My Forever Love Ch 9
As the family walked from the atrium to the reception area they couldn't help but smile, they were smiling because the two people that have deserved to be together for years was finally married, they were finally husband and wife. Derek intertwined fingers with his bride and brought her hand up to his lips and kissed it and said, "I love you Mrs. Morgan", she winked at him and said "right back atcha my vision".
They followed Fran through the doors and smiled as the sound of soft romantic music filled the air, Derek then pulled Penelope into his arms and wrapped his loving arms around her pulling her closer to him. He rested his forehead against hers and said, "you are so beautiful and I can't believe that you're mine", she sighed and said, "believe it sugar because I'm yours and you are sooooooo mine", he laughed and said, "I've always been yours I've just been waiting for you to claim me".
Derek and Penelope were pulled from their conversation as Fran said, "it's time for the bride and grooms first dance together as husband and wife", Derek grinned and said, "what about it beautiful, can I have this dance?", she giggled and said, "you can my love, you can" as she snuggled into his chest.
Fran smiled as Derek nodded his head, giving her the signal to start the music, she looked up at him and said, "you remembered" as the words and music to From This Moment On filled the room. Derek said, "of course I did, best friend, rememberrrrr?" as he kissed the end of her nose and held her body as close as possible to his.
Dave wrapped his arms around his wife from behind and said, "well we did it Bella, they are finally married", Fran said, "and I will soon have a grandchild to spoil rotten", Dave kissed the side of her neck and said, "we'll all spoil that child rotten, it won't just be you". Fran said, "welllll, that's true, this child will want for nothing, we will love him or her and do anything and everything we can to make sure that they are happy and healthy".
Reid took his wife by the hand and led her to the dance floor, Hotch then intertwined fingers with Emily and said, "let's dance Em", she grinned and said, "Ilove the way you think Aaron" as he pulled her into his arms. Dave said, "what do you think Bella, wanna join the youngsters on the floor and show them how it's done?", she slid her hand in his and said, "I thought you'd never ask" as they also joined the newlyweds in a dance.
As the first dance came to an end Derek took his wife by the hand and led her over to where the others were now standing, Fran said, "okay, what would you like to do next, would you like to eat first and then cut the cake or cut the cake first and then eat?", Derek looked at his bride and said, "it's up to you sweetness".
Penelope said, "how about we cut the cake first and then eat?", Derek kissed the end of her nose and said, "sounds like a plan goddess", as he led her over to the table where their 3 tier cake sat. Penelope said, "Fran, it's beautiful, you have really outdone yourself" as everybody stood there looking at the cake in front of them.
Derek put his hand on top of Penelope's on the knife and they looked at each other as they slid the knife down through the cake, Penelope got the piece of cake and put it in a saucer. They each took a bite of cake in their fingers and gently fed each other, the family stood smiling as they took picture after picture of the happy couple.
A few minutes later everybody had grabbed plates and had them filled with delicious food, they then sat for the next couple of hours laughing, talking and eating together as a family. As the reception continued Derek danced with his mom, sisters, JJ and Emily before winding up in his brides arms for their final dance of the night.
Penelope had danced with Dave, Hotch, Reid, Henry and Jack before finally ending up in the loving arms of her sexy husband as they shared their last dance of the night before saying their goodbyes and heading toward their waiting car. As they ran out of the villa their family ran after them tossing birdseed at them as they tried to make their escape from the family they loved so that they could be alone to finally celebrate the start of their honeymoon.
As they pulled away from the villa everybody was waving and smiling, it had been a long day and for a while but it didn't look like the wedding would happen but it did and Derek and Penelope were married, they were joined together in holy matrimony and were getting ready to start their honeymoon.
"Fran stood watching as the car disappeared out of sight, she grinned and said, "welllllll we won't be seeing much if any of them for the next two weeks", Dave kissed the side of her neck and said, "I do believe you're right Bella" as they walked back inside with the others so that they could continue the celebration of the wedding that almost wasn't
