Chapter 12: Hiding Out With Trolls

Ever since Black Mask took over Arendelle for his own and had kept his goons out patrolling the kingdom, the Frozen Cast had been hiding out with Grand Pabbie and the Rock Trolls in the Valley of the Living Rock. During the time they were staying at Kristoff and Sven's old home, they kept thinking of ways on how to take back their kingdom from Black Mask. Olaf was chatting away with some trolls while Kristoff was playing his old lute to lull the baby trolls to sleep. Kristoff's music also put Sven to sleep who was listening as well. Anna, Elsa, and Jacob were all sitting on a log together while they were thinking. Grand Pabbie himself came over to them with some warm tea. "Would any of you care for tea?", Pabbie asked. "I'll have some.", Anna answered. "Me too.", Elsa said. "I think I'm good, but thanks.", Jacob said. Pabbie poured the sisters some tea in the cups he gave them and began to drink. "Thanks again for letting us stay here for the time being, Pabbie.", Jacob told the head troll. "Please, there's no need to thank me. You all are welcome here anytime. I wish I had some magical solution that could make this problem go away, but I'm afraid my magic doesn't help with fighting gangsters.", Pabbie said. "Shouldn't Cliff and Bulda be back soon with info regarding the situation down there?", Anna asked. "They should be. They said they would be back. Hopefully, they didn't get caught.", Elsa said. "Seeing as how stupid Gotham gangsters are and the fact you guys can disguise yourselves as rocks, I don't think they would notice them.", Jacob said. Just then, a couple more rocks were rolling towards them and stopped to reveal Kristoff's adopted parents. "We're back, but we don't have good news.", Bulda said. "How bad is it?", Anna asked. "Black Mask has his guys walking around the kingdom to keep an eye out for any of you. He's already making things harder on all the citizens and has even assaulted an old man.", Cliff explained. "We're gonna have to do something eventually. We can't just keep sitting here and sipping tea. No offense, Grand Pabbie. It's delicious.", Elsa said. "None taken and I'm glad you like it Elsa. "We have to go back and force him out!", Elsa said. "And we will, Elsa. We just have to think of a good strategy. That's how we got through all our other adventures. We're going to force that evil son of a bitch out of there and get your kingdom back.", Jacob told his girlfriend. Elsa gave him a warm smile as he was trying to make her feel better. She rested her head on his shoulder while hugging herself. "I really wish I had my mom's shawl with me. I always wear that whenever I feel on edge.", she said. "I agree. That would be nice to have right now.", Anna said. A little while later, everyone fell asleep except for Olaf who was waiting until everyone was asleep. The snowman had heard that Elsa wanted her mother's old shawl which she kept in her room to help put her at ease. Being the sweet, naive, and loyal friend he was, he began to leave the valley to go get her that one thing. He was stopped when a little female troll asked, "Olaf, where are you going?". "Don't tell anyone, Halle. But I'm going back to the castle to get Elsa's shawl. She really looks like she needs something to make her happy and I want to be the one to cheer her up.", Olaf said. "But isn't that a bad idea right now with what's going on there?", Halle asked. "Maybe, but I've really gotten better with sneaking around and I'm sure I won't be spotted. If anyone asks where I am, tell them I went berry picking or something. I want it to be a surprise.", Olaf said. "Okay, but be careful.", Halle warned Olaf. "Will do. Bye!", Olaf said as he left the valley to go back to the castle.
