A/N – Sorry it took a while to write this chapter and also it had been a heavy workload period at work. Here is the Chapter 9. Since we are now on topic if Harry in muggle world, I intend his first ever encounter with the lady of this fic (and my favourite character in HP world – Ginny Weasley) in next chapter even if they meet as kids. Please read and review.

Chapter 9– New House and Some Training

As promised, the goblins had reached out to Sirius within a week with 3 such properties that would suit the purpose. Sirius had always wanted to be the parent for Harry that he never had and wanted Harry to have a home where could live besides the Potter Manor.

The property they finally decided upon was a secluded property at Cornwall. It was a four-story structure located at a cliff with a magnificent view to the sea below.

The property was spread over 200 acres and was close enough to the muggle village but otherwise warded to keep any muggles or unwanted people away. The property was surrounded by mountains and had a private beach which stretched for miles with the clearest ever water in the sea. The property was connected through Floo network as well as a well paved road which went through the mountains and connected to the village proper. It also had a large swimming pool, a full professional size Quidditch pitch, a stable for horses, enough space to house various domestic animals found at the mansion, and had come with 15 house elves.

In couple of weeks the goblins had completed the renovation of the property and the best ever warding available to the wizarding house was put around and at the mansion.

Sirius had told Harry that both Blacks and Potters had many other properties as well and he will in time take him to visit all those properties.

Harry had asked Sirius, "why we did not go and live in one of those properties then?"

Sirius had replied, "Firstly, I wanted a best place for you to live with me as I would not currently live in any Black property as Merlin only may know what kind of dark objects and curses may lay dormant there. Secondly, most of those properties are outside of London except one Black property and that one is not the right place for you to grow up in. I had been unfortunate enough to live there till I was sixteen and ran away to live with your grandparents who had welcomed a child to Potter Manor with open arms. Thirdly, the others are mostly outside Britain except Potter Manor where you could live in future when you grow up and have your own family. I will take you there but I will need to check with Goblins where exactly it is and what wards may be there."

Harry nodded his agreement and wiped tears in his eyes as he again tried to absorb the words that Sirius had really wanted Harry to live with him and had hugged Sirius and thanked him profusely. Sirius had apparated Harry outside the new property and was met by the Head House Elf named 'Whiskle', who gave them the tour of Black Manor.

The massive and lavish wooden doors on the ground floor led to the entrance hall, which was a grand spectacle. Enchanted torches illuminated the way, and the most exquisitely enchanted paintings and tapestry adorned the walls. The floor was made of marble and was carpeted with the finest Persian rugs.

The living room was designed to accommodate the guests till they could be attended by the owners. It had a massive fireplace, large enough to walk into and would serve as attached to floo network. Whiskle told them that the address was 'Black Manor'. The furniture was new and was made with finest wood and posh leather upholstery. An ornate, gilded chandelier hung from the high ceiling which was throwing shadows at the walls. A polished wooden grand piano sat in a corner. A large painting of Harry's grandparents was hung on the wall, their gaze following visitors with a keen, knowing eye.

It was followed by the dining hall and kitchen. In the middle of the dining room stood a massive oval shaped oakwood dining table, along with the comfortable leather chairs. A massive kitchen was fitted with most modern muggle appliances. The cupboards that lined the kitchen walls were full of the finest quality China dishes and silverware.

After kitchen there was a grand Ball-Room where large gatherings of guests and dances could be held.

In the end of the mansion were the quarters for the house elves.

In the middle of the manor were grand stairs which led to upper floors.

There was an attic which was tastefully decorated with furniture and bookshelves.

The left side of the first floor had a massive library with the book shelves line up to the ceiling. The shelves were full with the books on almost all topic both muggle as well as magical. The books ranged from various leather-bound volumes to the ancient and extinct tomes and grimoires. Sirius had also moved most of the library of No. 12 Grimmauld Place which was considered as safe. There was also a magical index which when tapped with a wand would allow the reader to ask for any book in the library and the book would float down in their hands. If they were not sure of the title, the book will show all the books in library on the subject requested. Harry who loved to read was especially happy to see such a large library. He had decided that he will spend most of his free time here. The library also had a large reading room with oak tables and comfortable chairs. There was also fresh parchment and quills and inkwells available in the drawers of those tables.

Next to the library was a potions lab with the best available equipment and the walls lined cupboards full of most common potions and potion ingredients, which included common as well as most rare magical potion ingredients.

To the right of the library was a training area which consisted of a gym, a weapon room where both muggle and magical weapons were kept, room where the fencing could be done, a muggle firing range, a magical training room equipped with a small cupboard full of potions that may be needed for emergency healing due to injuries.

On the right side of the first floor were entertainment room (which had an enchanted record player, TV and Home Theatre) with comfy couches, sofas and chairs. The entertainment room had thousands of titles for movies and records. The other rooms on the first floor were guest rooms with walk-in closets and attached bathrooms.

Left side of Second floor had 3 master bedrooms, with larger walk-in closets and attached bathrooms. The bathrooms had a bathtub and magical showers which would use the water at a temperature requested by the occupant. There were also a plush couch and a posh study area also having the parchments, quills, dictaquills and inkwells.

What amused Harry was availability of a muggle penset which Sirius had bought for him as a gift. It consisted of a very expensive and exclusive fountain pen and a ball point pen made by a muggle stationary but majorly owned by a wizard and hence also made luxury quills made for wizards. There was a unique one as well that had Lord Black and Lord Potter written on it with Gold that would for sure get your attention.

There was a note that said, 'Dear Harry, please find this gift from Mooney and me for your study. During our Hogwarts years Lily had shown us how the muggle fountain and ball point pen worked and we were impressed by the idea. This is from us in her memory. Besides your title you could also chose another name if you wish. Also, if you will use the fountain pen you will fall in love with it. It writes better than a quill.'. Harry had liked his and had decided that he will use it instead of the quills.

To the right side of third and fourth floors had other guest bedrooms which also had attached bathrooms and small drawers and cupboards to keep belongings.

Finally, there was a large basement that had ample storage space for various items needed for day-to-day purpose and then more. There was a winery which held some of the finest wines, fire whiskey and muggle liquor. Below the basement was a dungeon full of rooms to keep prisoners till aurors would come or for interrogation. There was a secure warded room with a cage for Remus to be in during full moon with enough space for couple of other persons to be in. Sirius had already made arrangements for a steady supply of wolfsbane potion for Mooney. Harry had also remembered that Helga had mentioned that she was aware of a potion which would take away the fatigue and pain due to transformation. She was also working on a potion which could even cure the lycanthropy but died before she could finish it. Harry had enough ideas from her to finish the work on it. He vowed that he will do it for his uncle to help him get away this disease that had made his life difficult in the wizarding world.

Behind the mansion was a massive swimming pool, fitted with changing and separate shower rooms for both males and females. There were comfortable chaise and lounges beside the swimming pool. There was also multiple spa and sauna rooms to accommodate many people at same time.

Whiskle then took them to the stable at the property where there were many horses tended by the house elves. Harry specifically liked a white Andalusian who was called Ebby due to the lush Ebony mane. Then they were taken to the farther areas of the property that housed many other magical and non-magical animals. The most dangerous as well as loyal of them was a griffin that immediately took liking to Harry. It had taken as its duty to be around Harry while he was at the property so that they could bond.

The final touch was the massive Quidditch pitch with only lacked stands otherwise which could have been mistaken as a stadium. Harry had been really impressed with the house and thanked Sirius again. Sirius had laughed that he shall wait to see the Potter Manor which was even bigger. Sirius had then told him about the time he had run away from Black family home in London, and only place he could think was Potter Manor, and how Harry's grandparents had taken him into the family. He admitted that he was awed by the manor and wanted something similar and this was what he could say was something even close to it.

Harry thanked Sirius again and told him that he had loved the house and would surely love to live with Sirius. Sirius felt the tears of happiness come to his eyes which he wiped gently.

Soon Sirius and Harry had moved into their new home and had invited Remus too to come live with them. Initially Remus had tried to argue with Sirius and Harry but eventually gave in when Harry said that he needed both his godfather and uncle Mooney with cute puppy look eyes. He had moved in the following week and was now living in one of the master bedrooms which was still available. Soon both adults had become like parents to Harry and Harry for the first time thought of a place as his home.

More than once, during his discussions with his guardians, Harry had told them that he could feel a great deal of knowledge that he had grasped from Tom's magic and memories. In fact he could feel like he knew everything that during his time in Afterlife realm, whatever knowledge Merlin and Hogwarts founders had transferred to him and he could use it efficiently.

Remus had deduced that unlike muggle world where innovations had continued for advancement for muggles some of which could even destroy the whole planet, the wizarding world seemingly averse to change as it was led by a Wizongamot ruled by pureblood mindset and most older knowledge had been lost thanks to the inept politicians and academicians. Hence, Harry should know more than any living wizard in the present timeline.

Though Harry had never told this to anyone (including Sirius and Remus), during his magical coma, Harry's mind acquired and the knowledge from Voldemort, Merlin and Founders and had organized in a database which thanks to his photographic memory, Harry could recall at the instant. During tha time Harry had also revisited his own and Tom's memories. He knew that his current knowledge surpassed whatever Hogwarts could ever teach in seven years. Infact, his knowledge was beyond the mastery level in Charms, Transfiguration, Runes, Potions and Arithmancy. Tom Riddle had continued his pursuit of magical knowledge even after graduating from Hogwarts and his memories had been clear to understand everything, even if highly unpleasant on overall level. Besides, his knowledge in other magical areas had been impressive and close to master levels.

Harry had also acquired a complete knowledge of sword fighting from Godric and mind arts and dark arts from Salazar. From Rowena had had inherited her inquisitee mind and from Helga he had acquired the healing techniques that world has thought be lost. Merlin had during their discussion told him that he was Harry's ancestor by blood and Potter's bloodline ran through him and Gryffindor bloodline. Merlin had given him the power and knowledge of arcane magics that he was famous for.

During this period, Harry had also seen the memories from Voldemort of torture and bloodshed, and he had vowed to himself that he would never allow any such travesties to occur again. However to avoid the nightmares from the violent crimes of Voldemort and Death Eaters, he had eventually buried details from those memories in deep recess of his mindscape.

During their discussions Harry had also learnt from Sirius and Remus that a lot of Death Eaters had gotten scot-free claiming to be under Imperious curse while serving Voldemort. He promised to himself that he will make such Death Eaters pay for their crimes who had not changed their ways and that he will not hesitate to kill them if need be.

Harry's already enormous magical core was currently still growing as he was merely 6 years old. Even though he was capable to do all the mighty magics, unfortunately his physical body had been malnourished before Dumbledore had rescued him and hence was not as strong as he would have liked it to be. Harry had also understood that he would need to grow his physical strength too match his magical strength.

Remus and Sirius had taken the needs of their ward seriously and had reached out to Minerva, Andromeda and Dumbledore on the requirements of Harry's various trainings. Sirius was concerned that his ward was raised in muggle world without the knowledge how wizarding world functioned and he feared that it would hamper Harry's future.

Therefore, both marauders from what they had found from their discussions with Harry had come to a conclusion that as Voldemort had his special abilities so should Harry. Harry needed someone to help him identify his own powers and the means to manage his growing core. They had also concurred that Harry needed to know about workings and composition of Magical world.

Sirius had already started the education of young Harry on the government of Magical Britain.

During his first lesson with Sirius, a six-year-old Harry learnt the composition of the magical government. Sirius explained that the Ministry of Magic, is the government of the Magical community of Britain headed by an official entitled the Minister for Magic. Sirius told him that the basic mission of the Ministry of Magic is to keep the Muggles from finding out about an entire culture of magical folk. It's a huge, complicated, and inefficient bureaucracy, just like most governmental organizations.

He said that the Ministry's employees are a largely unelected body. The post of Minister itself, however, is an elected position. Wizongamot has the power to elect or dismiss ministers. It is highly sensitive to (and reliant on) wizard public opinion, which they attempt to influence via wizarding newspapers. The employment with the Ministry can be obtained right after completion of a wizarding education though different offices require different levels of education and sometimes specific exam results with some extra training required within the department itself.

Furthermore, Harry learnt that the current government was completely incompetent and some employees were downright malicious. Sirius also told Harry that Cornelius Fudge's who was the current Minister was an incompetent and spineless fool, who was also said to be in pocket of Lucious Malfoy. He asked Harry to check the books on Wizarding Ministry in the library and before their next lesson write an essay on composition Wizongamot.

Harry had written a detailed essay encompassing many sheets of parchments.

Wizongamot

The Wizard's Council was founded nearly a millennia ago, it's existence at the very least goes back to the mid-1200s, and it was the governing body of the wizarding world in the magical Britain from the moment of its inception until the Ministry of Magic was created. And of course, the Wizongamot was an essential part of the Wizard's Council, because in the early years there weren't as many rules and regulations but there still needed to be some control over magical use in the country.

It was formed by the most ancient and noble magical families that have been existence at that time and they had a written agreement which was turned into law upon formation of the Wizarding council. The law indicated that the members of the initial 35 families were entitled to a seat at the newly formed council. Each family was entitled to teach its members a magic being unique to the family and would not be taught to the other families or wizards. Any member of a family who had harmed another wizard will be tried only by the families put together at the time in existence and such crimes shall not be punishable by Wizongamot or wizarding council except where the said crime is murder.

Besides the permanent members of Wizongamot which had been now reduced to 28 due to redundancy of the old families, the old seats have been now replaced by Blood Purists and wealthy families who had migrated to Britain a couple of centuries ago.

Besides these seats 5 seats are reserved for Merlin and Heirs of each of the Founders. These seats have been vacant for time immemorial as there have not been any known descendants of Merlin or Founders except Voldemort who had claimed to be heir of Slytherin. But due to the war he waged on magical Britain he was never granted that seat. Also 1 seat was available to each the acting Minister as well as acting head of DMLE, while 5 could be nominated and replaced as requested by the Minister of Magic. These 5 nominated members were usually respectable members of magical society and included muggleborn wizards.

The Wizongamot had existed as an institution that has adjudicated on the breaking of magical law ever since its inception.

The Wizongamot is headed by a Chief Warlock. The Chief Warlock acts as the overseer to the Wizongamot's activities. The current Chief Warlock is Albus Dumbledore.

The Wizongamot also as the institution whose job is to propose and debate on various new laws and eventually pass them for enforcement. They also debate on state of existing laws and amendments required therein.

Having a photographic memory helped Harry learn fast and by end of the first week he had learnt about the full structure of Ministry of Magic. Sirius had further elaborated wherever needed and suggested texts where needed and had been quite exhaustive in his lessons and as a result Harry was now aware of each component of Ministry and various departments it housed.

1. Department of Magical Law Enforcement - a combination of police and justice facilities. Located on the second level of the Ministry of Magic. The Department was headed by Amelia Bones who Harry knew personally.

2. Auror Office - to pursue and apprehend Dark wizards. Sirius explained that the Auror Office takes in new recruits with a minimum of 5 N.E.W.T.s (with marks no lower than "Exceeds Expectations") and that Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Charms, and Herbology N.E.W.T.s are the most appropriate subjects for someone who aspires to gain admission to the training program. A potential recruit also has to pass "a series of character and aptitude tests. The program's courses of study include "Concealment and Disguise" and "Stealth and Tracking," and that the training is hard to pass with high marks.

He also explained to Harry that during the First War against Voldemort, Aurors had authorisation to use the Unforgivable Curses on suspected Death Eaters: that is, they received licence to kill, coerce, and torture them. Many of the Dark criminals first duel with the aurors sent to arrest them, before finally giving up their freedom. Aurors also operate to protect high-profile targets such as Minister of Magic and muggle Prime Minister. He explained that often a trained wizard is part of muggle Prime Minister's security detail.

3. Improper Use of Magic Office -responsible for investigating offences under the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery and the International Confederation of Wizards' Statute of Secrecy. They regulate an underage wizard's or witch's use of magic and prohibit wizards and witches from performing magic in the presence of Muggles or in a Muggle-inhabited area. Sirius explained that a Trace is placed upon children and helps the department detect offences; it breaks when they reach the age of 17. He also explains to Harry that the Ministry cannot tell who exactly uses magic in a given area, only that it has been used.

Harry felt that it was unfair to young witches and wizards who grew up in the Muggle world (such as Muggle-born wizards, or those with one magical and one Muggle parent) as they are more likely to be caught using magic than those who grow up in the wizarding world. Those living in the Muggle world generally have no contact with other witches or wizards away from school, and the Ministry simply presumes that any magic performed where they are is an act of underage wizard, while at the same time presuming that any magic performed in a wizard home that has minors present was performed by those aged 17 and over. This means that minors living in the wizard world have a much greater chance of escaping punishment for the use of underage magic. The Ministry has to rely on wizard and witch parents to enforce the ban on under-age magic within their homes.

4. Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes -responsible for repairing accidental magic. It is located on the third level of the Ministry of Magic and houses the following offices:

a) The Accidental Magic Reversal Squad - is a squad of wizards whose job it is to reverse "accidental magic." These accidents are normally caused by young witches and wizards who have not learned to control their magic. They may also be caused by older wizards out of control, or severe, unintentional effects of charms or spells, such as splinching (in Apparition when a wizard or witch is split with one part remaining at the point of origin, and the rest of the wizard at the destination).

b) The Obliviator Headquarters. "Obliviator" is the designation for a Ministry of Magic employee who has the task of modifying the memory of a Muggle who witnesses incidents belonging to the Wizarding world.

c) The Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee explains any major magical accidents to the Muggles by creating a non-magical reason for the accident

Other offices

a) Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures – is divided into three divisions (the Beast Division, the Being Division, and the Spirit Division) and contains the Goblin Liaison Office and Centaur Liaison Office, though the centaurs, being isolationists, have never interacted with the office since its creation. It is located on the fourth level of the Ministry of Magic.

b) Department of International Magical Cooperation - is an agency that attempts to get wizards from different countries to co-operate in wizarding actions both political and department on the fifth level of the Ministry of Magic includes the headquarters of the International Magical Trading Standards Body, the International Magical Office of Law, and the British seats of the International Confederation of Wizards.

Among the duties of the Department of International Magical Cooperation are to work with magical governments of other countries, set standards for trade, create regulations for things like cauldron thickness, work with Department of Magical Games and Sports, International Confederation of Wizards, British Seats.

c) Department of Magical Transportation -is responsible for various aspects of magical transport. It is located on the sixth level of the Ministry of Magic and includes the following offices: the Floo Network Authority, responsible for setting up and maintaining the network, and distributing the greenish floo powder; the Broom Regulatory Control, that controls the traffic of broom travel; the Portkey Office, the regulation of Portkeys; and the Apparition Test Centre, that grants licences to witches and wizards so that they can apparate.

d) Department of Magical Games and Sports - deals with organising sports events. The department is located on the seventh level of the Ministry of Magic, and includes the British and Irish Quidditch League Headquarters, Official Gobstones Club, and the Ludicrous Patents

Department of Mysteries (DOM)

As Harry had agreed to join the Department of Mysteries on accelerated prodigal young master program for Master Unspeakable, which was brain child of Bartholomew, but had not yet ever taken anyone as the requirements for the same were almost impossible to meet for any young or even 99% adult wizards. He was delighted to know that Unspeakables are the group of wizards who work in the Department of Mysteries and their identities were classified for various security reasons. He also recalled Lily telling him about her time at the Department, where she had been known with code name "Fiery Flower". He decided to find more about her later.

Bartholomew had also explained to Harry that the Department of Mysteries, located on Level Nine, is a department in the Ministry of Magic studies particular enigmas (death, time, space, thought, and love) and stores copies of prophecies made by seers. Harry had been aware, that there had been a Prophesy about himself and Voldemort, however he did not ask or mention it as he already knew it from his parents.

Harry was further explained about the various other rooms in in the Department by another Master Unspeakable who will be his Mentor.:

· Brain Room: Explores the mysteries of thought and consciousness.

· Hall of Prophecy: Contains numerous prophecies.

· Death Chamber: Investigates the nature of death.

· Love Room: Studies the magic of love.

· Space Chamber: Deals with cosmic phenomena.

· Time Room: Explores time-related mysteries.

Harry found that he was assigned to "Cook" being the Master Unspeakable who was supposed to succeed Batholomew. Harry had chosen his pseudo code name as "Phoenix" remembering Fawkes, as most Unspeakables are known only by their code names except to the acting head of DOM and his decided successor. So only "Dagger" which was pseudo name for Bartholomew and Saul Croaker who was known as "Cook" due to his love of cooking good food and also a most believable story at an instant, were aware of his true identity. "Cook" however had told Harry quite openly and disdainfully that he will not get any special treatment as 'Boy-Who-Lived' from him. Harry had retorted saying that he expected none either. It will be a quite later when Harry will come to realize that "Cook" will be his most trusted confidante and friend at a later time.

Andromeda Tonks, who had been reintegrated to the Black family had agreed on teaching Harry the Wizarding Etiquettes. Blacks being one of the most ancient and noble family had always been insistent that the family members always acted in accordance with the Wizarding Etiquettes. Accordingly, all the children in the family were compulsorily taught the same from an early age. Andromeda had been the eldest Black daughter and hence had been imparted all relevant knowledge by her mother and aunt, who she had never liked, and had exhaustive knowledge of wizarding etiquette and other customs, which made her the best choice to impart the knowledge. Her daughter Nymphodora Tonks, who hated her first name and insisted that she be called Tonks instead, despite being a Half Blood had been taught the same level of etiquettes which had barely helped her clumsy nature, had volunteered to help as she wanted to know her cousin more. Sirius and Ted had agreed that it was an added advantage as Harry will also get to know her and have another sibling even if tad bit older than him.

Andromeda had insisted he called her Andy when they were alone and 'Aunt Andromeda' when in public. She explained the young boy with the wizarding culture, starting with detailed introduction to the Most Pure and Noble wizarding families. She explained to him that the current Wizongamot had been initially a council of the representatives of these old families. She then proceeded to explain to him in detail about both Potter and Black families, both of which were pretty old and always been respected by the wizarding world. She gave Harry the detailed view of family tree of both families. Harry observed that at some point almost all the older family had one or the other member of these old families and that he was linked to Weasley, Black, Peverell and Malfoys. He asked her about these families and found her expression harden on name Malfoys. He also had a memory of one Lucious Malfoy being given a tattoo of a sort which made him part of Death Eaters. He filed this information away for later perusal.

Once Harry had understood about the old wizarding families, he was given a crash course in the philosophy, businesses and culture of these families. He learnt that as a future Lord Potter as well as heir of Black family, both being one of the oldest noble and ancient families, he had or would have various duties and requirements to fulfil. He was explained how the old families had a set of rules that each member was required to follow. He was explained about the expected behaviour at various gatherings including public places, parties and even Wizongamot.

She had also given Harry a course on table manners to be followed. Harry learnt about the cutlery to be used, the glasses used for various purposes as well as where the heir and Lord would be sitting at a table and what actions would be frowned upon. As usual Harry was quick to pick up these lessons and he made sure he always carried himself in proper manner in front of everyone he met, and that had earned him most praise. Andromeda also made sure Harry was aware about appropriate dresses needed for each occasion along with how to carry himself when in public.

She also taught him the wizarding customs about parties regarding invitations and how to respond to the ones he would receive. He learnt about stationery to be used for sending invitations and how to respond to invitations he may receive. She also taught him how to greet the guests for the parties hosted by him and at the parties where he was invited to. She taught him how to behave with men older than himself until he was Lord Potter and as Black heir and how to greet women (taking their hands and brushing lips on knuckles) and with kids his own age. By end of the year Harry was ready to storm the wizarding world.

While at Andy's place Harry would enjoy Tonks' company. Tonks was a Metamorphmagus which meant that she could change her appearance at will. She had asked Harry if he ever remembered a time when he had changed his appearance at will or change his hair. He told her that once his Aunt had tried to cut his hair short and next day they were same as before. She had asked him to close his eyes and focus on his hair. As told Harry visualized his hair as he had seen in the mirror. With his eyes closed she asked him to see them shorter. Harry again tried to do as he was told and a gasp from Tonks confirmed that he had been successful. She asked him this time to visualize his hair as normal. Again in an instant his hair were a normal length. She asked him to make them longer and he could do that. She told him that his hair seemed more manageable when a bit longer than usual. Harry had been happy to be able to change his hair. They agreed to try the color of his hair next time. Harry had eventually learnt that he was a partial Metamorphmagus who could control his hair, hands and feet to some degree.

Dumbledore had graciously agreed to help harry learning to control his magic. Harry would also be getting lessons in history and political environment of Wizarding World. In fact, the old coot was happy that he would get to take a role of a teacher again after so many years. The truth however was that he wanted badly to atone for his mistakes with son of James and Lily Potter who he had come to love like his own during their Hogwarts years.

During his first lesson Dumbledore had started with telling Harry that he was sorry for what had happened to him due to his actions. He had also explained his rationale about keeping him at his muggle relatives and how it had saved Harry's life twice before he was removed from Privet Drive. He had asked for forgiveness which he had received immediately. Harry's first reaction would have been to lash out on the old man, but after listening to Dumbledore, he had come to a conclusion that the old man in front of him, who was considered the most powerful wizard in magical world had only best intentions in respect of Harry and that due to such big expectations and burdens the mistakes made by the man were equally big. Harry had told Dumbledore that he was ready for a fresh start with the old man and would like Dumbledore to be his mentor.

They had then started Harry to try meditation where he was to try to find his magical core. He was to concentrate on his own body and feel the magic coming from within. When in meditative state he was to go inside and find a white glowing orb which was a wizard's magical core. Harry had easily found his core within a couple of days. He had realized that his core was almost a size of a huge ball and was expected to grow bigger. His next goal was to learn to reach the core almost at will and eventually without a conscious thought.

Within a week Harry could reach to his core almost in fraction of nanosecond without consciously seeking it. Dumbledore then started him to get his magic flow from his core to his body so that Harry could effectively control the spells he would cast. Harry practiced hard and within a month he could cast any spell with exactly as much power it needed and was becoming more efficient with it. With his strong and large core it was evident that he could last much longer than anyone in a magical duel.

Dumbledore also made sure that Harry could do both wordless and wandless magic for almost each magical spell. He told Harry that only the killing curse, imperius and cruciatus curses needed to be vocalized and done with a wand and since they were unforgivable Harry was not to practice with them.

Dumbledore had found Harry to be quite observant and be alert in any situation. He had explained to Harry that to be successful, his first aim shall be to control his emotions in any given situation as a calm mind only could effectively deal with a catastrophe. Harry had found that his control on occulmancy could be of a great help for this purpose.

Dumbledore had also told him how the body language of any person could tell so much about them. He explained to Harry what was currently happening in Wizongamot and how the pure blood fanatics were trying to take advantage of the situation. He explained how the laws were amended since first war with Voldemort to take control of the wizarding world and how disadvantageous it was for other magical species. He told him about the way Pure Blood fanatics had amended and overturned many laws that could have made life of many magical creatures easier and had made life difficult for these. He gave Harry an example of Werewolf Act which branded them as dark creatures and required all werewolves to register with Ministry and how it made it difficult for them to get a job. Harry was aware that this was not merely an attempt to manage and control the magical creatures, but to also alienate them so that when Voldemort came back it was easier for him to get them to join him with his false promises. From his memories of Voldemort, Harry was aware that Voldemort did not care for anyone else but himself. His goal was to gain power and all the Death Eaters and other magical species were just means to the end.

Dumbledore had also tried to teach Harry about politics. For this he had deployed the strategy of engaging his mentee first in a scenario and then ask for his opinion on a matter. He would then explain to Harry about the repercussions of his decision. Harry had come to understand that many a times the best course of action was to not respond at all and just observe the situation with a sense of detachment. However, he also found about the times which required to act whatever be the consequences. When Dumbledore had asked Harry what could be such a situation, Harry had simply responded saying, "when only you can save a life, you must", and the answer had pleased the old wizard to no end. Soon Harry was turning out to be a formidable young apprentice Albus had always wanted and had started to look at Harry as a grandson he never had.

Dancing lessons were taught by Minerva, who despite being the stern teacher, head of house for Gryffindor and Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts, was quite adept at it and wanted to be contribute and be part of Harry's growing years as she was still unhappy with Dumbledore to put Harry with Dursleys and also with herself for not checking the son of her favourite pupils when she had been on list of Potter's will to raise Harry in event Sirius and Longbottom's could have been unable to take up their respective roles. She spent time with him whenever they could and had asked Harry to call her aunt Minerva in private. Harry had by his birthday learnt how to dance at the parties and Balls he would ever be invited to.

Albus Dumbledore with help from Remus had agreed to teach Harry about Muggle world's political system and governments. Harry was a sponge for knowledge and he took in all that his two teachers and mentors had to tell him about the muggle system. From Remus he also learnt about the technology that muggles were using and he was amazed to find that there were many great places to visit and had thought of inviting Nevil and Susan to a Theme Park. He also insisted on getting a telephone at their new house.

As Remus had lived in muggle world for long, he had volunteered to teach Harry navigating the muggle world. Both Sirius and Remus had agreed that if ever the situation arose that Harry was too young or unable to take on Voldemort or if Voldemort had eventually taken over British wizarding government, it would be prudent for Harry to flee to Muggle world as that will not be a place pure blood wizards would look for.

Harry had told Sirius though that even if Voldemort came back and tried to take over wizarding world and they needed to flee, Harry and Remus would never leave Sirius behind. Also Harry needed to learn practically about the muggle world, its cities and inventions so as to able to be blend in properly with them whenever needed and not as other wizards who look out of place when in such environment. Harry had however told Sirius that he could hold his own any day with Voldemort due to his high-power levels and knowledge. However he had agreed with Remus that it will be fun to spend some time in muggle world as even when he had stayed with muggles, he had barely seen any part of it and from what he now knew there were too many places he would like to go to.
