A/N: Hey there everyone! I'm going to be doing the chapters in this format from this point forward, in case you're wondering "capo" is the word for the beginning of a song like "finale" is the end of a song. So possibly no more "Parts".

Now, as to what I've mostly read in the comments regarding Inner Amity. Lot of y'all speculating that she's Amity's Inner Phantom. I won't dispel any of your theories, as the truth will make itself known later down the road.

And expect more of the "Coven" spell rings to be made in later chapters.

Thank you all for enjoying Kamen Rider Witch and I hope you're also enjoying Kamen Rider Amp (Amphibia crossover), which should be posted right now. Going to try and make it superhero weekend, also, a new episode of KR Witch will air tomorrow at Noon CST.

Without further ado, enjoy this ep! SHOWTIME!

The Bard Coven Headquarters, for those who wished to further their craft in the art of music magic, this was the place to go. Once a student graduated from Hexside, Glandus, or St. Epidermis, the graduated students had a choice to make. They could go into their family's business, pursue an education outside of just magic, or if they didn't feel as if they were ready to tackle such things, they could further their knowledge and skill in their preferred magic type by admitting themselves to one of the Nine Covens headquarters. They acted as a kind of college/university, some witches and demons used the opportunities afforded to them here to discover what it is they want in life, and others just want to become the best in their craft.

Each of the Coven Heads managed one of the headquarters, and this one was managed by the current head of the Bard Coven, Scooter Crane. He often wore a mask around the headquarters, sometimes he'd have musical designs on them, and there were others he wore for when he met Emperor Belos. The current Coven Head was wearing a crimson cloak, with a white mask that had a red treble cleft on it. His shirt was white, with a pristine brown vest, with gold accents on it. Below he had a pair of black pants and red leather boots.

Beside him was his protégé, Raine Whispers. They were a bit of an oddball, Raine didn't like the spotlight, despite being a Bard witch, a profession that pretty much came with the guarantee that you would be placed in the spotlight. Raine had terrible stage fright, however, that was not a factor when it came to their magical power. Raine's skill on the violin was masterful and beautiful, and their magical energy was extraordinary when they played. It was thanks to this that Scooter decided to snatch them up in order to hone that skill.

"Now, Raine," Scooter spoke, "I heard that you want to put on a little performance?"

"Y-Yes, Sir," said Raine. "With all the recent attacks by the Phantoms, I thought a little concert might help in lifting their spirits some."

Scooter nodded his head at his protégé. "Sounds like something that is truly needed in these…despairing times. Why don't I go to the Emperor and see if I can secure the use of the Crystal Broadcast System? Perhaps even the Grand Hall?"

The color practically drained out of Raine's face when they heard that. "T-T-The Crystal Broadcast System?! You mean the CBS that allows us to broadcast messages to the whole island?!"

"That very one. Why don't you assemble a few witches, some from here, and some from some of the schools? Promising ones at that, a little youthful joy to add to this occasion," Scooter suggested. The Head of the Bard Coven turned his head and saw the scared look on his protégé's face. "Come now, Raine, you must get over this stage fright at some point."

"Yes…I-I know, Master Crane," said Raine despondently.

Raine was a brilliant Bard witch, but their fear of the spotlight was quite the hinderance that Scooter Crane was trying to rid his protégé of. "Just concentrate on the music, the music will always guide you."

Raine seemed to perk up a little. "You're right, Master Crane. I'll get started on the preparations right away!"

Scooter Crane watched as Raine started on their way, but the Head of the Bard Coven went to his office space. Once inside, he pulled back his head to reveal jet black hair, he then removed is mask and showed a handsome face that was marred by a scar across his face. Scooter looked at the door to his office with his emerald, green eyes and then drew a spell circle. With a wave of his hand a layer of magical energy washed over the room, creating a barrier that prevented sound from leaking out. With another spell circle, Scooter made sure that no one would barge in on him.

It wasn't unusual for him to do this; Scooter Crane was often known to be composing in his office and sometimes required silence and privacy. The Bard Coven Head drew the curtains, preventing anyone from seeing in. Once the preparations were complete, Scooter Crane drew one more spell circle, a large one. He then projected that circle outwards towards the middle of the office. A few seconds passed before the center of that circle began fill with something. Another second and the inside was filled with the shadow of a huge creature, and five pairs of glowing eyes.

{Speak.}

Scooter Crane went down on one knee and bowed to the image before him. "Lady Tiamat, I am here to report on my current status."

{First, what news of this island's ruler? What moves does he make against us?}

"Not much beyond what he has initially stated in that service announcement. Emperor Belos likes to keep his plans close and dole out certain parts to different subordinates to complete. He compartmentalizes so much that it's honestly hard to get a complete read on what he's up to. However, I know he's working towards something, something that has to do with the Day of Unity. Whatever it is, it could possibly derail our plans," said Scooter.

The shadow was silent for a moment, as if contemplating Scooter's words. {I want to know what he is planning, see if there is a way you can get a closer look at what he's up to.}

Scooter smiled up at his master. "I have the perfect excuse to get into the castle, this host's protégé is planning to conduct a concert. I will go to the castle and see if I can secure it as a venue to hold the concert itself. It will serve a dual purpose."

{Hmm-mmm, I knew I could count on you, Pan.}

"Of course, Lady Tiamat, I will see your ambitions brought to fruition."

"And you're sure this isn't going to hurt…?" Gus asked worriedly.

Since the battle with Thunderbird, Luz had become greatly interested in what La Lechuza proposed about creating magical rings from each of the Nine Covens. With Amity's help, she was able to forge the Abomination ring, she already had Plant magic thanks to the Plant Glyph creating one of her base forms, so now Luz wanted to add Gus' magic to her arsenal. Partially to see if she could create a ring again, and partially because she wanted another ring with the power of her friends.

"I promise, if you want to wait and ask Amity tomorrow, you can. I'm in no rush," said Luz.

Gus shook his head. "No! I-I want to! I'm just nervous, and exited, and scared, and happy! I'm feeling a lot of emotions right now! Also, what if the ring's power is based on the magic of the person you create it with?! Amity makes sense, she's strong when it comes to Abominations! But, Illusions, I mean, they can't really do much, but some illusions are stronger depending on the magic and creativity of the witch. What if you get a bum ring with my magic?!"

Luz placed her hand on the young witch's shoulder and gave him the thumbs up. "That won't happen, because you're my friend, Gus! And magic born from friendship is the greatest magical power of all!"

Gus sniffled as a smile broke across his face. "That's inspired, Luz!"

"Ugh, all this sweetness is giving me cavities." Eda was sitting on her staff as it floated in the air. Next to her was Willow who was eager to see where this went. "And honestly, can we really trust what that monster inside is telling her?"

Willow looked up at Eda and shrugged. "I mean, aside from the little bit of trouble she caused back at school, her Phantom hasn't tried to hurt Luz thus far. Maybe it's not as bad as it appears or maybe pretends to be?"

Eda scoffed at the idea; she knew what it was like to live with a monster for most of her life. The Owl Beast was a constant existence inside of her, even on her good days she could feel that thing squirming around inside of her, just waiting for the chance to come out, any moment of weakness to exploit. Who was to say La Lechuza was any different? The only difference between that Phantom and the Owl Beast was that the Phantom, if it was successful in taking over Luz, it would be capable of magical feats and destruction that made the Owl Beast look like a minor pest. And, well, if she were gone, her loss wouldn't be as significant as Luz's.

"Are we going to do this or not? Otherwise, I say we try with another witch."

Calm down. "Alright, you ready, Gus?"

Gus sucked in a long breath and steeled his nerves. "Let's do this!"

Luz brought out the magic stone and placed it in Gus' right hand. Like before with Amity, Luz instructed Gus to close his hand around it. Once he had done that, Luz clasped her hands around his closed fist. Luz's Light Style ring began to shine brightly as yellow and azure magical light swirled around their hands. Gus could feel his magic and Luz's mixing together, creating a warm sensation within his hand. After a few seconds, a burst of yellow and azure light erupted around them, forcing Eda and Willow to close their eyes.

When the light faded, Luz released her hands and allowed Gus to open his fist. Gus could already tell something was different, once he opened his hand, he saw that the stone had changed into one of Witch's magic rings. This ring's stone was azure in color and had the image of a mirror, the symbol of the Illusion Coven. Luz carefully took the new ring from Gus and inspected it.

Well? Luz asked.

"Exquisite, tell Augustus that he was worried for nothing. This is a quality ring the same as Amity's."

Luz smiled at Gus and said, "La Lechuza says that the ring is perfect! And that it's as strong as Amity's!"

Gus' eyes practically sparkled with pride.

"Nice, kid, now why don't you take it out for a spin?" Eda suggested.

"Oh yeah!" Luz agreed.

Luz slipped on the ring and placed it over the Hand Author buckle around her waist.

[Illusion, Please.]

The ring glowed, but nothing happened. Everyone looked around to see if something was happening around them, but they still couldn't see anything.

"Huh…Maybe it's a dud?" Eda asked.

"There might a trick to it," said Willow.

Gus snapped his fingers as the realization hit him. "Of course, it's waiting for you, Luz!"

Luz quirked her head to the side in confusion.

"Illusions are created from the imagination of the caster! You need to envision what you're going to create!"

Luz decided to follow Gus' instructions, after all, he did skip two grades thanks to his skill in magic, so who else – other than Eda – to teach him how Illusions work? Luz concentrated, she needed to picture something in her head, something to create with her magic. She could feel that it was active now, as if waiting for Luz to command it. The Latina decided to do something simple, so she envisioned her creation.

An azure construct appeared before her, and in a matter of seconds, that construct took the form of Luz herself.

"YES!" Gus exclaimed.

"Wow," said Eda, impressed.

"It's another Luz," Willow gasped.

Luz looked at her clone, it was truly weird to see herself outside of a mirror. "This is wild…"

"I know right," Illusion Luz replied.

"So, you know you're an illusion?"

"Yeah, it's weird, I feel like I should have some kind of existential crisis from knowing my life is an ephemeral existence, but I'm strangely okay with that."

Luz looked to Gus and asked, "Do all illusion copies work like this?"

Gus shrugged. "They can sometimes act independently of the caster; you remember my copy when I took you to Hexside that one time when you were…still banned?"

Ah, that was a sore subject, but Luz did remember when Luz saw Gus' copy hold up a sign to them that read "I'm not paying attention!" in blatant defiance of what Gus had created the copy for. Luz stared at her construct a bit more before deciding to go and touch it, carefully she extended her index finger and pocked Illusion Luz in the arm, she expected the copy to vanish in a puff of smoke, but amazingly it remained.

"Amazing! A full bodied, tangible construct! Do you know what this means?!" Gus asked. "You can create a copy of yourself, and have it act as you whenever you transform!"

Luz's eyes widened with realization. "So now I don't have to worry about sneaking off and having everyone wonder where I am! I can just make you and then I'll transform! It's perfect!"

"Well, it is a good plan, but I'm not sure how much damage I can take before I go poof," said Illusion Luz.

Eda smirked. "Well, there's one way to find out."

Gus and Luz glanced towards Eda, noticing that smirk on her face. Without missing a beat, Eda drew a spell circle and released a blast of magical flames that roared towards Illusion Luz. The construct, Luz, and Gus yelped before they dodged the blast.

"What the heck?!" Illusion Luz exclaimed.

"What? We need to see how much damage you can take," said Eda.

"You could've asked if I wanted to get blown up!"

"Oh, okay, do you want to–?"

"NO!" Illusion Luz replied.

Eda sighed and said, "How else are we going to see how much damage you can take before you disappear? You're no good to Luz if you just go down after one hit. What if you get hit with a rock and then 'poof' you're gone?"

"Well hitting me with a fire blast is definitely going to make me go poof!" Illusion Luz shot back.

Luz walked up next to her construct and said, "She does have a point, Eda. We should work our way up." The witch in training turned to her construct. "Don't worry, we won't put you through that."

Illusion Luz nodded. "Thanks, and I'll make sure to not take a major hit. I'll be as quick as a cat. Plus, being a construct, I have no bones to break so I can be really flexible and bendy to avoid getting hit. Watch!"

The group watched as Illusion Luz suddenly twisted her arm around in ways that a humanoid body shouldn't be able to without incurring serious injury to the bones, muscles, and tendons. Everyone was a bit disturbed by the action, especially when Illusion Luz started to twist her head around in a three-sixty motion.

"Okay, that's enough! We get it!" Willow exclaimed.

Illusion Luz returned her head and limbs to normal.

Luz waved her hand and dismissed her construct. "Okay, so that was disturbing, but even better news, the drain on my mana wasn't the same as it was when I use the Copy ring! I think I'll use the Illusion in conjunction with the Copy ring, that way I only reduce my magic power by half instead of what happened last time."

Luz and Gus spent the next thirty minutes practicing more with the Illusion ring, creating different structures and objects, along with other people. By the time Eda called an end to the training Luz was able to create copies of herself, Amity, Willow, Gus, Eda, and King. She was even able to create a large copy of the Owl House itself, but only the exterior, the interior was only half done. According to Gus, the construct is only as good as the caster's memory, so if Luz wasn't familiar with every nook and cranny of the Owl House, or any other structure, then it would reflect in the illusion.

As the group walked back to the Owl House itself, Eda looked to Luz and asked, "So, any thoughts as to my ideas for the stand's change in merchandise?"

Luz sighed. "I don't know, Eda, Kamen Rider Witch merch sounds cool…but…"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait! Kamen Rider Witch merch?!" Gus asked. "What's this about?!"

"Eda had the idea of selling Kamen Rider Witch related stuff, figures, t-shirts, and other stuff, at the stand for the weekends. I mean, I'm not saying I don't like the idea, but it's…kinda embarrassing," said Luz with a blush.

Willow looked at her friend curiously. "Why would that be embarrassing?"

"'Cause, you know, it's me. I mean, they don't know it's me, but it still feels embarrassing to know that I'm selling something that's essentially me."

"But think of the possibilities!" Eda drew a spell circle and created constructs of the merchandise that they would sell at some point. "With your growing popularity as a hero, we can sell our Witch merch to those suckers who want to pretend to be a hero for a few minutes!"

Luz rubbed the back of her head as she thought about it, "Well, I mean, the franchise is famous for making merchandise, cosplay items, actions figures, and all sorts of stuff…Okay, fine, but I want to see prototypes of the merchandise! If we're doing this, it's going to be done right!"

Eda fist pumped as she exclaimed, "Hot dang, I can already see those snails flowin'!"

"Oh, oh, can I help with the prototypes?!" Gus asked.

"Of course," said Luz.

"Wait what? Why the short stack?"

Luz looked up at Eda and said, "Because if I'm busy with Kamen Rider stuff, or school stuff, Gus is the next best person on the island to verify the accurateness and functionality of the products, seeing as how I'm teaching him all I know about the Riders."

Eda sighed in defeat. "Fine."

There was a beep that caught everyone's attention, they looked between themselves before the beep went off again. This time it was followed by the appearance of a scroll in front of Willow.

"Sorry everyone, that was me." Willow unfurled her scroll and had a look. "Oh, it's from Skara!"

"What she say?" Luz asked.

Willow took a moment to read the message the Bard witch had sent, and after a minute her expression became one of excitement. "Wow, this is great! Skara's inviting me to a Bard Recital that's being put on by the Bard Coven."

Gus' jaw dropped. "No way, the Bard Coven itself is asking her to perform?!"

"Well, her and a few other talented Bard witches, but yes, she's among them! It's going to be held at the Great Hall of the Emperor! According to this but each participant in the recital is allowed to bring a plus one for a front row seat," said Willow. "Huh…?"

Eda raised an eyebrow at the curious look on the young witch's face. "What's up, you not happy about it?"

"No, it's just, I know we've started to be friends and all, but I would've thought she would invite Amity as her plus one."

Luz walked up next to her friend and threw an arm over her shoulders. "This just means that you're special to Skara, and I'm sure she's probably still trying to make up for her past."

Willow turned her scroll around to show something else. "At least you won't miss it, it's going to be broadcasted throughout the island on crystal balls and scrolls. It's supposed to help lift the spirits of the people after all the Phantom attacks."

"Anything that keeps hope alive is good with me, the less people who are in the despair the better. I am all for this! Let's go listen to some music!" Luz proclaimed.

Skara was elated to say the least, she was going to perform in the Grand Hall of Emperor Belos. Sure, she was going to be part of an ensemble, but still, she was chosen to be a part of the Bard Recital. Her parents were just as excited as she was, possibly more, mostly because, in their minds, this was an acknowledgment of their daughter's skill and got her a step closer to being the next possible head of the Bard Coven when she was older.

The idea of becoming a Bard Coven Head was appealing in the past, not exactly her endgame if she was being honest. But after everything that happened with Willow, her becoming friends with Luz, Gus, and Amity, she looked at the position of Head of the Bard Coven in a different way. Now she wanted to be the next leader of that coven because she wanted to bring the joy of music to others, and to introduce more of that human world type of music to the island, that "J-rock" stuff was so cool.

On the other hand, Skara also saw this as an opportunity to possibly strengthen her bond with Willow. She resolved to take things slow and build up trust with the Plant witch before she inevitably confessed her true feelings to Willow. And inviting Willow as her plus one was a great start to that. It was so refreshing to be in Willow's group of friends, she never felt like she needed to pretend to like something because someone else did, or laugh on command, or have to be mean when one of them was mean to someone else for some petty reason or another.

She was allowed to like the things she liked; she was allowed to be her quirky self and not get laughed at, and she was allowed to geek out about music. The others may not share her passion, but they understood her passion, and that was just as good. She learned of Luz's passion to be a witch like others on the island, before she met Luz, she was of the same mind that humans couldn't learn magic, but Luz has surprised her more than once. Gus was quite the smart young witch boy, and skilled at that, he was younger than them, but had advanced enough to skip two grades, which was impressive.

Willow was amazing, her Plant magic skills were strong, and she was loyal and protective of those she cared about. It was those traits and others that drew Skara's attention, and eventually her infatuation. She never knew why Amity stopped being friends with Willow in the first place, she was aware of their friendship, but Amity never talked about it, nor did Willow. They both seemed fine now, but Skara felt that there was more to that story.

Speaking of Amity, the young Blight witch was over at Skara's house, helping her pick something nice to wear to the recital, while also being something that would catch Willow's eye.

"What do you think, too much?" Skara asked as she held up a glittery red dress that was kind of painful to look at.

"Um…it's…flashy. Might want to tone it down a little, you don't want to blind the conductor, or distract the others," said Amity.

"Ugh! Right…I totally forgot!" Skara tossed the garment over her shoulder and rummaged through her closet. After a couple of seconds, she pulled out another outfit, this one being a black tuxedo. "What about this one? Too suave? Just the right amount of dapper?"

Amity, who was sitting on the edge of Skara's bed, was starting to suspect that this was less about the recital and more about something else. "Skara, what's really going on?"

"W-What do you mean?" Skara asked.

"I've seen you get ready for a recital before, and normally you can pick an outfit just like that," Amity snapped her fingers for emphasis. "But the way you're asking me about how these outfits look on you, makes me think that you're trying to impress someone other than your peers."

Skara's face started to turn red as she fidgeted in place. "Uh…well…I don't know if it's something to read into…" she said nervously.

Amity raised an eyebrow, still not convinced. "You're crushing on someone, aren't you?"

"…"

"Skara?"

"It's Willow."

Amity blinked. "What?"

"It's Willow, I'm crushing on Willow, and I don't know how to tell her!" Skara confessed.

"Oh…wow…I did not see that coming."

She was telling the truth, Amity never suspected that her friend had a crush on her old childhood friend, although now that she thought about it. Skara did agree to join on her botched attempt at asking Luz out, but only when she confirmed that Willow might be there. And Skara had been in contact with Willow a lot more lately, and that time when Skara almost turned into a Phantom, it only happened after Willow blew up in her face. The dots were connecting now.

"You should tell her how you feel, Skara," said Amity.

"I can't! At least, not right now…but I want to! It's just…after the way I made fun of her when I was hanging around Boscha, why would she ever want to date me? Friends are one thing but dating?! Ugh…" Skara leaned against the wall and lamented her situation.

"Wow, sound familiar Little Miss Perfect."

"Skara, you'll be alright, you should just tell her how you feel. I mean…compared to me, you don't have nearly as much baggage," said Amity.

"Baggage? What do you mean?" Skara asked.

Amity sighed as she patted the side of the bed, silently asking Skara to come and sit down next to her. The Bard witch strolled over and sat next to Amity, waiting to hear what Amity had to say.

"…You know that I was friends with her before I ever met you or Boscha, right?" Amity saw Skara nod a "yes" to her. "What you don't know is why I stopped being friends with Willow. During the birthday party, you know, the one that my parents invited you and Boscha to, my…my parents told me to stop being friends with Willow and told me to start being friends with you and Boscha."

"What?!" Skara exclaimed. She knew that Boscha and Amity's parents were…a bit much. But she didn't know that Amity's folks had forced Amity to stop being friends with Willow. "Why?!"

"At the time, Willow wasn't very good at magic, and because of that, my parents decided that it would be more beneficial to my future if I only associated with strong witches, as 'Blights only associate with the strongest of witchlings'. And Willow, again, at the time, didn't make the cut. They threatened to make sure that Willow wouldn't ever get into Hexside if I disobeyed them…so…for her sake…I told her that she was weak and didn't want to be friends with a weak witch…"

Skara gently placed her hand on Amity's shoulder in a sign of sympathy for her friend. She never knew that both of them were carrying that level of baggage, and Skara had a newfound dislike of Amity's parents. Looking back, Willow wasn't very good at magic, but perhaps that was only because she didn't realize her true potential in the type of magic she had the greatest affinity for. Looking back on it, why did it take so long for someone to notice how strong Willow was when it came to the use of Plant magic? If she had been taught that from the beginning, Willow may've become one of those so-called "strong witchlings" Amity's parents compared her to.

"But you guys are better now, right? I mean, I've seen you two talking and stuff," said Skara.

"Yeah, we've gotten better, still a little awkward here and there. But we're in a better spot than we were," Amity confessed. "My point is, if she can forgive me and let us start being friends again, I don't think you have anything to worry about."

Skara thought about that for a moment, true, she hadn't done anything as bad as what Amity did, but Amity only did that so that Mr. and Mrs. Blight wouldn't mess with Willow.

"Just believe in yourself and you'll be able to tell her how you feel," said Amity.

"Wow, that's rich coming from you Little Miss Perfect."

Shut it you!
