Blake got a bad case of flashback shocks as she and Weiss where thrown into a tent littered with White Fang flags. It was the same symbol as on her world.

The short of it was that they were captured and taken back to their base camp. Apparently beyond the seeming endless tundra's of Atlas lay a lush forest that the White Fang evidently used as a base of operations.

Weiss and Blake looked around the tent they were thrown in, their arms bound and their weapons both taken from them. The cat Faunus struggled with her bound hands, trying to find a way to undo them but to no avail.

"Weiss….this isn't good" Blake said.

"Oh what gave you the impression," Weiss replied sarcastically "the fact that we are tied up and taken captive by the White Fang which I doubt are any better than the ones on our world!"

The two young women continued to struggle against their bounds until the sound of footsteps echoed through the otherwise quiet tent. In front of them an opening formed in the tent and someone walked through it. Blake's ears perked up and a scared expression formed on her face.

There in the flesh, right in front of them stood none other than Adam Taurus. Alive and well, without his mask, the branded scar a permanent fixture on his face. His dark red hair was smooth and not unruly as it usually was, and he was dressed in his grey military suit.

Upon entering he immediately took notice of Blake. He took his blade and placed it to the side as he approached the Faunus girl, his long lost love, the one that got away, in this case literally. He approached closer and got on one knee as he looked at her, his one good eye observing her.

"I didn't believe them when they said you were here," he started, reaching out his hand and cupping the side of her face "but here you…"

"Stay away from her!" Weiss yelled.

Adam turned to face her. He stood up and walked over to her as she indignantly frowned up towards him.

"The great Weiss Schnee. The ice queen of Atlas," he started as he smirked "I never would have imagined that you would've ended up here. As a matter of fact I don't believe it since well…you're not her are you?"

His question was rhetorical but Weiss knew instantly what he was referring too. She felt how he looked at the scar on her face, the one thing the other her didn't have. Weiss glanced over at Blake, who was similarly rendered incredibly speechless, no less by the appearance of her seemingly long dead lover.

Weiss turned and faced Adam again and spoke up "from what we've heard you're supposed to be dead."

To this Adam only responded with a chuckle as he stepped forward, grabbed his blade and unsheathed it. "That would be correct. The dead body of Adam Taurus was indeed found here on Atlas three years ago."

He walked past them, his sword raised high and then without another word he made a quick slash.

Weiss and Blake had closed their eyes, waiting for their aura to absorb the impact that was sure to hit them. But they didn't feel anything, except their arms feeling….looser.

They opened their eyes and moved their hands up, now freed from the rope, which limply fell to the floor. Adam walked past them once more and sheathed his sword back before turning to the pair and saying "imagine my shock when I find my own dead body outside the slopes of Atlas. You had to be there to see it" he spoke with an almost jovial joking tone.

Weiss and Blake stood up and at that moment the latter could finally speak up.

"You're not him are you?...you're not my Adam…" Blake asked softly.

Adam nodded solemnly "and you are not my Blake…" he replied. He grabbed a nearby chair and placed it in front of him before sitting on it.

"You two," he said eying both of them with intrigue "are not from this world are you?"

Blake and Weiss where speechless.

Adam chuckled "yes I know about the multiverse. Finding that dead body of myself was just an indication but it also helped we have someone here who is attuned to the other worlds out there?"

"Attuned?" Weiss asked.

"Yes. Someone who can sense other worlds. But enough about that, you two have a lot to explain, such as how did you get here?" Adam asked.

Blake and Weiss eyed each other curiously. How they got here was still a mystery to them. They were saved from being imprisoned inside an apparently inescapable prison realm and landed in this icy tundra about a week ago, still none the wiser about how they had been put in these circumstances.

"We…actually don't know. It's kind of a long story…." Weiss spoke hesitantly.

Adam simply nodded "well then, some tea is in order."

Ten minutes later a pot of hot tea was brewed and Adam gave both the huntresses a cup as well as providing them a chair to sit in. They sat across from him as he eyed them curiously while Weiss told their story, or at least a less detailed version of her story, still a bit hesitant to reveal too much. Blake kept looking anxiously between her friend and the doppelganger of her former flame.

"And that's how we ended up here" Weiss finished as she took a sip of her tea.

Adam nodded in response "I see. That must have been quite an experience for you. But this does explain how we found my doppelganger's body. He was part of this…how did you call it Collective?"

"Yes. They are a powerful organization with ties to many other worlds. Their leader is a maniac named Thanos and he leads them in a crusade to do…well who knows what? All we know is that he's dangerous and that the Adam you found, the one from our world was a member of his cabal, at least that's what a friend of us told" Weiss explained.

"And who might this friend be?"

"His name is Jaune Arc. He was send here to this world by Thanos too…" Weiss stopped herself from speaking further, clutching the cup in her hands. She was reminded of the ice cold possessive stare of her doppelganger as she threatened her.

"Jaune Arc. I haven't heard that name in a long time" Adam said.

Blake's cat ears perked up "do you know him?" she asked.

"Not personally no. But the one I told you about she knew him, always spoke highly of him. Apparently he died years ago."

That checked out, at least in Weiss's mind she recalled how the entire reason for her doppelganger's psychotic turn came about after losing her world's Jaune.

"We know…" Weiss said trailing off. She thought about their Jaune. Did he survive? Was he doing alright? What had happened to everyone while they were gone. "Adam? What do you know about this world's version of me."

Adam sighed as he placed his hand over the branded scar on his face. The Schnee brand logo blistering brightly over his pale face.

"Weiss Schnee. The ice queen of Atlas, that's what they call her because most of them are afraid to call her what she really is. A dictator," he took a momentary pause before resuming speaking "years ago she took over Atlas with an iron fist. I don't know how she did it, but suddenly she had a more powerful force backing her, more than any of us can handle. So we hid out here in the forests, far away from her tyranny, offering refuge and help to both human and Faunus that are running from her."

Blake couldn't believe her ears. She had seen her Adam be defined by his hatred and his pain, letting it fester until he became but a shell of the idealistic man she had fallen in love with. And now she saw him again, but this time at his most idealistic.

"We don't know how it happened. How she suddenly got such an armada under her control but…"

"I can answer that for you," Weiss said standing up "it was the Collective. She is the daughter of Thanos, the Collective's leader. He gave her those forces and allowed her to do this."

There was a silence in the air and Blake remained silent still, unable to find her words. Weiss herself didn't hold back anymore. Adam spoke up "that does explain a lot. You seem to know a lot about her, I assume you have had similar experiences."

Weiss scoffed "oh absolutely not!" she shouted "she's a psycho that has threatened both me and the people I love. She needs to be brought down, wherever she may be and I will gladly help you do that!"

Adam raised his eyebrows at that, mildly amused by the fire in Weiss's voice.

"I like your spirit, you are definitely a better version of the ice queen…but while her forces are still ever present, her majesty herself hasn't shown up in months."

Weiss remembered what she had heard Silco say about her psycho double still being alive but heavily wounded. Whatever that may mean before she could respond a soft feminine voice spoke up with.

"That's because she is not on this world right now, she is off to a place that even I can't sense."

Everything went in slow motion as the flaps of the tent opened up and in walked a beautiful young woman in a red dress, her long red hair flowing freely behind her, a gold head ornament adorned her beautiful green eyes. She stepped forward and stood right behind the chair Adam was sitting on and she smiled warmly at Weiss and Blake.

Blake stood up and looked at her in awe, noticing how she looked familiar. Very much familiar. A face that was gone long ago…

"Pyrrha…" she said in disbelief.

It was her. It was her alive in the flesh. Pyrrha Nikos.

"It is good to see you again Weiss and Blake. It has been a very long time, well for me it was, and from the looks on your face, for you as well" she said as she smiled.

Weiss and Blake where awestruck. Pyrrha Nikos had been dead for close to five years on their world and here she stood. Granted without her armor, she was more dressed as a princess then as a warrior.

"Can it be….what are you doing here?" Weiss asked her dumbfounded.

Pyrrha turned her smile to Adam and placed a hand on his shoulder. He turned his gaze to meet her and smiled softly before turning back to the two huntresses.

"I suppose I should introduce you. Blake, Weiss. This is Pyrrha. My wife."

The room fell instantly silent and Weiss and Blake's jaws metaphorically dropped to the floor.

"YOUR WHAT!"
