Chris: Previously on Total Drama Action - Nichelle, "convinced" me to let her throw a birthday party for MK! Oh, isn't that nice?
Footage from the party was shown: MK and Nichelle arriving at the cafeteria, all of the contestants singing "Happy Birthday" to the short girl, followed by her blowing the candles.
Chris: Unfortunately for them, the party was cut short, cause once midnight hit, we started our challenge. At first, they were told that the theme is "adventure movies", but once Scary Girl won the fake challenge, the genre quickly became "zombies".
The next footage played shows the teenagers standing before Chris' mansion. It's followed by SG finding the key under the doormat, finding the book in the basement and lastly, Axel noticing the zombie intern girl.
Chris: Despite Scary Girl being… Scary Girl and Axel spent her entire life, preparing for this exact scenario, it was Emma who ended up being our final girl and won the challenge! Luckily, she was presumably traumatized for life after seeing all her friends turning into "zombies"!
Scenes of the contestants being turned are played in order: Lauren, Axel, MK and Nichelle, Wayne, Damien, then it cuts to the footage of Emma crying after successfully escaping from the mansion.
Chris: At the elimination ceremony, it seemed like MK was in danger, cause Damien learned what really happened to his idol, but in the end, Scary Girl was the one who took the Walk of Shame! Who's going to follow in her tracks? Find out in today's episode of Total Drama Action!

The intro begins with the camera flying through the filming lot. It stops at a beach set, where shirtless Caleb is sunbathing. He gets a jealous look from Bowie who's making out with Raj, the hockey bro being too focused on his boyfriend to even pay attention to Caleb. The camera moves again to a set that looks like a very dark and creepy forest. Emma and Chase are sitting on a bench kissing, while a bush behind them starts moving. Suddenly a masked character with a chainsaw jumps out of it scaring the couple and causing Chase to push Emma, while he runs away. The masked character starts to giggle and takes off the mask revealing herself to be Lauren. The camera moves a bit to the side as Chase passes by Millie, Priya, and Damien. Millie is holding her notebook and looks like she's about to write something there, but stops herself and puts it back. Meanwhile, Priya and Damien are talking about something with Priya blushing. The nice conversation between the two stops when they see Millie running from something and they immediately start running after her, as Lauren starts chasing them with a chainsaw. When they disappear out of sight, Axel reveals herself, camouflaged to be almost completely unidentifiable from the trees. The camera moves again to the cafeteria where Nichelle vents about something to Zee and Ripper. While Zee seems to be amused, Ripper is visibly bored, so he farts to entertain himself. Nichelle immediately starts gagging and runs past MK who holds something in her hand but hides it in her jacket as soon as she notices the actress. At last, the camera shows the big theater where Chris and Chef are standing, both wearing matching, fancy suits. Then it pans to the audience, where Wayne and Julia, both wearing formal outfits, are sitting next to each other. The Hockey Bro is smiling at the girl, who's too busy using her phone, but after a few seconds, she notices him smiling, frowns, and walks away, saddening the boy. The camera then shows the whole shot of the audience, showing that all of the contestants are there, wearing fancy suits or gowns. The intro ends with showing the logo of the season which is nearly identical to the original Total Drama Action.

Damien and Wayne walk into their cabin, both clearly exhausted after the zombie-filled day. The blonde boy stripped to his boxers, getting ready to go to bed, while Damien just sat on his bed and sighed heavily, getting the attention of the other boy.
Wayne: Is everything alright? I thought you'd be happy that Lauren got eliminated.
Damien: I thought so too! I was targeting her this entire season, but the day she actually went home, I didn't want it to happen! It should have been MK! - The blonde boy sat down next to a science nerd and tried to put his arm around him, but Damien just pushed him away - Wayne did you know? Did Julia tell you?
Wayne: What? No! I would have told you!
Damien: The same way you told me about your vote for Millie? Because, a slight reminder, but you didn't tell me.
The blonde boy looked down at his feet.
Wayne(confessional): I still feel awful about Millie and Zee and how I lied to Damien. I know it was just strategy, but… I don't know! I don't think it's for me! I'm impressed with Bowie, Emma, and Julia and how easy being strategic comes to them.
Damien looked out at his friend and sighed, before moving closer to him.
Damien: I'm sorry, I'm being unfair. You more than made up for it by voting out Julia… You know what?
Wayne: What?
Damien: We're the last 2 guys standing. We gotta stick together! So I have a plan - You get Emma to vote for MK, I get Axel to do the same and once we make f5, we get our allies to target each other instead of us.
Wayne: Wait… But If I make f4 with you, Axel, and Nichelle, wouldn't all of you target me?
Damien: Oh definitely. But would you prefer to have a guaranteed final 4, or to be potentially in danger of being the target at f6 and f5? Also, if Nichelle sided with you and Emma, then I will be the obvious target!
Wayne: Well… What you're saying makes sense and the potential f4 of you, me, Emma and Nich is my ideal final 4… Alright then! I'm in!
The duo shook their hands with smiles on their faces.
Damien(confessional): Yes, yes, yes! This alliance is super important for my game! I'd hate for Axel to not make it, but now me, Nichelle, and Wayne are pretty much guaranteed to make f4! As long as MK won't win today's challenge, everything is looking great for me!

The camera shows the sun, crystal clear sky above the film set as it slowly turns into a dark night. Then back to a day, back to a night, and back to the day, when the footage cuts to show Emma sitting at the cafeteria, looking completely distant, while Wayne was enthusiastically rambling about hockey.
Wayne: …And as I was about to unleash the shot, BOOM! Next thing I know, I'm sprawled out on the ice, wondering what just hit me, when I see this bull on stere- Wait, Emma are you even listening to me?
Emma: Huh? - As the boy called her name, she looked around confused, before letting out an awkward chuckle - Oh! Yeah, yeah! Go on! I'm listening!
Wayne: …Right. So once I realized, I was hit by a bus-
Emma: Wait, you were hit by a bus?!
The girl jumped out of her sit, confused and cornered, causing her ally to roll his eyes.
Wayne: No. And you would know that if you listened to my story.
The girl looked down in shame as she sat right down.
Emma: I'm sorry Wayne, I'm just wondering like "What would Bowie do?". - The boy looked at her, confused - Well, you know! It's 3 pairs all against each other, so I'm trying to think of what would be the best scenario for us. Should we team up with MK and Nichelle and get rid of Axel and Damien or should we first go for MK, or-
Wayne: Em, come on! Lately, you've been spending so much time strategizing, just chill for a moment!
The blonde girl sighed.
Emma(confessional): Last time, my game was ruined at f6 and I was kicked out at f5. I'm just getting paranoid, cause I don't the history to repeat itself! I have a lot of things to prove. To myself, to my family, to fans of the show and I am so close, but also, still so far!
While the blonde duo was talking, Damien walked into the cafeteria and immediately set his eyes on MK who was eating her breakfast in the corner. The boy approached her with a smirk on his face.
Damien: Hope you're enjoying your last meal on this show. You are going down MK.
MK: Yeah, yeah. Even if I go home today, I will still be living rent-free in your head.
The girl chuckled to herself much to the boy's dismay.
Damien: Are sarcastic jokes your coping mechanism or do you just can't take anything seriously?
MK: Former. - The girl answered nonchalantly while continuing to heat her lunch - Are Wayne and Axel so boring that you prefer to stand here and watch me eat than talk to either of them?
The boy rolled his eyes before walking away from the kleptomaniac.
MK(confessional): I will be honest, Damien surprised me. Out of anyone left in the game, he would be my last pick for being so petty and bitter.
Damien(confessional): I am petty?! She stole my idol! And she used it to vote off my girlfriend! And then she had the nerve to make an alliance with me! This is not petty. This is personal!
As Damien walked away, grumbling something under his breath, Nichelle walked past him, feeling the tense atmosphere that was between the nerd and the kleptomaniac.
Nichelle: This does not look good for us.
MK: Nope. It doesn't.
The taller girl sat across her ally.
Nichelle: Okay, so what is the plan? - She was answered by a nonchalant shrug - …You don't have a plan?!
MK: I'm working on it. I know that our best shot is to convince either Emma or Axel to vote for the other one.
Nichelle: Except there's no way that Axel is going to go behind Damien's back. She's not going to risk losing her closest ally this late in the game.
MK: And Emma was the one who told on me, so she would probably assume that even if she votes with us, we would betray her immediately after. That assumption would be right. I want her gone.
Nichelle: Crad. It's going to be a brutal ceremony, isn't it?
MK just nodded, while the camera moved towards the table where Damien and Axel were sitting at. The boy was looking in the direction of the Ex-Screenwriters, annoying Axel who loudly groaned getting his attention.
Axel: You spent too much with Scary Girl, now you're just as obsessive as she was.
Damien: If we voted for MK as I wanted to, everything would be fine!
Axel: No. Scary Girl would still get 4 votes and go home.
Damien: Well, I could have-
Axel: Damien, you really need to learn how to keep your mouth shut.
The boy took offense to that, gaining himself an eye-roll from the survivalist.
Damien: Excuse me?
Axel: If you kept your mouth shut, Millie wouldn't be eliminated after the 2nd challenge, I would be. If you didn't openly start to antagonize MK, she would have no way of knowing that you know what she did to Priya, meaning that we could use her and Nichelle for one more vote, before turning on them, without them suspecting everything,
Damien took a moment to rethink it, but eventually, he nodded with a defeated expression.
Damien: Man, you're right.
Axel: I know I am. Nichelle and MK are the weakest physical players in the whole cast, except for maybe Zee and Millie. Getting to the finale with one of them would be the ideal scenario, but now it's out of the question.
The science nerd took another moment to think, a smirk slowly forming on his face.
Damien: No… Not really. I'm still pretty tight with Nichelle-
Axel: So is MK. And Wayne. And Emma.
Damien: I know, but I'd say that after MK, I'm the closest to Nich. If MK gets eliminated, Nichelle will become allyless and at this point, she won't be picky if we offered her an f3 deal.
Axel: Emma is smart and Wayne isn't a complete moron either. One of them will think of the same plan.
Damien: Not if they will think, I'm with them! - Axel raised her brow, confused - After MK's elimination, I will pretend to ditch you, cause "you're the biggest challenge threat". I'm close with Wayne, so he will let me into their alliance.
Axel smirked, impressed.
Axel: Honestly, that might work.
The boy smiled, proud of himself, when the duo turned their heads towards the entrance, right at the moment when Chris walked into the cafeteria.
Chris: Goooood morning actors! You guys spent the last month together, getting to know each other, your interests, character, quirks, so how about we do a little test?
Emma smiled and leaned closer to Wayne.
Emma: That's good! I'm good at tests!
Chris: Don't get too excited! It's not going to be a normal test! I will ask you 10 questions and as an answer, you will give the name of one of your fellow contestants still in the game. - As he spoke, Chef walked over to the final 6, giving each of them a card of paper - If you answer with the majority, you gain a point. The winner of this mini-challenge will get a huge advantage in today's challenge immunity challenge.
Damien: So is the theme for today like "high school movies"?
MK: Haven't we already done that one?
Chris shook his head with an irritated expression.
Chris: I will be honest, this challenge is only vaguely related to today's theme.
Axel raised her eyebrow.
Axel: So why are we doing it?
Chris: For drama. Obviously. - The host said with a wide smirk on his face - Now if we can start, ekhem. - He cleared his throat, before pulling out a bunch of small cards and started reading from them - Which of you is the pettiest?
MK looked in Damien's direction and smirked before writing on her card, meanwhile, Wayne looked around confused before setting his eyes on one of the contestants.
Chris: Alright, if everyone is done, please reveal your picks!
Everyone turned their cards: MK voted for Damien, Emma for Nichelle, Wayne for Axel, while the other 3 voted for Emma. Those votes visibly shocked or offended most of the people who received them, but especially Emma.
Emma: WHAT? why me?!
Nichelle: We all watched the last season and how you treated Chase…
Emma: Yeah, 'cause he broke my brakes! Is that a petty reason to hate him?!
The actress just smiled awkwardly and shrugged. Meanwhile, Axel look with a confused face at Wayne who eventually noticed her stare and chuckled nervously.
Wayne: I didn't really know who to vote for, but then I remember your beef with Damien earlier in the season.
The girl just huffed as everyone turned their attention back to Chris.
Chris: I'm really enjoying what is happening right now, keep up guys! Next question - Which of your peers, you can imagine yourself dating?
Wayne and Damien cringed at the question, while Emma rolled her eyes. After a few seconds, everyone revealed their answers and Nichelle received all of their votes, causing her to smirk proudly.
Emma(confessional): I obviously wouldn't want to date Nichelle, but she's a beautiful, rich actress. It made sense that she would receive most of the votes!
Nichelle: I am so flattered you guys! I just wanna say that all of you have great taste!
MK: Of course, you'd say that.
The short girl said while staring at Nichelle's card, which also had the actress' name written across it.
Chris: Well, everyone gets a point for this round! Damien, Nich, and Axel are all tied with 2 points each! Let's get to the next question…

A montage began showing the contestants writing on their cards, with Chris' voice echoing in the background:
Chris: Who is the biggest threat left in the game?
Soon after everyone revealed their votes: Emma, Nichelle, and Wayne voted for Axel, while everyone else voted for Emma.

Chris: Who did not deserve to make it this far?
Damien and Emma voted for MK, whereas everyone else voted for Wayne. The blonde girl looked at her ally, completely flabbergasted.
Wayne(confessional): I felt bad voting for anyone, cause I think if you made it this far, you deserve it! So I voted for myself to not make anyone feel bad, but… Yeah. Is that what people feel when they don't get picked for dodgeball?

Chris: Who is most likely to win this show?
Once again, the majority's answer was Wayne. This time, he was the only one who voted differently with Emma being his pick. He smiled at first until he noticed others staring at him weirdly.
MK(confessional): Wayne is nice, "likable", good at challenges, and allied with a way bigger threat, all of these things allowed him to slide under the radar and not be targetted, but maybe that is the exact reason why we should target him?

Chris: Last 2 questions remaining! So far Nichelle answered all of them correctly and has 8 points, Axel has 7, Emma and Damien are tied at 5, while Wayne and MK have 4 points each. The next question is… Who is most likely to go home next?
MK just felt everybody's eyes on her and groaned with annoyance. A few seconds later, to no one's surprise, she received everybody's votes, including her own.
Chris: This leaves just one more question, but let's say that… As long as Nichelle answers it incorrectly, the people in the majority will gain 3 points.
Nichelle: What? Why?
Chris: To add tension to this challenge? Duh?
Nichelle: You are literally punishing me for doing well at this challenge!
The host just shrugged, causing the blonde girl to dramatically rolled her eyes.
Nichelle(confessional): Typical Chris! You can do everything flawlessly, but until he announces you as the winner, you can still lose and go home! …Actually, you're not safe even after getting announced as the winner.
Chris: The last question is… Who is most likely to betray their allies?
Damien stared at MK much to her annoyance. Emma clutched her head before letting out a sigh and writing her answer, while Nichelle was visibly thinking it through.
Chris: …Alright, the time is up! Show me what you've got!
MK was the first to reveal hers, having written her own name. Right after her, Damien revealed… That he wrote Emma. The girl looked confused, as he smirked at her.
Damien: I mean, we weren't allies when you eliminated Priya.
The girl rolled her eyes, as Axel revealed that she also wrote Emma's name. Wayne just shook his head, seemingly more offended than the girl herself.
Wayne: Come on guys, Emma wouldn't betray me or anyone for that matter! Right, Em?
With a guilty look, she revealed her vote, which was also for herself, much to the shock of others, especially Wayne. She quickly got defensive seeing their reactions.
Emma: I betrayed Bowie last season, so I expected to get the majority! But that time was different! I was completely blinded by my… Love for Chase, but that is in the past! I would never betray you, Wayne!
Chris: How sweet. - He remarked sarcastically - Anyway, Wayne, Nichelle reveal your votes. Quickly. We still have the next part to do.
Wayne turned his card to show that he wrote MK's name. Meanwhile, Nichelle smiled from ear to ear as she also revealed her vote to be for Emma.
Nichelle: Yes! Woohoo!
The girl stood up and clapped, beaming with excitement.
Nichelle(confessional): I won a challenge! Okay, a reward challenge, but whatever! Oh my God, I was stressed out earlier in the day, but now I have such a good feeling about this episode!
Chris: Pretty underwhelming ending, but whatever. Congratulations Nichelle on winning an advantage for the next challenge which is…

The 6 contestants and Chris stand before a huge, expensive-looking building.
Chris: …Themed after action movies!
Nichelle stood there, eyes wide open, before she enthusiastically started clapping and jumping from excitement.
Emma(confessional): I'm not into "spiritual" stuff. Astrology, stars… Destiny's children, but the action movie star who is known for being terrible challenges, wins a reward challenge that gives her an advantage for an action-themed challenge? It's like… Oh, okay, what a… "Fun" twist of fate.
Chris: For this challenge, all of you will be playing the roles of special agents tasked with gaining access to the special, hidden information hidden on the highest floor of the building behind me. There are 5 floors, each filled with traps and obstacles and to win, you need to get through all of them.
The contestant nodded along, except Nichelle who raised her hand.
Nichelle: Um, and what is my reward for winning the mini-challenge?
Chris: You can take the stairs on the back of the building which will allow you to skip the first 4 floors.
The actress gasped with excitement and clapped her hands as the others looked at her with jealousy, however, the only one to speak out was Axel.
Axel: What?! How are we supposed to catch up to her if she can skip almost the entire challenge?!
Chris: Relax. The stairs are also filled with traps and if they get activated, Nichelle will have to get back down and only then will she be allowed to go up again. Is that fair?
Axel just rolled her eyes as the entrance to the building was opened. Chris took 5 of the teenagers inside, while Chef lead Nich towards the back.

The actress stood before the stairs, doing a little jog and stretching.
Nichelle: Okay, Nichelle, you've got this girl.
Nichelle(confessional): This is MY moment. I waited the entire season to prove and redeem myself and an occasion like this, will never repeat myself.
As the girl took one last deep breath, the camera took a close-up of her face, a determined expression on it.
Nichelle: Showtime.

A quick cut later shows a completely exhausted Nichelle laying on the stairs, completely out of breath. The camera slowly pans away revealing that she only made it to the first floor.

Meantime, in the building, the 5 contestants were standing in an elegant building, made from marble. Tons of sculptures decorating the walls, but the inside was almost completely empty. All of them had their eyes locked on the tiled, 10x10 floor.
MK: …We can all agree that most of those tiles are traps?
Everyone nodded, but no one had enough courage to actually check it. They stood there for a few more seconds before Axel got annoyed.
Axel: We can't stand like that, it would be giving Nichelle a free win. Somebody has to step on one of those tiles.
MK: Well, be our guest.
The short girl and the other 3 took a step back. Seeing this Axel groaned with annoyance, before taking a step onto the tile before her. The survivalist and the other 4 waited in anticipation, but nothing happened. She smiled and confidently took another step, but that tile immediately disappeared and as the girl lost the ground beneath her legs, she fall into a dark, empty hole.
Damien: Axel!
He, Emma, and Wayne immediately run to the safe tile and looked at the hole left in the ground, trying to look for the zombie expert, but it was too dark for them to see anything there.
Axel: …I'm fine. It's like a 3 feet drop.
Emma: Do you see how to get out of there?
The question was answered by the sounds of slow and cautious steps.
Axel: …There's a ladder in here, but I will only be able to make it out of here after one of you, steps on the wrong tile in the first row.
Wayne, Emma, and MK immediately set their eyes on Damien, who looked back, confused.
Damien: What? Why me?
MK: Cause she's your ally?
The science nerd sighed, before stepping onto the tile the closest to him. It immediately opened, causing him to drop, and as he hit the ground a loud yelp of pain was heard.

After a cut, Axel and Damien were standing in a circle with MK, Wayne, and Emma.
Wayne: We gotta beat this one together, there's no other way.
Damien: As much as I don't like the concept of working with some of you… - He specifically looked at MK while saying that - …I have to agree. Do we think that each row has only one "correct" tile?
Emma: No way! Some of them would have to be levitating, which is not possible.
Wayne: Which means all of them have to be connected!
MK: Congrats captain obvious, do you want a cookie for your discovery?
She rolled her eyes, but the boy smiled enthusiastically.
Wayne: Oh, I love cookies! Thanks, MK!
MK: Wait-
Emma: Exactly, wait a second! I also want a cookie!
MK: Oh my- I don't have cookies! That's just a saying!
The blonde duo looked down, disappointed.
Emma: Oh.
Wayne: …Honestly, you shouldn't promise cookies if you can't deliver on that promise.
At this point, clearly irritated Axel just groaned.
Axel: Can we stop talking about stupid cookies?! Listen, here's the plan: We will be taking the risk in turns, so at first I will be the one checking all of the tiles, but once I fail, Damien will take my place, then Emma, Wayne, and lastly MK. We will do that until we're at the finish.
Damien and Emma: Alright.
Wayne: Yeah, let's do it!
MK just nodded in response.

A montage of the contestants trying to do the challenge is played. It begins with Wayne taking a step and the tile staying on. He smiles at the others and Emma is about to step on it until some steam starts coming from it. After a few more seconds, the malfunctioning tile folds, letting him fall, before suddenly appearing again, crushing his legs. As the other watch in shock, it folds once again, just to appear a few more times, crushing his groin, stomach, and neck, before it finally lets him fall.
Wayne(confessional): I am… In so much pain.

The 5 were almost halfway there, a lot of the floor being gone by this point and this was Damien's turn. He looked at the floor before him, before gaining an idea.
Damien: Wait, what if we can just run through it?
He looked at the others who shrugged. He got into a position, ready to run, but as he was about to start sprinting, a wall appeared right before him, causing him to smash into it. Dizzied, he stumbled backward onto seemingly safe tiles, but they folded, letting him fall into the hole.
Emma: …Nope. We can't do that.

When it was Axel's turn, the path was only 1 tile away from the wall to their right. The cadet cautiously examined the tiles from afar much to the dismay of her "teammates", but after a moment, she stood and took the one next to the wall. The brunette stood on it for a few seconds, before she felt it breaking down, so she jumped right back onto the tile where the others were. She sighed relieved, but just a moment later, the tile with the entire group folded, causing all of them to fall below.
MK: This challenge sucks.

The contestant although bruised and not in the best shape, has almost made it to the end. At this point, they dimmed down the options of the last tile to just 2 and it was Emma's turn. The blonde girl kept looking at one and then at the other, completely undecided.
Wayne: Come on Em! You've got this!
Emma: Hopefully…
The preppy girl closed her eyes and jumped on one of the tiles but it immediately folded. As she fall to the ground, the blonde girl groaned from pain.
Emma: No. I don't.
Meanwhile, MK and Axel immediately run to the 2nd floor. Damien waited a few seconds before running after them, while Wayne looked down at his friend.
Wayne: Should I wait for you?
Emma just stood up, stretching a bit, before making her way towards the latter.
Emma: No, just go! I will catch up in a moment!
The blonde boy nodded and quickly left. A few seconds later Emma made her way out of the hole… Just for the floor to go back to how it was before she and the rest started the challenge. She stared at it in disbelief, but it quickly turned into pure rage.
Emma: WHAT THE F-

While his ally was now stuck on the first floor until she does that challenge all over again, Wayne moved on to the next room, where he was greeted with a sight of MK, Axel, and Damien all holding a bomb-like invention with 2 more standing next to them.
Wayne: Uh, hey guys, what are we supposed to do?
Axel and MK stayed silent, but luckily for the blonde boy, Damien took pity on him and threw the device toward the hockey bro.
Damien: Click the red button on top and a timer will start. You will get 5 minutes to solve how to deactivate it.
Wayne: And what happens if I fail?
Damien shrugged, causing Wayne to gulp. As he was about to click the button, his attention was grabbed by MK who let out a noise of excitement.
MK: Ha! Later losers!
Damien: What?! How did you already get it?
The girl just shrugged and quickly ran out of the room. Seeing this Damien and Axel picked up their pace, while Wayne started working on his device.
MK(confessional): Give me any challenge that requires some handiness and craftiness and I'm easily taking it! This might give me enough time to take the W! I'm in it, baby!
Axel(confessional): I have to admit that I was very disappointed to lose the zombie challenge, cause that's like my whole thing and I get that action movies are Nichelle's thing, but zombies and action just go together. Since I lost the previous challenge I'd want to win this one, but the first part was teamwork and this one is logic! Where is the part where we get to kick butts and run through lasers?!

As MK walked into the next room, her smile quickly turned into confusion as she saw a maze right in front of her.
MK: Huh, I guess they ran out of ideas. This is too easy, just gotta follow a left wall and eventually, I will make it out!
She snickered and quickly made her way inside it. Pretty quickly, the path divided into 2 directions, but she immediately took a left turn, disappearing inside the maze.
With her out of the camera's range, it panned a bit to the left to show the warning sign that the girl missed: "Warning, the labyrinth is full of guards. If you get found by any of them, you will go back all the way to the first floor."

Meanwhile, Nichelle continued slowly making her way up the stairs, despite how physically draining it was for her.
Nichelle(confessional): I know that for some of you, it might seem pathetic, but I have a valid reason! When I was like 5 or 6 I fell down the stairs and since then, I was always carried whenever I had to walk them. First by my family, then by my bodyguards once I became famous! It's not natural for me! But whatever, I can do whatever it takes to win this! Nichelle Ladonna is not a quitter, nuh-uh!
As she reached… On the 3rd floor, the girl's legs gave up and she collapsed, which immediately caused her to break down.
Nichelle: I quit! I can't do this!
The girl got on her knees and start sobbing into her hands when she suddenly heard the weird high-pitched noise that usually indicated announcements.
Chris: Wow, every time I think that you can't get even more pathetic you manage to lower the bar! I'm impressed!
Nichelle: Ugh, you sound exactly like the voices in my head!
Chris: Um, that was… Pretty disturbing actually! …But not enough to make stop laughing at how terrible you are!

In the monitor room, Chef watches as Chris deviously laughs at Nichelle's vulnerability straight to the mike, causing the girl to get even sadder. After a few more seconds of it, the man pushes the host and he starts talking.

Chef: Nichelle is that really who you are? Are you really about to just give up like that?!
Nichelle: Yes?
Chef: NO! Think about all of your fans at home. Think about all of the little girls that watched previous seasons and rooted for Leshawna and Jasmine and now they watch this one and root for you. - As the war vet was giving her the pep talk, the actress wiped away her tears and slowly calmed herself down -Think about Jerry, who's watching this at home, LAUGHING at you.
This. This was what she needed to hear. Just the mere mention of his name filled the tall blonde with determination to win the challenge.
Nichelle: I. HATE. YOU JERRY!
She stood up and started running up the stairs with a war cry.
Chef: That's the spiri- What?
Much to Chef's confusion, Nichelle only managed to make it through 5 steps, until she was once again out of breath.
Nichelle: Slow… And steady… Wins the race.

Back in the camera room, Chef shook his head before turning off the transition. As he turned around he noticed Chris staring at him weirdly.
Chris: And since when do you care enough about the contestants to give them pep talks?
Chef: Oh, I'm just hoping that Nichelle will appreciate it and meet me with some of her friends from the industry. I'm a big fan of Ryan Rainnolds.

Back on the 2nd floor, Damien was working on his device, when he finally managed to get it to deactivate.
Damien: Yes! Woo-hoo!
As he was about to run off in an attempt to catch up to MK, he was quickly grabbed by Axel, with a desperate look on her face.
Axel: You need to help me.
She pointed at the clock on her "bomb", which only had 1 minute remaining. The boy looked at it, then at the exit, then at the device again…
Damien: I don't know, we can't let her win this…
Axel: If we work together for this entire challenge, we increased our chance of winning. There was already one co-op challenge and they might be another one!
The boy hesitated, but he finally took the machine from the cadet's arms and started working on it. He started with the 3 different colored cables and plugged them into spaces with matching colors. Then he moved to the other side of the "bomb" where there were 5, white buttons each with different animals: Mouse, Elephant, Dog, Fox, and Monkey. He clicked them in order from the smallest animal to the biggest, which caused the light above them to turn green. With 10 seconds left, he quickly looked through the entire device, when he found a green cable and pulled it out, stopping the timer and impressing his ally.
Axel: How did you do it so fast?
Damien: I'm just smart like that.
Damien(confessional): No I'm not. I had to do the exact same thing with mine.
As the duo quickly run out of the room, Wayne stayed there alone, completely confused as his timer was slowly coming to an end.
Wayne: So… Is no one going to help me?
He started hearing a "peep" noise made by his "bomb" as it hit 5 seconds left. Then 4. 3. 2. 1.

Emma was halfway done with finding the path on the first floor when she suddenly heard an explosion above her, completely distracting her.
Emma: What was that?
As she lost her focus, she stepped on the tile before her, which immediately folded and caused the girl to fall into the hole, much to her annoyance and pain.
Emma(confessional): I am not having a good time.

Back to Wayne, he and his clothes were completely charred by the explosion, despite the bomb being basically intact. In a state of complete confusion about what just happened, the boy coughed up some more of the char.
Wayne(confessional): I am not having a good time.
He finally shook off the dust and char out of him, before looking at the screen on the bomb which now said that he has to click the button and wait another 5 minutes before he can make another attempt at deactivating it. He sighed, before activating the device again.

Meantime, Axel and Damien arrived on the 3rd floor, where they stared, confused at the maze.
Axel: Huh.
Damien: Yeah. I guess they ran out of ideas?
Axel: Whatever. You know the strate-
She stopped halfway through the sentence when she and Damien saw MK casually walking out from the path to the left and going to the path on the right.
MK(confessional): One flaw of the "always go along the left wall in the maze" strategy is that you're wasting a lot of time if the entrance is on the right side.
Damien: …The strategy of always following the one in the lead? Yeah, I'm aware of it.
The duo smirked at each other, before quietly sneaking behind the short girl. They followed her until another divide of the path, where she once again followed the left wall, but as Damien started to go after her, Axel grabbed him.
Damien: What are you doing? We can't lose track of her!
Axel: What if that's the wrong path and she will turn around and see us stalking her? Maybe we should-
The girl was interrupted by the sound of MK's scream. The Directors duo peeked their heads from behind the wall to see MK being held up by some robot guard.
MK: Let me go you oversized microwave!
The short girl struggled, but the robot had a strong grip on her. A hatch in the floor opened and the robo-guard held MK above it, much to her terror.
MK: Um… Actually, you have really nice arms, so-
It didn't even let her finish, as the girl was dropped down.

As she flew right past Wayne's back and seemed like she was about to crash onto the 2nd floor, another hatch there opened, which instead, caused her to crash on top of Emma, all the way on the first floor.
The 2 girls groaned, neither happy with the situation, but Emma quickly pushed the shorter one off of her and looked in confusion at her.
Emma: MK? What are you doing here?
MK: One of the traps got me, duh. - She rolled her eyes - And you? We finished this floor a long time ago.
Emma: Did you not notice that I'm not with you guys?!
MK: Honestly, you could just disappear from the entire show and I probably wouldn't notice.
She chuckled to herself as the blonde girl rolled her eyes at the remark.
Emma: Whatever, just help me. - She pointed at what was in front of them. They were only 1 tile away from reaching the exit, and once again, Emma limited their options to only 2 tiles - Last time, I choose wrong, and as a "reward," I got stuck on this floor. Can you make this one choice?
MK: Oh, so if I choose wrong, you will leave me there and make me do this challenge from the start the same way we did it to you?
Emma: What? No! Why would I do that? I will wait for you and we're both going to reach the end of this floor. Together. Deal?
She reached out her hand and after a few seconds, MK shook it. The short girl looked at the 2 options before her and rolled her eyes.
MK: It's just a game of luck, so whatever.
Beanie girl closed her eyes and jumped onto the tile on the left… It stayed. Emma clapped her hands, excited to finally leave this room after spending so much time in it… Until MK pushed her off to the hole. The blonde girl glared at the shorter girl, standing on the last tile, smirking to herself.
MK: Sorry, but I gotta win!
With that said, the kleptomaniac quickly made her way out of the room, making the room reset each other, all while Emma just watched it in complete disbelief.
Emma: …WHAT THE F-
Emma(confessional): Screw strategy. MK has to go.
MK(confessional): Oh whatever, Emma is just another name on the long list of people that are furious at me. Whether I did it or not, I would still go home today, unless I get this immunity, and getting Emma back to the start of the challenge, really increases my chances at it.

Back to Axel and Damien, the duo were flabbergasted by what they witnessed. As MK was thrown down the hole, the robot turned in the direction where the duo was, causing them to go back into hiding.
Damien: What was THAT?!
Axel: A robot?
Damien: Ugh, yes, I know, but… Oh, whatever. How do we deal with it?
Axel looked through her pockets before pulling out a small knife.
Axel: I throw this, it distracts the guard and we quickly run past it.
Damien: Smart, BUT, what if there's more of those guys?
The cadet rolled her eyes before pulling out even more small, survival stuff. Damien just looked at it in shock, while the girl smirked.
Axel(confession): Knowing how to, cause a distraction was the first thing I learned in my "how to survive apocalypse" training.

Meanwhile, at the exact moment as MK made her way to the 2nd floor, she saw an explosion, caused by Wayne's bomb, leaving the boy the boy even more charred than before and his clothes in not the best state.
MK: Wow, you're still on this?
Wayne: Yeah! After every fail, it explodes right into your face and then you gotta wait another 5 minutes just for it to explode again and give you another chance to solve it!
MK snickered as she grabbed another device and started to quickly work on it.
MK: Good thing that it won't happen to me. - Wayne watched in amazement as the short girl quickly deactivated her machine and smirked at him - See? Easy. See you later.
She was about to run out of the room until the hockey bro blocked her path.
Wayne: Wait! MK, you've gotta help me with this! Please!
MK: Hmmm, let me think about it… No.
The boy sighed, as the short girl ran right past him and out of the room.

Nichelle, very slowly made her way up the last few stairs.
Nichelle: Breathe in, breathe through, breathe deep, breathe out.
She was completely drained and looked as if she just ran through a marathon during a hurricane. Her legs were shaking barely giving her any support, and her clothes were completely soaked with sweat, but despite all of this, she smiled seeing as she was only one step away from making it to the last floor.
Nichelle: I… I made it… I made it!
She was overjoyed, as she put her leg on the last step… But she immediately felt her leg activating some mechanism. The actress waited for a few seconds just to hear the loud pitched noise coming from the nearest speaker.
Chris: Bad news Nichelle, you just activated a trap, which means that now you need to get all the way down before you can start going up again!
As soon as she heard the news, all of the color left her face. All she could hear was Chris' taunting laughter. The actress took a few seconds before she climbed the safety barrier of the stairs, which finally put an end to Chris' taunts.
Chris: Wait, what are you-

Emma once again was halfway done, when she heard a noise, as if something fall down 5 floors and smashed onto the ground. The preppy girl looked around confused.
Emma: What is with all of those weird noises that I keep hearing?

Outside, Nichelle laid on the concrete, seemingly unconscious.
Nichelle(confessional): Um, I only jumped for dramatic effect, I didn't expect it to actually hurt! Ugh, Jerry would probably jump from the 5th floor and nothing would happen to him! UGH, I hate that man!
The tall blonde continued to pathetically lay there until she finally pulled her face out of the ground and slowly started crawling her way upstairs.
Nichelle: I… have made it once… And I will make it… Again… Ouch.

Axel and Damien stood in a room full of lasers.
Damien: What do you think those lasers do? Trigger an alarm and lock the doors for a certain amount of time? Maybe they also open a hatch and force you to start from the beginning?
Axel: There's one safe way to find out.
The girl crouched and quickly ripped out a small fragment of fabric from her pants. She grabbed one end of it with one hand, and the other end, with the other hand and pulled the fabric in front of the laser, which quickly "cut" it in 2.
Axel: Here's our answer. It just hurts.
Damien: Man! This sucks! Those lasers are too close to each other, there's no way to get through them without getting fried and even if there is, it's going to take ages.
Axel: Well, I had an idea, but you won't like it.
Damien: I mean, if it's going to help one of us win the challenge, I can survive a few lasers… I think
Axel looked down at the floor with a guilty look.
Axel(confessional): As much as I like Damien, sometimes you gotta go with the "survival of the fittest".
Axel: Okay then. On my signal, you run.
Damien: Wha-
Suddenly, the girl pushed him right into the lasers, with the boy immediately feeling the burns, caused by them on his right side… But that meant that he blocked the left side from the lasers, which was used by Axel, who hid behind him as if he was a shield.
Axel: Run!
Despite all of the pain that he felt, he complied with the command and started running towards the exit, motivated by the non-stop sensation of being fried by lasers. Axel ran right beside him and altho a few lasers got to her, it still was nothing in comparison to her companion. After a few seconds, they made it to the other side where Damien immediately collapsed onto the floor.
Axel: Yeah… Sorry for that.
The boy just groaned in response as the girl made her way into the last room.
Damien(confessional): She better votes MK on the next ceremony or… Or… OR, I will be VERY upset!

When she made it to the final floor, the survivalist couldn't believe her eyes. It was… Completely empty, except for an open safe at the other side of the room. She looked around when she noticed something on one of the walls.

Emma: FINALLY!
The blonde girl started doing her little dance as she stood right in front of the exit of the first floor.
Emma: I'M FREEEEE! Worst experience of my life!
After sending, the last one, hateful look towards the first room, which was midway through resetting, she went on her merry way to the 2nd floor.

As she walked there, her wide grin quickly turned into confusion as she was immediately met with the sight of the bomb exploding right into Wayne's face.
Emma: Ohhh, so that's what I kept hearing on the first floor.
She thought to herself out loud, which grabbed Wayne's attention. The boy coughed up the chart before waving toward his friend.
Wayne: Hi Em! Wow, you spent a long time there, you really liked that room, huh?
Emma: No. - She answered with a deadpan expression before approaching the table with the bombs and taking one for herself - So, what am I supposed to do here?
Wayne: Click the red button and then you will get 5 minutes to deactivate it! If you fail you gotta press it again and wait 5 more min-
Emma: Done!
The boy stared wide-eyed, his mouth open.
Wayne: Wh-What, how?!
Emma: I don't know. I just clicked some random things! Do you need help?
Wayne: Well, I currently have to wait 5 more minutes, before I can start again, but-
He looked around just to see that the blonde girl was nowhere to be seen, having already left the room. He sighed, feeling completely out of it.

MK had only one last corner to get through before finishing the 3rd floor, which was good! But it was blocked by a robo-guard, which was bad. As the beanie girl tried to come up with an idea on how to deal with it, she heard some footsteps behind her and she turned around she saw a very pissed-off Emma.
MK: Oh, Emma! Hiii, how are-
Emma: Don't even bother.
The beanie girl rolled her eyes, before turning her attention back to the guard.
MK: Whatever, be mad if you want to, just don't interrupt me right now. This guy was the one who sent me all the way to the bottom and we gotta distract him somehow.
Emma: Oh yeah for sure! - She said sarcastically - I see right through you MK. You just want to waste my time, so Nichelle can win this challenge.
MK: What?
The blonde girl rolled her eyes and walked out of their hiding spot. She nonchalantly tried to walk past the giant robot, but as she was about to make it out of the maze, she was grabbed by it.
Emma: Huh? Get your hands off of me!
Seeing this, MK saw her opportunity and quickly run past the occupied robot as a hatch opened on this floor and the floor beneath. Emma was holding onto her dear life, but the raw strength of the machine was too strong and she was dropped down all the way to the start.
Emma: …WHAT THE F-
MK(confessional): See? Being mean pays off! If I was a nice person, Emma would trust me when I warned and we'd both be stuck there, but thanks to me not being that she thought I was playing her and allowed me to make it to the next room! Thanks, Emma! Really appreciate you being so mollo!

In the next room, MK immediately got the hang of what was up with lasers, thanks to the fabric from Axel's pants left on the floor… And Damien who was half-consciously laying at the end of the room. The girl quickly pulled many… "borrowed" stuff from her pockets and started rummaging through them.
MK: Wayne's fake beard… Damien's photo of Priya… Zee's can of soda- Ew?! Why do I have it?
The girl threw it in front of her, just to see that the laser bounced off of the can. She smirked deviously seeing this and carefully picked it from the ground.
MK: Ha! This is the first time Zee is not useless! - She continued looking through her things - …Millie's pen. Scary Girl's make-up palette… One of Julia's crystals!
MK put the crystal in front of the nearest laser and just as she expected, it was bounced off in the other direction. Having the crystal in one hand and the can in the other, she slowly started to make her way through the lasers. When she was about halfway done, she accidentally moved one of her hands, which, caused one of the lasers to hit her in the ankle. She screamed in pain, before blocking it, but it allowed to Damien to see what was going on.
Damien: Ugh, you?
MK: Yeah, I knew you missed seeing my face, so I decided to get here to cheer you up!
Damien: Well, it's not working. - The boy rolled his eyes as MK continued to make her way through the room - I would advise you to give up already. Axel has been in the final room for quite some time and she's probably about to finish.
MK: Thanks for the advice, but unlike you, I'm not stopping until I hear Chris' announcement of the winner!
Damien huffed with annoyance.
Damien: For the record, I didn't give up, I was just fried by all of the lasers.
MK: Let me guess, Axle used you as a shield?
She was met with silence, which only confirmed her assumption. The kleptomaniac chuckled to herself as she managed to make it to the end of the room.
MK: Thanks for the talk, but I have a challenge to win! Later loser!
MK quickly ran out of the room, much to the boy's dismay.
Damien(confessional): Whatever! I don't like MK being so close to the finish, but I know that Axel got it in the bag! She's been in that final room for like 20 minutes now!

As the short girl made it to the final floor, she was shocked to see it empty, but even more so by the fact that Axel was just standing there, leaning against one of the walls at the very start of the room. The dark-haired girl snickered as the cadet rolled her eyes.
MK: Huh, Damien would be very disappointed to see that he sacrificed so much, just for you to make 0 progress on the final part of the challenge.
Axel: Whatever. If you want to, just get to the safe.
She nodded at the other end of the room, towards the open vault. MK was about to happily go there until she got suspicious.
MK: …Why do you want me to go there?
Axel: No reason.
Despite having a good poker face, MK was not buying a single thing that came out of the survivalist's mouth. She slowly approached the other girl.
MK: Move.
Now it was Axel who snickered. She looked down at the shorter girl, knowing that there was nothing that MK can do.
Axel: Or what?
The two stared into each other's eyes, both trying to look as threatening as they could… Until their attention was grabbed by the side doors being opened.
Nichelle: Hallelujah! I've made it!
The actress was completely out of breath and immediately leaned against the wall for some much-needed break. It took her a few seconds to realize that the other 2 girls were staring right at her.
Axel: Dang, Nichelle you look…
MK: Horrible?
Axel: That's rude, but yeah. What happened?
Nichelle: Stairs.
MK and Axel exchanged looks of disbelief, but they quickly shook off the feeling once they remembered who are they talking to.
Axel: First of all, you need a personal trainer.
MK: Second of all, see that safe? - She pointed at the other side of the room - Go get whatever is in it.
Nichelle: Uhh… Why?
MK and Axel: …Why not?
Nichelle: Good point!
After one last deep breath, Nichelle stood up and slowly made her way toward the safe. The two other girls watched in anticipation for something to happen… But nothing did. Quickly their curiosity changed into shock, once Nichelle reached the other end of the room and pulled an… Empty card from the safe.
Nichelle: K, I've done it. What's the last challenge?
A high-pitched noise was heard in the entire building.
Chris: Congratulations to… Nichelle? You, somehow, won the immunity!
Immediately, the actress let out a long, exaggerated gasp, before starting to jump from the excitement.
Nichelle: I won! I won!
After a few more jumps of pure happiness, she fell to the floor, sobbing. She clutched her head in disbelief. For the first time in this entire show, Nichelle Ladonna showed everyone who underestimated her, that she is capable to win and it visibly meant a lot to the girl.
Nichelle: I can't believe I did it!
Nichelle(confessional): The last season was an embarrassment for me. I lost so many fans, opportunities, everyone was calling me pathetic, and frickin' JERRY signed a deal with Netfilms to film a documentary about how it is to be a stunt double for a "spoiled brat"! I waited the entire season to redeem myself to show, that Nichelle Ladonna is not pathetic, that I'm not an embarrassment. I started losing hope that I will do it, but now I know what I'm capable of! SUCK IT JERRY! You and your stupid documentary! I DON'T NEED YOU!
While Nich was bawling her eyes out, MK and especially Axel were watching it with complete and utter confusion.
MK: Why… Why did you just not do it?!
Axel: Because it was supposed to be filled with traps that send you to the start! I waited for someone to get in and show me how to avoid them!
The cadet moved, revealing what she was blocking: A warning sign that read "This room has traps that will send you to the 1st floor". As the two girls looked at it, then at the crying mess that is Nichelle, Chris could be heard laughing through the speaker.
Chris: Someone is shocked? Look above you!
The duo did as the host said and they gasped in shock, once they realize that the ceiling is filled with buttons.
Axel: You have to be kidding me…
Chris: It was my original idea! You know, just wanted to reward the brave… Or stupid.

At the campground, Emma and Wayne were talking when they were suddenly approached by an enthusiastic Nichelle, and an awkward feeling (and looking) MK.
Nichelle: Hi guys! We all know that Axel is-
Emma: No.
Nichelle was taken by surprise by Emma's deadpan answer. Before the tall girl could even defend her case, the other blonde girl walked away. The actress looked at Wayne, in an attempt to get him to side with them, but the boy just looked down at the floor, before shrugging and walking away after his ally. Nichelle turned around, facing her ally, who just chuckled nervously.
Nichelle: What did you do to them?!
MK: Um… Nothing?
The taller girl let out a defeated sigh.
Nichelle: Well then, what can we do?! Do you… I don't know, maybe you have another idol or something?
MK: Nope. Pretty sure that was a one-time thing only.
Nichelle clutched her head, having run out of ideas.
Nichelle: I… I don't know. Unless you somehow get immunity, I don't think there's a shot for you to survive this ceremony!
MK looked down at the ground, trying very hard to come up with something. It couldn't be the end for her. She went through so much, survived so many obstacles, and played such a good… Strategic game. Her mind couldn't fathom the idea of her going home this week, nor the next one. She had to come up with something, anything… And eventually, she did.
MK: …It's risky, but it might work.
The actress looked at her, a mixture of intrigue and fear on her face.

With the arrival of the night, the 10th elimination ceremony of Total Drama Action could finally start… If not for the fact that one of the contestants wasn't there. Chris grew impatient as he looked at his watch.
Chris: MK, where is Nichelle?
MK: How am I supposed to know?
She shrugged, causing the man to grow even more annoyed. Fortunately for him, a nervous Nichelle appeared at the entrance of the theater and quickly made her way toward her seat right next to MK.
Chris: Finally! Took you long enough!
Nichelle: Sorry, I just had to… Think of some stuff. I lost track of time and look! I didn't even put on a wig!
She pointed at her very wigless head, but it didn't amuse Chris who just rolled his eyes.
Chris: Whatever, let's just start, shall we?
He nodded at Chef and stepped back, allowing the larger man to have the podium all for himself.
Chef: Let's start with Emma.
Emma: What did I do?
Chef: You left your closest ally alone in a challenge where he clearly struggled, even though you yourself just went through a challenge where you struggled and would use any help.
The girl looked down at the floor, embarrassment and guilt washing all over her.
Chef: Axel, you used your ally as a shield, causing him to get so injured that he couldn't continue the challenge.
Axel looked with guilt at Damien, who now had many bandages on his right side.
Chef: And lastly MK, you sabotaged Emma during the challenge and also refused to help Wayne with it.
Both of the blondes looked with anger at the short girl, although Emma's stare was much more intense.
With Chef's part being done, now he was the one who stepped back, while Chris took the podium and smiled at the teenagers.
Chris: Okay then! Let's begin the vo-
Nichelle: Wait! I… I have something to say!
The girl dramatically stood up, a plot twist that even the host himself didn't expect. All eyes were on the actress, some looked at her with shock, some with fear, some with anticipation, and others with hope.
Damien(confessional): Um, what is happening? I am so confused right now, but whatever is going on… It can't be good.
Wayne(confessional): I very much don't like this! Why is Nichelle standing up and stopping the ceremony?! Did Mk manipulate her into quitting the game or something?
Emma(confessional): This can be so, so, so bad. Is this like another idol that you have to play before the votes are cast? If MK is saved, it might be over for me and I just can't imagine going home due to some stupid advantage, that wasn't even public knowledge!
Axel(confessional): Ugh, it's probably some stupid twist! It's not uncommon for the winner of the challenge to pick someone to get eliminated. I bet that's what's going to happen.
MK(confessional): Please, please, pleaaase Nichelle! I'm begging you, please do this! This… The confusion and the chaos might get both of us to the final 5.
Nichelle(confessional): I don't know what to do! I want to MK to stay in the game, but this?! This is madness! And I don't know if it's even allowed!
Back in the theater, the camera closed in on Nichelle's scared face. She looked at Axel, who kept her poker face, then at Wayne and Emma who were panicking, then at Damien who didn't understand what was happening, and lastly at MK, who was just mumbling "please" under her breath. Feeling sweat on her forehead, the actress wiped it, before turning towards Chris, who was clearly enjoying the show in front of him.
Nichelle: I…
The screen faded to black with a messege "To be continued" written in white across it.

Sorry for the long wait, I really couldn't get it together for the past few weeks! But I want to finish the season by the end of July and that's one thing that I'm set on. Ideally, I want to release the next chapter on the 20th, but I kinda have a busy week, so idk.

Shronut(ch8) - Sorry for not responding earlier, but I only saw this review after I published the last episode! Originally, ep8 HAD those things. There was supposed to be an epic montage of contestants fighting random interns and animals and each of them was supposed to unlock their special power before the final battle with Chris, but it turned out that RPG inspired challenge was too ambitious, and I realized that it's going to make the episode really long and I decided to cut it (and even with that cut, the last episode was the longest one at +12k words)
