight space.
"You're so useless! Don't you have more control over your damn giant Quirk?!" Kirie yelled angry.
That's when Kirie started to look around seeing the other heroes have extreme difficult like Kamui Wood rescuing any civilians in the area, but can't do anything about the fire because of his wood Quirk could easily get burn.
Backdraft is putting out the fire as best he could with his watering Quirk, but they just keep on coming and spreading.
Death Arms and a couple other heroes can't get close to free Katsuki because of the sludge villain keeps them at bay with stretching his long slimy body, and even using the boy's Quirk for extra measure.
"Damn! If I only had more power, I could blow this guy away." Death Arms cursed himself.
"What are you idiots doing? It doesn't matter if you don't have the right power, you should still be able to save him!" Kirie scolded even though no one was listening.
Kirie can clearly see the heroes are anger and hating themselves for not being able to do anything like how Death Arms' arms are shaking with frustration, she can even see Mt. Lady looking angry for not being able to get there soon.
That's when the skinny form of All Might arrived at the area to see the sludge villain and gasp on realizing how he got away.
"(Must've dropped him in the air.)" All Might thought recalled when Izuku was clenching onto his leg.
"(I was distracted, worrying about my time limit. I can't believe I made such a rookie mistake, and after telling that kid about what it takes to be a hero. I'm pathetic.)" All Might thought cursed himself as he clutches onto his scar.
That's when Izuku hurried into the scene after seeing the call history of Kirie's messages and her text saying she's close to the shopping district, seeing the crowd and Kirie as he comes through.
"Kirie, what's going on?" Izuku asked.
"Izuku! The sludge villain who ambushed us is attacking and he got Katsuki!" Kirie explained and pointed at the helpless Katsuki.
"What?!" Izuku gasped as he turns to see the same sludge villain from before, realizing that it was his fault for making All Might lose that villain because of his stupid obsession and wanting to ask him some questions.
And then he saw how Katsuki is struggling to get free from the villain only to fail every single time as the sludge villain slow consumes his body, that's when something unexpected happen.
Izuku started running towards the danger so suddenly as everyone becomes shocked.
"IZUKU?!" Kirie screamed as All Might is shocked too.
"No wait, you idiot! Stop! You're gonna get yourself killed!" Death Arms shouted.
"(This kid!)" All Might thought felt something in his body when seeing this boy.
"Hey, that's the brat with that girl from before." The sludge villain recognized.
"Deku?" Katsuki saw him as well.
"(What am I doing? Why am I running? Why can't I stop!)" Izuku thought shocked of this.
"You're toast, kid!" The sludge villain readied to end this boy's life.
But then something was thrown at the sludge villain fast before he could react hitting him right in the left eye, this causes great pain to the villain and that loosen his grip on Katsuki just enough for his head to be free.
The object reveals to be a shoe thrown by Kirie who is running toward the danger too.
"Damn it!" Kirie screamed as she activated her Quirk to get there faster.
"Kacchan!" Izuku called out as they reach Katsuki and Kirie grabs him by the collar to pull him out.
"What the hell? Why are you two here?" Katsuki asked.
"Ask Izuku!" Kirie yelled.
"I dunno. My legs… They just started… moving!" Izuku panicked as he helps Kirie pull him.
"(This kid!)" All Might thought felt inspired as he forces himself back into his hero form.
Izuku didn't know why he just charge into danger without even thinking as the memories of his life of both the bad vibes of people doubting him and Kirie believing in him, he thought maybe it was the look on Katsuki's face.
"Kacchan! I couldn't just stand there and watch you die!" Izuku said with tears coming out.
"Honestly, you're too good for your own good." Kirie smiled.
"Maybe so…" All Might appeared right behind the two.
"Heroes always risking their lives, the action of the hero is the true might!" All Might grabbed Katsuki pulling him out of the sludge villain and grabbing the other kids with that arm.
"Damn you, All Might!" The sludge villain angered.
"Detroit Smash!" All Might unleashed a powerful punch that created a big tornado that blew the villain away and putting out the fire too.
A short moment later, rain suddenly started pouring down and clouds appeared as well with one big hole in the middle. Everyone realizes right then and there that All Might changed the weather with a single punch.
All Might raises his fist in the air and the people cheers loudly for him to save the day, he turns his head to look at Young Midoriya and that Kirie girl.

Izuku has learn more about All Might than he could ever realize with the weaken form and scar along with sharing some inspiring words he learned from Kirie, this got All Might to save them a little earlier and even helped encourage Izuku to go be a hero. And it would seem All Might also have something else in mind for Izuku.
