Kuri entered Rei's car parked outside the restaurant.
"And I hate you." Kuri said.
"What?! I thought he was cute." Rei said.
"Just shut up and drive." Kuri said.
Rei pulled out and drove off, as they are driving through London suddenly Kuri was shocked to see a woman sat in the back seat
"Who's she?" Kuri asked.
"She's my intern." Kiana said.
"You have an intern?" Kuri said.
"Oh, yeah." Rei said.
"Hello, Miss Selvig. It's uh...it's a great honor to be working with you." Kiana said. "I'm a miko, or priestess."
"Right. I have to call Erik." Kuri said.
"Oh, uh...take a right." Kiana said to Rei as she checked the navigator
Rei quickly made a sharp turn
"Left!" Kiana said.
She then turned quickly left.
"I have totally mastered driving in London." Rei said.
Kuri called Erik and left a message.
"Hi, Dad, it's me again. Where are you? I came here because you said you were onto something and then vanished." Kuri said.
A news report was then shown where Selvig was naked and running around Stonehenge while the police try to catch him.
"I'm here at Stonehenge, for what has been an interesting unfolding of events today. The police reported the scene shortly after 11 a.m. this morning, after a seemingly harmless rambler approached the area then started to strip naked and effectively terrorize tourists there with scientific equipment while shouting that he was trying to save them. The man later identified as noted Astrophysicist Dr. Erik Selvig has been called in for questioning by police." The Reporter said.
Rei pulled up outside an old abandoned factory and they all got out of the car.
"Come on, this is exciting! Look, the intern is excited." Rei said.
"Kiana." Kiana said.
"Do you want the phase meter?" Rei said.
"No." Kuri said.
Rei turned to Kiana. "Bring the phase meter."
She threw the car keys at Kiana and started walking off.
"The toaster looking thing." Rei said.
"I know what the phase meter is." Kiana said.
As Kuri walked towards the factory Rei called her on her cell phone which started playing an annoying music tone.
"How do I change the ring tone on this thing?" Kuri said.
"You should be able to change your own ring tone." Rei said.
Kurisuta turned to look at Rei.
"Why are you calling me?" Kuri said.
"I didn't want to shout." Rei turned to Kiana, who was following behind her. "Intern, the entrance is this way."
"Kiana. My name's Kiana." Kiana said.
As they entered the old factory they heard a noise.
"I am not getting stabbed in the name of science." Rei said.
She held up her hands and shouted
"It's okay, we're Americans!" Rei said.
"Is that supposed to make them like us?" Kuri said.
Suddenly the heard some kids voices.
"Make it go away..." Maddie said.
"Ssh!" Navid said.
Three kids came out of their hiding place.
"Oh, they're kids." Kuri said.
"Are you the police?" Maddie said.
"No, we're scientists. Well, I am." Kuri said.
"Thanks." Rei said.
"We just found it." Navid said.
"Can you show us?" Kuri said.
The three kids lead Kurisuta, Rei and Kiana to a truck, one of the boys touched the truck and pushed it up with two fingers, they watched in amazement as the truck floated in mid-air.
"That doesn't seem rigged." Rei said.
The kids then took them to a stairwell in the factory, one of them dropped a bottle down and they watched as the bottle disappeared into thin air.
"Where did it go?" Rei said.
The girl pointed her finger up, they looked up to see the bottle reappeared above them and continuously fell and disappeared in the same spots in the air.
"That's...that's incredible." Rei said.
Kurisuta picked up an empty can and dropped it down and it died the same thing, it disappears into thin air, but when they looked up to watch it reappear nothing happened.
"What happened?" Rei said.
"Sometimes they come back, sometimes they don't." Maddie said.
"I want to throw something. Kurisuta, give me your shoe." Rei said.
Kurisuta picked up her gadget to look at the readings
"I haven't seen readings like this since..." Kuri said.
"Kansas?" Rei said.
Kurisuta gave Rei a meaningful look before rushing off.
"Don't touch anything!" Kuri said.
Rei turned to Kiana. "Give me your shoe."
Kuri and Kiana walked away from the others and watches them on the stairwell dropping objects down and watching them disappear and reappear, she looked at her gadget and saw the anomaly was nearby and started walking off; back on the stairwell, Rei dropped the car keys down and they watch it disappear but when they look up it didn't reappear.
"Where those the car keys?" Rei said.
Kuri and Kiana followed the readings on her gadget which took her to another part of the factory, as the readings got stronger a gust of wind pushed her forward and she found herself teleported in another realm.
"Rei!" Kuri said.
Kiana looked around and found the column holding the Aether, she reached her hand out and suddenly the Aether entered her body and she passed out. Kuri caught her.
At the same time Malekith was awakened in his ship, knowing that the Aether had been found
"The Aether awakens us. The Convergence returns." Malekith said.
Asgard
Loki appeared on the bridge towards Heimdall.
"You're late." Heimdall said.
"I can only leave prison to see her once a night," Loki said. "My father turns a blind eye to it for reasons unknown to me."
"Believe it or not, the Allfather knows what it is to love." Heimdall said.
"Perhaps. How fare the stars?" Loki said.
"Still shining. From here I can see Nine Realms and ten trillion souls." Heimdall said.
Heimdall looked at Loki for a moment
"You recall what I told you of the Convergence?" Heimdall said.
"Yes, the alignment of the worlds. It approaches, doesn't it?" Loki said.
"The universe hasn't seen this marvel since before my watch began. Few can sense, even fewer can see it. A world that's infected can be dangerous. It is truly beautiful." Heimdall said.
They looked out into the stars.
"I see nothing." Loki said.
"Or perhaps that is not the beauty you seek." Heimdall said.
Loki laughed.
"How is she?" Loki said.
"She's quite clever, your mortal. She doesn't know it yet, but she studies the Convergence as well. Even..." Heimdall said.
Heimdall stopped as he sensed something.
"What?" Loki said.
"I can't see her." Heimdall said.
Factory
After Kiana was infected with the Aether Kuri reawakened in the factory, she ran out to find Rei had called the police
"Kuri! Where the hell were you?" Rei said..
"Tell me you didn't call the police!" Kuri said.
"What was I supposed to do?" Rei said.
"Not call the police!" Kuri said.
"I was freaking out." Rei said.
"You call the cops they tell the feds, the next thing you know we have SHIELD crawling all over area fifty-one and wanting the place." Kuri said.
"Kurisuta!" Rei said.
"We had a stable gratification anomaly, we had unheeded access. Our only competition was ten years old!" Kuri said.
"Kuri, you were gone for five hours!" Rei said.
"What?" Kuri said. Suddenly the weather turned, it started raining, Kuri looked around her and put her hand out.
"That's weird." Rei said. They saw it was raining but it was not raining on Kiana, there was an invisible barrier protecting her, suddenly Kuri saw Loki standing a few feet away from them, Kuri handed her gadget to Rei and walked towards Loki.
Kurisuta walked towards Loki.
"Kuri." Loki said. As she reached him suddenly she slapped him hard in the face.
"Sorry. I just needed to make sure you were real, it's been a very strange day." Kuri said. "After all you did dissolve into golden dust."
"Well, I am. Kuri..." Loki said. Suddenly she slapped him again.
"Where were you?!" Kuri said.
"Where were you? Heimdall could not see you." Loki said.
"I was right here where you left me. I was waiting and then I was crying and I mourned for you." Kuri said.
"I dissolved and then reassembled in Asgard where I was tried and found guilty of taboo. I was then imprisoned." Loki said.
"As excuses go, that's not terrible." Kuri said.
"Kuri, I don't know where you were or what happened, but I do know this." Loki said.
"What?" Kuri said.
"I know..." Loki said.
"You do?" Kuri said.
"Do what?" Loki said. They leaned in close and just as they were about to kiss Rei interrupted them; referring to the rain.
"Hey! Is that you?" Rei asked. Loki looked up and the rain stopped.
"Uh...we're kind of in the middle of something." Kuri said.
"Um...I'm pretty sure we are getting arrested." Rei said.
Kuri turned to Loki. "Hold that thought." She turned and ran towards the police.
"Excuse me?" Kuri said.
"Are you Kurisuta Foster?" The police officer said.
"Yes." Kuri said.
The police officer referred to Kiana. "Do you know this woman?"
"He's my intern. My intern's intern." Kuri said.
"This is private property and you're trespassing, the lot of you. You'll have to come with me." The police officer went to grab Kiana's arm but suddenly the force from the Aether created a powerful force which pushed the officer and everything else away, Loki ran towards Kuri who was lying on the ground.
"Kuri! Kuri?" Loki helped her stand. "You alright?"
"What just happened?" Kuri said. The other police officer approached Kiana apprehensively.
"Place your hands on your head, step back!" The second police officer said.
"The woman is unwell." Loki said.
"She's dangerous." The second police officer said.
"So am I." Loki said.
"Requesting armed response officers to the scene." The second police officer said into his radio.
Loki grabbed Kurisuta and pulled her closer to him.
"Hold on to me." Loki said.
"What are you doing?" Kuri said. Suddenly the Bifrost opened and Loki took Kuri to Asgard; Rei looked up as they disappeared.
"Holy shit!" Kiana said, falling into the bifrost with them at the last minute. Kiana, Loki and Kuri travelled through the Bifrost and entered Asgard where Heimdall was guarding as always, Kiana looked around her in amazement.
"We have to do that again." Kiana said.
Kuri noticed Heimdall for the first time. "Hi."
"Welcome to Asgard." Heimdall said.
