Chapter 14-On the Senju Hunt
On the way to Tanzaku no Gai, Naruto and the girls touched down in the little small town for a break and let Naruto's phoenix summon rest, dispelling the bird, the group heading into the small town looking for a place to eat, while also feeling the need to gather some information on more accurate whereabouts of: Senju Tsunade. In town, Naruto and the girls found a Barbeque restaurant, which luckily sold their favorite food and there they sat down and made their orders.
Their orders were served in 10 minutes of their order time, most like due to them being ninjas and it is usually best for business to serve them quickly, with a discount. Thanks to the training Naruto received from his summons, Naruto's order consisted of: Beef steak, streamed vegetables, mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, while the girls ordered a low flat, high protein chicken steak, salad and sweet potato chips, served with a glass of non-alcoholic Dry Mead that was sweetened with Cherries.
(A.N. I know Mead is not a Japanese drink by any stretch of the imagination, but it is my story and I am having the world in general be a world that has more cultures that just Japanese, but Japanese is just the predominate one. By the way: Mead itself is just: Honey, Yeast and water, then set it aside to brew checking to see when it hits your preferences and flavored in anyway you wished. Also the non-alcoholic variant is made using Dry Ginger Ale.)
After lunch the Naruto's team, paid for their meals and headed for the best place to get information: the Towns hotels, Motels and camping resorts. The first place they found was a small and cozy 3 story hotel called: Suimin Meiro Torabā, the sign on the door said: [No Vacancies.] but the Naruto's team was after information and not accommodations.
Deciding to start their search here, Naruto and the group headed into the Hotel, where they were greeted by the receptionist, "Good afternoon, May I help you," she asked. As the nominated speaker, Naruto approached the counter and politely (yes he can be polite) asked, "Good Afternoon, we were wondering if you could give us some information?" the receptionist knowing that the four infront of her were ninja replied, "I will help in anyway I can!" "Thank you ma'am," Naruto started, "We are looking for a Tsunade Senju? Our sources stated that she was in Tanzaku no Gai, he was not very reliable and couldn't concentrate on giving us the information," his question was answered quickly with, "Well the last I had heard she and the company of a black haired woman and a pig were in Tanzaku! But that was a week ago and the factor of her luck would make her stay until she lost all of her money," from the best of her memory.
Hearing this Naruto said, "Thank you for your help ma'am," and then on the team's way out, they bowed to her saying, "Thank you for your time and good luck for your day," before heading out the door. While on the road outside of town, the civilian council promoted Chunin: Uchiha Sasuke was approaching a fork in the road, where it either brought him into the town Naruto was in or sent him around the town and closer to Tanzaku, where his information degreed was the location of the one who could reattach his arm, so with the arrogance flooded into him by the council and his ego, Sasuke turned down the road that would send him straight to Tanzaku.
Back in town, team Naruto had moved to the next hotel, this one however was a female only Hotel called: Vu~ikusenrizōto, due to this: Naruto was not allowed in and the girls were sent in alone. The girls were only gone for a couple minutes, most of time was spend with receptionist continuously offering the girls pamphlets and special coupons, for their next visit, before they even got the, "No," they were sort of looking for and when the girls were given their answer, they returned to Naruto shaking their heads.
After checking around at the other hotels and resorts, team Naruto found that Tsunade was indeed in Tanzaku no Gai and was there for an abnormal amount of time. But the info gathering had taken a long time and it was getting dark, so the team decided to hold off leaving until the morning and headed for a camping ground (A.N. it is a ninja world version of the Caravan Parks), where they played for a group tent plot for the night and pitched their tents.
(A.N. Naruto, Hinata, Ino, Tenten and Kin only needed a plot for one tent, seeing as they were going sleep together, but they wanted the extra space to train and those were the only ones left available.)
Back on the road to Tanzaku, Sasuke simply decided to travel threw the night and rest when he got there. But the non-stop running was taking a toll on Sasukes body, which showed by his now languid pace and the fact that he was obvious to the fact that he was being followed.
The next morning, back with team Naruto as the girls went to the resort hot spring, to bath and freshen up for the travel ahead, as Naruto himself prepared breakfast and pack up the tent. Once the girls returned ready for the day, Naruto served them breakfast and then while the girls wash the dishes, Naruto headed off to the male hot springs to do his ablutions and when he was finish, they paid for the nights plot rental, before returning to the main road and with a, "Kuchiyose no Jutsu," commanded by Naruto, as he summons forth the Phoenix: Fujikujaku, team Naruto was back on the road towards Tanzaku no Gai.
