Boss arrived at The Prosecutor's brig, completely vacant with the exception of one Toydorian. After speaking to Tabura, Captain Martz was happy to classify her as a non-threat. She would be released into the custody of Boss until the captain could decide the next course of action for her. The duo made their way to the ship's canteen.

"I never properly introduced myself. Name's Tabura. Businesswoman, supplier, fixer. Means whatever you or the ship or the republic needs, I will provide at a very reasonable price, but whatever! What do they call you other then '1138'?"

"Er…'Boss'. I'm a Commando which means… I'm a Commando."

"Nice to meet you 'Boss' and I just want to say I heard about what happened. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure the republic-"

Boss stopped Tabura before she could go into another well rehearsed speech.

"Yeah, I have a question for you. Why did you even want to sneak onto a republic gunship?"

"Well after I was sent away, I just hid nearby hoping we could talk later. Then during the ambush, I took a risk and seems like it paid off-"

"I don't care about the how. I asked why. We both know it wasn't for profit or gratitude. So let me ask again Toydorian, why are you here?

The merchant couldn't fool the commando and they both knew it. She stayed silent until they reached the canteen and sat down. Boss quickly noticed a shift in her posture and demeanor as she gave the first honest answer since meeting the clone.

"…Okay, all my wings on the table, I'm here to request asylum. I wasn't just a merchant; I was one of the biggest merchants and suppliers of the Geonosians."

"So now that you've profited from our deaths, you want to us to help you retire?"

"No, that's not it! A few weeks ago, a republic representative came through the market looking to buy some supplies. Gave them exactly what they asked and even gave a few recommendations for weaponry and armour. Turns out they were given to this elite clone commando squad who assassinated some big sergeant and blew up an armoury. Before the war, the Geonosians didn't care who I supplied, you can imagine how they feel now."

Boss believed her story. He was very aware of many squads who received their supplies from Geonosis and was sympathetic towards her.

"Can't you just apply for asylum properly through the proper Republic channels?"

"Tried that. I was approved and put on a non-priority wait list, they hope to issue my visa by 7958 CRC. Roughly three years after the Geonosians kill me for unintentionally helping you guys. So, you see why I got a bit desperate."

"I'm sorry to hear."

"Nah it's fine, it's not like it's your fault. It was a crazy plan to begin with. I know this isn't a passenger ship, but now that I'm here, there must be plenty of jobs I can do. What about the Ship's counsellor? The Colonel dying, I'm sure it must have been upsetting and traumatic for your whole team."

At this moment, Scorch ran into the Canteen holding a datapad in his hands with Sev following close behind.

"Give it back Scorch!" Sev yelled before tackling his squadmate in front of Boss and Tabura who had a look of mild amusement on her face.

"Miss Tabura, this is Scorch and Sev. Our upset and traumatized commandos." Boss said sarcastically. The two commandos quickly ceased wrestling and stood at attention for the Toydorian.

"Nice to meet you properly gents. I heard about what happened today. If you ever want to talk about it-."

"There's nothing to talk about." Interrupted Sev.

"Yeah, Bugtra was an asshole!. I mean if someone took their helmet off in front of me, I would have-"

"There is nothing that we could have been done! Now if you'll excuse me ma'am..." Sev punched Scorch in the gut and snatched the datapad from his hands. "I have a report to write." The sniper declared before running out the canteen doors chased by Scorch, nearly colliding into Fixer in the process.

Fixer walked over towards Boss, clearly in a bad mood.

"Amateurs. Complete bunch of Amateurs!"

"Bit harsh Fixer, they're still your squadmates."

"Not talking about those two! Have you seen what they're doing to our recon droid? They don't have a kriffing clue what they're doing."

"A bunch of highly skilled droids don't have a kriffing clue on how to repair another droi-"

"They are completely wrecking him!"

"Sorry Him?" asked a slightly confused Tabura.

"It. Wrecking it. A7-I haven't named it okay!"

"I'm sure he'll be very upset to hear that." Boss said dryly.

"I'm Tabura by the way. If you want a new Recon droid or just want to talk, feel free to-

At this point Fixer had spotted Sev who had came back into the Canteen having finally shaken Scorch off his trail.

"Is that Oh-Seven? The little Fierfek, he broke into my locker!"

Fixer chased Sev who quickly ran out the canteen doors for the second time. Boss caught Tabura chuckling to herself, almost like she was reminiscing about something.

"Winning their trust, it always takes a while. Believe me I have...I had 4 kids. Hey what if I joined your squad? I don't have much combat experience, but I can learn! Could I do that?"

Before Boss could respond, Two clone sergeants approached him.

"Three-Eight. Captain Martz wishes to talk to you urgently. We will watch the Toydorian in the meantime."

Boss made his way out of the canteen doors. He looked back at Tabura one last time and thought about her offer to join the squad. It stayed on his mind all the way to the Captain's ready room.
