Hello everyone!.
Phew! the weather has finally improved and I have more time to write lately as well so I was able to finish the new chapters tonight! I did get sick though, caught a nasty cold last weekend.
High fever and coughing hard ugh, it was tough, lost two days of work too since I was to dizzy to use the equipment at work I didn't want to risk myself or risk getting someone sick either so I had to take two days off, next week is going to tight money wise but oh well, it sometimes happens right?.

Chapter 88.
It didn't take long for Astraea to come back with answer as to what had happened for the Quest she issued to be completed, which in turn made me push aside the issues with the Companion Gem and the Weapon Gatcha aside for now, I'll deal with that later.
For now, I wanted to know what happened and so, Astraea explained the situation, I was utterly surprised to find out that it was the actions of Kunou and Wiene that had cleared the Quest and its secret objectives.
After all, I never told Kunou to deal with the war in full, her and the Pokémon were just meant to act as a distraction while the Shepherds prepare and get stronger, as well as give me the time i need to prepare everything else as well.
There was still quite a few things to do after all, important things like making equipment, preparing the Armies and getting everyone up to speed with everything going on, there was also the fact that Lucina still hasn't found all her friends.
I was also giving her some time to travel all over world to find the rest of the future children of the Shepherds, I just never expected Kunou to grow bored and decide to 'fuck it, I'm just going to solve the whole problem now'.
Not that I'm upset or anything, I'm actually quite proud that she decided to be proactive with this situation and just get everything resolved, I know she was just trying to help us in anyway that she can.
Though... this still raises a few issues, among those issues, the one as to how Grima would react to all of this was the most important one in my mind at the moment, in the game, Grima used the war against Valm to prepare and make the Grimeal even more powerful.
Plus the war also increased the number of Risen in the game as well, they even got stronger and far more difficult to deal with unless your party was on a high level, it was a great thing for grinding items and levels, but in real life, this meant that we might have to deal with attacks coming at us from all directions and that's not a situation we want to deal with.
So, a meeting was in order, I had to tell everyone involved what's happening and then decide how to proceed from here with all of this, with that in mind I sent Mew to gather everyone for an urgent meeting.
Meanwhile, I had to say goodbye to Rika, my mother and father for now, though Hardy and Emroy decided to stay over and spend more time with the family, something my Family were quite happy about.
With that decided and after waving everyone in the Hayashi house goodbye, I teleported to the Shepherds' meeting room in My Pokehome and waited for everyone to arrive.
Some time later.
It took a while for everyone to gather, everyone involved was busy after all, but eventually, the leaders of our entire group gathered and took a seat in the Shepherds' meeting, soon enough, Kunou and Wiene arrive as well since I had called them to appear in the meeting via Mew message so they can explain what happened in detail.
So when everyone was seated and ready, I wasted no time in starting the meeting, "alright everyone, looks like something happened that might force us to change our whole plans".
Everyone looked intrigued about what could have happened, but it was Robin who asked about it, "it must be serious if you decided to gathered all of us here, especially when we were in the middle of training... I'm almost afraid to ask what could have happened".
Robin who had arrived with Chrom, Emmeryn and Naga looked amused despite the seriousness in which he spoke, Bell, who had arrived with Hestia and Lili nodded and smiled, "I bet it's something to do with something crazy".
Itami who's here with Lei Lei chuckled and nodded, "no doubt about it, something crazy and unexpected must have happened".
Assholes... even if it's true they could at least not show how amused they are right now, "... okay, you got me there, but there's no need to be jerks about it...".
Everyone shared a laugh while I just closed my eyes and shook my head, after everyone calmed down I decided to explain the situation, "alright, so... you guys know how we're fighting a war against Valm right now?".
Everyone seemed a bit perplexed but they nodded nonetheless, having their answers I just decided to drop the bomb, "well, it turns out that we've won the war already...".
"...".
Yeah silence was the responce I got, not that I blame them for reacting this way, after all, we weren't even fighting in the war, in fact, we weren't even taking it too seriously given how we were using it to buy us some time.
Robin shook his head and seemingly snapped out of his stunned silence, only to begin to ask questions, "what do you mean we won the war?! we weren't even fighting it yet! how did this happened!?".
Emmeryn nodded in agreement and then added her opinion, "as a matter fact, the last report showed that Valm had retreated back into their base fortresses to regroup and recover from their failed raid on Chon'sin".
I nodded, "yes, that was the situation but a little lady decided that the war was taking too long and went to the enemy's stronghold to end the war in a single day...".
I pointed at my side where Kunou was sitting and trying to look as cute and innocent as she could, everyone turned to look at my daughter and stared at her in a bit of shock and even when Kunou cheerfully waved at them, they didn't even respond.
Wiene, who is setting besides Kunou sweatdropped at the reactions everyone had to Kunou's wining a war in single day, or rather, just a couple of hours, but Wiene decided to keep her mouth shut because everyone already looked utterly stunned and she didn't want to make things worse.
Naga was the first to react, though the way she decided to do so was not the appropriate one, well to me it wasn't, the Divine Dragon laughed out loud at the whole situation which in turned snapped everyone out of their shock.
Chaos ensued, questions were asked out loud, concerns were pointed out and exclamations of surprise echoed throughout the meeting room, chaos, just pure unadulterated chaos, honestly, this was just about what I had thought things would go.
All the while Kunou looked super proud of herself, seems like she isn't aware of what her actions have caused, but I can't really be upset with her, after all, she was just trying to help in her own way.
it took some doing and time, but I was able to calm everyone down, or at least enough so they coul hear the whole story from Kunou and Wiene, so both of my daughters proceeded to explain, why they decided to just end the war like this.
According to Kunou, dragging the war was just causing a lot of problems to the continent, Valm was not successful in any of their plans to conquer the continent which only made the Emperor, Walhart, much more desperate.
The civilians would have the ones to pay if the war kept getting dragged on the way it was being done, she knew that we were dragging the war for a good reason because we were preparing for Grima and we weren't worried about Walhart or Valm to begin with.
We were just using them as a distraction, but because we weren't involved in the war per say, we weren't able to see just how devious Walhart was becoming, it had gotten so bad that Walhart even tried to poison a whole lake to weaken the enemy.
It was only because Kunou was keeping an eye on his actions and that Suicune was around, that a tragedy was avoided, so after Kunou explained all of this, no one really wanted to complain or argue anymore.
Kunou had made the right choice and no one had the right to say otherwise, but even if that's the case, this situation raised a few problems, Hestia who had been listening to all of this with all her attention, decided to ask a question, "alright, so we can all agree that Kunou did the right thing right?".
Everyone nodded causing Kunou to cheerfully smile and nod at everyone, Wiene sighed in relief, it seems like she was worried Kunou would get in trouble or something and was glad that wasn't the case, meanwhile Hestia went on, "good, now the question is, what does this mean for us moving forward?".
Everyone looked at each other hoping the other had an answer, Robin the ever reliable Grandmaster hummed for a few seconds before speaking up, "... well, the war against Valm was just a front for us.
it was suppose to just give us enough time to train and prepare, well assuming Grima wasn't ready to do anything on its side, but given what Kunou told us what happened to Walhart... I don't think we have as much time as we originally thought".
Everyone looked worried and I don't blame them, after all, we assumed Grima was going to take quite a long time to recharge its power but that seems to be not be the case anymore, "so we can assume that Grima found a way to recharge its power quickly then".
Everyone sighed and nodded having come up with the same conclusion, then everyone turned their heads towards Naga, who seemed lost in thought, though she soon realized we were all looking at her.
She nodded at everyone and then spoke, "it's possible that Grima found a way to recharge its power faster, but that would require quite a number of sacrific... whoa! hey now that I think about it, we haven't seen or heard of a Grimeal in a while right!?".
Everyone looked shocked as they realized what Naga was implying and I was quite sure that this is what happened, "so Grima sacrificed it's followers to regain its lost power faster... that's not something we were expecting but it makes sense".
Bell shook his head and turned his head towards Kunou, "that Dark Version of Walhart, what level do you think it had? by the sound of it, it seems like it was far more powerful than anything we know so far".
Kunou crossed her arms and then began to explain, "well, to me it felt like it was at a Dragon King Level, but what really made it unique and dangerous, is that is was smart and capable of even setting up traps.
Dark Walhart was able to catch me off guard quite a few times and it also seems that it retained all of its knowledge, experience and abilities as well, this Risen transformation seems more like a Multiplier rather than a conversion or a boost of power".
Wiene then added in her opinion after Kunou finished speaking, "it also seems like it's not something that's not perfected yet, Dark Walhart seemed completely unaccustomed to its increase of power.
Most of the time it would hesitate or even slow down because it didn't know how fast or strong it could move, it's body also couldn't keep up with his movements so it was easy for is to counter attack".
Bell nodded understanding what was explained and then said, "so whatever Grima is doing to create these dark version of enemies is not something it's done perfecting... that means we still have some time right?".
Robin leaned back on his seat and closed his eyes to think, "in a way, but that still isn't enough information to go on... we don't know how long it would take for Grima to perfect this new creation.
That and we don't know to what extent it has recovered its power either, Rean was right to over prepare especially because Grima has proven to be quite the surprising and cunning opponent...".
Everyone nodded, throughout this whole thing, Grima just seemed to be a few steps ahead from them, like it was strategizing for the long run rather than come up with plans on the go.
In other words, it's like they were up against an extremely intelligent foe and that's not good news nor a good thing for everyone, luckly, Rean's nature of over preparing seemed to be the perfect counter to someone who seems to think ahead and prepare as well.
I sighed and scratch my head as I begin to think on what to do, soon enough I had made a few decisions, "alright, looks like the only thing to do is fast forward our plans.
Thanks to Kunou and Wiene we know that Grima is somewhat ready to attack, despite whatever it used to create Dark Walhart not being complete, it can still be used to cause problems and even kill many innocent people in the Shepherds' world.
There's also the fact that we don't know how fast Grima will recover nor how fast it will perfect this new method of creating minions, so here's what we're going to do guys".
Everyone in the meeting payed attention to what I was about to say, they knew that whatever I had decided to do next will most likely help in the long run, so as always everyone will do as I asks.
Meanwhile I took a big breath and then began to explain my plans, "I want you all to perfect any skills, abilities and spells your working on in a week, then, were going to focus in Stat increasing training.
All of you have reached high levels of power and mastered quite a few key techniques and skills I wanted you all to learn, now we're going to hone your stats, from now, overspecializing is no more, were all going to make all of you All Rounders.
Mages will not longer be Glass cannons, Healers will not just focus in healing and warriors will not only focus on weapons and battle skills, all of you will get rid of any weakness and become aces on all fields".
The group didn't overly react to this, they all knew that this was what I had been preparing them for a while now, it just made sense, especially after watching Bell and his group fight.
They were all quite versatile when it came to skills, abilities and spells, which made sense since Dungeons diving is a life risking endeavor and one has to be prepare for anything in a place like Orario's Dungeon.
So no one hesitated to agree with what I was asking for, with that done, I then went on, "I'm also locating all of your future children and bringing them here as soon as possible, it's time we have them catch up and get ready, something tells me that Grima will be adding quite a few nasty surprises and we will need all the help we can get".
Everyone agreed to this right away as well, the Shepherds have been worried about their future children ever since they found out about them, they knew I was looking for them and keeping an eye on the ones I had found already but they were still worried about them.
It was funny, the moment they found out that they had children from the future somewhere in the world they couldn't help but care and worry about them, where they eating right? were they sleeping well? were they okay?.
These were the questions roaming around their heads most of the time and it did surprise them all that they felt this responsible for their children even though they haven't met, when they told me about this, I just smiled and said that it was only natural to feel worried about one's son or daughter.
It didn't matter if they come from another timeline or if they hadn't met yet, the heart just knows and it was something all the Shepherds agreed with me wholeheartedly.
Chrom then raised a question, "how are Lucina and the others doing? are they well?".
I gave Chrom a smile and a nod before answering his questions, "yes, they're fine and moving about, both Meloetta and Mew are keeping an eye on them and helping whenever they can.
Both of them are great at keeping themselves hidden and can move around undetected so they have been helping Lucina find her friends discreetly, she's practically found them all.
She's just missing about two of her friends, Nowi's daughter and Tharja's daughter as well, we're also looking for the rest of the Shepherds' members, we'll need to help them when we find them though, I'm sure they're dealing with their own troubles".
Everyone nodded, though Robin added his opinion on all of this, "I still can't believe Tharja and Nowi had daughters, I wonder who the fathers are?".
I shrugged and shook my head, "I don't know, to be honest, until we find them and asked them who knows who the father are, remember guys, they come from a completely different timeline.
One way different from ours, things might have happened differently in their timeliness, who knows who the father is or if it even is one of the Shepherds, the only thing I know for sure is who the mothers are".
Everyone sighed and nodded in understanding, it took a while to explain the concept of timelines to everyone but they did understand and accepted that their children might have lived very different lives.
Still, they were excited to meet and get to know their children and it was very visible, Emmeryn sighed and pouted a bit before speaking out, "its kinda sad that I don't have a child in their timeline... I would have loved to meet my future children".
Chrom chuckled at his big sister's comment while she pouted at him even more, Emmeryn is so much relaxed now and quite more chill as well, which is great, she had to carry the weight of responsibility for the Kingdom of Ylisse for so long.
So it was good to see her this relaxed, though that didn't stop me from poking fun at her, "there's no man brave enough in your world that would get together with you Emmeryn".
Emmeryn gaped at me utterly shocked at the fact that I had said such a mean thing to her, "w-what do you mean!?".
I chuckled and then shrugged, "well, can you imagine the poor man having to deal with the envy of the whole kingdom of Ylisse? or how about Chrom and Lissa? those two would make his life hell.
Chrom would be all over his ass and Lissa would prank him to hell and back for daring to take their big sister away, can you imagine anyone brave enough to jump into that mess?".
"...", Emmeryn was completely speechless from what I just told her, she suddenly gazed at Chrom, who was nodding in agreement with what I said making Emmeryn sweatdrop.
She then seemed to be struggling for a bit to process everything I told her, her face expression told me that she could clearly see all of that happening which her made her tear up, "I'm going to be single forever...".
The sole realization hit poor Emmeryn hard, to the point that she slammed her head on the table and began to sob, Hestia shook her head and patted Emmeryn's head, "there, there Emmeryn, I'm sure Rean is just kidding".
"Not at all, any man that wants to date Emmeryn will immediately be scared off by Ylisse, the Shepherds and even her family, the poor bastard doesn't stand a chance".
Emmeryn began to sob even harder while Hestia just huffed and glared at me, I don't know why though, I'm just stating the truth here, Robin nervously began to chuckle and then said, "wow, no mercy, you even double tapped her for good measure...".
I just shrugged and smiled meanwhile, Naga decided to piped in, "well, I think there's a brave man out there that can take all of that and more, in fact, there's someone in this very room that the Shepherds would never dare get in his way~".
Chrom and Robin turned their gaze towards me and began to nervously sweat, because let's be honest, if i decide to go after Emmeryn's heart, there's nothing Ylisse, the Shepherds or her family could do about it.
I would kick their asses all over my Pokéhome and it's huge! so their nervous looks made me laugh a little, "who's that supposed to be I wonder?".
Naga just giggled and dropped the subject for now, Chrom and Robin sighed in relief, while Emmeryn continued to sob and mutter about being single forever, good thing she was too busy feeling sorry for her situation, otherwise she might have heard Naga and that would raise a few concerns.
Either way, we have a plan now and it was time to move things forward, I don't know what Grima is planning or doing, but we'll be ready and that Fell Dragon will regret destroying Lucina's timeline and coming to ours to mess with us.
Meanwhile, Dark Domain, Grima's world.
Grima stood in front of her throne while having a malicious grin on her face as she stared at the dark crystal spinning and floating in front of her, she couldn't help but chuckle a bit as she began to speak, "I'm so close... soon I will be able to create the perfect warriors, shadows of others empowered by my power and still fully capable of using all of their talents!".
Grima suddenly laughed out loud as her eyes began to glow red, behind her throne one could see a big pile of dead corpses, dead bodies with the same uniform, all of these dead humans were the Grimeal, loyal servants of Grima who had been sacrificed for her research.
Not that Grima cared, to her the fools had no other use than being fodder for her new Dark Crystal, a Dark construct made out her own shadow power and empowered by the life force of thousand followers.
Truly, a horrendous object created for nothing but chaos, destruction and death, Grima was definitely proud of her work though, she knew it was not ready, this Dark Crystal still has more potential.
So Grima stopped laughing to get back to work, though her malicious grin didn't disappear, she soon turned her head towards to the side and excitedly said, "Aversa, Validar! I require more sacrifices! go get them for me!".
Aversa and Validar stepped out of the shadows when Grima called for them, but it was obvious that these two weren't the same people as before, after all, the black and gray skin and red glowing eyes they now have, told of what fate had befallen them.
Still, now loyal Dark Version of themselves, these two bowed to Grima and immediately left to get more sacrifices for Grima, who stayed standing there with a Dark grin on her face, "soon... soon I'll be ready to take on those fools.
Not even that Rean and Naga will be able to help them hahahaha! what are you going to do dear husband and child?!".
Meanwhile, in the World of Fire Emblem Awakening and in the continent of Valm.
Right in front of Walhart's destroyed main fortress stood Lucina who was looking around, "just what happened here... once again the events of the past have been altered".
Suddenly someone stepped besides Lucina and spoke up, "my lady, we couldn't find any survivors, whatever happened here it was a massacre, a big battle took place here".
Lucina nodded "I know Kjelle, the fighting here must have been fierce, given how destroyed the fortress is, but the question is, what exactly happened here?...".
Kjelle nodded, "Laurent is investigating the ice and snow in the area, he says that that drop in temperature is not natural and whoever cause it most likely is the one who came after Walhart and his army".
Lucina frowned but a few moments nodded, "so it must have been a Pokémon...".
Kjelle tilted her head and then said, "Pokémon? oh! those creatures you spoke about, the ones helping our parents right? are they really this powerful?".
lucina looked up towards the sky and then once again nodded, "even more so, some of the Pokémon I saw were gigantic and felt as if I was staring into the forces of nature themselves, I think one of them did this".
Kjelle nodded though she scratched her head, she really can't imagine how these creatures Lucina had told her about looked like, but given how serious she is whenever she mentions them, they must be really powerful.
Still, it was not the time be lost in thought, "what are we going to do now that we no longer have to worry about Walhart?".
Lucina smiled and then answered the question, "were going to find Nah and Noire, get the whole group fully together then... we're going to look for our parents".
Kjelle widened her eyes and looked utterly surprised by Lucina's decision, "are you sure? I thought you said that it would be bad idea to interact with them... that it might change the future too much, no?".
Lucina nodded but then turned around to face Kjelle, "I did said that, but a lot has already been altered, nothing that we knew was going to happen, happened.
We're in the dark here, so instead of stumbling about, I think it's best we work with our parent to ensure things stay the same, besides... I have a feeling that they're going to need our help".
Kjelle stared into Lucina's eyes and saw the resolution in them, so she smiled and nodded, "alright... if you think that's best then I'll follow your lead as always.
Come, let's us find the others and tell them what we're going to do next, I'm sure some of them will be excited and happy".
Kjelle turned around and Lucina followed her, suddenly a beautiful song began to fill the area, a song Lucina and the rest of her group have heard plenty of times, one that has been guiding them throught their entire search for their friends.
So Lucina smiled hearing the song feeling that it was a sign that she was making the right decision, so both Kjelle and Lucina walked towards their friends with even more confidence in their steps.
Meanwhile, hidden nearby, Mew smiled and nodded as she saw Lucina and Kjelle walk away, meanwhile Meloetta continued to sing for them, all to raise their spirits even more.
And done.
