Once Hope got back to the living room she could see things were pretty serious. Finn was on the ground, of course, with a dagger in his chest, and Esther was on the ground, asleep, and her family yelling and arguing. Hope once again decided to: go in, sit down, and stay quiet.
"No! Why should we even take a chance to keep her alive? She tried to kill all of us!" Yelled Kol, but to be honest, he always wants to kill someone. The thing is though, Esther's actions today no longer separate her from someone and family.
"Oh shut up Kol, you're always wanting to murder someone, I'm growing tired of your incessant drivel." Yep, there it is. Rebekah said it.
"Calm yourselves, both of you. We have nothing to gain from arguing amongst ourselves like uncivilized animals. Both of you have your own opinions and they are quite reasonable. How about we listen to what Niklaus and Hope have to say?" Said Elijah, it was always him who provided order in the Mikaelson household. Otherwise Hope was sure anarchy would have long risen.
"Kill her. I have no care for whatever happens to that wench." Said Klaus coldly sweeping his gaze around the room before exiting. No doubt going to his private paint room.
"Look at all of you. So quick to kill our own mother yet the thought never occurred to you that Klaus' spawn may have lied? You're pathetic, all of you." Rebekah viciously spat before she too, exited the room.
However, the seed of doubt was already planted in Kol's mind. Elijah on the other hand, was unaffected by her accusations. He already knew Esther was plotting against them because of all the evidence: Silence Sage, Esther's forgiveness, Elena's lies, and Hope's word is just the icing on the cake.
"Do not mind her Kol, Hope's word alone is not all I have to go off of. However, she has no reason to lie. I do hope all of you welcome her into our family soon." Said Elijah, while he knew otherwise, he wasn't sure if Kol had been affected by Rebekah's accusations.
"Yes well, I wouldn't hold my breath on that Lijah." He ended, before once again, another person exited the room.
"I do hope you don't take this to heart. You should know my siblings can be quite... Difficult at times. Having come from the future and all." Said Elijah before slowly leaving Hope by herself. Once she was alone, all she could do was release a heavy sigh before sprawling out on the couch.
"What a long day..."
*SCENE BREAK*
"Elena? What are you doing here?" Said Hope, she didn't expect to run into Elena on her normal morning jog. Turns out the two have some stuff in common, but she can keep the more... Elena stuff to herself.
"I don't know Hope you tell me. Am I trying to get my mind off the constant danger me and my friends are in, or am I running from the fact that 3 of your family members might try to kill me at any time?" Elena snapped with a clear attitude in her tone. Hope wasn't sure where this came from, or why she blamed her.
"Ugh, what do you expect me to do about that Elena? 2 of them are your fault. You lied and tried to kill us behind Elijah's back, and you stuck a dagger in Rebekah's back when all she wanted were some friends. You should be lucky I don't become the fourth." Hope was starting to get really annoyed with this. What right did Elena have to be mad at Hope because of the consequences of her own actions? Especially when Hope had nothing to do with any of it.
"So you're telling me you wouldn't do the same thing to protect the people you love? You're telling me I should just watch them die?" Said Elena starting to raise her voice, little did she know she was starting to press the buttons of the most powerful person in the world. These were dangerous words that no one should ever say to Hope.
"Elena..." Hope warned as the ground began to shake, and Hope started to tremble. No one had ever dared to say some of the things Elena was saying to her so she couldn't build up much resistance to comments like that.
"You're telling me I should do nothing?! Well, I'm sorry to say that there's no difference between that and killing them yourself! If you want to kill someone you love then you can do that alone!" Yelled Elena, completely oblivious to what was happening around her. Even if she did notice it though, it was too late. She had already said something she shouldn't have.
The ground cracked beneath Hope, and her magic surged so violently that it started to appear around her like thick wisps of pure light blue energy. Elena's eyes went wide, Damon, who was following Elena for her safety, and rarely got scared, started to feel pure fear.
"What right do you have to lecture me? What right do you have to tell me what's wrong? What right do you have to say what you're saying when you'd gladly let your friends and even yourself die just so you can do what you want to do?" Hope spat viciously as her magic exploded outwards, sending Elena crashing to the ground. Damon at this time vamp sped at her, intending to snap her neck. However, he didn't expect Hope to have tribrid hearing. She snapped her fingers as a cracking sound resonated outwards as Damon fell to the ground, and his leg was twisted at a 90-degree angle.
She raised her hand as Damon floated into the air. With her other hand, she rubbed her middle finger and thumb together as Damon started to burn, but there was no fire. His clothes and skin started to slowly turn to ash, and his face reddened with 3rd-degree burns.
"Stop!" Elena screamed as Hope came back to her senses. She let her arms fall to her sides as Damon fell to the ground.
Then, Hope started to tremble. She was scared of what she could do sometimes. This moment proved to her more than ever that the guilt of Elijah and Klaus dying stayed with her. Not to mention killing Landon was still fresh in her mind. Tears fell from her eyes as she hugged herself shaking her head. The traumatic memories making themselves evermore present.
She took one last glance at the two as she ran. Elena who saw all of this, looked at her in wonder. If she felt bad for what then there was still a chance she could bring Hope to her side. Just maybe with a less... direct approach.
Damon who had just healed, vamp sped over to Elena throwing two hands on her shoulder's as he concernedly inspected her.
"Are you okay?" He asked, once he got a nod in response, his face immediately went serious.
"What the hell were you thinking? That you could piss off Klaus' daughter and not get attacked?" Damon scolded shaking her to try to further enunciate his point.
"I don't know, maybe it's the stress or something. I just snapped, and I don't know why." She admitted.
"Well, today proved more than anything that she's dangerous. We need to treat her the same as we treat Klaus."
*SCENE BREAK*
"Dad." Hope spoke, as she walked into his paint room making him aware of his presence. Klaus' on the other hand flinched, he still wasn't used to being a father and frankly, he wasn't sure he even knew how to. Hope on the other hand didn't put much thought into it, it just came naturally to her, calling him by his name felt weirder in comparison.
"Need something sweetheart?" Klaus said as he put down his paintbrush, turning around to face her. Then he noticed her seriousness, whenever Hope was serious it was never good. He wasn't sure what it was, but he knew he might need to be ready to kill someone depending on what it was.
"I have something to admit." She said, her gaze staring at Klaus as if studying his every feature.
"Well get on with it luv, no need to be so ominous," Klaus responded, seemingly dissatisfied with her delay.
"Marcel Gerard is alive and ruling New Orleans right now." She let out, still studying his every feature as if he was going to explode at any minute.
"What?"
