It was the week of Halloween in Amity Park! Decorations were going up and spirits were abound with joy for the upcoming Holiday. However, for Danny, Sora and Kairi… things were quite different.

A giant ghost eel was causing trouble all around the city. Danny tried grabbing it to stop it from moving but it was too slippery. "You're one slippery ghost eel, but I bet you don't know this trick! Sora, now!" Danny yelled as Sora got into range.

Sora released a huge stream of ice to capture the eel but ended up getting frozen himself. "Damnit."

"Gravity!" Kairi said, trying to stop the eel, but that seems to fail as well.

The eel simply fired a red ray at the trio, sending them flying backwards towards Casper High.

At the school, several students were helping hang up Halloween decorations for the holiday.

Dash was currently painting a bit when suddenly Danny, Sora and Kairi came crashing into him. The paint can Dash was using a pulled all over him.

Dash grabbed Sota and Danny by the shirt, pinning them to the locker. "Defacing my letter jacket? That's a violation punishable by wedgie!"

"Put them down Dash!" Kairi demanded, wanting to conflict whatsoever from the bully.

"Quiet Princess!" Dash said.

Lancer happened to be walking past the hallway when he saw the fight between the four students. He did his teacherly duties and stopped it all. "Grapes of Wrath, break it up!

Give me one good reason why I shouldn't suspend you all for fighting on school property!"

Dash quickly brushed himself off, acting like he was the innocent one in all of this. "I'm a football star! Punishing me would hurt the school!"

Lancer nodded before turning to the trio. "I still have to be fair. You four need a more creative outlet." He read his clipboard for a second before speaking again. "As you know, every year, a member of the faculty puts together a haunted house at the abandoned Townsend place."

"It's my turn this year and I will damn well make sure it's decorated better than Ms. Tetslaff's house last year!" Lancer finished.

"Fat chance there Lancer!" Ms. Tetslaff said, coming over to the teens and teacher to gloat over last year's victory. "You'll never outdo my Franken-Gurkard-Stein monster." She gave Lancer a smirk then walked away to teach her class.

Lancer, clearly a bit peeved over this conversation, looked at the group. "Welcome aboard Team Lancer! Dash, you will build your own room and you three will do the same. Scariest room will avoid detention…football star or not."

After school that day, the entire group got together over video chat to discuss plans for next week. It took a bit but Tucker managed to get their computers to connect to Sora and Kairi's phones.

Sora beamed with mischief as he thought of the best plan ever for the room. "You are in luck Danny. I have a friend who is the King of halloween. He will for sure help us win the contest!"

"Sora…I cannot believe I am saying this… but if you bring Jack Skellington here… you cant tell Aqua! We need to win this thing and he's our best option!" Kairi said. Danny too was thinking of something that will help them win.

"Who's Jack Skellington?" Tucker asked, wanting to know who this new person was.

Sora fiddled with his phone for a minute before pulling up a picture of Jack. Danny and Tucker were slightly disturbed but Sam was the most interested. "He's an actual SKELETON?! That world he's from sure sounds like my kind of thing!"

Sam showed off a book she grabbed from her bookstore that could also help them out. "

"It's called Chronicles of the Fright Knight. It tells the tale of an ancient knight that if his sword cuts through you, you get teleported into a dimension filled with your worst nightmares!" Sam said, reading a small excerpt from the book.

She showed off a map in the book that caused Danny to shoot up from his seat.

"Wait a minute, I know that place. There's a place just like it in the Ghost Zone! This is perfect! With the help from Jack Skellington and the sword of the Fright Night… there is no way we can lose this thing."

"Perfect! I'll ask Jack if he will help us and you go get the sword!" Sora said, hugging his girlfriend goodbye as he set off to go get their skeleton friend.

Danny waved goodbye as he went into the Zone to grab the sword from the Fright Knight, if that truly is his castle in the Ghost Zone.

Upon arrival to Halloween Town, the entire world was excited for the upcoming Holiday. Lock, Shock and Barrel were finally behaving while they helped the Doctor work on one final thing.

Other denizens of the world were doing their own thing to get ready for Halloween. Sora's main objective was finding and convincing Jack to help him.

"So you need help with a problem? Sora.. you know how close to Halloween it is…" Jack said, pacing for a moment. He could help for a moment or two..and be back in-time for everything here. "Okay. I can help. Take me to this ship of yours and let's get spooky!"

Everything was set and Danny had his sword. Sam watched in awe as she saw Jack do his thing. He set up several decorations and props that will for sure blow the socks off of anyone who looks at it.

"How's this for a haunted house room?" Jack said, revealing the room to everyone else. They all looked in good horror as the entire room looked just like Halloween Town, guillotine and all. Little bats flew around the room and spiders spun some webs here and there.

"Jack… it's perfect!" Danny said, flying up to Jack and shaking his bony hand. He flew around the room, checking out the various things the Pumpkin King did.

"Thank heavens we didn't know about you years ago. Think of all the contests we could have won!" Tucker said.

Jack shook his head. "Now Tucker. Sora is risking a lot by having me in a world that is not my own. I only know of other worlds because of a mean creature that tried to take over my world."

Tucker nodded.

"Let's go see how Dash is doing." Danny said, grabbing the hand of Jack and Sora to lead them into Dash's room.

"OH my…is this what it's like to fly without reindeer?" Jack said, happy to know there's a way to do this without animals.

Dash's room was pathetic compared to Danny's. His room was entirely bully themed with robots doing bully things. Over in the corner was a giant shoe on a Roller Coaster track.

"That's it? We are gonna win!" Danny said when he took his friends back into their room.

"If that's what this world considers scary and frightening…. Then I'm not the Pumpkin King…" Jack said, shaking his head at the utter disrespect to his holiday.

"Jack, I cannot thank you enough for helping us!" Danny said.

"So..I've been stuck in this pathetic world for God knows how long… I have to find some way back.." Oogie Boogie said as he opened a portal door and walked right into it.

The whole area was castle-like, with many torches and shackles hanging on the walls around him.

"I like this. Makes me want to rebuild my manor…" Oogie said as he could tiniest forward.

"GET MY TROOPS READY THIS INSTANT! The moment that intruder holds my sword towards the ground..we will be led to its location…" A voice rang out as Oogie pressed onward. What Oogie saw even shocked him.

He has extremely long purple hair and green eyes. His body was unseen due to his attire, which consisted of black full-body armor with a black helmet that obscured his face and a mohawk of spikes on top, along with gray shoulder guards and a white skull at the center of his waist. He also wore a purple cape like his hair, a hood of fire, gray flaming gauntlets, and flaming boots.

"Excuse me, this sword you are talking about…I am looking for the boy who holds it as well.. Perhaps we can work together to come up with some sort of deal." Oogie said as the Fright Knight smiled.
