Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: Chaos Theory

Act 14: Four Planets Lose Their Light

By: Sora Kazeno

Which four senshi do you think will lose their light? Will it only be four senshi? Is Usagi going to gradually gain more control over Chaos or the other way around?

Seiya entered the classroom and looked at the empty seat in front of him. He frowned. Part of him had hoped to find Usagi's smiling face. He looked at the other vacant seats in the classroom. He wondered how long it would take for the other senshi to return. The sounds of running footsteps in the hallway snapped him out of his thoughts. His heart sped up as he thought of her and the countless times she ran to the classroom trying to be on time.

The door snapped open. A girl with long blonde hair was gasping for breath with a schoolbag clutched in her arms.

Seiya couldn't help but feel disappointed. It was not the blonde girl he was hoping to see.

"Ah, Aino-san. I'm glad that you are feeling better," said Urashima, their teacher.

Minako nodded her head as she tried to catch her breath. Minako took another deep breath and slowly began to walk over to her seat by Yaten. Minako walked past him to her seat to his side.

"Hmm?" Yaten said as he looked up as Minako walked by. He felt the vague presence of a star. The light reflected off a crystal pendant she wore around her neck. It was similar to one Michiru had worn last night but the crystal was orange.

Minako sat down in her seat and felt Yaten's eyes on her. He was starting at the crystal necklace around her neck. Minako flashed him the victory sign.

Sailor Mercury followed the short man in front of her. He headed to the back of the room. A bookshelf lined the wall. It was covered in books from the ceiling to the floor. He pushed a sliding ladder over the end of the bookcase. Once the ladder was in the position he desired be slowly ascended the steps. He pushed his glasses further up his nose. He stopped to look at a few book titles. He shook his head and continued to climb up the later. He climbed the ladder and stopped at the top row. "Here we are!" He exclaimed with excitement in his voice. He stretched as far as he could with his short arms. He couldn't reach the book. "Give me a minute," the old man said as moved to the edge of the ladder. "I've waited all this time. I am going to retrieve this book!" He exclaimed as he grabbed his book. He lost his footing on the ladder and fell.

Sailor Mercury gasped and rushed forward to where the old man would land in an effort to catch him. The old man slowly floated down to the ground next to her. She looked confused at his actions but she was relieved that he wasn't injured.

"I may be centuries old but I still have some magic left," he said with a smile. He blew on the book and dust flew off the binding. He murmured an incantation and the book began to emit a soft blue light. The man opened the book and turned the first few pages. The rest of the book had been hollowed out. He slowly pulled out a blue crystal pendant and held it up in front of his face. "I believe this is the source of the power in which you seek." He walked over to Sailor Mercury. Sailor Mercury lowered herself to her knees to be eye level to him. "This is now yours, Princess of Mercury," he said as he placed the necklace in her hands.

As soon as the pendant touched her hands Sailor Mercury felt a new power surge throughout her. Her tiara disappeared as the symbol of Mercury grew brightly on her forehead.

It was lunchtime and students were in a hurry to leave the classroom to eat their lunch. All the students had left with the exception of Minako, Yaten, Taiki and Seiya. "Am I the only one back?" Minako asked as she looked over at Makoto's empty seat.

"No," Seiya said as he got up and moved to where she and Yaten sat. "Michiru-san came back last night in a battle. Sailor Cosmos was attacking Tuxedo Kamen," he finished. His eyes were downcast.

Minako gasped at his words. "Usagi-chan was fighting Mamoru-san…." She repeated in disbelief. "I can't believe she would do that…" Minako's voice trailed off.

"Chaos doesn't have complete control over her yet," said Taiki as he place a hand under his chin.

Minako quickly turned her head to see him. "What do you mean?" She questioned him. Confused was plastered on her face.

"The other day Seiya tried to talk to her and when Sailor Chi attacked him, she took Sailor Chi's bracelets and healed Seiya. Yesterday Sailor Lethe attacked Tuxedo Kamen and she took Sailor Mnemosyne's bracelets. Chaos regained control and Sailor Neptune saved Tuxedo Kamen," concluded Taiki.

Minako sat there for a moment absorbing everything Taiki had just told her. "I hope the others return soon," she said softly. "I feel like we are running out of time."

Sailor Pluto felt relieved she was able to get past another obstacle. Her path seemed clearer now that she passed what could have easily been an entrance way into the tomb. The crown had been securely reattached her staff. The path became narrower the further she went into the tunnel. She had to hunch over as she walked since the ceiling was becoming gradually lower. She came across another sealed door. Sailor Pluto brushed her hands against the door looking for a way past it. Her garnet orb began to glow and the door automatically slid to the side. She paused a moment in the entry way. She waited for her eyes to adjust. Pitch black awaited her ahead. The orb on her staff grew brighter lighting the way.

A short distance later she came across a large room. She found a statue of a young woman wearing the uniform of Sailor Pluto. A pendant around the statue's neck caught her attention. She wore a blood red crystal that matched the color of her garnet orb and earrings. She picked up the crystal with her hand and took a deep breath as she felt the new energy enter her body.

Minako sighed as she left the school with the Three Lights. Nobody spoke as they walked down the street. Minako looked up and stopped when she saw a blue haired girl running toward them. The Lights kept walking past Minako and after a moment they stopped walking and looked over at Minako.

"Ami-chan!" Minako exclaimed as she ran forward to greet her. Minako quickly wrapped her arms around her and hugged her tightly. Minako felt a great sense of relief to see another senshi back from their quest.

"Minako-chan," Ami said with excitement in her voice. "I'm glad to see you!"

"How touching. It's too bad I have to break up the reunion," said a voice from behind the group.

They knew who it was before they turned around. Sailor Phi stood behind them with an evil grin. Sailor Lethe stood to her right.

Minako turned to Ami with a new aura of confidence. "I think it's time we show them our true selves!" Minako exclaimed as she grabbed the crystal pendant around her neck. Ami nodded her head in agreement.

"Venus Eternal, Make Up!" The crystal on Minako's pendant began to glow and the symbol of Venus seemed to fly out of the crystal. Orange ribbons and orange stars surrounded Minako that quickly began to take shape into her new fuku. She briefly had feather wings while she transformed that disappeared by the time she struck her final pose. A few feathers remained floating in the air behind her.

"Mercury Eternal, Make Up!" The crystal on Ami's pendant began to glow as she spoke her transformation sequence. The symbol of Mercury rotated as it seemed to come out of the crystal. Ami was surrounded by blue ribbons and water. As she twirled around in the air the ribbons wrapped themselves around creating her new sailor fuku. Like Minako she briefly had feather wings while she transformed that disappeared in a flurry of feathers when she struck her final pose.

"Fighter Star Power, Make Up!"

"Healer Star Power, Make Up!"

"Maker Star Power, Make Up!"

Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus and the three Sailor Starlights stood ready to battle against the two Sailor Animates in front of them. They were on the lookout for Sailor Cosmos. She typically appeared with them.

"So those are your new powers we were told about," said Sailor Lethe as she examined their uniforms. "But it will take more than that if you want to stop Chaos." She turned her attention to the Sailor Starlights and summoned dark energy to attack them.

Sailor Phi charged at Sailor Mercury and Sailor Venus in an effort to challenge them in hand to hand combat.

Sailor Venus moved to the side and prepared herself to use an attack she hadn't used in a long time. "Sailor V Kick!" She exclaimed as she jumped through the air at Sailor Phi. Her attack gave Sailor Mercury the time she needed to summon her attack.

"Mercury," Sailor Mercury said as the symbol of Mercury appeared next to her in the air. The symbol quickly became covered as water rose up from the base of the symbol. She now held a perfect sphere or water in her hand. She twirled around for a moment before she dropped it on the ground. As soon as the water hit the ground it began to rise up and form lines of horizontal water around her as it began to collect energy. The water quickly began to collect in Sailor Mercury's outstretched hands. "Aqua Mirage!" She exclaimed at the water fired out from her hands at Sailor Phi in rapid succession.

Sailor Phi tried to her best but was only able to doge the second half of Sailor Mercury's attack. She staggered on her feet as the attack took more out of her than she imagined it would. Their powers had been significantly ungraded.

Sailor Venus lowered her right hand to her stomach. She held her hand a few inches from her stomach, palm up. "Venus," she said as the symbol of Venus appeared above her hand. The symbol transformed in a single heart. She raised her hands and rested next to the heart. The heart flickered with light between her two open hands. She twirled in a circle as energy continued to grow. "Rolling Heart Vibration!" She exclaimed as she pushed the energy away from her. The heart split several times and grew brighter each time the heart split.

Sailor Phi was not paying attention to Sailor Venus and was hit by her attack at full force. She landed hard on the ground. She became very angry. She pulled herself back to her feet and summoned a wide range attack.

Sailor Lethe narrowed her eyes at the Sailor Starlights. Her focus was on hurting them to understand the pain she was feeling. She launched an attack at the senshi. They quickly scattered to the side doing their best to not be caught in the blast.

Sailor Venus and Sailor Mercury were injured by Sailor Phi's energy blasts. Sailor Phi was no longer holding anything back and she moved on to her next targets, the Sailor Starlights.

Sailor Star Maker and Sailor Star Healer were focused on avoiding Sailor Lethe and were not paying attention to Sailor Phi's ambush. The two were thrown back by the blast.

Sailor Star Fighter turned her head as she heard the commotion. The head turned gave Sailor Lethe just enough time to attack her. Sailor Star Fighter was thrown back by the blast. As she looked around at the other senshi everyone was injured and the two animates had the upper hand.

Sailor Lethe attention was on Sailor Star Fighter. She raised her left hand as a ball of dark energy collected in her hand preparing to strike again. A red butterfly flew across the air momentarily distracting Sailor Lethe.

The distraction was just long enough for Princess Kakyuu to purify her. Sailor Lethe screamed as her bracelets began to fade.

Sailor Phi snapped her head in the direction she heard Sailor Lethe's distress. She saw Sailor Lethe slowly fade away. Sailor Phi took a few steps back. It was now six against her and one of them was the Kinmoku Princess.

The Sailor Starlights felt relieved at the sight of their princess. They also had one less animate to deal with.

Sailor Phi felt relieved when Sailor Cosmos appeared next to her.

"Only one animate left? This won't do," Sailor Cosmos said as she raised her wrists in front of her face. The bracelets were in the direction of the Sailor Starlights and Princess Kakyuu. "I think I'll start with you four." She finished with a smile. Before she could attack she saw a flash of red in front of her. She looked down and saw a rose embedded in the ground. It was him. She turned her gaze toward the man in the tuxedo. "So we meet again."

Tuxedo Kamen took a few steps towards Sailor Cosmos. "Open your eyes Usako! Stop this!" He said as he hoped he could reach her as he had the other day.

"Open my eyes? They are open! No more lies. No more trickery. Since you want to keep interfering, I'll start with your starseed first!" Exclaimed Sailor Cosmos as she raised her bracelets to attack him.

Sailor Star Fighter was speechless as she watched the scene unfold before her. She couldn't believe how much Chaos had consumed her since she last saw her.

Sailor Venus gasped in disbelief. She refused to believe she would take Tuxedo Kamen's starseed. She loved him too much.

Sailor Cosmos did the unthinkable, she attacked Tuxedo Kamen and went for his starseed. Sailor Mercury was the closet to him.

Sailor Mercury screamed as she felt her starseed being taken. She collapsed to her knees as her starseed flew over to Sailor Cosmos.

Sailor Cosmos smiled at the light blue starseed that hovered above her hand. "How fitting Mercury is the first to lose her starseed. She was the first senshi that awakened all those years ago. Now the real fun begins!" She exclaimed gleefully. "After all what fun is it to take the starseed of a senshi without their memories? Now that she had awakened as the true Princess of Mercury… her starseed is that much more valuable."

Tuxedo Kamen walked over to Sailor Mercury and dropped down on his knees to make it easier to talk to her for the little time she had left. Before he could say anything Sailor Mercury began to speak.

"You can reach Usagi-chan in a way I never could. You have to bring her back," murmured Sailor Mercury as she struggled to breathe. Sailor Mercury's body began to glow and she felt power surging through her. Golden bracelets appeared on her wrists. Her body flickered for a moment before it disappeared. Sailor Mercury re-appeared standing next to Sailor Cosmos. Her face was expressionless.

Sailor Cosmos pushed some strands of Sailor Mercury's hair behind her ear. "I am curious to see these new powers you have developed Ami-chan," said Sailor Cosmos in a playful tone. "Take their starseeds," commanded Sailor Cosmos in a serious tone.

The further north she traveled, the colder he air had become. Sailor Mars shivered. As she looked ahead of her at the scenery before her she saw lots of ice formations. They looked beautiful as the dim light of the sun reflected off them.

Phobos stopped in his tracks and turned around to face Sailor Mars. We are here," he told her. "Beneath the ice in front of you lies the object you covet. Only your flame can melt the ice."

Sailor Mars nodded her head and continued to walk forward. There was a lot of ice before her. She thought about which attack would be best to use. "Mars Flame Sniper!" She directed her arrow in the center of a large piece of ice. The ice cracked in several places and the area where the arrow entered was quickly melting.

She thought about using an attack that could cover a larger area. "Burning Mandala!" The attack hit the ice in various locations but seemed to make smaller cracks than her arrow. The ice didn't seem to melt as fast. Sailor Mars frowned.

She remembered another attack that she rarely used. The thought of this attack gave her more optimism. "Fire Soul Bird!" The bird quietly flew at the ice shattering it into pieces. Most of the ice was now a puddle and snow around it was melting.

At that moment Sailor Mars realized she was going to be there for a while melting the ice. The structure in front on her was gone but there were several others surrounding her. She headed to the pool of water to examine it to make sure the object was not in the pool.

Sailor Mercury looked over at Sailor Phi. Sailor Phi shrugged her shoulders at her as if say it was her battle. Sailor Mercury raised her hands and attacked. "Shabon Spray!" A light fog covered the area making it difficult for the senshi to see.

Sailor Star Maker closed her eyes as she listened carefully to the sounds around her to pinpoint where Sailor Mercury was. Sailor Star Healer bumped into her which caused her to lose her concentration.

"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!" The sound of a lyre and rushing water was heard.

Sailor Venus cried out as she was hit by most of the attack.

"Are you okay?" Sailor Star Fighter asked as she helped Sailor Venus back to her feet.

"Yeah," said Sailor Venus as she looked around in the darkness. She knew it was only a matter of time until the fog would be lifted.

A red spark caught Sailor Star Fighter's attention. She looked toward the source and could vaguely make out the form of her Princess fighting Sailor Phi.

"Stay behind me," Princess Kakyuu directed Tuxedo Kamen. "I'm sure you're the one they are after. We need you with us." Princess Kakyuu said as she upped the energy she was releasing at Sailor Phi. She was able to force Sailor Phi to take a few steps back.

The fog was finally starting to lift. "Mercury Aqua Mirage!"

Sailor Star Fighter was too preoccupied watching her princess that she was no longer paying attention to Sailor Mercury or the attack that was heading toward her. The sound of water rushing toward her made her turn her head just in time to see the attack. She couldn't avoid it.

Sailor Venus tried to push Sailor Star Fighter out of the way. The end result was the attack hitting each of them.

Sailor Cosmos laughed as she watched the senshi stumble as they tried to fight in the darkness. Her laughter stopped and she took on a serious tone. "Mercury, I want another starseed," she commanded.

Sailor Mercury raised her wrists toward an injured Sailor Star Fighter.

Princess Kakyuu couldn't help her as she continued her battle with Sailor Phi.

Sailor Star Healer quickly summoned her energy, she hoped she could stop Sailor Mercury in time. "Star…"

The jewels on Sailor Mercury's wrists began to glow.

"Sensitive…"

A bright blast of golden energy left Sailor Mercury's bracelets and headed toward its target.

"Inferno!"

Sailor Star Healer's attack hit Sailor Mercury but she was seconds too late. Sailor Mercury staggered backwards but was able to keep her footing.

Sailor Star Fighter saw everything happening in front of her in slow motion. She was slowly moving to the side but she couldn't avoid the energy in time. She was about to lose her starseed.

Suddenly a figure appeared before her with long blonde hair. Her heart began to race as she began to hope it was Sailor Moon. After she looked closer at the figure in front of her she realized the girl in front of her had an orange skirt. It was Sailor Venus.

Sailor Venus gasped when the energy hit her chest, releasing her own starseed. The orange starseed left her body and floated over to Sailor Cosmos.

Sailor Cosmos examined the starseed for a moment. "Not the starseed I was after. But it will do," she said. She waved her hand and the starseed disappeared behind her. "I see you are protecting those that the Moon Princess cares for the most. No matter. Sooner or later I will have all of your starseeds," said Sailor Cosmos with a wicked grin.

Sailor Venus fell backwards in Sailor Star Fighter. She was struggling to breathe.

"Why?" Sailor Star Fighter asked Sailor Venus in disbelief.

Sailor Venus took a breath before she spoke, "You have to help Usagi-chan. You and Mamoru-san are the ones that can reach her. She'll listen to you," Sailor Venus said with a sad smile. She could feel her life slipping away. Sailor Venus took a sharp intake of breath as she felt a sudden surge of energy pulse throughout her body. She looked at her wrists and discovered she had the golden bracelets that represented Chaos' control. She pushed Sailor Star Fighter back before she lost control. She kept her head down afraid of what she was going to do next. After a few moments Sailor Venus slowly rose. Her eyes were a darker shade of blue.

Princess Kakyuu felt relieved that Sailor Star Fighter was safe and used her new found burst of energy to drive Sailor Phi back.

Sailor Phi was caught off balance by the sudden surge of power from Princess Kakyuu. Sailor Cosmos stood behind Princess Kakyuu with two new senshi under her command. Sailor Phi for the first time became aware that Sailor Venus' starseed was taken and now served Chaos.

Sailor Mercury and Sailor Venus stood before Sailor Cosmos not moving. "Two down," said Sailor Cosmos. She looked at the others before and carefully eyed each one as she spoke. "I wonder whose starseed I should go after next." Sailor Cosmos raised her hand and with a quick gesture released energy directed toward Princess Kakyuu and Tuxedo Kamen.

The energy was deflected by a new senshi that entered the battle. She wore a golden bodice. It was Sailor Galaxia.

Sailor Cosmos frowned at Sailor Galaxia's appearance. She was not ready to take on Sailor Galaxia yet. She needed to first take the starseeds of the others so she can later use them against Sailor Galaxia to distract her. Sailor Cosmos turned her attention to Sailor Phi, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Venus, "we are done here." The four senshi grew brightly for a few seconds before they disappeared.

"How could this be happening? Why she is taking everyone's starseeds?" Sailor Star Healer asked in disbelief. "This is all a game to Chaos. Awakening everyone, take over Sailor Moon and then collect everyone's starseeds once they become more powerful."

"What I am more concerned about is how we are going to stop Chaos now. I thought there was a way if the eight senshi worked together but two of them are now under Chaos' control," Sailor Star Maker said in frustration as she turned to face Sailor Galaxia.

Sailor Saturn stopped to rest for a few minutes. She walked for what seemed like hours. She thought of countless objects that could represent rebirth but she had not seen any of them along the way. She paused to look at her surroundings. The sun was reflecting off her glaive providing some additional light. Something in the ground ahead of her reflected the light back at her. She had to cover her eyes for a moment to shield them from the brightness.

Sailor Saturn walked the short distance ahead of her. She lowered herself to her knees and began to move some of the dirt around the object that was half covered in the ground. The object continued to increase in size as she continued to move the dirt to the side. After a few minutes the shape of the object made her smile. It looked like a chalice. It reminded her of when she originally met Sailor Moon and used the Holy Grail to power up. Once she held the chalice in her hands she brushed more of the loose dirt off it and noticed it had an inscription. It was very difficult to read. She sighed.

Sailor Saturn rose to her feet once more and looked around. She could see a small stream a short distance away. She quickly walked to the stream and used the water to remove the excess dirt.

Sailor Jupiter looked around the forest as the fairies guided her deeper inward. She was amazed to find such a forest on this planet. It was so peaceful. She snapped out of her thoughts when she arrived at a small cove.

"Let there be light!" Exclaimed the blonde fairy as a few sparkles escaped her hands. The sparkles traveled down the corridor and led down a trail.

"I'm so excited! We're almost there!" The other fairy exclaimed as she tried to rush ahead of her companion.

"No fair Leaf!" The blond hair fairy yelled at her friend.

"I can't help it you're too slow Deedlit!" The green haired fairy, Leaf yelled back to her.

Sailor Jupiter smiled to herself. She felt relieved to finally know their names. They seemed to know here very well but she did not know the names of her guides.

A short distance later they stopped in front of a statue. Sailor Jupiter gasped when she realized it was a statue of Jupiter. The sight of the statue brought back memories from long ago. Sailor Jupiter could imagine herself as a young girl playing in this cove near this statue. She tilted her head to the side as she slowly approached the statue. She remembered a crystal pendant around the hilt of the statue's sword. She had tried to remove multiple times as a young girl but no matter what she tried she was never successful. She wanted the necklace since she thought it was the most beautiful necklace she had ever seen. Something felt different this time. It was almost as if the crystal was calling out to her. She walked toward the crystal and gently held the crystal in her hands. She gasped as the tiara on her forehead vanished and the symbol of the planet she was on appeared.

Yaten stared at the empty seat next to him. He remembered how excited he felt when he had seen Minako and knew some of the senshi had returned. He argued with the others about attending school since he didn't see a point. Taiki, the voice of reason reminded him Makoto hadn't returned and she would most likely show up at school. It was only one more day until break.

Yaten looked across the room and saw the empty seat in front of Seiya. Yaten sighed from boredom. Yaten's thoughts drifted off to how everything had changed since Chaos reappeared. Seiya barely spoke anymore unless it had something to do with Sailor Cosmos. Even Princess Kakyuu was protected Tuxedo Kamen yesterday. He didn't notice when a tall brunette entered the classroom and sat down next to Taiki.

Makoto's eyes immediately went to Minako-chan's seat. Her shoulders slumped down when she realized she wasn't there. Makoto turned to Taiki and asked him, "have the others returned or am I the only one?"

Taiki selected his words carefully. "You are not the only one but it's a long story to tell during break."

Makoto nodded her head and felt relieved to know she was not alone. For the time being she kept to herself as class began. Her mind had a growing list of questions to ask at the first chance she had.

Mamoru looked down at the city below him. The same city Sailor Moon has saved countless times. How ironic as Sailor cosmos could easily destroy the city. Something always seemed to be in the way of him being with Usagi.

He realized a lot it was his fault. He sighed at this realization. He still couldn't believe his genius move of breaking up with her over a dream and then lying to her thinking it would keep her safe. He thought he was doing the right thing at the time. But then he thought about his decision to go to America. He made the decision without talking to her first. He knew she would be sad but he didn't factor in the anger. At the core Sailor Cosmos was Usagi and she spoke of things Usagi never would have dreamed of saying to him otherwise. She was not an angry bitter person. He knew there was some truth to her statements.

One statement in particular hit him hard. He thought about the last time Princess Serenity stood before him when she was consumed by Chaos. She had said that Chiba Mamoru and Tsukino Usagi were not soul mates yet Endymion and Serenity are. Thinking of that statement now he felt sick to his stomach. He couldn't help but wonder how things would have been different if he would have insisted to stay in Japan. He didn't want to believe that they might not be soul mates after everything they had been through. He refused to believe it.

A large explosion sounded in the distance. The sound snapped Mamoru out of his thoughts and he saw a small line of smoke rising. She was back. 'This has to end soon Usako. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take." He thought as he quickly raced through his apartment and headed to the staircase, a rose in his hand.

Makoto sat quietly with a few tears trickling down her cheeks. She didn't want to believe the story the Three Lights had just told her but she knew they told her the truth. "How can we stop Usagi-chan?" She asked the three before her desperately trying to find an answer.

"I wish I had an answer for you," said Taiki as he tried his best to comfort her.

"Galaxia and our Princess have been trying to figure that out," Seiya spoke up for the first time. He sat down next to Makoto. "We can't give up on her. She would never give up on us."

Makoto lips slightly parted and turned into a smile. What Seiya said mirrored her own thoughts on Usagi. "I'm glad that our summer break starts this afternoon. We need the extra time to figure out what we're going to do," said Makoto as she tried to sound as confident as she could.

Sailor Uranus stood in awe of the room she entered. She recognized it immediately. It was the room she grew up in as a child when she lived at the palace. A painting on the wall drew her attention. She was about ten in the painting wearing a royal blue dress. In her right hand she held her original transformation wand. It was pained the day she was given the wand, the power to become Sailor Uranus for the first time. She turned her attention to a map on the wall which listed the different planets. There were scribed notes next to each planet in a language that looked familiar to her. It was an ancient language used in the palace. If she thought about it long enough she might be able to remember how to read it once more. But she didn't have that kind of time. She continued to carefully inspect the other objects in the room. She felt like something drew her here and she needed to figure out why.

Makoto felt relieved as she left the school building with the Three Lights. For many weeks she didn't have to worry about school and could focus on finding a way to help Usagi. The group was surprised to see Michiru standing at the gate waiting for them.

"All day I've had a feeling something will happen involving the Princess," said Michiru as her way of greeting them. She turned her attention to Makoto, "I'm glad to see you had a safe journey," she said with a smile.

"We're trying to figure out our next move," Taiki said redirecting the conversation to Sailor Cosmos.

"We know she's after everyone's starseeds," Yaten quickly added. He snickered. "Maybe we should just stand around and wait for them to find us," Yaten joked with the others.

Seiya turned his head and glared at Yaten for his remark.

Michiru was walking to the left of everyone half paying attention to their banter. All of the sudden she felt a sharp pain and cried out.

Everyone was surprised by Michiru's outburst. They turned to face her and a tangerine flower appeared out of her chest. The flower quickly bloomed and revealed an aqua starseed. Everyone stood there in shock.

Yaten jaw dropped. "I was just joking," he said in disbelief. He turned around and saw Sailor Phi holding Michiru's starseed.

"You had an excellent idea Healer," said Sailor Phi with a smile. She turned her attention back to Michiru. "I was told to give you these." With a gesture from her hands her bracelets flashed and another set appeared next to the ones she wore. She waved the bracelets on and they quickly flew over to Michiru's wrists.

Michiru gasped as she felt the new power enter her body. The power was far stronger than Galaxia's had been. She felt worried for the other senshi since she knew what she was about to do. Michiru's eyes darkened as she slowly stood up from the ground.

"That's better," Sailor Phi said to Michiru. "Now transform."

Michiru grasped the aqua crystal around her neck and did as she was told. "Neptune Eternal, Make Up!" The crystal on Michiru's pendant glowed as the symbol of Neptune flew out of the crystal. Teal ribbons and waves of water surrounded her. The ribbons quickly formed into her new fuku. Like the other senshi she had feathered wings on her back that disappeared when by the time she struck her final pose. A few black feathers floated in the air behind her. Sailor Neptune now stood there emotionless. Sailor Venus and Sailor Mercury appeared from behind her and each moved to the opposite sides of her.

Makoto gasped as she saw Sailor Mercury and Sailor Venus for the first time since she returned. Her gut told her she was going to be next.

"I guess we don't have a choice," said Seiya as he pulled out his star headset. "Fighter Star Power, Make Up!"

"Healer Star Power, Make Up!"

"Maker Star Power, Make Up!"

Makoto clutched the crystal around her neck as she tried to mentally prepare for the fact she was about to fight some of her best friends. "Jupiter Eternal, Make Up!" The symbol of Jupiter flashed brightly as it flew out of the crystal. The crackling of lighting could be heard as Makoto was surrounded by bright green ribbons and bolts of lightning. She also possessed the same feather wings as the others that disappeared when she struck her final pose.

"Now that it is settled we can get down to business. Collect their starseeds. I want all of them," Sailor Phi directed the three senshi with the golden bracelets.

Sailor Venus didn't waste any time. "Venus Rolling Heart Vibration!" Several bright hearts shot out in various directions.

Sailor Jupiter was fortunate to be able to dodge Sailor Venus' attack since she knew her battle style. She didn't recognize the attack and assumed it was part of the new powers she gained. Sailor Jupiter knew she had to attack them back and at least try to throw them off balance so she could try to reason with them. She raised her arm above her head. "Jupiter," she said as the symbol of her planet appeared in her arm about her hand. The symbol began to radiate lighting and bright white light. The lighting began to swirl around her body she moved her right arm in front of her and completed her attack. "Coconut Cyclone!"

Sailor Mercury didn't waste any time as soon as she realized Sailor Jupiter's attack covered a wide area like her own. "Mercury Aqua Mirage!"

The two attacks collided in mid-air and created a small loud explosion that could be seen for miles. The explosion removed any bystanders that lingered.

Sailor Phi used the confusion to attack the Sailor Starlights. Her attack was blocked by Princess Kakyuu.

Princess Kakyuu narrowed her eyes at the senshi before her. "It is time I entered the battle as a senshi," she said as she pulled out a black transformation wand with a large red star on the top. "Kinmoku Star Power, Make Up!" A flurry of red fireflies erupted from her wand. The fireflies quickly turned into her fuku. As she was about to strike a final pose a small red rod appeared in her hands. Her sailor fuku was similar to the Sailor Starlight in some aspects. She wore a two piece fuku. The top piece was nearly identical to the Starlights with the exception of the bodice in red instead of black. She wore a flowing red skirt and a pair or red high heels shoes. She did not have any gloves but had fabric around the top of her arms resembling a puffy sleeve. She still wore her crown on her forehead.

The Sailor Starlights knew that their princess had the capability of becoming a senshi but they had never witnessed her transformation or seen her as a senshi before.

"I will deal with Sailor Phi," Sailor Kakyuu said to the Starlights. "The three of you try to help Sailor Jupiter."

Sailor Phi laughed at Sailor Kakyuu. "Did you really believe that transforming into a senshi would help you? I'm far more powerful than the other animates you faced before!" She shouted at Sailor Kakyuu. She raised her staff in her arms and charged forward. She attempted to strike Sailor Kakyuu with her staff. She missed.

Sailor Kakyuu raised her rod. Her rod began to glow red as playing cards began to swirl around her. "Starlight Royal Straight Flush!" The cards shot forward at Sailor Phi releasing their energy.

"Star Gentile Uterus!" Sailor Star Maker used her attack to try to block Sailor Mercury's attack but she was thrown back. It was difficult for her to fight the other senshi.

"You have to stop this!" Sailor Star Healer pleaded with Sailor Venus. "We need you to help stop Sailor Cosmos not the other way around!"

Sailor Venus was unresponsive to Sailor Star Healer's words. She raised her arm above her head, "Crescent Beam!" Sailor Star Healer moved to the side to avoid the blast.

Sailor Star Fighter tried her best to reach Sailor Neptune. "What would Uranus say if she saw you right now?"

Sailor Neptune stopped her attack before she completely formed it in her hands. "It doesn't matter now. I have my orders." She raised her hand above her head summoning a new attack. "Deep Submerge!" While Sailor Star Fighter dodged the attack, Sailor Neptune prepared her next attack at Sailor Jupiter. "Neptune Violin Tide!"

Sailor Jupiter looked up in time to hear the sound of rushing water. She couldn't move fast enough.

"Pluto Chronos Typhoon!" A large body of wind in the shape of a tornado deflected Sailor Neptune's attack.

"I wasn't expecting to see you back so soon," said Sailor Neptune as she eyed Sailor Pluto in her new fuku. She knew Pluto would present a challenge. Her aqua mirror appeared in her hands.

Sailor Phi was surprised by the power of Sailor Kakyuu. She was far more powerful than she ever imagined. She became easily distracted by the large gust of wind that blew behind Sailor Kakyuu. That was her fatal mistake.

Sailor Kakyuu used the moment to purify Sailor Phi. Unless Sailor Phi was weakened or distracted she knew she wouldn't be able to purify her.

Sailor Phi dropped her staff as she began to feel dizzy. She wasn't quite sure what was happening to her at first. Then she saw her bracelets flicker a few times before they disappeared. She knew it would only be a matter of seconds before she disappeared. Sailor Phi closed her eyes one final time.

A figure appeared behind Sailor Jupiter. "Your time is up Mako-chan," she said.

Sailor Jupiter gasped as she heard her voice. She turned around just in time to be blasted with golden energy. She screamed as a flower appeared in front of her chest. The flower quickly bloomed revealing an emerald starseed. Sailor Jupiter fell to the ground as her starseed hovered in the air for a moment before floating to the person that was standing behind her. Sailor Cosmos smiled as she stared at the starseed before her. She laughed.

How are the senshi going to stop Chaos now? Will they have a new plan before all of their starseeds are taken? Will the three senshi on their quest return on time to save the day? In the next act more senshi enter the battle but who will lose their starseed? There will also be a giant battle. Stay tuned for May 7th! Act 15: The Light of the Galaxy Grows Dim

On a side note I wrote the scene where Sailor Jupiter lost her starseed and later in the evening I went outside and saw nearly a full moon and to the left of it was the planet Jupiter. I just thought it was really ironic.
