I do not own Harry Potter, only any OC that may appear in a story

Hello guys, Badger. Welcome to a brand new story. Well, it's not exactly new. If this story seems familiar, it's because this is a remake of a story I started a while ago called "Dumbledore's Army". To begin with, I enjoyed what I had done, however, after making more stories and improving my writing story, at least I hope I have, I didn't enjoy it quite as much, so I decided to completely remake it from the ground up, but keeping the same premise and notes I had for Dumbledore's Army.

This first chapter is quite a long one. At least for me. I didn't expect the chapter to be as long as it was, but I think you will enjoy it. So I'll leave it there for now. I hope you enjoy and I will see you at the end.

Chapter 1

Doing The Right Thing

31st October, 1981

"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."

Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts, Leader of the Light, Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot and, according to many, the greatest Wizard alive since Merlin himself, sat in his office, his head in his hands. The prophecy repeating itself in his head, over and over again, as if it was trying to torture him. As soon as he heard the prophecy he was quick to deduce who the prophecy could have been talking about. Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. Unsure on who could become the one the prophecy was talking about, he had both the Potters and Longbottoms, go into hiding, out of Voldemort's reach, until he had a clear vision on the prophecy. And hide they did. Until just a few hours ago. When the Potters went into hiding at Godric's Hollow, Dumbledore set up wards around the place, that will alert him should Voldemort attack. And tonight, he felt those wards shatter.

As quick as he could, Dumbledore made his way over to Godric's Hollow, where his worst fears came true. James and Lily Potter dead. The Fidelius Charm around the building was broken, meaning one thing. Peter Pettigrew had ratted them out to Voldemort. As he called for some Aurors to have James and Lily's bodies removed from the property, so they can have a proper burial, Dumbledore checked on Harry. The crying baby was unharmed, save for a scar on his forehead, in the shape of a lightning bolt. The Dark Lord will mark him as his equal. Dumbledore, now, had no doubt that Harry was the child the prophecy spoke of, he just wished it didn't result in the deaths of James and Lily. If Harry's scar wasn't evident enough, the familiar black cloak that lay on the ground, covered in dust was a dead giveaway. Lily's love for her son must have protected the boy. That was ancient magic, forgotten by most. After seeing that Harry was fine, physically, Dumbledore ran some diagnostics on the boy, where he was relieved to see there was no traces of dark magic residing within him.

Her protection must have rebounded and destroyed the Dark Lords body. But Dumbledore knew he would return. The Dark Lord had made Horcruxes, as long as those were still intact, Voldemort was practically immortal. And now, due to the context of the prophecy, only Harry can be the one to kill him for good, meaning he was going to have to be trained. After the Aurors took James and Lily away, Dumbledore took Harry and went to check on the Longbottoms, to let them know it was safe to come out of hiding. However, to his horror, there were Aurors present. After inquiring to the Aurors, they informed him that Neville was safe, however Frank and Alice had been tortured until their minds snapped. The two were now just a husk of a person, in a mindless state. The LeStrange's and Barty Crouch Jr were the ones who tortured them, though Frank was able to call for Aurors as soon as they were attacked so now the LeStrange's were stunned and bound, awaiting to be sent to a Ministry Holding Cell, where they will then await trial. However, Crouch Jr had been able to escape. The Aurors had called for Healers to transfer the two to St Mungos and were currently waiting for them to arrive. As for Neville, he had been collected by his Grandmother who was an emotional wreck when she found out what happened.

At that moment, Dumbledore was brought out of his thoughts by a baby crying. Harry was laying in a crib the Headmaster had transfigured and had now woken up. Dumbledore went ahead and transfigured a small, stuffed animal, which helped calm Harry down, as the crying almost stopped instantly, now happy and fascinated with the fluffy visitor. After the Longbottoms were collected, Dumbledore brought Harry to his office, where he began using all kinds of tracking charms and calling charms to find either Sirius or Remus. If the two already knew about James and Lily, it was possible they would be going after Pettigrew. However, no matter what charms he used, he couldn't locate either of them. It's like they disappeared. Though he wasn't going to give up just yet. He was going to keep looking. However that brought one question to his mind. What to do with Harry. Sirius was the boys Godfather and, therefore, was next in line to look after Harry but as Dumbledore couldn't locate the man, he was stumped on what to do. He couldn't send Harry to live with his Godmother, as his Godmother was Alice Longbottom, who now resided St Mungos. Not sure what to do, Dumbledore sent a Messenger Patronus to his Deputy, Minerva McGonagall. With her initiative, he knew she would help him reach a decision.

He looked up from his desk, when he heard the door open and McGonagall came in, looking concerned.

"Albus, I received your Patronus" She said "You said it was urgent…what's wrong?"

"I figure I should tell you now, before you read about it in the Daily Prophet" Dumbledore said "But James and Lily are dead…they were killed by Voldemort mere hours ago"

"No…" McGonagall paled, bringing her hand to her mouth, as tears fell down her face

James and Lily Potter were her favourite students during their time at Hogwarts. Lily was hardworking, polite and always helped others. Even though James was a nuisance at times, especially with his pranks, he was still hardworking in lessons, especially in Transfiguration, and he always put the health of his friends over his own. To now hear that her favourite students had been killed, broke her heart.

"But, Albus…what about…"

McGonagall was interrupted by the sound of Harry cooing, as he held the stuffed animal in his hands. Her attention was immediatley brought to the crib she hadn't noticed earlier, where she almost collapsed to her knees, seeing the boy, safe and sound. She would've done too, if it wasn't for Dumbledore quickly transfiguring a comfy chair for her to fall into, instead of the hard floors.

"Harry is safe Minerva" Dumbledore said "However, from the contents of the prophecy, Harry is the prophesised one, the Chosen One to defeat Voldemort for good when he inevitably returns, as you know"

"The Chosen One" McGonagall repeated, quietly to herself, as she wiped her eyes to get rid of the tears "He needs to be hidden from the other Death Eaters, Albus, he needs to be kept safe"

"That's another problem Minerva" Dumbledore said "Alice is Harry's Godmother, but Frank and Alice have been tortured into insanity by the LeStrange's and Barty Crouch Jr…and as for Sirius, the man has seemed to have disappeared…I can't find him and my tracking and point-me charms, can't locate him, the same goes for Remus"

"Frank and Alice are…Sirius has…" McGonagall stammered, unable to fully process everything that she had been told "What can we do Albus?"

"There is one option to consider" Dumbledore said "The Dursleys…"

"Absolutely not!" McGonagall yelled, jumping up from her seat, though she quickly lowered her voice when she saw Harry recoil, slightly startled at the sheer volume of her tone "Albus, surely you've heard what Lily has said about her sister…ever since Lily discovered she was a witch, Petunia has been nothing but cruel and cold towards her…and according to Lily, her husband Vernon is a lot worse…if you send Harry there, they would probably kill him…you will not send him there!"

"I understand Minerva" Dumbledore replied, raising his hands up in a surrendering manner "I was not fond of the idea either…so, I wanted to ask you your opinion on the matter"

"What about right here at Hogwarts" McGonagall suggested "Hogwarts is one of, if not the most safest places in Britain…Harry would be perfectly safe as he grows up, especially with the other Hogwarts staff and ghosts keeping an eye on him"

"Hmm" Dumbledore said, as he leant back in his seat, resting his chin on the palms of his hands "I agree with you that he would be perfectly safe…however, he'll have to be kept hidden from the students…we wouldn't want someone discovering Harry has been living within the castle walls…you and I both know the news will reach the front page of the Daily Prophet, especially when the rest of the Wizarding World learns about what happened tonight"

"I'll have some House-Elves arrange a private room for Harry, in a place where no one can stumble into by accident" McGonagall said "I'll also inform the other Professors"

Dumbledore nodded, as McGonagall left his office. He turned to Harry, to see the child had fallen asleep in his crib. Removing his wand, Dumbledore gently waved it above Harry's forehead, so the boy would have pleasant dreams as he slept. The Headmaster was happy that his Deputy had suggested that should live in Hogwarts. Dumbledore feared what could happen to the boy if he was placed somewhere else. At Hogwarts, Harry will be kept safe and Dumbledore will protect the boy, with his life.

1st August 1991

Harry felt slightly groggy as he woke up, where he immediately jumped out of bed to close the curtains, to block the bright light of the sun, that was practically blinding him. Rubbing his eyes, Harry took a moment to gather his bearings, where a smile spread across his face, when he remembered what today was. Today was the day he was going to go to Diagon Alley to buy his school supplies for his First Year at Hogwarts. He had celebrated his birthday, the day before, where Dumbledore had given him his Hogwarts Acceptance Letter. Even though it was obvious Harry was going to Hogwarts, sending out and receiving an Acceptance Letter was a mandatory procedure and Harry couldn't help but smile when he read the contents inside.

After shaking the cobwebs from his head, Harry began looking for some clothes to wear, where, at that moment, the ghost of Helena Ravenclaw, the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw floated into his room, passing through his bedroom door. Her sudden presence caused Harry to jump a bit, slightly startled at the surprise visitor.

"Good morning Harry" Helena said, her voice echoing off of the walls of his room "I apologise for startling you"

"It's okay" Harry smiled "What did you need Lady Helena?"

"Professor Dumbledore has asked me to inform you that he wants to see you in his office, after you've finished getting dressed" Helena replied, smiling herself, like every other Hogwarts Ghost, they found the boys smile to be contagious

"Okay, thanks for letting me know Lady Helena" Harry said

Helena nodded, before she floated back through the door, leaving Harry alone once again, as he started getting dressed. Back when Harry was little, he used to be scared of all the ghosts floating around the Hogwarts corridors, though he quickly got used to them, the more he was around them, especially when they took turns looking after him when the Hogwarts Staff were unable to. However, he still got startled on occasion, whenever they popped up randomly, when his back was turned. Once he was dressed Harry tried, and failed, to tame his wild hair, before he started heading towards Dumbledore's office. As he made his way down, he couldn't help but look around the corridors with a bright smile on his face. After all, he has called this castle home for the past ten years. When Harry was old enough, Dumbledore had told him everything. Everything about the war, Voldemort, his parents and being, what the public called, The Boy-Who-Lived.

This is why Dumbledore made sure that Harry living at Hogwarts was kept secret, because the Headmaster didn't want people to find out, where Harry would be swarmed by students. The last thing Dumbledore wanted was for Harry's location to be printed in the Daily Prophet, where those who supported Voldemort during the war. After being told everything, Harry understood, and was thankful that he had been hidden way from students when the school year started. However, there was one student who discovered him, when he was wondering the corridors, believing it was safe to do so. She was a Hufflepuff and agreed to keep his location secret. Her name was Nymphadora Tonks. From that moment on, a strange friendship grew between the two. Despite how strange it was, considering their age difference, Harry found her fun to be around. Tonks had graduated the previous year, where Harry remembered crying into her shirt, sad that he wouldn't be able to see his friend again. Tonks simply held him and comforted him, promising that she'll keep in touch. And she kept that promise. She regularly sent letters, whenever she could. Letters which Harry would respond to, when the opportunity arose. The last letter she sent, she informed him she was entering the Auror Training Program, in hopes of becoming an Auror, despite her mothers protests. Harry hoped that one day, he could see her again and catch up with her.

Snapping himself from his thoughts, Harry stopped when he approached the entrance to Dumbledore's office. The Griffin Statue, that guarded the staircase to the Headmasters Office, moved its head and looked down at Harry. Harry waved at the statue, a smile on his face, causing the Griffin to smile in return, before moving, revealing the staircase, and giving Harry access to the Headmasters Office. Heading up the stairs, Harry didn't bother knocking, seeing as he was expected, as he entered. He immediatley felt the familiar calm and soothing feeling he always felt whenever he entered the Headmasters Office. Shaking his head slightly, Harry approached Dumbledore, who was sat at his desk, going through the register for the new First Year students who were due to arrive on September 1st. Sensing his presence Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes, let out a happy trill and flew onto Harry's shoulder, rubbing his head against Harry's cheek.

"Ah, Harry, glad to see you received my summons" Dumbledore said, smiling at the obvious bond the boy had with Fawkes "How are you feeling this morning?"

Dumbledore was glad that he decided to have Harry live within the castle walls. The boy was slowly, but surely, turning into a fine young man. Harry was an average height for his age, though some would say he was a little taller then most. He had a slender body, having being well fed by the Hogwarts House Elves. Like his mother Lily, Harry had emerald green eyes, but has the same raven black hair his father, James Potter had. In fact, despite having his mothers eyes, Harry looked a lot like his father did when he was Harry's age. However, thankfully, Harry had perfect vision and didn't need glasses like his father did, though He did inherit James' untameable, wild hair.

"I'm feeling okay, dad" Harry said, as he stroked Fawkes' feathers

When Harry was growing up, he wasn't sure what to call Dumbledore. As the Headmaster had always been a father figure, of sorts, to him, Harry wondered if he could call him dad. Whilst Harry knew he had a father, James Potter, Harry had no memory of the man, besides that one Halloween night and had only seen him in pictures shown to him by the Hogwarts staff. Then, a few years ago, Harry had accidentally called Dumbledore dad, who merely smiled at the embarrassed look on the boys face. Kneeling down, Dumbledore had then told Harry that if he wanted to call him dad, then he could, but when he started Hogwarts, he would have to call him 'Professor Dumbledore' like the other students. When they were in public, that is. Again, this was so people didn't learn that Harry has been living in Hogwarts for the past decade.

"I believe you wanted to see me" Harry said, remembering what Helena had told him, just a few moments ago

"That is correct" Dumbledore nodded "As you know, you will be going to get your school supplies for your First Year at Hogwarts, at Diagon Alley…usually, upcoming First Years are accompanied by Professor McGonagall, however, I've decided that I will personally escort you myself…whilst I trust Minerva with my life, to make sure you are kept safe, it will make me feel better if I was the one to do it, as you'll be safe by my side…and I'm sure you'll meet the others too"

Harry smiled brightly, as he let Fawkes fly back to his perch. It was close to the phoenix's burning day and he wanted to get plenty of rest, before that happened. Stacking his papers, Dumbledore tidied up his desk before he stood up and stood behind Harry. Placing a gentle hand on the boys shoulder, Dumbledore waited for a moment, allowing Harry to brace himself, before he apparated the two out of the office, where they appeared in Diagon Alley, a few seconds later. When Harry's vision cleared, he looked around in awe at the sight around him. He had read about Diagon Alley in books, but what was written on the page was nothing compared to the real life place. The alley was brightly lit, with colourful buildings of all shapes and sizes, where dozens of people were constantly walking in and out of.

Dumbledore couldn't help but smile at the look of awe on Harry's face, as the boy looked around the alley. Dumbledore remembered his first time coming to Diagon Alley, nearly one hundred years ago. Sometimes the Headmaster forgets just how quickly time seems to have passed, and it has been so long since Dumbledore had escorted a child to Diagon Alley for the first time, he forgot how enjoyable it was to see an child's first reaction to the place. As Dumbledore had opened Harry's vaults a few years previous, the two didn't need to head to Gringotts to gather some money and instead, made their way towards the book store.

As they made their way down the alley, Dumbledore caught sight of the latest edition of the Daily Prophet, where the headline was practically screaming on the front page.

The Hunt For Pettigrew Continues!

When word got out about the demise of Voldemort, there was celebration across Britain, as well as people demanding justice for whoever ratted out the Potters to the Dark Lord. After that night, Barty Crouch Snr was removed as Head of the DMLE when word broke out that his son, Crouch Jr was a Death Eater and responsible for the fates of Frank and Alice Longbottom. After his position was removed, Amelia Bones took his place. As well as Amelia Bones taking over as Head of the DMLE, Cornelius Fudge was made the Minister of Magic, when Millicent Bagnold was found dead in her home. When the two were appointed with their new positions, Dumbledore informed them about Pettigrew being the Secret Keeper for the Potters and ever since, Aurors have been searching for the man.

As well as Pettigrew, Dumbledore also told the two about Voldemort. Whilst he didn't tell them the whole truth, he told them that Voldemort will one day return and that only Harry will be able to defeat him for good. The two didn't believe it, until he informed them of the prophecy and what it meant. Dumbledore didn't want the public to know that Voldemort was in fact, still alive, as he didn't want fear to spread and for the Death Eaters to continue their attacks, knowing their Master was still alive. Amelia and Cornelius agreed with this sentiment, however the two promised to make sure that, when the time came, the Ministry and its Aurors will be more then ready when the Dark Lord returned. Both also swore an oath, to never tell anyone else about what they were told.

"Oh my god…THAT'S HARRY POTTER!" Someone yelled, breaking Dumbledore from his thoughts

Dumbledore looked to see a large group of people running towards them, screaming and shouting, each one wanting to get closer to the Boy-Who-Lived. Harry backed up, closer to Dumbledore, where the Headmaster noticed the anxious and worried look on the boys face. Immediately, Dumbledore flicked his wand into his hand, and covered themselves in a Shielding Charm, causing the group of people to hit the barrier and were sent flying backwards a few feet. They scowled at Dumbledore, but ultimately got the message and backed away, leaving the two alone. Onlookers, who watched the occurrence, also got the message and continued going about their day, though they did send the occasional glance to the Boy-Who-Lived.

"Serves them right if you ask me" A voice said

Harry looked to see James Badger and Ginny Weasley walking towards them. Harry smiled, as he rushed over and gave them both a hug, happy to see his friends again. Sometime after Harry started living at Hogwarts, Dumbledore set up play dates, so Harry could make some friends. Dumbledore didn't want Harry to be lonely as he grew up. Along with James and Ginny, Harry had also met James' sister Aila Badger, as well as Neville Longbottom, Susan Bones, Astoria Greengrass and Michael Corner. Dumbledore made sure that Harry got to see his friends regularly and, like Harry, Dumbledore informed them everything revolving Voldemort when they were old enough, as Dumbledore wanted to make sure Harry had loyal friends by his side every step of the way.

"It's great to see you guys again" Harry smiled brightly "Where are the others?"

"Fred and George took Ron to Zonko's, to try and cheer him up, he's been throwing a tantrum lately, he's not happy that he has to wait another year before he can go to Hogwarts" Ginny said, rolling her eyes at her younger brothers behaviour "and I think Neville and Michael will be doing their shopping tomorrow"

"Aila is with Susan and Astoria, for a 'girls day out'" James replied "So that leaves the three of us on our own today…me and Ginny didn't want to start shopping until you arrived"

Dumbledore smiled, as he watched Harry converse with his friends, as they began to make their way into the bookstore to begin their shopping. When setting up play dates for Harry, when he was a mere infant, Dumbledore was careful with who he selected and he was glad he chose correctly. Harry had met James and Ginny first. The Weasleys were a Light Family and had always been loyal to the cause, the kind of loyalty Harry was going to need in his fight against Voldemort. Then there were the Badgers. Despite having a rich and fruitful of dark magic, the Badger's classed themselves as a Grey family and, even though they had a dark past, the last five generations of their family have fought for the Light. James' loyalty and plentiful knowledge of magic, again, would be something Harry was going to need in the future.

Dumbledore kept a close eye on the trio, as they bought their books, writing supplies, robes, and other supplies on their list, before he led them into Ollivander's Wand Store, where the smell of wood hit their nostrils. The smell was overbearing, yet pleasant.

"Mr Ollivander" Dumbledore called out "I have new students for you to match!"

Almost immediately, a fairly old man appeared behind one of the shelves that contained wand boxes of various shades of blacks, browns and greys. His eyes looked to each of the trio, unnerving the three slightly from how intense his gaze was, before a smile crossed his lips.

"Mr Badger, Miss Weasley…and Mr Potter, what a surprise, yet a welcome one" He said, voice raspy, before he looked to Dumbledore "Ah, Albus Dumbledore, so good to see you again, I trust that wand of yours has been working well for you?"

"Yes it has Ollivander" Dumbledore smiled, before gesturing to the trio "But now, it's their turn"

"Of course" Ollivander said, before removing a tape measure from a drawer on his desk "I think it's only fair if we start with ladies first"

For the next several minutes, Ollivander took some time, taking Ginny's measurements and asking her a few personal questions, to find the wand that will match with her personality. He gave Ginny a few to try, but they proved to be unsuccessful. After a fifth, failed attempt, Ollivander thought for a moment before he went to one of the furthest shelves and dug out a dark brown box. Removing the wand from within, he revealed an elegant looking wand, jet black in colour, with a twisted handle, with a studded piece between the shaft and the handle, allowing for a firmer grip. Ollivander twirled the wand in his hands, for a moment, examining it closer, before he spoke.

"12 inches, made from Yew wood, with a Dragon Heartstring Core" He said, as he gently handed it to Ginny "A rare wand, however, it has a fierce reputation for duelling and curses, and often performs the most flamboyant of spells"

Ginny slowly reached out and took the wand, where red sparks shot out from the tip, as soon as her fingers wrapped around the handle. At first, she looked confused as to what happened, but the smile Ollivander was giving her, told her it was a match. Happy that one out of three had been matched, Ollivander moved onto James, repeating the same process. James must have tried nearly ten wands, or maybe more, before Ollivander disappeared to the very back of his store, before coming back with a jet black box.

The wand inside, like Ginny's, was jet black in colour, however, it was a single piece of wood and it had a hand carved look to it, with rough and bumpy edges. There also seemed to be some kind of runes, carved into the handle of the wand, though neither of the trio knew what the runes stood for. Ollivander took a closer look at the wand, running his hand along the wood, as he examined it.

"11 ¾ inches, made from Ebony Wood, with a Thestral Tail Hair Core" He said "A unique combination of materials…yet, perfect all kinds of combative magic and transfiguration, and, due to the wands properties, the wand is happiest when in possession of those with the courage to be themselves…and those, who don't fear death…"

Ollivander looked at the wand for a brief moment, before he handed the wand over to James. Reaching out, James carefully gripped the handle of the wand where, almost instantly, he began to glow a golden hue and all the flames on the candles grew bigger, illuminating the shop even more. It lasted for several seconds before dying down, where Ollivander happily declared that it was a match. The ancient wandmaker then looked to Harry, who felt slightly nervous, at the intense way the man was looking at him, though he didn't let it show.

"Hmm, I have a feeling you may be the trickiest to match, Mr Potter" Ollivander said, after a few seconds "However, I'm sure we'll be able to find the correct wand for you"

What happened next, proved to be the longest thirty minutes of Harry's life. Ollivander must have handed Harry dozens, upon dozens, of all kinds of wands, and each one was unsuccessful. Every wand he tried either broke something in the store, went flying out of his hand, or simply refused to do anything. One wand, 11 ½ inches made from Holly wood, with a Phoenix Feather core, actually burnt into flames, reducing to ash, and burning Harry's hand, as soon as he grabbed it. Whilst Dumbledore healed up Harry's hand, Ollivander thought for a moment, as he disappeared to the very back of the store, returning a few minutes later with a dusty box, like it has been sitting around for decades. When Ollivander removed the wand from the box, Dumbledore's eyes widened when he saw which wand it was. A wand he didn't expect to see again.

"Let's try this" Ollivander said "15 inches in length, made from Elder wood, with a Thestral Tail Hair Core…the rarest of all and trickiest to match, it contains powerful magic that only a powerful wizard, or a wizard who has the potential to become so, can wield such a wand"

Ollivander handed the wand to Harry, who reached out, feeling slightly hesitant after the previous wand burnt his hand as soon as his fingertips touched the wood. When Harry's fingers wrapped around the wood of the wand, the entire building began to shake, and Harry seemed to glow. James and Ginny looked shocked and confused as to what was happening, whereas Ollivander and Dumbledore merely smiled.

"Incredible" Ollivander beamed "that is a powerful wand, Mr Potter, for the wand to answer to you, I expect great things from you"

Dumbledore was surprised at what he saw. But it was a happy surprise. He knew which wand that was. How could he not. The Elder Wand. All those years ago his old friend, turned enemy, Gellert Grindelwald had the Elder Wand in his possession when he tried to make Wizarding Kind rule over the Muggles. Dumbledore had fought his old friend, where he was able to win the wand from him. However, when Dumbledore held the wand in his hands, he didn't feel the same feeling his own wand had given him. Despite winning the Elder Wand, he knew it didn't answer to him. Knowing the wands history, Dumbledore gave it to Ollivander for safe keeping and got himself a new wand, as the core in his had burnt itself out. Now, Harry was the new owner of the Elder Wand. With such a wand in his possession, Dumbledore could see Harry as the future leader of the light.

Now, Dumbledore had to make sure that Voldemort never learns about the Elder Wand, and the power it can possess. Dumbledore has seen what the wand can do in the hands of one Dark Lord, he didn't want to see it in the hands of another.

And that's the first chapter done. What did you guys think?

There is quite a lot to go through isn't there? Yes Harry was raised at Hogwarts. Throughout the story there will be memories of Harry living at Hogwarts sprinkled throughout, though I can't say how frequent they will be. I felt like it would be better for the story that way, instead of waiting several chapters for the actual story to begin. Also, yes the Head of the DMLE and Minister of Magic know that Voldemort is alive and that Pettigrew was the Secret Keeper. It is integral to the story. If you're wondering where Sirius and Remus are...you're going to have to wait a while for that to be revealed.

One last thing, yes Harry is the owner of the Elder Wand. Does that mean he's going to be overpowered straight away. No. Throughout this story, we will see Harry become stronger and more powerful as the story goes on. I do like stories where Harry is overpowered but not when he is completely overpowered straight away. That is all for now though, I hope you enjoyed and I will see you next time, in whatever story I see you in.
