The Real Mystery And A Problem
"So, what's this lake all about?" Tree Hugger asked her boyfriend. "The myth is," Byron answered, "There is a legend of a creature that no pony knows that lives in this lake." "Whoa," Tree Hugger said in response, "That sounds amazing."
"Well, it's just a myth," Byron replied, "A rumor." "Ok," Tree Hugger said, "So that's what those ponies were talking about?" "Yes," Byron answered, "Though I don't understand." "Understand what?" Tree Hugger asked.
"Why would they be talking about some kind of rumor?" Byron answered, "Unless some pony did see the creature. But who knows?" "Well," Tree Hugger said, "I kind of understand." "What?" Byron asked, and that's when it happened.
"What's that?" Byron asked." "Over there!" Tree Hugger answered excitedly. "I get it!" Byron said as the water in the lake began to bubble. "You are righteous," Tree Hugger said.
Suddenly, a small creature emerged out of the lake, followed by another one. "Hey," Byron said, looking at the creatures, "These are cute little guys."
What they saw were creatures resembling those dinosaurs that they saw a while ago, except these creatures have flippers instead of legs. "They are sea creatures," Byron said. "They must be the things those ponies were talking about," Tree Hugger said, "And our society didn't even mention them!"
"And I think we should understand something," Byron said, "There is a reason. And look!" Nearby, both ponies saw another similar creature but this one appears to be larger than the two in front of them. "That must be the mother," Tree Hugger said, "And these are her children."
"But where's the father?" Byron asked. Nonetheless, both ponies deiced not to interfere. Immediately, the two ponies enjoyed watching the sea creatures playing in the lake with the mother watching them.
"I know," Tree Hugger said, "This is a family of sea creatures." "Yes," Byron said, "This lake is their home." "Right," Tree Hugger said, "They're happy here." "That's true," Byron said.
Byron was about to say something more when trouble happened as several fireworks on the lakeside had gone off that startled the creatures. The mother quickly reacted and they've all returned to each other. "What's going on?!" Tree Hugger asked concerned.
"Oh no," Byron replied, "Poachers!" "Oh," Tree Hugger replied, "You dive now! Get out of here!" But it was too late. Byron is right as a large ship appeared out of nowhere and fired a rocket at the family of sea creatures.
The sea creatures were captured by a net. "No!" Byron shouted. Then the poachers have surrounded Tree Hugger and Byron and have kidnapped them. "What's going on?!" Byron asked demandingly.
Everyone is in trouble now and were dragged onto the ship by net.
