Going On The Mountain Way
The next day, both Tree Hugger and Byron had done their routine morning activities and left their homes to meet up with each other yet again. "Good morning, Tree Hugger," Byron said to his girlfriend.
"Good morning, Byron," Tree Hugger said to her boyfriend. "Okay," Byron chuckled, "This is not awkward." "I know!" Tree Hugger agreed, giggling. "I know this is fine," Byron added.
"All right!" Tree Hugger agreed, "Say what?" "Oh well," Byron sighed. They were still proud with their heroic actions yesterday and today, they decided to enjoy the whole day by doing whatever they want to do.
"So what's on your mind today?" Byron asked Tree Hugger. "Oh, just going out," Tree Hugger answered, "And let's not go to any lakes in the area." "Yes, I can tell," Byron agreed, "After that event, we'll be taking a much needed break from mystery creatures."
"If you say so," Tree Hugger agreed, "Now let me think." "Go ahead," Byron said. "I will," Tree Hugger said in response, "And I know where to go!"
"At last!" Byron, who suddenly became excited, added, "I mean where?"
Tree Hugger explained that there is a large forest at the base of the nearby mountain range in the area. "And you wanted to explore that forest since you were a filly, right?" Byron asked.
"Yes," Tree Hugger answered, "But my parents wouldn't let me. They say the forest is haunted or some other groovy thing."
"Well, I'm not the pony who is the one to believe in super-stupid nonsense," Byron said, "If you want to go to this said forest, let's go. It's what you want." "Yes!" Tree Hugger replied happily, "I do want to go and explore!"
"Right, so let's go!" Byron said.
At once, both ponies had set off to the said forest, at the base of the mountain close to their town.
They weren't looking for adventures that day, so they plan to spend the day off there instead.
